Loved the creativity of this one, we were almost about to give up until we spotted him. Thank you
A straightforward find while completing a nearby AL waypoint that took 20 minutes to get to. A couple of cache finds while at it was a nice bonus. Thanks for the hide wingaap and Orange Crew.
Really cool little cache here. Live the name and creativity.Nice little trek too. TFTC!
Tftc. Awesome cache. A little climbing involved. Glad I had my grandson with me.
Second find for the morning. Mum rolled her ankle and rolled around in the shrubs for a moment. Cache was located on the ground, popped back into place. TFTC, found with mugglemum10.
Very neat cash. I appreciate the work gone into it. Found 09/09/23 4:35pm with bryce3515.

4:35 09/09/2023 gum gum This was a fun one I really enjoyed after I built up the courage to climb the dirt mounds. We were looking in so many places until I read the cache name again and said it would have to be on a gum tree. Well it was next to one loved spotting it TFTC TFTF found with DL197 Bryce3515 & Zojo

An easy park and grab, ghostly find. Appreciate the effort that went into creating this cache. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
It's mothers day so what did I ask for? A morning of geocaching. Very creative. Quick find.
We had a plan today to pick up as many well favourited caches as possible and if they included Wingaap placed caches then all the better. So off to the Crown at Dayboro and work our way home. Had a great park and grab experience coming home.
This easy to find cache certainly lived up to its name. Thanks for the journey down Gold Scrub Lane and the cache.

Came to Dayboro for 2 nights to use our 2 week old slide on caravan for the second time. Thought we’d get a trip in before Easter.
Thanks wingaap for the awesome cache and Orange Crew for maintaining the cache. A favourite from us as well.

Orange Crew I found your cache Ghost Gums on 1/4/2023, 2:00 pm. This is my find 4915 and find # 20 today. Found it after a brief search. Very well thought out and constructed. A favourite from me. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
A couple of things surprised me about this cache, I will admit. Firstly, the size of the container doesn't befit the recipient of the dedication...there's quite a difference. Secondly, I was expecting to find the cache on a 'gum' tree. Not so in this case.
Fair to say Ghost Gums and I have shared some caching time together. Many days, many trips, many events and a few escapades. We have cached together in five states and four countries. Hmm, not bad stats.
The container was located nice and quickly this morning and my name added to the log. Another find Wingaap creation and very clear who is was crafted for. A FP from me for the handywork.
Thanks to Wingaap for the original cache creation and placement and to Orange Crew for keeping it in the game. Much appreciated.

Out on a solo run this beautiful Sunday morning.
Due to the Valentine's addition of seeing the favourite points next to the cache, it kept me curious to see what it is all about.
This cache was on my list to find.
Good job, love it.
Definitely a favourite point.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining.

out and about in samford on new years day, with a few target caches and a focus on old wingaap ones. love the themed containers and the effort gone into making them.
Getting learner driver hours with the eldest. Got all the way out here for these three caches and realized I forgot my handbag in the city and nothing of use in the car. Scratched an x with a stick Sorry Love the designs. Tftc!
Staying in Dayboro for a while. Theres definitely no being bored. Weve been tucked inside solving as many puzzles as possible and using lifelines to get help when we hit a brick wall. Today we headed out to convert a couple of smilies. Big day out 44/51. Lots of overgrowth after the recent rains all making for some challenging caching today.

Making a day of wingaap caches. Nabbed this one. Such a friendly litttle ghosty.
Last cache of this ‘set’ for us today as we must now get on our way. But we enjoyed finding this cache in honour of Ghost Gums and signed and dated the log. Thanks again for your creativity Wingaap. We have enjoyed finding each of these caches.
Cheers and happy caching!

TFTC. We had stopped nearby for a spot of lunch. Had a wander around the cemetery before getting back on the road to Dayboro. We completed the short drive to the main triad by finding the three caches along the way. We appreciated the cache hide.
We made the decision to spend another week at the Dayboro showgrounds to give ourselves the opportunity to find more of the many caches that have been placed in the area. Finally the rain has nearly become non existent and bar for one short heavy burst it has been a rain free day. The area is still showing signs of all the rain we have had recently with the creek flowing fast and in places the roads are covered. We found all of the caches that we attempted today but one. SL TFTC
Dayboro Day, Final Day
Today we chose to retrace our tracks to look for caches we had passed previously
The finds were mostly along backroads. It's always good caching in the country.
This also included a drive to Lake Samsonvale to complete the AL
Thankyou wingaap for placing this cache.

Today with Day 3 of the Dayboro Mega event (final Easter weekend day), I returned back to Dayboro to attempt a solo yet full day of finding the various solved *Geosaurus* and *We* ?? *Geo* geoart, as well as any other interesting cache types. Time was spent south around Samsonvale, north-east around Mount Pleasant, and east around Rush Creek. The rain continued to fall, but it came in patches that still allowed some pleasant geocaching, yet somehow the rain knew when I was farthest from the car, for which it then fell heavily. I met a few more Geocachers during the day, and as I finally lost light, it was time for the final closing ceremony of the Mega, and an opportunity to get dry from the day's activities.
During my travels around the vicinity, I made a stop here, and the cache was a reasonably quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. This was such a great cache construction, that it was worthy of a Favourite Point from me! Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Offered a spare seat on a roadtrip with The Rats and Wilbert67 to the Dayboro Mega, jumped at the chance to accept, and together with Steeba (who flew up), we joined forces to become “the Gong Gang” over the Easter weekend. Aside from the rain and threats of last minute border restrictions, it turned into 2500km of fun, finds and adventures. Thanks to the Gang for the invite, company and shared solves/searches and all the COs for the smiley opportunities. Apologies for the generic log (unless further comments required) but we got through a LOT!! ??
Found this cache as part of our Easter long-weekend road trip to the Dayboro mega event. A great adventure and plenty of finds, teamed up with Wilbert, Mizmaz and steeba for this roadtrip.
Many of our logs are signed with "Gong gang" to represent all four of us who were present. Apologise for the boiler style log.
Not the best day for caching due to the weather but we still had fun slipping n sliding.
Thanks for the cache.

So cool to have made it to the Mega now to get the caches we spent months solving and other nearby caches.
On a trip north to get to Dayboro with Kittykatch, Isopeda and Barb2e. Been lots of fun and laughs.

Just picking up some caches for the afternoon while attending the Dayboro mega. TFTC.
On a dismal and wet afternoon we worked out a caching run with ilook4geo which included a mix of traditional, challenge and puzzle caches. All containers were OK and each log was dry. Sometimes full caching names were used and sometimes it was just initials. Thanks go to the CO for placing this cache, which was a pleasure to find. A favourite given for the construction.
As I was logging my cache finds from yesterday, I realised that my to do list for the day had omitted some wingaap caches in an area I had visited. I found myself visiting the Dayboro Mega again this morning so I made sure to rectify my omission on today's drive home. Another well themed cache hide here. TFTC
Found at 4:12:00 PM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob.

Found by Mary and David, in company with pprass, at 16:15. Probably our last for the day. Very ghostly! These caches have given us so much pleasure this afternoon. This gets a FP too. Our thanks to wingaap.
Dayboro trip. Day 9. The first full day of the Mega proper dawned and with it the formal opening was observed early in the morning. We then broke into team to spend th3e day caching, targeting the several geo-art series in the vicinity of Dayboro. I was joined by Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Nibblericecakes and Gliss. There were showers on and off all day, but the caching went well, with only a few small breaks when it was too wet. It was great to see all the caches in place and despite some of them being fun and tricky, the pre-mega puzzle solving effort was well rewarded.
Thanks.

24,094. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip. For today we also cached with albida33, Nibletricecakes and GLISS! to form and sign as MiNiFiGAS!
With the sudden COVID outbreak in Queensland putting the Mega in doubt we decided to head up to the New South Wales / Queensland border hoping that it would still go ahead, and with the announcement that things were mostly returning to normal we decided Plan A still looked good. Day 4. An early start today with an aim of caching our way through some of the Geo-Art around Dayboro (all being pre solved) plus various bonus caches along the way This was the first stop for the day. We parked nearby this one for a quick find at GZ. Signed the log as MiNiFiGAS!, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks wingaap !! Please forgive the generic logs.

Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
After the Mega Opening Ceremony, we teamed up with nibletricecakes, GLISS! & Albida33, signing logs as MiNiFiGA's. Today was the day to put our puzzle solving hard work to the test. We did not let the persistent rain dampen our spirits, tackling the Horse, Pacman & part of the We <3 Geo Geo-art trails and any others in-between. Then ended the day with a Round 5 win in the Trivia Night.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.

Signed today as MINIFIGA! as I teamed up with GLISS! Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and Albida33 to tackle some counties, trails, oldies and interesting caches. Great to be finally in Queensland with our eyes on the Mega Prize. It was a wet day today but we still managed to grab a lot of caches as we navigated the rain and puddles.
This is the first Mega we have had in Australia in over a year. We have navigated lockdowns, mouse plagues, floods and the dreaded Covid to get here. So wonderful to be able to be out caching in Queensland. Such a privilege. Thanks for the cache.

Another fun creation...I can't help think these must look better with age then when they were originally placed. Thanks again, wingaap.
Hitting up the trails around Dayboro today. All caches were quickly found unless otherwise indicated. Caching in a group and signed as MiNiFiGA! TFTC

Now here’s a tall bloke I know... a towering figure from my early days of caching when I considered people like GG, Gunnie69, WingAAP, LatLongJunkie and others to be the elder statesmen of our beautiful game, setting standards of community conduct which sought to ensure a good experience for all ages. I still hold that view, with the addition of many other similar statespeople by now.
Where else to find this cache but up among the gums!
Not too spooky today but in great condition nonetheless so TFTC.

Out and about on a very hot day. As much as possible, sticking to drive-by caching, drinking lots of water, and resting where needed. I love the Australian summer, but oh boy does it put a damper on day-long geocaching trips!
10 caches and 5 labs today, before retreating for the comfort of air con and cold water at home.
I was out this way finishing off an adventure lab. There is a rule to caching - at least in my house - never drive past a Wingaap cache. So I stopped in here quickly on the way home. Another classic
