Time to finish this one. It is still in place safely tucked away. Will be there now as long as the bridge is still standing. Unfortunately the electrical ducting has been placed right over the hide. While it can still be seen it is irretrievable. Soon it will be forgotten forever.
Needed a find after the last 2 stupid days, so I was glad to staff this one. Gps had me looking the wrong way at first, but as soon as I turned around I spotted the sneaky thing. Love the placement - really 'natural' signed under the lights of a nearby tunnel. Got muggled as I was rolling it up, but I get the impression they thought I was rolling something else! Replaced cache and wandered back to my car. TFTC! Cheered me up immensely.
After flying in from Adelaide it was nice to wander off to find this one. The clue certainly makes it easier to spot. Left a twinkle. TFTC
2nd time lucky for me. The first time I was put off by the traffic. With George-daughter PRG14 in toe I didn't feel so conspicuous. A fave for me as it's such a great hide. TFTC
Mum and I have been wanting to do this one for a while so it feels great to finally do it. We were walking back and forwards and the compass wasn't quite right but as we were walking away Mum spotted it. The hint is right it won't Washer away. TFTC
Had looked here before while visiting a nearby muggle mate. Onn this visit I brought my muggle mate with me, and despite the coords being out, the smarta..e found it easily. Good hide. TFTC.
Read the logs and knew I was looking for something cunning. Was a bit nervous about this one as it felt very public and exposed - though in reality the cars are only there for a brief moment (or so I kept telling myself). Walked up to GZ and saw what I thought was the cache nearly immediately. A bit of a play and it seemed my suspicions were incorrect. Kept wandering, trying not to play with legitimate equipment. Checked along the other side of the bridge, with frequent stops to "tie my shoe" or "scratch my leg" (which probably just made me look more suspicious!). My compass appeared to be suicidal, telling me that I should jump 3 metres south-bound off the bridge… luckily I was of more sound mind than my compass, and kept my feet firmly planted on the bridge.
A couple of laps up and down and I was scratching my head. Not too many hiding places, I would think. Came back to my first suspicion, using a pen for a bit of extra help, and it turned out I was right the first time!

I have dreaded doing this one as I don't like really public ones. However I needed to go to Officeworks and Super Amart so I thought today is the day. I looked and looked and got tooted and yelled at. I retreated to a tunnel to look at logs and searched again. I ended up PAF who helped me a lot. I wouldn't have found if without her help as my phone wasn't taking me there. Once I got it I retreated to a tunnel to sign and returned it. TFTC! Glad I can tick this one off!
First two passes came up with nothing so I retreated to lower ground to read some logs and think a bit more. I knew what I should look for because of the hint but it took a fair bit of walking back and forward to locate it. Luckily the cars were going past so quickly I don't think any of them would have been there long enough to realise that I was not really crossing the road. Unless of course they were fellow cachers. TFTC
Doi, was lookin on the wrong side in the right place. Very nice camel toe…i mean camo. Tftc.
This find took a couple of passes... but when I looked on the unexpected side... bingo... tftc...
This spot is one that I have passed by myself on many occasions. Some when I knew about caching and others when I did not know about caching.
I do recall actually stopping here at some point, just cannot recall when really. Anyway I did not forsee mysel making this find for some time. Even though there had been mention of something about it yesterday in a conversation with another cacher. It maybe just was a subconscious choice to head in this direction today. As my first two thoughts were to go south or north. But at the last moment, I headed west.
Anyway I parked where many others have previously and wandered up into the roundabout. I started having a look in a few places, and was coming up with nothing. I saw something that looked good but well even though looked to like it should be there to be what I was looking for.
So I stood back and looked and looked with nothing jumping out at me. I got one toot of the horn from someone, not sure if a cacher or just someone being smart.
Anyway decided to read some logs and one thing just jumped out at me, and I started looking and there it was. Shaking my head I retrieved the cache and signed the log and put it back in place ready for the next hunter.

Parked in the hotel car park and made my way thru the underpass and onto the overpass. Started to search where the GPSr was indicating GZ and could not see it at first. So I knew that it could not be north or south so I looked west then east then at a certain spot and there it was standing out as there were no other items in close proximity. Good clever hide. TFTC.
TFTC. #158. I spent far too long looking in the wrong places for this one. Thanks for placing this one. I have driven many times through here and it was great being able to walk around and really see the road from a different point if view.

After celebrating Brother Colin's birthday at The Oxley Hotel, T-Tech and I wanted to look for this cache. With BC and ac16221a in tow, we headed up to GZ. The other two blokes had got it already, but they let us search without too much heckling We spent far too long searching all the wrong spots, before T-Tech finally saw the hide. Very sneaky. TFTC, stairman1.
After a HAPPY BIRTHDAY dinner for Brother Colin at the Oxley Hotel. IolantheK, ac16221a, BC and I went for a bit of a cache walk and this was the closest [^]
Arrived at GZ, ac16221a, BC stood back (the previous finders) and let IolantheK and I go to work.
The co-ords ended up to be spot on but we look for a long time in the "obvious" places before I turned my attention to the only possible place left.
Great hide as usual stairman1 a favorite point from me

2:00am just heading back to Sunshine Coast after spending a night getting night caches with Dahumbug! Clever hide! Is definately waterproof! Tftc!
Very clever Stairman1. Good coords and nice hide. 1000 passes in the 3 mins that I was there!
!!!!!!!tftc!!!!!! parked at the cab rank late at night thinking what cabbie would want to use this right now wandered over to gz and felt about no no nothing looked at the hint and thought what was that back there oh yes got it signed log and went back to the car was just about to put the key in and low and behold a cab arrives to use the rank jumped in quick and drove away just in time for him to park. !!!!!
Visited bunnings so thought I would give this a look. I didn't even know you could walk here safely. Tried a few solid ideas but soon caught on. Grabbed it and walked somewhere much less dodgy looking to sign. Tftc
Very clever hide. Went at night so too busy. Had to look for a while then there it was. TFTC
Well...after a big day of hanging out with the Stairman1, it was time to grab a few cold beverages on the way back to his humble abode. After hiking for 12 hrs and over 12 Kms earlier that day, there was a suggestion to me to go get this one. With a cold beverage in hand, and wearing no shoes, I had soon dawdled to GZ and saw it straight away... after I quickly discarded my first thought. Even goldielover had sent me a text asking if I required a hint, but it was not needed, and we were soon eating dinner back at there house. Nothing like pies, a bourbon or three, and a spa after a big day of hiking, and this little hide was a little bonus for my travels.
Thanks stairman1 for the cache, and your awesome hospitality.

It's not hidden, and you can see it, but until you get it, you can't see it!
Very clever hide was a little distracted on the phone to begin with and had a few cars toot at me then misssusan79 steered me in the right direction then all good grabbed the cache walked down under tunnel to log in
TFTC found on my Friday after work caching cool down at 2am. I kept coming back to the same spot, just wrong side. Once I used the light of the phone to check, it became apparent that there was a potential hide. Thanks Stairman. I look forward to more of your hides
Had stopped by to have a look at this one a while ago and I gave up as it was very busy and I felt very strange. With a little more experience under my belt and and after reading recent logs and giving it a little more thought I was determined to make this my find for today as part of my August streak. Well I wondered under and over to gz and saw it straight away, did a quick shoe tie and grabbed the cache, over to a tunnell to sign and off I went. Last time my attention was directed somewhere else but glad to tick this one off my list. Thanks stairman1 for another classic hide.
Having had some experience with the CO's caches I was expecting to struggle with this one. And I was right. Wandered back and forth across the walkway trying not to look suspicious and at the same time spot something that both should and shouldn't be there? At one point, almost lost my favourite hat to the traffic below. That would have ruined my whole day. Amazing reflexes saved the day. Thinking about calling it quits when ...Hmmm, what's that? I wonder? Well, I'll be damned, got ya! No doubt about it, worth another favourite point. well done stairman1.
What a wicked spot for a cache, and a really clever hide in a visible location. A really enjoyable find, and what I have come to expect from a stairman1 hide! Cache is in good condition. I am glad inhad to go to Bunnings today! Thanks for the hide.
And I've passed it 1000's of times oblivious until I was gifted premium by 1957 chev. TFTC.
Yes found on second attempt with a hand from a cacher been before easy once I seem it maybe the first time the traffic below put me off in peak hour this time late at night was a good time TFTC icb
Mr Hunting Rabbit had visited this cache before, so was on hand if forbiddenground and Mr GT54, needed assistance to locate the cache. Assisatance was not required as forbiddenground found the little blighter, which had eluded him some time ago. We were all out and about today in a car pool to locate some caches. Very creative hide. As I first walked across my focus was on the wrong side of the bridge. I made a u-turn and on the trip back spotted the cache. Great hide where you can see it! I retreated to a nearby tunnel to sign the log. Thanks for another fantastic cache!
Very very clever hide - loved it. Another solo mission ... no nagging geolad or geoliz rival. Had to sit down on path and gather thoughts after a fruitless initial search for this easy one as I was sure I had hint worked out. looked and bingo!

In the area for a couple of days so had to look for a couple of caches.
Called in with muggle workmate to see if we could find this one after leaving the worksite on the way to the airport this afternoon. Had looked for this the night before but did not want to spend too long on the walkway over a motorway waving a torch around too much.
Today was a different matter walked up and after waiting for a muggle to walk past walked straight up and grabbed the cache, amazing the difference some daylight can do.
Walked away a bit to sign log then replaced ok.
Thanks stairman1 for this cache

So I was at Bunnings doing what all good cachers do at Bunnings (and also getting a few things we actually needed) and decided that today was the day to finally go look for this one.
This has been on the radar for a while and each time I passed by it sang it's siren song. So I stopped on the north side of the high way on the way home and walked down to GZ.
There is a pretty park on the way with a war memorial and a few kids toys. I can understand the memorial but was wondering what parent would be enticed to bring their beloved little gems down to a park so close to so much traffic. Each to their own, maybe it's for Bob Jane type families.
I had another chortle seeing the plaque commemorating the construction of the interchange. Long may we remember whoever it was who was minister for main roads or whatever when this place was built...
I knew this would be a bit of a tricky cache from the not-looking-like-a-terrorist-trying-to-blow-up-the-interchange perspective so I started a few walk bys and couldn't spot anything odd. I took a minute to read the logs and decided I needed to look in different places. A scan of GZ and I spotted it. One more walk by with quick snatch and I had it.
Of course that was the exact moment a jogger emerged from the tunnel... bah, so much for being stealthy. She didn't seem to mind that I was planning to plant some C4 however and she smiled as she went by. So I signed up and did another walk past to replace the cache and head back to the car.
Really enjoyed this cache. A clever hide, an interesting walk and the thrill of cars zooming by on all sides.

One of our geokids was to frightened to walk on the bridge but still suggested a spot it could be from the side lines and bingo!!

This one has had me stumped for a while. I drive past this one every day and have stopped a few times but with a few clues from a friend I had soon had this tricky one in hand. TFTC.
Found a likely spot, but was amazed to uncover nothing. Started walking back assuming it had gone, but decided to go and have another look. I soon saw something familiar and hey presto, there it was.
Went for this one after getting the coords from my Premium Member friends, The Hunting Rabbit. Unfortunately I searched and searched and searched some more. Got a little bit of help in the end from Mrs Hunting Rabbit after going all the way back to the car to fetch her and take advantage of her astounding geosense. In any case, I have another variation of this kind of hide in my mental arsenal for next time! TFTC stairman1.
finally managed to do oneof our caches. Have fund soe in th mt ommaney area before. TFTC and goldiloveror bringing me down tis way
Almost 2 years since my last look but today I was back in broad daylight. I must have looked a bit suspicious for anyone whizzing past. I checked all the places I looked last time for the same result and then found what had to be a great cache hide - but no, nothing. Maybe ths one - nah. After a few muggles and a bit of patience the cache was found well hidden - just not where I had concentrated.

I found a place to park Sooty the cachemobile and sauntered back to the walkover...
Milling around on the bridge (by myself) the gpsr wanted me to take a leap into the traffic...
Fom the other side along came a man with a brand new Whipper Snipper in a box under his arm...
He stopped and said, "Wanna hint?"
I let him dissuade me from searching for the cache in the traffic, then we chatted for a minute. Seems he knows Brother Colin.
He wandered off down the path and I found the cache easily This one is pretty muggle proof
Signed and replaced and wandering down the track to the path below and who should appear but the CO...
I said, "Did you just pass a man with a Whipper Snipper?"
TFTC stairman1, neat hide!

Out for dinner with the parents and it was suggested that I have a look for this one.
Quite a tricky hide this. I wouldn't have wanted to be looking for this at peak-hour. Darkness definitely helps!
Thanks for the cache

After being defeated at Super Homer we needed something more fun and easy without any mossies. This was a neat cache. I've been past year so many times and had no idea this walkway was here. It feels weird being in the middle of a roundabout with a freeway below you and cars driving around and below you. Great views!!! TFTC
This was my second attempt. The first was a disaster. I forgot the GPS, and then the phone battery died! By that time I had to use my daughter's phone to try and find this in the dark with no such luck. So today was the day to get this mission accomplished. Clear weather, GPS in hand, shopping done at Officeworks and made my way over to Hardly Normal with my son. Along the way looked at all the obvious spots - felt a little exposed. Then there were sirens going off all around me and I thought "what have I done" Im innocent!! Stood up, looked around and found the crafty little device - with an accurate hint. Kool Cache. TFTC
Randomly in the area for work so I thought why not check for some nearby caches and bingo 23m don't mind if I do got to within 5m looked right looked left and spotted it. Nice work on this one stairman.

In the dark, this one was a bit of a challenge and we searched for a goodly while without success. However, we were fortunate to have the CO's with us for this one (they laughed discretely from a distance). We finally decided to trade hints on this cache with one of ours down south. So with a little extra help so obtained, it wasn't too long before Mrs Herbz spotted this sneaky, sneaky little blighter. Ooooh that is very nasty Mr Stairman, very nasty indeed. But we love this sort of hide so it gets an FP from us. Looking forward to doing a few more of yours soon. TFTC&C.
Sorry for the copy and paste, just keeping track of all the caches I found with Icecream boy.

Found relatively easy for me! I always wonder how people find such spots to plant caches...or do they make them?
A DNF for me on this one. Pretty sure I was in the right location and had a couple of ideas for where a cache might be hiding but I wasn't able to put my hands on anything that moved.
I really like this style of cache, in the open but you really have to look to see it. Thanks for a good one stairman
after finding a few in the area we headed to this one we parked nearby and walked to GZ found something that moved and it wasn't the cache:(
We walked back to the pathway thought about it, another stroll past GZ yeh! finally got a smiley TFTC stairman1

Using a bit of Google Earth, I knew a good place to park.
Arrived at GZ and searched and searched, with all my assumptions coming up with nothing.
Then I had another thought, and the cache was soon in hand!!
Nice hide! Thanks stairman1. FP from me.

Was on my way up to Bunnings and logged this one..
This was the first cache I had ever seen but at the time I was not a member. I was out with Br Col and Mr Fy for my first cache experience about 2 months ago and they had snagged this one.. As I had not signed the book that day and I am a local in the area I've been meaning to go back and log this one for quite some time.
Finally logged it today
Cache was in good condition and there is plenty of room in the log. If I had not known the exact location of this one prior to today this one is a little tricky one
Thanks for the cache

no joy after a trip to a nearby shop. I thought I had spotted something amiss but it was part of the structure alas. looking forward to a successful return.

Out caching with some new cachers. Mr Fy and ac16221a.
A tough one for beginners....and experienced cachers.
After about 10mins searching and some really good ideas from the guys I found it tucked away nicely.
Thanks for the cache and in good condition.

After a brief chat with the CO … and receiving a teeny weeny hint, i decided to have another go at this one while on my way to work in the area again today. I ended up back in the very same spot, and this time i had a more open mind about the hide. It wasn't long before the tricky little bugger was in hand, and i was adding my name to the log
It's amazing what preconceptions one can have about a certain sized container, in a certain area . I can't believe i didn't spot this the other day … lesson learned [:o)]. Nicely hidden Stairman1 .. TFTC

No joy for me today at this one . I parked the truck nearby and made the trek to GZ. The GPS'r seemed pretty sure of where i needed to be, but alas, after 15 miinutes … and with the '1000s' passing beside & below me, i could not find anything that would contain a log for me to sign . Not saying it's gone, but i'll keep an eye it for now .
Thanks anyway stairman1

This is another one of those caches that has been on the radar for awhile - today with no kids in tow was our chance!!!
Found within a couple of minutes - without the kids we were able to have all eyes onboard (which is a rarity for us!)
Log signed and replaced. Thanks stairman1 - another great hide

Found @ 14:29 on 24/03/2012. This was my 34th find of 44 total finds today whilst out and about avoiding politicians.
Something different as I close in on a thousand finds ... nice. Took me ages before the penny dropped and I had it in hand. I knew about the walkways here having visited the nearby watering hole a few times in my past lives, so nice to have a cache to memorialise it.
New ideas for caches elsewhere. Hmmmm.

With a long lay off to caching due to a fractured foot , I was unsure weather my searching skills were up to scratch. So off I go after conducting my business call at the near by establishment. An unusual void of an area you would not even know about unless you use the footpaths. I was glad to spy what I thought might be the cache without arousing any suspision, and a satisfying find too. Another well constructed cache by stairman1. Well at least I can tick the log for the 29th off the list , even if we could not make it to the event in town. TFTC stairman1.
i just got my premium membership and now i can log this one....it was a bit of a hard one but i found this with D-man2006....very cheeky hide...sorry people keep stealing it.

So we decided to go to the local burger/fish & chips joint tor dinner in the park with the kids. I'm thinking, perhaps we have another look for our nemesis cache on the way home. We stop at the Ox, kids in the car with Aunty (C in PJATPAC!), and I head out for a look. Since it's now a premium member cache it doesn't come up on the iPhone, but I've got a pretty good idea where GZ is from my previous look (and driving past all the time, with it staring at me, gloating that I can't find it!). I head up to the middle, then back toward GZ, thinking perhaps if it's just been replaced that it might be shinier. I spot something I hadn't noticed before (how did I not notice that before!) A little tug, and pop! There's the cache!!!! So good to get PJATPAC on this log I must say. We probably made it harder than it is, but some caches are just like that! Thanks for your efforts Stairman1, and replacing the cache quickly.

Even on Sundays. Muggle cars everywhere. Loved the hide. TNLN TFTC Thanks stairman1
Just walking past on my way to Bunnings and noticed this cache has disappeared . Will have to make a new one.
I walked away without the find as the cache has sadly disappeared but I was lucky enough to meet stairman1 at gz.
Love it! I wish there were more sneaky hides in plain view like this one. Didn't take us long but we knew what we were looking for. Tftc
After a few days of constant rain and no caching I was starting to get a little bit of withdrawals... so on a quick run to Bunnings on Australia Day {I am pretty sure every man AND his dog - literally - were at Bunnings today} I thought I would take a walk across and have a wee look for this one... I had already read the hint and had a good idea what I was looking for.... so I thought anyway!
I followed the GPS and it took me to somewhere other than where I was expecting.... actually the GPS wanted me to jump off the side... well that wasn't going to happen... and besides... way too much traffic for me to go play on the highway... it was like peak hour... OMG so much traffic for a public holiday!!
Anyway, back to the task at hand.... I didn't want to be too obvious so I was going backwards and forwards... dawdling along trying not to bring too much attention to myself from the 100's going past me... every so often bending down to re-tie my laces to have a bit of a better look... thankfull no muggles walking past me so it wasn't too hard
I was just about to give up for the day and come back another time with Baddal to help me find it when I spotted it... OMG what a great clever little hide... I take it out from its special hiding place.... and there was no log... no nothing... was this really it?? Surely it has to be, it fits perfectly with the logs that people have written... hmmm... do I trust that I have found it?? Nope... I decided to PAF & see if I was on the right track.... I send the SMS & turn around... **sigh** oh THERE it is... of course... how silly of me... the first one was obviously a 'fake' and this was the real deal..... yep there she is.... Sneaky little fellow indeed Thanks for the fun

Took Sister to this one this afternoon. As expected, she found it whilst I was still fumbling around. Nice hide. The tip is true to its word. TFTC
I found both GeoTri and myself (GeoBre)pacing this one out. Up and down, trying not to look to "Interested" to the 1000's Pass me at the time. Was doing the final sweep.
When looking up noticed a peddle powered machine appear before me almost like it had arrived from another Universe or even another time. A Quick smile and a nod confirmed my thoughts I had been muggled by another Geocacher. Unsure of the "Protocol, secret handshake", I confirmed I was out of clues and Ideas and was heading back to my GeoCar to find more information.
Returned back to GZ minutes later with just one last idea.
“IT HAS TO BE HERE!”
Turned to face my Out of this universe Fellow Geocacher, when it hit me.
“IT CANNOT BE THAT EASY.!!!!!”
I am sure there was a Bright light in my eyes at the time but it just POPPED out at me, like I had been shot in the head by a Cork!
In my excitement I Left the cache behind to run and get a pen, only to be called back by Fellow GeoCacher(That I can now Confirm is “If”).
Thanks If for the Pencil, I hope to cross paths again.
Finally to stairman1 TFTC this one is know the first one on my favourites list!

Yes indeed thousands do pass each day.... obviously not geocachers though or they would stop [:o]
Meanwhile on the pushbike I wobbled through a wormhole to GZ.
Ooops !! There's people wandering along the path in the alternate caching universe [:o]
So I wobbled off through another nearby wormhole and popped back out into a familiar universe with a pub
As I waited for time to warp, a couple of what were obviously visiting aliens wandered past and disappeared into the portal, no doubt headed back to NZ
A couple of minutes later I headed back through and when I popped out the same people I saw last time were still there.
Had I arrived back in this alternate caching universe before I left ?
No!! I had muggled some fellow geocachers
None of us could find the cache's wormhole though
I sat down and enjoyed the views of space time distorting below me for a while.
Semi-trailers do seem to stretch in length and slow down as they approach you [:o]
Einstein was right !!
It was while I was preoccupied with my relativistic ponderings that one of my fellow cachers spotted the loot
Damn! That's a sneaky hide [^]
Suitably impressed we all wandered back to the wormhole from whence we had come.
But I'm still not convinced I got back to the universe I started in.
The sky is purple and everyone seems to have yellow skin and only four fingers on each hand.
It's raining doughnuts too [:o]
Mmmmm...Doughnuts....droool

Second visit. Google Maps (going by the coordinates) put it in a dangerously wrong place - no responsible hider would put it there. So it had to be somewhere else near. And it was. Good one, T(Hs)FTC
Too good for me. On my way back from a ride to the river I thought I'll see if I can find this one. Parked the treadly on the side & walked over, looked, walked back, looked... Pretty quiet being New Years Day at 6am so spent some time there, still no good. A few stares, pretend I'm looking for something that's fallen off my bike, still no good.... read the hint, still no good! How frustrating! Will have to send another member of PJATPAC over for a fresh point of view. TFTH anyway Stairman1
Found it - though this was my second attempt. Had trusty Tony with me this time who was right on it! Excellent hide, brillant clue. Hats off to Stairman1 - you are a genius.
Coming home from a trip to Toowoomba I thought about this one and thought 'I wonder if it's...' so I went and had a look. No it wasn't '...' after all, but It suddenly dawned on me as I walked past. Oh, how sneaky! And how clever! Signed the log and replaced. Thanks for the CachE, sTAIRMAN.
While at Bunnings decided to take a quick detour and go cache hunting. Soon found this one and logged my visit. Great cache!
A nice little hide cleverly tucked away. Drivers took no notice of me, but a cyclist on the path had a good look at me as he rode past. TFTC stairman1
On our third attempt i finally managed to find it! Awesome clever hide. Definately gets a favourite point from us! TFTC
After trying and failing this one numerous times, I started to get worried that I'd have to leave Australia with this as a DNF...
Soooo, I broke down and sent a pleading request to An Old Hag (that's her NAME! Geesh!) and asked for a hint. (I just COULDN'T let this one get away from me).
AOH graciously gave me a pointer or three and I was off to the races.
With Geo-Newbie, Gabrielle04, in tow, we headed to GZ. I let the newbie look around for a bit, but the excitement of knowing where to look overcame me and I had to grab the Smilie.
I hope Gabrielle04 was duly impressed (I think we've got her hooked now) as she chalked up her first find!
AOH sent me some of her caches, so I have my next mission laid out for me!
Thanks for such a clever cache and also to AOH for the hints to help me save face on my trip back to the States!
