Found this but missing the container and log book very wet, couldn't open it with out harming it so didn't log my find.
Found en route south to Timaru for a shortened Easter break. The weather forecast was for fine weather, and after a little drizzle in the morning, it was starting to clear.
We weren't sure if we could drive along the road as the sign seemed to indicate that horses only were allowed so parked nearby and had a short walk to GZ. Unfortunately the systema container is gone and all we found was the log book in its plastic bag - still signable, luckily. TFTC.

#13984. Another Temuka cache (or in this case, just a log book), that needs some TLC. TFTC.
I have been in New Zealand alone 25 years ago.
This time i visited down under again with my wife.
We also visited our daughters which were here for 7 months for work and travel.
On our way north, we stopped at Temuka and found the box in his hidden place.
Thank you very much for this cache and many greetings from Germany.

I have been planning this trip for a while now as I had some airpoints due to expire and wanted to go somewhere for Wellington Anniversary Weekend. So I've made it a 4 day weekend and come down from Palmerston North for a caching road trip. I have two goals for this weekend, to get two 2500 caches before 23 January as that is when I took up caching last year and to get caches on as many minutes as possible that will hopefully qualify me for a challenge cache in the Manawatu. Day 1 is Christchurch to Oamaru.
Quickly found the cache here Nd I could get on my way to the next one. Tftc

English is not our native language. We lost some time in the translation of fairway. But OK
Out and about for the day grabbing a few caches clearing up unfound ones in temuka. Made a quick find and off to get the rest before the day runs away from us. Great cache thanks. Found with Rayzr2 and chiko1
On a cashing weekend in South Canterbury with my sister NZ Bozzy
TFTC - quick find

Nice walk in the very early morning. I needed a good stretch of the legs, and this was just perfect. TFTC!!
On a mission around South Canterbury/North Otago. 114 found caches today. Thanks to all the CO's for their effort. Sorry about the cut and paste. TFTC.
Travelled from my Timaru base northwards to Temuka just finding the odd cache today.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
How cool that you can drive through the centre of the golf course! Followed the road to its conclusion at the river, before doubling back and picking this one up
Just finished a Girl Guide Leader training and thought while I'm here I might as well find a couple as that is what I think I need to reach 1500. Found okay but think the co-ords slightly out or my gps is playing up.
Headed down south with C&D and 11HPG11 for the CHCH Mega as part of the HOAC team, and decided that a Mega road trip/Mega Mission was the right thing to do. After a great day caching from Dunedin to Omarama we manged to get a few hours sleep before the big day 2 started.
Day 2 was the start of a ambitious plan to try and find as many caches as possible in one day! To maximise our chances of a big number we decided a 24 hour caching day was the only way to go. What an epic day, and some great moments too. The rough idea was to cache from Omarama to Oamaru, and then head north towards Christchurch. A huge thanks to everyone for the cache placments, and I apologise for the copy and past logs.
Find #301 for the day.

This was the start of a MEGA caching weekend in the company of good caching friends. In the company of both HKCB & 11HPG11 this was going to be another memorable caching road trip for many reasons.
This is the mission that we had set ourselves up for several months back. It was HKCB's idea, I was just dumb enough to think it was a challenge and I'd be up for it, 11HPG11 was silly enough to come along for the ride once we confirmed a spare seat (Nova Lightening pulled out for family reasons).
We were going to try to beat the NZ one day record in New Zealand (it would have been easier with 4 people), so after 2.5hrs sleep after a good feed at Omarama we were ready to go. This was the number three hundred and second on what was to be an epic day with what amounted to 401 caches collected for the day and about 38 DNF's. We managed this with 10minutes to spare but by this time we were done for and still had to drive back to Kaiapoi. All in all an epic days caching with good friends and something I don't think any of us will repeat in a hurry.
All in all it was going to be a big day with a number of challenges, great scenery, and of course great company. Fantastic driving along and up here as the landscape was so different from what we are used to back in the Waikato. One good thing about backroads being that we could continue our neferious activites without being disturbed by muggles.
Nice quick find here without any issues .
thanks for the placement , thanks for the cache

What a Mega Mission for a group of Hamilton Over Achievers! A great trip, a long time in the planning. I teamed up with Cats&Dragons and HKCB to grab a couple of caches while in Christchurch and surrounding areas for the 2015 Mega Event. We flew out from Auckland on Friday night and traveled to Dunedin in the dark of the night. Stopped for a few hours sleep before setting off to grab caches in the Otago area on Saturday before attempting a few more on Sunday and then arriving at the Mega on the Monday. An amazing, yet crazy road trip. Signed logs as HOAC to save room
When C&D mentioned a day with over 400 caches I should have turned and ran... instead I said yes, and here we are. 401 caches in 23 hours and 50 minutes. All done on about 2.5hr of sleep. It was hard work with only 3 of us and there were times that were hard and tiring but I still had a blast! An amazing experience that one has to be slightly crazy to even consider
Thanks for bringing us here and placing caches for us to find

Often walk this way but never realised there was a track through the trees till looking for a cache took me off the main path. TFTC
An easy find on a hot summers day. Went for a bike ride to get a few of these caches around Temuka. TFTC
Ran over but had to wait to run back across as a couple of players hitting balls towards me otherwise. Cheers for the cache

Quick find and sign whilst on the way back to CHCH after having had a lovely family weekends 'holiday' in Timaru. Detoured off the main road to make a few finds in Temuka (just coz we could)...Nice one. Cheers.
Took a bit of a meander through here after sunset one day, with the boyfriend in tow a few days after he'd had knee surgery. Decided it might be a good way to give it a bit of a stretch.
Was a nice wander once we figured out where the fences were, they were a little bit hard to see in the torchlight until you were right on them. After a couple of false starts on the exactly location we were looking for, I deviated off the path and came across what I was looking for. Biingo! Log signed and back to the car for us. Decided it was time to go home and rest the knee after our little walk.

TFTC it was an easy find, it was a little exposed so i concealed it a little more after i put it back
At first we went to the wrong part of the golf course but realized our mistake and after a bit of investigating we found it. Found with Schnitzel04. TFTC.
Found without GPS so was interesting just using clues and practically guessing. Found with Empire04. TFTC
A quick find during a short stopover in Temuka this morning. The listed coordinates put me out in the middle of the road rather than at the cache site, but with the hint I was able to walk straight to it. Signed log, TFTC!
We enjoyed the day caching in this area
Tftfun
So many caches done to remember all, but got a kick out of all that we found (0ver 600 in 8 days)

Of the two possible GZ choices I chose the correct one on my approach for an easy find. T4TC.
Nice position and a clean little find. Cache was all warm and cosy in there. Thanks.
