### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there hazey1,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

I knew the last few logs said the cache wasn’t found to had some time up my sleeve so decided to see if I could find it. I was pretty confident I was in the right place based on previous notes.
I suspect I know where it should be hiding but no luck from me.
I suspect I know where it should be hiding but no luck from me.
I last had a go at this around three years ago. This time around, it was much the same. 20-30 mins of lurking about being barked at and inspecting the trees with the feeling as though neighboring residents were looking on wondering what on earth these people were doing...
It doesn't bother me when I don't find the cache, but when it becomes no longer fun and perhaps a waste of time looking for a nano that may not even be there, it becomes a negative geocaching experience for me. A lovely spot. CO might want to check it given the DNFs.

Looked for about 20 mins. So much dead tree fodder laying around. Not sure which tree although the map indicates the large pine tree 2nd one in.
Sadly we had to report DNF after hunting high and low still couldn't find after 45min (
GPS gave a clear indication of a tree of interest BUT nothing obvious.. admittedly I had forgotten to not size... so perhaps we missed it..
DNF for me today.
My GPS was pointing to about 15 meters in the paddock, so I tried searching all the local trees.
I suspect which tree, and what I was looking for, but after 30 minutes looking, no luck and I'm now running late.
Thanks anyway
Hunter

Found today with KezShan .. the cache was buried under deadfall.. So we put it back a more secure place.. the log is full but managed to find a gap .... the local dogs weren't happy with us TFTC
Found with skylizard 99.
Was caught out by the fact we thought we were looking for a nano, but this was bigger, after much searching, found it where it was exposed, moved back to it’s obvious place. Very cold day to be out with barking dogs but nice little spot

A lot of recent earth moving activity around the dam with many limbs removed from trees around the gz. Might well be worth checking if this one is still where it should be.
We spent a long time looking in the wrong tree but found it in the end. Cool cache!
Now doing this cache was very much in order to get the souvenir that was released for today, and even thought this cache had nothing that was really attracting me to it. Only the fact that is was within grasp from work that was the final incentive. So off I went to go and grab this cache, parking was easily found and I was soon off then down to the cache I went. GZ was found with no problem, and then around and around I went to find this sneaky cache, but with 2minutes searching the little treasure was found and I went on my way. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

Great spot! While one geokid decided to have some fun in the tree, it took a while to find the cache itself as our GPS was a bit jumpy today. Luckily, it was eventually spotted from a distance. Signed log and put back as found. Brilliant cache! TFTC, Brainiac03
The barking dogs were definitely a pain in the bum as I approached gz for this cache. It took a couple of minutes to make the find, then I quickly headed off to hopefully avoid unwanted attention. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Another cold, wet, wintery day. Parked at the end of Cobb Road and walked back up through Sally Close towards GZ. And that's when the dogs started. And when one starts, they all start!
Pressing ahead, I found the magnificent pine tree, located the nano very easily, signed the log and returned as found before heading up to the watering hole. Greeted here by a much more friendlier and quieter group (refer photo). Certainly is a childhood oasis
Exit was via Riviera Close. Many thanx to Hazey1, no thanx to the barking dogs!

Out and about placing a couple of caches that geowife and I have been working on we decided to grab a couple of finds on the peninsula as well.
This one was actually a really quick find.
Thanks hazey1.

Pretty quiet walking into the area. I don't recall hearing any dogs at all. Surely I had the right tree/s, but couldn't find anything except a dodgy looking mushroom. Sorry hazey1.

An odd little oasis indeed tucked away in among the large properties around here. I came past just the other day on another caching mission but didn't have time to stop here. Lunchtime today it was all clear of muggles as I parked up and strolled in to GZ. The GPS guided me towards a likely hiding spot and I was lucky enough to spot this one pretty quickly. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache hazey1 and for bringing me to this spot.

Found it! Beautiful lil area, shame about all the over compensating eyes sore 'houses' surrounding it
Dad found after a bit of searching. Cool tree and beautiful spot. No pen so this will have to do for the log. TFTC.
Nice one. Almost didn't find it. Talk about wood-ducks.
Looks like many happy days spent playing here.
Thanks. And barking dogs...oh my.

Looks like you had fun back then lots of nails in the tree and some timber on the ground 1st Cache this outing with our Geodog.
About time i made an effort to get this one....No Dogs barking today all very quiet.TFTC
Good find. I found the tree and remembered did not have to climb it. So I took my time looking around tried a couple of hunches completely wrong so patiently tried the tree properly and hey presto found it. Good camouflage . I loved the area but did not see the watering hole straight away. I can see how as a child this would be a favourite place to play. TFTC
What a great place to play growing up. Junior Geo and i looked for ages and nearly gave up. Thanks for bringing us here. Reminds me of the farm I grew up on.
I can see what everybody means about the dogs. They certainly wake the neighbourhood. Great little place you had to play when you were younger. Would have loved a little oasis like this when I was younger. Thanks for bringing us here hazey1. SL. TNLN.
I came to GZ and looked for a while. At one point I was looking directly at the cache but didn't see it, but I eventually I spotted it. This is a very clever hide. Thanks for showing me this little dam which I had never known about until now. TFTC.
The sun was setting as we parked at the end of the court. We knew that time was against us and the rain wasn't far off. Still we took the long way around in an effort to avoid the much mentioned canines however it was not to be. No sooner were we at GZ than the dogs started. As soon as we saw the old pine we had an idea about what we might be looking for. A quick look didn't reveal the cache so a more methodical approach was embarked upon. Patience and perseverance paid off. TFTC
A fun cache - took a little while, given the clever hide. Both logs full so left small strip of paper. TFTC & the hunt
The nearest house owners (barking dogs !!) seem to be "in the know" & appreciate GC visits during daylight hours. Seems that said hounds have acute hearing & bark 'after hours' as well !

Great cache Dad and I were riding our bikes around in the rain and found the cache in a couple of Minutes thought it would be hard but it was a great cache!!!!!
GREAT HIDE! )

Good hide! So close to our house and until now were totally unaware of the lake and beautiful surrounds. Log seems to be full of entries.

There was a sense of de ja vu as we set out with Liz & Bruce today. Just prior to the 2012 Mega we spent a day caching together in this area and today much of the conversation is around our plans for the Murray Bridge Mega.
Our arrival at the parking spot immediately set off multiple barking alarms. Kind words failed to calm them as we passed by and it certainly seemed that the longer we looked - the louder they barked! Eventually we returned to the spot where the GPS'r initially reccommended and eagle eyed Bruce spied the prize. Satillites today initially had our GZ 8m south east but had settled down to 4m when we found the cache.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to hazey1 for the hunt.

Out with Phetlerns today in a lovely part of Victoria. We have visited this area once before we Phetlerns but still plenty of caches for us to seek to get a smiley. This was one we targetted and found. Nice one. Thanks to hazey1.
Oh my. The dogs scared me off making such a noise at 6:30am. I'll be back when dog barking is less likely to wake people!
I can see how this would have been a nice place once. Before the dogs moved in.
It took us two barking attempts but we found it eventually.
The geokid sniffed it out.
Thanks hazey1.

Sneaky little hide! So clever. I set all of the dogs in the area off barking not just the lot at the rear. TFTC SL
Had to be very quiet but as I was leaving the dogs all started barking giving me away. TFTC SL
Out & about with Nut bear and this is one cache we have wanted to do for soooo long but the logs about the dogs has meant we have put it off. (We have both had a few scary moments in the past with dogs.)
We used every stealth trick we knew, except for levitation. Well it must have worked because not one dog was heard, we even resorted to sign language instead of our usual way of communicating. Once at GZ the search was intense & quite quick with the very well hidden cache found in only a couple of minutes. Just lucky I guess.
Thanks hazey1 for the cache and the fun we had finding it.

Out for a cache or two with BorisB&Natasha. Thought it was about time I finally ticked this one off the list. After a short stealthy walk to GZ the search was on. Had only been looking for a couple of minutes when Natasha made the find. Thanks hazey1 for the cache.
after a short walk to G.Z. and about 20 mins playing now you see me now you don't with the local dogs I found it very well hidden micro. glad I took the time to give it more than one look. T.F.T.C
Down at my sons house for another reno's weekend and having a break to stretch the legs. Fed the co ords into tom tom which lead me down all these unmade roads only to find that I could have cruised all the way in on fully sealed ones. Parked at the end of the court which seemed to set the dogs off. Owners did not seem to worry as they made no attempt to control them. Got to gz and and scratched my head for a little while when something caught my eye. Excellent hide hazey1. Signed off and waded back through the grass while the dogs were still barking. Nice little spot here and some lovely homes.
Thanks for the cache hazey1

In the Frankston area with Lachb, LouiseAnn and Quiet1_au we decided to stop on our way back up the coast and find this cache. Fortunately we had a large group as we could split up and cover a wide area. Initially I noticed and platform some way up the tree and thought I was in for a climb - but no. LouiseAnn eventually found the very well concealed cache. Thanks hazey1

At a recent puzzle solving get together, Quiet1_au, loch_b and I worked away on the Vectors series until we had solved them. Since it was a group effort, we decided we should head down and pick them up together. After a few failed efforts, and the Iron man event getting in the way, we finally managed this task today. We also had 2/3 of GJMMelb along for the ride.
We picked this cache up, at 04:07pm. Choosing the northern car park, we trooped down to the cache. I really left like I was walking in people back yards, and apparently the dogs on the nearby property agreed with me. They were not impressed. We all milled around for a while and various theories on how the cache would be hidden were discussed. I was able to locate the simple but very effective hide in the end.
Thanks for the cache hazey1.

Am I glad that we did this one in a group of 5 - and that LouiseAnne found the cache! I've been searching for caches in similar locations in the past, and given up in frustration. TFTC
Out on a group caching outing on the peninsula, I suggested we give this one a go. I had thought it might involve a tree climb but was pleased to find I was mistaken (as was GJMMelb our usual climber no doubt ) A long and thorough search ensued, the GPSs were all over the place so we spread our attention until LouiseAnn finally found the sneaky little hide. TFTC
This one was our nemesis - two previous failed attempts - so this time we went at night with DarkyP. Those blinking dogs just wouldn't shut up!!! The key to this one truly was persistence - I actually had guessed the means of the hide - it was just a matter of locating it. Was. Very pleased to have this in hand and also pleased to get away from the dogs. There are some nasty spiders around at the moment!!!
Zombieodgs was complaining to me about not being able to find this cache. Apparently it's downright difficult, and almost impossible at night! Well, like a red rag to a bull, I immediately suggested we go out right now and grab it! We only had time for one cache this evening, and this had to be it!
So, off we toddled. The park was deserted. Ripper! But, just when we thought we had the park to ourselves, the Doggy Chorus started up. And boy, are they energetic! We felt a little awkward continuing our search, particularly knowing that the dog's owners were keeping an eye on us.
Nonetheless, plenty of patience and searching eventually turned up trumps! Yay! Signed, replaced it carefully, and wandered off into the night, with the sounds of the Doggy Chorus still ringing in our ears.
Thanks for the cache!

Started out with only birdsong whispering breezes but soon the doggies joined the chorus.
Jcodys persistent poking in all corners paid off after 10 minutes.

An impromptu caching run was had by Kay and Tee after a morning at Casey Fields watching Cee playing cricket. We headed across to Carrum Downs before venturing south to pick up a few DNF's from previous runs and a few new caches. We ended up down at Somers on this marvelous day before heading home via Mornington for a dinner then home. 5.5 hours and 21 caches!! not a bad effort we say.
After navigating the windy roads around Mt Eliza we came to one of the courts and proceeded to GZ on foot, what a great position!!!!!! The search was on for young and old. Tee was the successful finder, Kay signed log and we were off. Kay noticed if she was a kid again, the house that joins the park on the court that their driveway would be ace to ride down and then back up again on a scooter or skate board . Tee could only agree with a wistful look in his eye. TFTC

Found on our second attempt. The first time was on the way home from kinder with a very tired and hungry toddler. Not really the best time for a cache with a hide that needed some calm thought and strategy to locate.
This time however, we came armed with snacks; and another essential team member who is much more patient and observant than I. The very cleverly concealed cache was soon in hand.

Another huge TDC / RA alliance caching night. Headed down to meet up with the crew which included Trailrunning and Rebel Acts for the night. Quasar3671 was heading north to Cairns for a road trip to view the total eclipse. We ended up with a huge haul for the night with nearly 50 finds, but soured by 3 DNF's. With bikes on board, we cleared the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens and did some other bike caching. Great fun. The night was geared to a general cleanup of the Mornington Peninsula, which we did. An awesome night of caching with some great caches found in both day and night.
Took a little while to find this one, but eventually did, a very well hidden cache. TFTC.

You just have to love Cup Day holiday being on a Tuesday, especially if your main caching night is a Monday night. This can only mean one thing, a huge night of caching! I had spent the morning with my girlfriend at the cinema, before the appointed meeting with Blacklegend and RebelActs later in the early afternoon. Our other team member, Quasar3671 was heading north to Queensland for the second time in two weeks, to clean up the power trails up there, so it was just the three of us tonight. So we based our caching area on one location we knew Q3 had cleared. We had also planned to grab caches that can only be found legally during daylight hours, so we packed the cars with our bikes and headed south to the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens. With the first 17 caches found in under an hour (love those bush mountain biking adventures) we headed south from there all the way down to Mornington. I’m pretty sure we visited about 56 caches for the night and my personal total was 51 finds. There were a few DNF’s which took a bit of time out of the run, but we were pretty sure the caches were not there and a RM will be logged for each of them. With such great company, why wouldn’t you be out caching at night in such warm weather? Thanks again to each and every CO for their efforts. GZ had us searching the wrong trees, but we soon thought about the logical answer and Marshy had the cache soon in his hands. Thanks
What a fantastic place this would have been to play in as a kid! On a day trip with abl973, we made an early start and were at GZ before any sign of muggles in the area. After a little looking we got lucky and found this cleverly hidden cache. Thanks hazey1 for the cache.
2/09/12 8:16 AM Find #1228 This has been the first day out caching in a while where the weather has been fantastic - Spring has started very nicely. Today Square Pegs and I are on a mission out from Melbourne to Mt Eliza and back. This was our first find for the day and at this time of the morning there was no one about which made for a quick find. Thanks Hazey1.

Found with Roostaman on a big day out caching around the area. It sure was wet in this area, I guess sometime you get lucky on this type of needle in the haystack hide. TFTC
Found with Rebel Acts on another nice day for a caching run around the area.
This was a slippery trek to GZ after the recent weather. The tricky hide almost had us beaten,
but Rebel located it in its nice safe place. TFTC,

Now they were some loud dogs!
Interesting place to visit, we could see kids up that tree.
Shame about the pond though, we walked through more water than there was in the pond.
('\(OoO)/') Thanks for the caching fun!

Found it on Saturday. Well hid. Nice little oasis even if it is a bit swampy. Was a bit concerned that the dogs would jump the fence and come after us but I knew Nufrat and Bexta could handle them while I run to the car.
Thanks hazey1

Our 2nd find on our cache raid of the Mornington Peninsula, with Nufrat and Gruntassms. Took us a while to find this cleverly concealed cache. The dogs were barking like mad, and I was quite thankful of the fence between us and them. TFTC
A nice evening walk with Dicksontwo. I have been meaning to hide a cache to my childhood forest but as I moved away, the distance to maintain the cache would be too long. The hut in the tree has been quite up high! Thanks for showing this nice location.
Searched for ages but to no avail. I wish those dogs would shut up!
Couldnt resist climbing the tree probably the best climbing tree I have seen!

What better way to celebrate Australia Day than to go out caching on a beautiful sunny day.

520. Not an oasis of the finding a cache type today. Neither the Garmin or the Magellan would settle down at all and we kept vacillating between trees to no avail.
GPS reception a little sketchy under the trees took us to a tree that looks like nano cache heaven (a dead old tree riddled with holes). I wont say whether we found it there or not. TFTC. Found with jamurchie and Debs22
TFTC! Found with murch1 and debs22. 7th cache for the day. Love the spot and the back story. Dogs came and greeted us as we were leaving. TNLNSL
LOVED IT!!!
Collected this one while out with jamurchie and murch1.
As with all nanos patience was needed and really only found by jamurchie. (In my defence I was to busy looking up and imagining building my own fort).
Found the gps to be useful as more of a guide and not to exactly pin point the location.

Continuing on our quest to find a cache a day to see how long we can keep it up for and hoping to get to 500 days this was day 476. Mrs Crackers made a detour on her way home from work in Mornington and it was easy to let the imagination run wild about all the different ways that the kids could have used the area years ago. With all the ridiculous rules and regulations today it's a wonder that kids are still allowed to play in these open areas but today there were none here to hamper the search, they were all probably inside playing computer games instead. We are one of those teams that are not over keen on nano's as they appear to be everywhere now but with a little bit of thought there are still some like this that are quite an enjoyable find.
