Too far away to look after these days. Its a lovely area & Im pretty sure our caches have introduced a lot of people to the area which was the original intent.
### MAINTENANCE REQUIRED? ###
I notice from recent log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of owner intervention as there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log. It leads one to the contention that the cache container is no longer water proof. Therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
A basic tenet of geocaching is that **the cache log needs to be signed to record a find,** see here: [Logging of All Physical Geocaches](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging). At the moment this would seem to be extremely difficult if not impossible to meet that requirement in regard to this cache.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; ***"if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can."*** see here: [Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance ) and here's how; [Temporarily Disable and Enable,](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) also check out this Blog: [Helpful Tips To Keep In Mind As A Geocache Owner.](http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/)
Please respond to this situation by ** 23rd August** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Unable to sign decomposing log that sees the cache container almost empty.
I needed the hint, because my GPS unit was pointing to the wrong side of the track. The log is very wet and also tattered. Tftc.

Out and about doing some on my must do list.
All was going well until I realised I needed to get to the other side of obstacle. After some rock hopping, found Gz and the cache.
Cheers for the cache

Spiffy- and I are approaching our 4000 and 3000 milestones and after a little persuasion he agreed it would be good to find them at the same cache on the same day - Leap Day. So today I needed 18 caches to get to the same number as him ready for the final assault on the milestone together on Leap Day. Cache found quickly but as per other logs it is jammed full of log sheets. Thanks Melbermans for the cache.
Found while moving youngest son from Nunawading to Doncaster, needed to find a cache with letter K for an alphabet series, and this one fitted the bill nicely, easy to access and locate Log books are squashed into cache with not much room for removing and replacing
Found it! We went for a much needed walk after eating far too much at Yum Cha and found this along the way! I couldn't find it last time I visited as it was missing in action. Quick find today. TFTC SL
Tftc found with the geopartner on a lovely warm Melbourne evening. Mcnugget21 also joined too
Quick find as Mrs B and I passed by. Cache was a tad damp which was surprising given its location.

Out for a walk on a blustery winters afternoon and doing some caching along the way. Initially the GPS was pointing us towards the new paling fence and surrounds but the clue inferred something different. The geowife went off to investigate and quickly found the cache and signed the log. TFTC. As advised by the previous cacher the log book does require some TLC.
Great spot. 2nd find of the afternoon with GeoAuntie. Logbook falling apart. Tftc.
Suscoe was out and about in this area today.
It was a cool and overcast day with low cloud and the occasional drizzle patch here and there.
This was our 2nd find of the day, parked near the kinder then walked while the kinder kids were playing out side and having fun.
Thanks to Melbermans for this placement.
A bit noisy over there!!!!!!!!!

Easy find, the GPS was fairly accurate and there it was. Signed the log and replaced the container.
Out caching with Morcs4 for the morning, getting some exercise, walking the dog and chatting. We kind of went off road here, and followed some tracks up near the highway and up and down before finding the path again. I loved the trees that had been tagged with the names of locals, and Morcs4 and I added our own tags. Morcs4 found this one. Thanks for the cache.
Met up with Vanessa from Vanessa&Aodh after changing our geocaching get together several times. She has a new job so will not be able to do this midweek anymore.
I found as Vanessa continued to make final arrangements for new job. Nice quick one. We found a section of the track that had little tags on all the trees with peoples names on it. There was a plastic ziplock bag with more blank ones and a texta. So we did one each. I think it might be something the kinder did, maybe. Cool though. TFCT

TFTC melbermans. Nice cache in a nice walk with Noelle04 and family with 2 puppies towing us.
Taking doggies for walk with son & daughter in law. Quick find on great Easter SundayTFTC
Found with Benny d, pretty clever, like others have said, use a stick, there's plenty around, TFTC
Found it!! Compass wasn't very helpful, but not too hard to find. Use a stick to get it. Thanks to whoever hid it. That was pretty smart.
Second cache in this area today. Found quickly, log look longer to extract and sign. TFTC!
Out for an evening of caching with 4evatinks. Found the cache quickly thanks to the hint. The nearby tree was flowering and the smell of pollen was overpowering. SL & replaced.
TFTC.
TFTC.
Clever hide with nice clue that ended up meaning more than I first thought. Out on a night hunt with ribinyang and enjoyed this reserve aling the eastlink. Got a very strange look from a dog walking muggle while we signed log away from gz. Log does need replacing. Tftc.
Good to get out for post dinner stroll with 7yo...that's a nice track to explore. spent way too much time looking on the wrong side of the track... almost gave up looking. Must say after approx 10 cache finds the scrunched up logbooks in tiny cache tins are getting a tad cumbersome. Anyway' TFTC.
This was the 4th for todays walk. It is a beautiful area with a lot less muggles on bikes than on the northern path. TFTC.
Easy find with knudders TFTC

Found it! Someone had put it up about 4 meters high. Nothing a long branch couldn't fix though.
What an amazing effort some of the home owners have gone to in providing such attractive border gardens on the path. Thanks for the cache and for showing me this area.
Out for a little geocaching after work.
Nice area for a walk on a pleasant summers afternoon.
Thanks for the cache Melbermans
