Wondering if this one has gone walkabout. We sat on the spot, tied our shoelaces a few times, pocked about in the bark, disassembled and re-assembled the 2 picnic benches, examined the concrete block....but alas - couldn't find it hide nor hair of it. Cafe was closed so we couldn't get much further..........

Nice family outing up to Mahurangi West to find some caches. Took photos of kids and scenery while we were there. Absolutely Lovely!!!

It was time for a coffee break, an open cafe and a cache nearby - perfect!

Out trying to finish off my unfounds between Mahurangi and Hatfields Beach.
Was a little uncertain at first on the GZ for this cache but soon ventured forth and met up with the cache owner. Over a coffee had a chat about caching, as you do, in the local area. Great to meet you, Gastromrider. Yes, I did find the other one.

Stopped by and decided that this was a good time for a coffee break. As part of the team was completing the initial sweep of GZ we were muggled by the cache owner, nice to meet you. After some caching chit chat we completed the find and enjoyed the view from GZ while finishing our coffee T4TC.
3993 Was able to use the van as cover to retrieve and returned. An absolutely beautiful day for being out and about! TFTC
Stopped by on my way to the Virtual Island. I've already tried their home made ice creams. They're not open right now though. T4TC - M@

The cache was nice and easy to find but the highlight was the view and the nearby cafe. Great views, great coffee & food and a easy find, a Kevs Team favourite! Met the owner and had a nice chat. Thanks for bringing us here. Swapped TBs.
Out for the day with twins Rebecca and Renee - stopped off at 'Zealandia' just down the road to look at some amazing sculptures and then off to find the cache. The girls had to find the cache before having 'dessert' !! TFTC
Drove in, found out its closed, dont understand that, wouldnt the owner want to make money while the hols are here? Must be pretty slow business in the off season I would have thought, ah well, cache found soon enough, great hide & camo!!
Enjoyed this one, not sure if I would like to do it while the patrons are here in force though, would be a tad difficult, unless of course the owner was in on the deal -;)

Easy find, but busted by the owner, at least he complimented us on our stealth skills, and none of the other patrons were any the wiser. Great views from the cache site.

We felt a bit "exposed" looking for this one, knowing the café owner was talking to some patrons just a few meters away, and could see us... until we remembered the name of the cache owner, saw the bikes parked outside and put 2 and 2 together . Nice to meet you guys!
We had been to the café before so knew it had some excellent views, well worth a stop to get a drink and sample one of the delicious deserts.
Dropped off one of our own travelbugs which has just started its journey and wants to (eventually) travel to Minnesota (USA), so if anyone could help it along on its way that'd be great.

First FTF of the year !
This one popped up just after I woke up, decided to jump in the car with Mrs MM1968 and head off and see if we could bag the FTF. And we did - which was a bit of a surprise as we were a bit slow off the mark.
Once we'd found the cache and claimed the FTF we couldn't help but notice the wonderful smell, so we had to stop and grab some breakfast.... Yum.
