We had a plan today to pick up as many well favourited caches as possible and if they included Wingaap placed caches then all the better. So off to the Crown at Dayboro and work our way home. We also were on a secret mission which should be successful. If was a tad bit smaller, this would be a fine home. Thanks for the beautiful cache.
out and about in samford on new years day, with a few target caches and a focus on old wingaap ones. love the themed containers and the effort gone into making them.
Heading out with two of the kids for some cache hunting this afternoon. I have been researching archived caches recently and this was on our list to check out. A quick stroll from the car and we soon found this amazing cache still intact. Such a shame this has been archived. Its amazing and should be visited more often. Thanks Wingaap. Amazing build.
I’m no longer in the area. I’ve adopted out other caches only to see them flicked around new owners. This is not what I expected.
A lovely drive around here this morning picking up some smileys and this is one we found. We did a very enjoyable run of your caches which always give us a smile. Up we went and spotted the work of art. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks wingaap for your caches. Fav from us.
Have for many years appreciated the unusual and creative hides of Wingaap. This one is another and we took a photo to show the grandchildren. Thanks for your talent and sharing it with us by creating this hide Wingaap. Definitely worthy of a favourite point. We signed the log and replaced all as found.
Cheers and happy caching!

TFTC. We had started the day with a Barb cache as we travelled the local roads after the Mega. WE were heading back to Dayboro stopping along the routes collecting more smilies. Very impressed by these hides . Loved the hide. Worth a FP from us.
We made the decision to spend another week at the Dayboro showgrounds to give ourselves the opportunity to find more of the many caches that have been placed in the area. Finally the rain has nearly become non existent and bar for one short heavy burst it has been a rain free day. The area is still showing signs of all the rain we have had recently with the creek flowing fast and in places the roads are covered. We found all of the caches that we attempted today but one. SL TFTC
Tftc wingaap, another really creative cache. Blaming GPS for this taking longer to find than it should have.
Dayboro Day, Final Day
Today we chose to retrace our tracks to look for caches we had passed previously
The finds were mostly along backroads. It's always good caching in the country.
This also included a drive to Lake Samsonvale to complete the AL
A great container that deserved a FP
Thankyou wingaap for placing this cache.

Today with Day 3 of the Dayboro Mega event (final Easter weekend day), I returned back to Dayboro to attempt a solo yet full day of finding the various solved *Geosaurus* and *We* ?? *Geo* geoart, as well as any other interesting cache types. Time was spent south around Samsonvale, north-east around Mount Pleasant, and east around Rush Creek. The rain continued to fall, but it came in patches that still allowed some pleasant geocaching, yet somehow the rain knew when I was farthest from the car, for which it then fell heavily. I met a few more Geocachers during the day, and as I finally lost light, it was time for the final closing ceremony of the Mega, and an opportunity to get dry from the day's activities.
During my travels around the vicinity, I made a stop here, and the cache was a reasonably quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. This was another awesome cache construction, and I bleed another Favourite Point to this geocache's FP accumulation. Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. If help is required to maintain, then I'm happy to help in the future, or adopt if need be!

Cache 7285 on 4 Apr 2021.
Finally, a real geocaching mission with an airplane flight, nights away, so many caches on the list and a road trip home! Flew up from CBR on 1 April with TikvaNZ to join Fox in Jox for a 5 day full-on mission centred around attending the Dayboro Mega event. Plan is to cache in around BNE, targeting old caches, virtuals, LBHs, Wherigos, DT combinations and anything else that takes our fancy and then start heading home Monday via as many counties as we can squeeze in. We have so many caches on the list we are unlikely to get them all, but we will try our best! Don’t care if it rains or snows - QLD here we come!
This cache: very cute gnome home. Fav point comin at ya !
Thanks wingaap for the cache and the fun!

Just picking up some caches for the afternoon while attending the Dayboro mega. TFTC.
On a dismal and wet afternoon we worked out a caching run with ilook4geo which included a mix of traditional, challenge and puzzle caches. All containers were OK and each log was dry. Sometimes full caching names were used and sometimes it was just initials. Thanks go to the CO for placing this cache, which was a pleasure to find. A favourite given for the home construction.
Another great container and enjoying the series.
So cool to have made it to the Mega now to get the caches we spent months solving and other nearby caches.
On a trip north to get to Dayboro with Kittykatch, Isopeda and Barb2e. Been lots of fun and laughs.
Signing via stamp as Capital Crunchers.

Dayboro trip. Day 9. The first full day of the Mega proper dawned and with it the formal opening was observed early in the morning. We then broke into team to spend th3e day caching, targeting the several geo-art series in the vicinity of Dayboro. I was joined by Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Nibblericecakes and Gliss. There were showers on and off all day, but the caching went well, with only a few small breaks when it was too wet. It was great to see all the caches in place and despite some of them being fun and tricky, the pre-mega puzzle solving effort was well rewarded.
Thanks.

24,097. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip. For today we also cached with albida33, Nibletricecakes and GLISS! to form and sign as MiNiFiGAS!
With the sudden COVID outbreak in Queensland putting the Mega in doubt we decided to head up to the New South Wales / Queensland border hoping that it would still go ahead, and with the announcement that things were mostly returning to normal we decided Plan A still looked good. Day 4. An early start today with an aim of caching our way through some of the Geo-Art around Dayboro (all being pre solved) plus various bonus caches along the way This was the first stop for the day. We parked nearby this one for a quick find at GZ. Signed the log as MiNiFiGAS!, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks wingaap !! Please forgive the generic logs.

Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
After the Mega Opening Ceremony, we teamed up with nibletricecakes, GLISS! & Albida33, signing logs as MiNiFiGA's. Today was the day to put our puzzle solving hard work to the test. We did not let the persistent rain dampen our spirits, tackling the Horse, Pacman & part of the We <3 Geo Geo-art trails and any others in-between. Then ended the day with a Round 5 win in the Trivia Night.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.

Awesome A favourite from me.
Signed today as MINIFIGA! as I teamed up with GLISS! Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and Albida33 to tackle some counties, trails, oldies and interesting caches. Great to be finally in Queensland with our eyes on the Mega Prize. It was a wet day today but we still managed to grab a lot of caches as we navigated the rain and puddles.
This is the first Mega we have had in Australia in over a year. We have navigated lockdowns, mouse plagues, floods and the dreaded Covid to get here. So wonderful to be able to be out caching in Queensland. Such a privilege. Thanks for the cache.

When I was putting together a list of potential caches to visit while attending the Mega event at Dayboro, I noticed that this highly favourited cache was facing possible archiving. Not wanting to miss out I made sure to call in for a visit on my drive home from the Mega. I found my self a suitable place to park nearby. I'm sure I'm not the first car to pull up randomly on the side of the road out here this weekend.
Arriving at GZ I found the gnomes to be in unexpected tip top condition. What ever beauty salon / day spa they attend, I need to book myself an appointment. They certainly put my shabby presentation to shame. A polite knock on the door first and I was soon given permission to sign my name in the logbook. TFTC

I think this cache was my “most favourited Unfound near home” and so needed a visit. I recall visiting a Stanthorpe version during the Mega and it’s great to see this one is still alive and well too.
The gnomes could probably give this one a gentle scrub to freshen it up to earlier standards of glory but it is still well worth the visit. TFTC where all is good inside the container, including the little resident.

This was one of our many finds today as we went on a caching binge to get our numbers up in 2020 and try and get our daily find stats up a little higher also. This was a quick and easy find something that could not be said for some of our other finds today. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam. We loved the little house here for this one
I've never been disappointed by a wingaap cache, and this one was no different! I have a list of target caches for 2020 that comprise of the oldest 500 geocaches in the state, caches within a 10 km radius of home, caches with >50 FPs, and large caches. This cache easily makes the list and today it was time to run out and grab it. This is the third cache today by the same CO.
I think if I give out a FP for every worthy wingaap cache I am going to run out! Thanks so much for hours of enjoyment. The kids really love the extra effort you go to.
After signing the log and appreciating the cache container, we returned as found and then headed off down the road to grab one last cache before the rain sets in.
TB visit, one TB drop, one TB pick up, and well deserved FP.

A boy's day out. Out with GeoNayfee and Team Tyrrell for a morning of caching.
There was no plan just meet up and go for a run and see where the day takes us.
We meet at Cedar Creek and jumped into the truck and off we went. Completed a few caches along the way, with all of us doing the searching and logging the caches.
There were some quick easy finds and some that took a little time.
A fantastic day with laughs and jokes along the way.
This one was a "Quick easy find" but thanks for your all efforts on all your caches they are amazing to see and always a surprise when you see one, again thanks.

There are only about 6 caches which I have not found in my 200km radius from home which have over 50 favourite points and this was one so I, like many others, had it targeted for the Cache Carnival promotion. I was lucky that I hadn't found this cache as my last trip up this road involved a detour because of road works so that this cache was not accessible. So, today, I took the drive to get my name in the log book and check out the creation.
I struggled to get up the slippery bank but managed it after a couple of attempts and the soon found the sparkly hide. Another great creation from the master. I then took the slippery slide back to the car.

Hi there wingaap.
Today's venture had us heading out from our camp at Dayboro Showground to spend a morning caching with Liz & Bruce. All up we found 37 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the construction.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache about 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Regards
Ian & Penny.
