Found with Nibletricecakes as we meander home to Canberra after the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens parkrun. Spotted by Nibletricecakes when we got to GZ. TFTC.
Up in Mittagong with GLISS! to check out the southern highlands botanic gardens parkrun. After a lovely chilly walk it was time to tackle some local caches. Nice fast find today after a lovely walked filled with bird life. Thanks for the cache.
This took a hunt to try and find! Staying with my friends so decided to take the dog for a walk. The dog was getting very impatient with my searching.
Container was missing. Replaced with a silver bison hidden at the same elevation as the old one.
Not luck with this one, cords took me towards the water. I’m assuming it’s gone as it looks like it’s flooded?
Can't come and check on it at the moment, but I think it will be there. Its not at ground level for obvious reasons.
Found on a fine cool Winter day for a drive to the Falls with MrsRoosta.
A few good safe hides and lots of muggles around today.
Cache condition is OK/good. We sign micros as RM MR.
Thanks for the cache O319,

Took a while but got it in the end. Still in good condition but hard too open.
Found with Little Cricket and 007Mushu while collecting caches for clues for the Mystery at the museum. Great hide and a nice place to go for a walk. TFTC
Found with Lucky Cricket and Little Cricket, out looking for clues for the mystery at the museum challenge. A great cache Little Cricket found this one. TFTC
Found today with daughter Provably Bex. I love this series and the places it takes me. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Another trip up the highway to grab the remaining placements around Moss Vale. Rapidlywild joined us for the assault and the fun. The weather was lovely with a nice cool breeze across the highlands, which was welcomed when it got a little warm. Not a bad haul for the day, and we have left a couple behind, just to taunt us to return and continue our geoadventures through this pretty area. Thanks Rapidlywild for another fun filled day.
A nice stroll to this one along the pathway. A few muggles out enjoying the weather, a quick find at GZ. TFTC

#5979 (14 of 22 today)
It’s been quite a while since I headed to the Southern Highlands for some finds. So after dropping Geoson #2 at the station I headed down the highway towards Moss Vale. Of course just before I arrived at my first a light sprinkle of rain hit the windshield, but thankfully it only lasted for 30 seconds, and then stayed away for the rest of the day.
Started by finishing the Lackey Extension trail, and then just picked my way around until it was time to head back home - hopefully before peak hour traffic got too bad. Well, only had one bad section...
Anyway, found 22 before heading home, meaning find #6000 is getting very close.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Pleasant walk after grabbing the required information at the nearby multi.
Got to GZ and walked straight past it! Took a few minutes to spot the obvious.
Signed and replaced and walked on.
When I arrived I was the only car in the car park. By the time I got back there were six others!

Left Port Macquarie heading south to the Mega event At Canberra.
Our 4th stop on the way staying at the Mossvale Showgrounds.
Headed north to Mittagong so Hubby could do a bike ride & I walked the fenceline then meeting up again to find some other. This was a great way to visit the area,
Thanks for placing this cache O319

Found 04/01/19. The light was begining to fade when i started this, had a quick look but even after checking the past activity it took a long time of wandering around until i caught sight of this good camouflaged cache, nicely hidden too.
Looked for about 10 mins. GPS all over the place so no luck today despite the clues in the notes.

Great spot. Especially the little ford nearby. Forgot my pen to log visit. Next time.
Sneaky!!! Stood there for 10 minutes with 18 satellites saying 1 metre...... with impatient dog pulling on lead.
Then got a glimpse of it out of corner of eye.
Thanks for a unusual cache!

Third find as we headed for home on Day 5 of a Father and Son Road Trip for his 18th.
Another one of the series called when I saw it was close. The hide was not what I was expected till I saw it out of the corner of my eye.

Left goulburn with the geo son and a picnic dinner packed headed north to await night fall and to see the glow worm glen for the first time in bundanoon. With a little bit of daylight the plan was to grab a few caches that were either new or stray from previous caching runs around the highlands
found a nice little water hole on the way and saw some awesome birds, found the cache even though it was hidden and camouflaged pretty well :p great cache
Thank goodness I didnt have to search through the long grass I was worried about snakes. Doing the stomp stomp dance. Great spot. TFTC!!!
Found on a dog walk on a freezing Saturday morning. No pen as I wasn't planning on caching. Pic attached which could be a spoiler for some. Happy to remove image if CO prefers. Tftc.
Nice little walk out here. Nearly gave up then ... theres the little bugger. Thankyou for the cache. Took pathtag
We have thought about this for a while, but as we were in no hurry to get home we took our time to stop and look for this. I didn't realise the historical significance of this area, so bringing us here and us learning something makes this worth a favourite. A fairly simple find, made difficult by my habit of looking in the worst places first! TFTC, O319

I stopped by this cache on my way to Sydney for the day for a work trip. A pleasant short stroll to break up the journey. The cache was quickly found in the torch light. TFTC.

TFTC off into the bush for this one.
Just a hint, is camouflaged and eye level.

Had us looking for a bit then thought the flood may have washed it away then spotted it, with the camo it blended well.

Ironbark.
Heartened to see from a previous log that the co-ords would have me nearby, it wasn't long before I managed to land the find with only low-level need for a handwash.
Glad to have sampled the beautiful trail that has been put in here.
Took me a while rummaging in the bushes but got there in the end after a bit of a sit down..
Passed by looking for the cache, easy find in the wrong spot. Have put it back where it should have been and replaced the log.
I had a quick look.alot if debris here about 1.5meters up the trees.it looks like the flood waters may of carried this cache away.
Tftc. We concentrated looking at the wrong level for a while, then got smart and lifted our game. Log is damp and falling apart, sorry, we didn't bring replacements with us.
A few caches while visiting Bowral for lunch.
Took a few minutes - nicely hidden in plain sight.
Photo is a few hundred metres away.

Despite the freezing wind I parked as suggested and walked along the path towards GZ. Surprisingly, quite a lot of people were out walking too, but it was clear when I reached the cachers turnoff. After a bit of a search I saw the container, very nicely hidden. Thanks to 0319 for a good hide with a bit of a departure from all the Eclipse tins we have found recently just shoved under a bush.
Ask me if you want to know what name I **signed the log book** transferring finds to this new caching name. Was OCW and as part of “Team” Throsbyonchurch. TFTC.
I found this cache jointly with TOC and now I have my own account I am claiming my finds. My caching name is not in the log book though as I didn't have one. I can cache on my own now. Thank you for the hide.
TFTC. Found this one on an afternoon out caching with Dougal1950. Had to go scrub for this one. Last one for today.
Finalf29 wanted to go geocaching this afternoon, so off we went to grab a couple I already had and a few I didn't.
Finalf29 and myself came at this cache from different angles and met at the gz. Was a lttle worried about snakes, but a huge spider web took my mind off them. The whole area had been flood recently. Had to look around then spotted it. The log was so damp we couldn't sign it, so signed a piece of paper and put in with the log. Thanks for the walk.

Number four for the afternoon. A nice stroll out with Happy Uke to find this one. Thanks!
I'm getting really bad at forgetting to lod caches I've found. This one was a great hide as trying to find it was mind cracking. Eventually it hit me on The head trying to find it and I bursted out laughing. Hilarious frosty morning caching with Stumbles mate. Found 3/7/15 tftc
Driving along the main road, one wonders how to get to a gz in the distance across a field then amazingly hidden pathways which lead under the road appear and it’s an easy stroll along a terrain one until a geotrail is spotted directly opposite the indicated signage. Took a little while to spot cache but quite obvious once you know it’s there. Log a little damp but nowhere near as bad as others have indicated. A snap lock bag may help if a following finder can bring one along. Screwed lid back on securely and replaced as found.
