Logs
Thought we would give it a go despite the last couple of logs. There has been a bit of a clear out so it might pay for bitsprayer to confirm its current existence.
After eventually finding the required access to this seemingly remote cache I walked through footy training to GZ. However, when I got there and turned over all the logs that I could find I didn't spy any cache. I see nobody has found it for quite some time
2nd DNF today, looked and looked-saw in the logs there had been problems in the past.??
I did get a funny look as I ran past the caretakers wee sleepout and down to the back field to retrieve the nice easy cache. TFTC. Cheers Bo
Found It
Easy find after long walk from Rugby Club car park lucky the grass was dry. SL TFTC

4191. We drove all around the area looking for a way into the grounds. Once we found the entrance the gate was open and we could drive a fair way in before a quick walk across the field to the find the cache.
Thanks

A little wander before tea as Fri is our last day and we have to leave early in the morning.
Not good find took us some time.

It was quite wet and damp walking down here today. Cache container had gone, it was just a plastic bag under the log. Cheers Gav [10034]
easy to find although the container is completely missing so just a plastic bag with the log book in it now- log is still nice and dry so signed it anyway
Good walk across the rugby fields. Took a while to find the entrance/ Only book and plastic bag left.
Alas, the container for this one was missing - but the plastic bag and logbook are still in place and in great condition.
Pleased to be on our bikes to get this as would have been a long walk, came in from a good angle so got this quickly. TFTC
The hardest part of this cache was finding the entrance to Manchester Park! (Wall St). Then a lengthy walk along the rugby fields to a fairly quick find. TFTC
Nice quick drive to - mind you if there is a game on, such a visit may not be so easy!
Took a walk on the wild side this morning, wish I had thought of driving to it would have saved wet feet!. Noone on the fields so the search went well with no interruptions.

Finally got the FTF with kelly_maree and GPSmith. Got initially thrown off by taking the wrong street back tracked a bit, then recognized street from years ago. TFTC!
FTF with kelly_maree and walgl339.
Stoked to get a FTF after missioning up from Dunedin for that purpose, and being beaten to the first four caches we found tonight. This one marks my first FTF since 2006, fifth cache of the day, and 300th cache overall. Many thanks.

I definately celebrated the shared FTF with caching buddies GPSmith and walgl339 - the bulls came running when I was doing a little jump and shout for joy
Once we figured how to get in where we needed to go, it was a reasonably easy find.

Six new caches in Waimate definitely warranted a slight change in today's itinerary. Bit of mixed sucess however, couldn't even find access to this one.
