had a weekend away to catch up with Ghihash so we started with Bendigo hitting the alphabet series for what my car would slow us to get into (after recent heavy rains) and the following day rectified a DNF in Rochester (with some assistance from locus cache) on our way to Echuca to hit the TTT series and get our first interstate caches

Quick easy find and first cache interstate missing my cacheing buddies roaming Howie and Kristy's adventures TFTC
Arfter a bit of trouble locating this one we finaly found it missy in a cleaner spot. Found with k9team
Found during a road trip from Brisbane to Adelaide with five days travelling and four overnight stops, via Ballina, Armidale, Tamworth (staying overnight), Bylong, Sofala, Bathurst (staying overnight), Cowra, Young, Cootamundra, Junee, Wodonga (staying overnight), Echuca (staying overnight), Kerang, Ouyen, Pinnaroo and on to Adelaide. With limited time for stops along the way , we targeted one or two caches in each of the LGA's we traversed, and a few extras at the overnight stops to boost the tally. Thanks for the cache gregandjudi!
Out on a Cold, windy, and rainy morning try to create some smileys when I found this geocache. Even though I normally stay well away from playground caches. The weather today made easier for a middle aged man to venture into such spots without causing alarm. TFTC.
Quick find with Jimmytherat on visit from down south. Nice hide & bonus spotted a couple of bright coloured birds yet to identify but maybe a creeper! Thanks gregandjudi.
Thanks gregandjudi for the cache. Up for the weekend from Melbourne. Nice one.
Nice! Clever little cache Took some others logs as clues and made the find! Signed the log and even left some swaps. TFTC

Nice one. Thankyou for making these kids friendly not surrounded by long grass etc. TFTC
After a long day caching I wanted to find my 400th cache & this just happened to be this one! Kids needed a good break so a play in this little park was exactly what the doctor ordered!
8728 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Team Ladava at 1600. Always feel conspicuous looking in these areas. The Lad had made the find previously and helped us place our hands on the container. SL Tnx gregandjudi
TFTC wow this is our 1000th woo hoo. We enjoyed our couple of days in Echuca. Easy find.
This one goes to geo9 who has had awful trouble with her finds this weekend!! Tftc!!
Up north from Melbourne visiting family and decided to try a cache in nsw no kids in the playground but feels very exposed here, however eventuallly found the cache. Tftc
Found by cousin Leah who gave us a great excuse to not look like 2 creeps in the park!
Tftc! Great spot!

I cannot believe how long it took me to find this! Four visits would you believe?! FOUR!
And even then it took geo-grandson( who had found it previously with his dad) to help me

What’s more dodgy than a late 40s make ganging around in a kids park - the same late 40s make doing it at night. However as I had failed on two across the river (one is missing and the other just too wet) I needed one in Moama to visit the TBs and this was the closest.
Walked up after dinner to the area and GPS had me coming back to one piece of equipment. Felt all the obvious spots and found baby spider webs as well. Waited for the traffic to stop (a huge number of cars at 10PM) and used the torch to look closer. There is the blighted - fingers must have brushed it 3 times. Log signed and returned and wandered back to the motel - TFTC

A quick cache as the sun set and before the storm clouds gathering overhead released their load on us. No kidlings around so we had the cache in hand in no time. We visited the lion to say hello and still had time for another cache before we became soaked. TFTC Cheers:-)
Oh to be a kid again [:o]
Then maybe this cache might have been an easier find
Ah !! Who am I kiddin' ???
I never grew up
So this was an easy find

Parked the car and headed into the Lions den, nooo not a machinery hide! Phew, walked past that but into a kids' playground which is not a good look for a man with no kids in tow. School day so no kids at all - just me. Quickly dealt with and scrammed... TFTC.
Nice hide, met up with fellow cachers, TheBlindSide, nice to see young people out and about. TFTC
Lucky enough to be in the vicinity when mistysoho located this hide with help from tkmosaics. Nice hide. TFTC
We have found having little kids the perfect disguise for finding playground caches. It was deserting this afternoon but the little bunny made good use of the swings. Had a good idea how this one could be hidden on the object and soon had the cache in hand. Was amazed to see a familiar local Geelong caching legend as the previous finder. TFTC

Our last day of NSW travel as we headed south towards the border after attending the GeoMuster in Morisset. We set up camp and set about looking for a few local caches. Fortunately we were the only kids playing around today.
Thanks 'gregandjudi' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

It’s great having kids who want to stop & have a play. Tricky hide if busy. Quick easy find today for us. TFTC
Nice one in the morning! TFTH! Log was full so put in a bit more paper for the log. Found with mistfinkin2208 & madzac
We flew into Melbourne (from NZ) & drove to Echuca to go for lunch on the PS Emmylou (recommended). The plan then was to head back to Melbourne. I had other plans... my first Aussie cache found in VIC and a special trip to Moama to find my second in NSW. This cache was the sole reason for our visit to NSW (this time). I have to admit, not being used to bitey things in NZ (except the sandflies), I was a bit iffy about reaching for this but had as good a look as I could first. In the end I wanted the smilie enough to suck it up and grab the cache. Of course there was nothing bitey there. Such a girls blouse!

Visiting Moama for a family friends wedding, such a beautiful little family area! My partner and I found the cache easily, great find, thank you!
Tftc! I don’t like playground caches, but I did this one in the dark, in some safety. Done with Giggles1610
Found it. Took a while to find it, but when I went back to the GPS find it quite easy.
On our two week Caravanning Trip Over to Mexico and back. Day 8 and we are camping on the edge of the Murray in Echuca, had no idea how huge this town is!! or how friendly the townsfolk are! After browsing in the shops and accidentally buying MORE stuff that we really didn't need for the Caravan, we made our way over to Moama to find a few caches and have a nosey...OMG that Bowling club is Enormous!!! This was a quick find! TFTC
Found by DotG, Did feel a little uneasy here but had the playground been in use "I'm out of here". SL TFTC
YAY. Found on the long long way home from the Mega. Needed an easy drive by and petrol so perfect spot. Loved the engine too. Thanks for the smiley
I found this cache a few years ago with -nirgal- and have returned to put my new name on it.
Visiting Echuca and surrounding areas from Pakenham. Woke up on Friday to a cold and windy but sunny day. After breakfast in Echuca it was time to visit NSW for the second time in my life. I spent an hour over the border before returning.
Stopped for this cache and took a bit before laying hands on the prize.
Thanks GregandJudi

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I usually cache on my own but sometimes I will collect my nephew stinky bob and my brother stinky tom who both enjoy this hobby.
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Not greatly enamoured to playground caches, thankfully no mini people present. Quick find, T4TC
I was traveling up to Northern Vic (well it's north from us) and stopped for a few caches along the way. This one was just what I was looking for, something not far off the road and not something that would take too long to find. Had come across the border just to say I had found a cache in NSW before heading back TFTC
Caching Northern Victoria over the weekend I just had to skip across the river and get one in NSW.
This one was close and looked easy but.....
I am no oil painting (unless you count "Scream"), so a man my age, with my countenance, would look positively creepy loitering around here.
Fortunately the same cold wind that blew the tattered pieces of log sheet around the playground making me scuttle about like a lunatic trying to collect them all also kept all the muggles indoors and away from their phones with fingers poised over the number zero.
TFTC anyway.
I retrieved it all, but the log needs replacing.[^]

We decided to make a quick trip over the border, and this was my first interstate geocache! My phone led me right to it and we were soon signing the log. Thanks
