Gorgeous spring day to head up to this lookout. A couple of muggles about, one lot running!!Amazing view at this time of year Quick find by my companion. Nice find!TFTC
Out this morning with Byker tackling a few more caches on the Warbies. Great day out, even the BYO ladder ones were enjoyable with the rickety old ladder Byker had borrowed. Finished off the day highlight was the end of the day caching along Spring Creek.
After the hike to Shepherds Hut we ended up back at the car to take to correct track to Pangarang lookout awesome little hike with great views of the west. A FP awarded, TFTC!

Out with LLRPP exploring the Warby Ranges, what a beautiful place. The views are amazing. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Definitely over a 4 km return walk and climb up to the cache and spectacular views. Saw many xanhthereas, (not correct spelling) TFTC
About 2.2km out to the lookout from car park
How coords were spot on, quick find and a beautiful view

Beautiful lookout, the walk here was a bug extravaganza. Coordinates were spot on. Thanks for the cache
Another hidden gem in the Warby's, and a stunning view at GZ of the canola in full bloom on this magnificent spring day, walkers and riders all enjoying the track, TFTC chewinprickles
Great spot. Another place I had not been. Looking to walk the trails in the Warbys as much as possible. Get some caches and maintain the fitness. TFTC.
This was our last cache of the day and despite spending most of the day hanging out of trees to get them, this one certainly provided the best views.
As we set off for the summit, we made sure we took plenty of lighting for the return trip, but despite watching the sun setting from GZ, we made it back to the car before needing torches.
TFTC Chewinprickles, my very last fav for this ripper view I shared with catnap777. [^]
It was very romantic. [:X]

After spending the morning climbing trees with locus cache, dalerious and I headed off to do a couple of trads, and this was one of them. We undertook this journey late in the afternoon which produced perfect lighting for some awesome pictures. The walk up to the lookout was interesting, with so much to see; the view being spectacular on most of the walk, not just up the top. Thank you Chewinprickles for bringing us here. Cache found in good condition.
Found by edmil & Maddie @1:05pm.
Nice warm walk from the car, a couple of km as there are no vehicles allowed on the track.
Great views from the area. Had the cache in hand in no time once at GZ. No swap made but log sifned and returned to hide. TFTC

Challenging hike using the direct path from the car park to the location! Worth it though
Finally got a chance to go for a walk today and grab a cache or two. It's been a few months off going bush walking and today l made the most of having an hour or two free to go out and explore this neck of the woods. Just dropped the kids off at school and grabbed a coffee and headed to the hills with no real set idea of where to head but ended up out this way. Parked at the bottom o f the track and noticed some one had written with a black market 1 hour return. Hmm one hour, no stress, been a while since l last put on my hiking boots but was determined to see if that was achievable. Enjoyed a easy enough walk though the area and the maintenance track provided good guide with plenty of room right up to the lookout. Just a short detour and with good co-ord's and a specific hint the cache was quickly in hand. Well worth a fave from me for the hike in and the views from gz. Thanks for the cache and for highlighting this area.

TIGERS Vs GIANTS
Enough of that footy stuff though. I set of for a walk in the afternoon to escape the football!
The day was perfect for this easy walk with Cass. I was hopeful to finally turn this cache into a smiley after several failed attempts. Arriving at GZ the grass and weeds have grown thick, and the gps was bouncing me around for a while. I decided to put it away and have a scratch around instead. (Very cautious of what might be hiding in the cracks!)
After a couple of minutes the cache was located and we sat and enjoyed the view for a while. Well I did, Cassie played happily with all the little swag items!
Thanks for the cache!

Beautiful views, seems to be a couple more written logs then online logs. Replaced the way I found
This was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache

Last time I was here the cache was missing, so I’m still yet to find it. It’s a real shame the recent fire claimed the big old tree on the summit. It’s burnt all up inside and under.
This one may have been destroyed in the bushfire - I hope the great old tree has survived!
A bit longer than 3klm kids weren't impressed lol! But the view at the top is well worth the walk. Cache found quickly, log signed and cache replaced in hiding spot. A great walk but definitely allow 2 hours for return walk if taking young kids
We were having a marvellous day out hiking through a portion of the Warbys with the MVB, and being led by the map reading skills of Bingley3683, and we rocked up to here right on lunch time. So after a quick look at the view, it was packs down, and all the cachers in the group were heads down, backsides up searching all over the GZ area, with the walking members of the group having many chuckles and taking photos of the spectacle, then after a lengthy search, the cry of "found it!" went up with Mrs Bushtrakkers coming up with the very well hidden cache, then we all signed our lives away, and then had a well earned lunch break...before the very visible rain in the distance turned up.
Thanks chewin for the nice cache with a great view of the area.

Out on an adventure with Team MVB, Skullracing and Bingley3683. Arrived at GZ and the search began with everyone checking all the possible hidey holes and rechecking the same spots just to make sure the other cacher hadn't missed it. Finally the cache revealed its self from its well concealed location. With log signed, it was now time to check out the spectacular view and have some lunch. TFTC
I was there too, scratching away and trying to remember where it was 5 years ago - luckily Ms Bushtrakkers was more persistent than anyone else. A great spot, wonderful views of the rain coming over the plains..... TFTC
Threw the treadly in the back of the geocar and enjoyed a short ride to the lookout this evening. Concentrated on one particular spot but was reluctant to stick ones hand in there, used the camera, used a stick to poke around but no cigar this evening. With the sun over the horizon it was time to concede and head back. Thanks anyway howjen567, a top spot to watch the sun set.
Sorry it took me so long but this one is now back on line. Replaced the cache today.
Went for a walk in the park today and ended up at GZ. Similarly to Bingley I spent a bit of time searching around but couldn't find anything. Seems like it could've gone walkabout.
Spent well over half an hour here looking in all the likely places and it is definitely gone. CO to check?
Looked everywhere and couldnt find it. Had a great ride down the rocky track on my bike though. So it wasnt a wasted trip.
Easy walk for some lol kids found it on a beautiful spring day. Trees to the left of us fields of gold to the right.
Great cache, easy little walk in the bush nice and green up there at this time of the year didn't take long to find the cache , excellent view's .
Amazing how the tree is forcing the rock apart .
cheers tftc chewinprickles

Today was just an amazing day, great weather, stacks of wildlfowers out and lots of birds in the Warby's for a change. This was a fantastic walk in to the lookout for the cache, and well worth a favourite point. Lots of photos were taken on the way ... TFTC chewinprickles
That tree alone is worth a favourite. Loved the walk which is 4.6 km return but generally fairly gentle. Enjoyed noticing the various vegetation communities and how they changed. No animals in sight early this morning but signs of kangaroos echidnas wombats and foxes in evidence fantastic views at the lookout. Well worth the walk just to enjoy them, but cache a definite bonus. Thanks for giving me an excuse to do this walk chewinprickles
Found easily without hint or description. Wonderful views, great little walk, outstanding wildflowers. Wonderful tree. TFTC.
Had a fantastic day with my friends, enjoying the country side and the view. Fantastic location.
A days' riding in the Warby's with Bettyboo3747, finishing up in Wang.
I have walked out here before, but today we decided to take the deadly treadlies. The track was good for the bikes, for the first couple of kilometres, but a bit of a nasty end to it.
The view was excellent, and the tree was very special.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2845. Making a concerted attack on some Warby Range caches today, riding and walking with Robmc. Another of the ones we attempted by bicycle. I ditched mine towards the end and walked as it got a bit steep and rocky. Great views in many directions from here, I was impressed. Loved the tree surrounded by its many rocks too. A favourite point from me. TFTC chewinprickles.
Three of us made our way out to Pangerang from Boweya. Two on horseback and one walking. It took us approx 10 minutes of checking what was below our feet and above our heads before we found the cache. An excellent spot and a great cache.
Wow first for this year! I liked this area 20 years ago when I made an orienteering map of it. Great views today and quick find. And passed 8 or so Beechworth prisoners (and a guard) walking in when I was walking out..... strange....TFTC

A beautiful clear day for a walk. Brought my dad up to enjoy the scenery. Upon arrival at GZ, had sone trouble locating the cache, and made a quick FAF. earlier logs highlight muggle activity worried me a bit as three of us searched for 20 mins and had yet come up empty handed. As is always the way, we were packing up to leave when I spotted one last hidey hole and BAM! nicely hidden! TNLN TFTC.

Great lookout spot. Haven't been this far west in the Warbies before. Nice.
Cache has been found by quite a few muggles recently who have been nice enough to mark the log and replace in position. Hidden with a bit more camo.

Awesome you really cant get much better than this being in the middle of the wilderness like this with a camera, a GPS,a view like this and a cache at the end. Although we do have abit of a tale to tell.At first we found ourself driving through a cherry farm thinking this really cant be right but you never know (lol)untill we reached the farms fenceline.Anyway we found our way back to the parking coords and began a great walk to GZ enjoying the bush and its surrounds alot.It took us about 45 mins to reach GZ where the cache was located quickly and the log signed and the container bought down to the sign for a picture or two.We then started to head back stopping a little further along for the kids to climb a tree and the dog to rest. Then the fun began, the dashchund got the scent of something and took off!! We then spent the next 20 mins searching and calling with no joy.We could here him barking but it was echoing so we where unsure where he was exactly.I suggested we leave and begin the walk back to the car inn the hope he followed the scent back there. It was then the kids began to panic and the tears began to flow!.I made a quick call home and Glenn headed out in the magna to further the search before dark.We had just about made it back to the car when the magna appeared around the track corner in we jumped,we made it all the way back and there was Ruff sitting at the top of the lookout looking pretty freaked out.Alls well that ends well, and it was much quicker in the car but definately not as nice. Thanks for an eventfull afternoon and for bringing us to this lovely spot Chewinprickles.

One of 17 found for the day on a family caching trip to the Wangaratta area. Took James and Jasmine for the long walk to and from this one. had really wanted to do it for a while, but misread the distances, and thought it was 3.5 kms each way...! Had a pleasant hour and a bit walk to and from GZ. The view from the lookout was fantastic and after finding the cache, took a few pics. Ended up piggy backing the kids in turn on the way back to the car. Thanks for bringing me to this sensational spot. TFTC.
Last cache for the day.We saw a big wallaby on the way up to GZ.The only wildlife we've seen today. He must have been deaf not to have heard the kids either that or he just wasn't scared.I think I read at the beginning of the walk it was 2.3KMs to the lookout it must be 1.5Ks as the crow flies.Enjoyed the walk and the beautiful view. Thanks for bringing us here.
Out & about with DJ Rascal on a warm summers day!
Another nice trip to GZ and were rewarded with some nice views. A really interesting tree growing near GZ.
Many thanks again Chewinprickles for showing us another top spot.

Enjoyed the views for a bit before turning back and heading for home. Was amazed at the tree growing at Gz, would make a great photo. Coords were spot on and cache was found with no drama. Thanks for the orbs, I mean cache. Cheers.
Found at 10.10am. Congratulations Splittie-o on your 1st FTF. Today is sunny and humid. Lots of kangarooas seen on the way up to the lookout. We have been up here a few times BC but TFTC chewinprickles to give us another reason to re-visit and enjoy the view. Left: bracelet, aboriginal flag sticker (to honour the Pangarang tribe) and echidna. TNSL. P.S. - We got evacuated from our camping holiday on the Great Ocean Rd on the 12th Jan., so thought we would find a few new caches around home whilst still on holidays.
what a wet and windy night in the warby's, branches across the track everywhere, very adventuresome . very happy but somewhat surprised to get my 1st ftf as this had been posted for a few days. hadn't been to this part of the park before and enjoyed it very much . ta chewinprickles for your two caches i discovered this morning . tnln .
