I solved the puzzle easily and spent quite a while at GZ but could not locate the cache. Bah!
Dnfd this one 5 years ago, and seem to have avoided it since...Came back tonight, so no muggles about.Even with intel, it took an inordinate amount of time to locate. The co-ords are pretty good...Then took awhile to retrieve, and even longer to replace!Bucketed is a twat? lolTNLNSL fav for you...Thanks
Muggle free morning managed to locate the cache and replace in it's correct position
Duppers and I spent around half an hour searching for this one. Clearly with no luck. We could t really even identify a place where the cache could have been under there. Its quite possible its missing, its also just as possible we are completely cache blind. Could be worth checking though

Date: February 24, 2024 Time: 3:16 PMMy arms are quite long but no luck locating this one.
Worked out the coordinates with a little help from a well known search engine. Arrived a GZ and after a bit of a hunt, the cache was soon in hand. Log signed and cache replaced as found.

Hmmm a mathematical puzzle…not my strong suite but I did get an answer that the checker was happy with.
M continued this mornings walk to GZ….wow ! Absolutely stunning.
Finding the cache and retrieval took a little effort with tech but we soon had CIH.
I’m a big Fawlty Towers fan and just heard yesterday that Mr Cleese is planning a reboot !!!

Despite a really good hunt around, and up and down, and all over, we didn't find your cache today.
Nup... not a thing Nil. Nought. Nothing.
Could be we have cache blindness. Could be we just need some more experience finding them...
Could be I'm hungry And out of breath from the climb!
Checked the numbers. Added up.
Groped and torched and peered around parts of the GZ structure but no luck today.
Thanks for the challenge anyway bucketeer ,
will place on the watch list and return asap or when it's been found or maintained!

What can we say? This was one of the puzzles solved before our visit to Mount Gambier, which ended up being quite memorable.
The puzzle took a lot less time to solve than the time spent looking for the cache itself. First, Ma Kettle made a solo search while the rest of the team were hurtling down the nearby mountain bike tracks, but with a constant line of muggles passing through GZ a detailed search was tricky.
Fast forward 24 hours and the weather had taken a turn for the worse and bike riding was less appealing, so another Kettle and the Kelton Krew came and joined the search. The one advantage of wet, windy weather, was the lack of muggle tourists, so a detailed search was undertaken, with no luck. However, perserverance and ingenuity paid off, and while Ma Kettle was sending a message to the CO, a phone camera a torch were being used and the cache was spotted.
Another quick message to the cache owner was quickly sent and the retrieval was undertaken, which resulted in one muddy, slimy arm. Still, a very satisfying find which gets a favourite point for the adventure.

Solved this cache before a trip to Mount Gambier. Weather wasn't the greatest, quite cold and windy but it meant that there were no muggles around which meant we could have a real good search for it. Finally found the cache after nearly giving up but with the use of technology and with the help of the Kettles it was found! TFTC
Had solved this with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) prior to heading here for a holiday. Arrived GZ and had muggles here, when they left more muddles were arriving, so we decided to move on and try for another cache.
Had solved this one with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H) as we knew we'd be in the area. On our trip around the Blue Lake today we tried for the find. Despite the wet weather there were muggles at GZ wanting to take glamorous photos! After many minutes these left and we started searching. But lo! more voices coming up the hill and a group of children arrived. We decided to give up and move on ...
This cache got the better of us nearly 6 years ago when we were in Mt Gambier last. Now we're visiting again and we still couldn't make the find! Oh well ;(
This one took us a bit but we got there, then, and I say again, then, we needed to find the container. The story could go some are to tall some are to short, by the way this will not help anyone, sorry.
After much circling of GZ with the GPS we settled on where we felt the container should be. We played at being contortionists, and finally something was felt. Yipee, now all we need to do is retrieve it. We will say no more. SL TFTC

Took the father in law for a bbq here yesterday and this was the nearby cache.
My mathematical mind had to have a go at this one and I finally worked out the formula and got the solution first go, over lunch.
Unlike finding the cache, it required 2 visits to GZ and a hint from the CO. Thanks, really enjoyed this one. TFTC

Day of chores and no caching supoosedly today! [:o)] as if. Still managed to find ourselves driving right near 2 caches. We had tried to tackle this one on the weekend but of course GZ was full of muggles so we kept on driving.
Today it was fine but freezing and although we were at GZ for a long long time searching we only had to avoid 2 muggles. Eventually we had to PAF to get some help with this devilish hide. Indeed the hide is way more evil than the puzzle.
Log stamped and replaced and we headed home to warm up.

Removed for repair as some one has taken the magnet from the cache leaving it unable to be replaced properly
Found during a caching trip with e.gregory1 to south-western Victoria and south-eastern South Australia for a few days. Day 1 saw us travel from Adelaide to Keith, the back-roads past Bordertown to Frances, Edenhope, Harrow, Coleraine, Wannan, Hamilton, Byaduk, Koroit and down to Warrnambool. That night we camped out behind the coastal dunes west of Warrnambool after collecting a sprinkling of local caches. On day 2 we returned to find a few caches around Tower Hill before heading through Port Fairy to Portland, spending the rest of an unpleasantly hot and windy day around Portland and camping out nearby. On day 3 we drove from Portland to Nelson with a detour to Dartmoor, then back to Ewen Ponds, Port MacDonnell, and a circuitous route up to Mt Gambier with a solid days' caching culminating in some rewarding finds around the Blue and Green Lakes. We were very lucky to locate a very pleasant campsite a few kilometres out of town in Xanthorrhoea (grass tree) mixed eucalypt woodland for the night. The final day saw us travel to Millicent to complete the SFE Challenge series, then to Kingston, Salt Creek, Meningie, Tailem Bend, Murray Bridge and return back home. All in all a very eventful and fruitful trip with some great cache finds, some easy drive-bys, challenging tree climbs, a number of strenuous walks and visits to many scenic locations. We found an assortment of traditionals, puzzles, multis, earthcaches, letterboxes and virtuals, including a rewarding first-to-find, a wide range of difficulty-terrain combinations and detours to locate some unloved caches.
Thanks for the cache bucketeer!

Alas a long way to climb to be beaten at GZ!

On a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide with Lady membsec, wombles and 1MinnieMoo.
Day 3!
The walk to GZ certainly got our hearts pumping!
Even though it was night time, there was still a pretty view of the lights shining on Blue Lake.
This was our last find for the night, time to head to the old gaol for a well earned rest.

Found on our QQ GOR road trip with 1minniemoo nyssaflutterby and Mrs Membsec. Logs signed with QQ to save time and space.
Day three of our adventure, off to Mt Gambier today.
Well I wasn't expecting that, but ok, off we go.
After too many of those, the cache was located after just a few minutes.
It was quite cool but I'd warmed up by the time we got back to the car.

NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, membsec and I were on a grand adventure along the Great Ocean Road, a trip that has been planned for us for a year.
After a bit of a hike, which I can answer the trivia question that there’s “176” to, we arrived at GZ. A short search later and we found what we were after. Log signed as QQ for all of us (NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, membsec and I).
It was a little sad we couldn’t see out at night, tho certain aspects did seem a little surreal with the night time outlook.

We are on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide on the Great Ocean Road (GOR). Membsec from Tassie, Nyssaflutterby, 1MinnieMoo and Wombles and Co all from Queensland. We met at the airport, late due to Jetstar’s strike (4 hours delayed for the Queenslanders) and then hit the road. We have a good selection of caches that we really want to get, so many in a short amount of time.
Day3
We signed the log book with QQ to save space and time. Oh boy.....what a climb....1MinnieMoo counted every single step! Because it was dark I missed the correct way back and ended up doing some extra steps...oops!

Hmmm, a swear it wasn't there last time. I even checked with a torch but it's there now and my stamp is in the book. No one was here at 530 am. Quick find.
Came down with mogni to Mount Gambier for the weekend. The aim was for me to get a CITO in December and for mogni to get 2 caches with the tree climbing attribute and 2 T 5 caches so she can qualify for a challenge cache.

Today with a long weekend in Mount Gambier, we were doing a vertical access course with plans to practice in Carolines Sinkhole today, and conduct a Hells Hole scuba dive tomorrow.
I had solved this puzzle some time ago, and thankfully due to its logic, it wasn't too difficult to get an answer that Certitude liked.
This afternoon, I jogged around the area, and managed to jog up the hill to this GZ. I hadn't planned on finding this one today, but I was here, so I had a look. It's weird that I had looked at this place last time, and the same place as others had suggested where it should have been located? Anyway, found this time. Also, it's not magnetic like the hint suggests.

After scouring all the shops to find as many discs as we could to perform the task we then set about building our stacking pins frame, all good so far. We needed many helpers to perform this task as our poor arms were getting tired after only performing half the required answers. Figured with this much effort surely the difficulty rating would be higher but we finally came up with the needed co ordinates.
Off to GZ sent us on a merry dance as we looked at elevations, wood, metal and lots of muggles hindered our luck also. First visit sent us away dejected but returning today after some kindly advice from a fellow geocacher we now knew it was a distance from our GZ spot. Again waited for muggles ( darn school holidays), we went in for the kill. Much more searching, searching then bingo. This one physically challenged us in a few ways, surely it is a difficulty 5.
A bit of fun had all round on this one, right down to the log. Thanks bucketeer for the cache, found, signed and replaced. TNLNSL

I relocated this cache to it's correct location after finding it out of it's holder on 30/12/2018 while finding a nearby movable GCA cache .
It's most likely still where it belongs, as it hasn't been found since.

A spontaneous trip planned with gridge98 to Millicent to target this GV2020 power trail series. We managed to complete that series in three hours, and then it was on to a few around Millicent, breakfast at Mount Gambier, and some targeted adventure geocaches just south of the Mount. It was also good to have gridge98 to visit my sinkhole caches that he helped with. We then drove back to Adelaide stopping at a few targeted caches that were either new, or ones that gridge98 had had trouble with. A beautiful winters day actually, so was good to be outside when we weren't driving between caches.
I had a look for this back in March. I had checked in the obvious spot that would attract a magnetic cache, but nothing there, and then I checked moreso around GZ and underneath structures, nothing. After 5 min of looking, I needed to be somewhere with friends, and so didn't log the DNF since I hadn't had a proper detailed search. However today with returning
with gridge98 who had found it previously, he made the quick walk with me to point out where it should have been. OK, I checked there last time, and wasn't there. Pretty confident this one is missing then, so perhaps when the CO restores the nearby high terrain Bats cache, he can check (and replace?) this one also. Cheers bucketeer.

Even took Mum This time still cant find it and I know its there somewhere Thanks for Nothing
Had a good search around a Fawlty Tower and could not find a cache, checked co ordinates and searched, did not locate cache
This was a puzzle solved about 4 years ago but today was the day to finally find it. Owl was in the area to represent the family at the Rook Walk Centenary and this was on the way from the car park. Took a bit to get the right elevation for GZ, then realised the coordinates were out, but after that it was a quick find.
I headed down to the south-east with gridge98 on a quick, two-day trip to find a few caches.
We had some rather mixed weather, with sunshine, rain, hail and wind at different stages, but most of the time it was good weather for caching.
We also had rather mixed results in terms of caches. There were some interesting hides in some terrific places; some along the beaches, some in the pine forests and others at various scenic or interesting locations. We managed a few lucky FTFs, but also a few disappointing DNFs. But all in all, it was a great trip.
This was a puzzle I enjoyed solving quite a few years ago, but haven’t had the opportunity to find until today.

School Holiday time. I joined becca85, GemmaSistema, boo09, Ad & Luke for a roadtrip from Maryborough to Mount Gambier to the Glow worms and back again. So much fun. Thanks for the cache.
School Holiday time so we formed our Clarmensma family team and headed to Mount Gambier then home via glow worms for a mini road trip.

School holidays means a geocaching road trip for Team Clarmensma (me, becca85 and our 4 geokids - AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 and boo09). This time we headed west to Mount Gambier for a few days of exploring. Over the 3 days we did lots of kilometres travelling from Ballarat/Maryborough across to the Mount and then back via the Otways. We really appreciate all the teams who put caches out for us to find as without you there would be no geocaching! So many many thanks!

While staying in the area for a few days, geocaching is definitely on the to do list. Had solved this one at home before we came over. However the tricky hide really had us going for a while. So Mr H read the hint...which still didnt make sense to us, anyway we continued to search. All of a sudden the call came out "got it", signed the log and returned back ready for the next person. In town with a couple of crazy cachers and thought I would add my name this solved puzzle. Let me tell you that was now easy task for this boy.

Found with Liz and Bruce and DiMorgan. I solved this one years ago and had a DNF at the time. Today we came here the hard way and started searching. In the end we Paf'd and found the awkward hide. The coords were good though.
Mt Gambier is such a lovely location to go caching in. We found a variety of caches today and thanks to bucketeer for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Hard to find but a fav point alloc because of the gorgeous location.

Today we were caching with Alansee & Liz and Bruce.
After setting up camp, we headed out to do some of the local caches, we visited many interesting locations & found some intersting hides.
It was the guys that went up the hill to find this cache. Great views from there worthy of a favourite pointy.
Hubby said there was a car park right at GZ.

Went to the correct coords (checker told me so) and no luck. Only had about 10 mins to look & a couple of muggles kept me waiting for some of that.
I'm thinking it was a smaller container than I was expecting & the hint has me more puzzled than the puzzle itself...
Oh well, maybe next time I'm in the area...

With a very busy schedule prior to the Surf Coast Event , we had very little time to pre solve puzzles before our mini holiday , so multis and earthcaches were our priority. We have to admit in getting a big hint on this one but was told the hide was trickier than the puzzle itself! With that in mind we headed to GZ after a mini bread feast with the local possums so we could search without fear of muggles disturbing us. Which is just as well as we searched high and low , wider and wider for at least 1/2 an hour before the elusive container was in our hands. As it turned out it was the first place MrT looked!
Thanks bucketeer for another sneaky hide , we are beginning to expect nothing less from you.

In Mount Gambier with Happy Pants for a day of caching. When I first looked at this puzzle, I wondered how I was going to work it out (without physically moving all those discs and counting the moves). I soon noticed a pattern and it wasn't long before I had the coordinates.
At GZ, we couldn't find the cache. We wondered if it was still there, as it was obvious a new deck had been laid very recently. Then Happy Pants had a very good look and just managed to reach it. BUT we couldn't open it. After close inspection, we noticed the lid had been stuck down with liquid nails. We managed to pry it open (without damage to the container). The most recent log was 4/4/16 "Best deck in Mt Gambier". At least they put the cache back I suppose. Anyway, we signed the log and returned the cache. The views are great from here too. Thanks bucketeer for the different puzzle and for the cache.

Found while caching in Mount Gambier today with Yoshi Warriors, admittedly he solved it but after a fruitless 5 minutes of searching it was eventually located and it seems as if the local builder found it before us and was happy to play funny buggers by signing the log and then glueing the container together. We managed to get it opened and logged, at least he returned it. Thanks bucketeer for the puzzle and the hide, great spot!
Found it, after attending my first dinner event. Great group excursion after a great meal and putting faces to names was fantastic.
A group assault after a dinner event.
So much fun & lovely walk in the moonlight.

Found while on a caching weekend to the South East with CPwanderer & clare007.
I don't think this poor cache knew what hit it, with a group assault on it after the event this evening...a nice find by torch light...TFTC bucketeer

I must admit, I am a bit of a Fawlty Towers fan (when in the right mood)....the things they got away with saying/doing....hahaha!!
This was my last find for the day with a group of gorgeous geobuddies after the fun dinner event.
......mind you I never thought I would be part of a group assault on 'flowery twats' I must say, and I certainly don't think my new torch expected to be used to locate, and then illuminate it for all to see...but hey you live and learn! Fun stuff indeed!
Such a gorgeous look out spot, even at night, and one I would have missed had it not been for this cache.
I enjoyed this beautiful moon lit night with friends, you couldn't ask for more.

A nighttime grab on this one after the nearby event! Lovely spot for a GZ!! Found this cache with clare007 and hevwalker on an expedition to the south east! We had perfect weather on our trip …. Picking up some great Traditionals, multis and puzzles and a number of earthcaches. We also attended the Aussie Outback Event in Mount Gambier and local teams TT016 and Spanner111 took us on a nightcaching run!!! Thanks for the hide!!

Found whilst on our Road Trip to Mt Gambier with us, TR!, Tomboy711, Snap Happy, and there was an event nearby and this cache was on our to do list.
We walked around the lake areas and on the sly we reach down low and signed this guy. NIce hide in plain view, this little cache is a must do. It was a great little walk and a few caches collected and signed, always time for another trip back to the Mount

Thanks for the game and the special place I wouldn't have discovered without it. I also found there another game: munsee
After spending the weekend visiting mogni in the Mount with Aussie M and M it was time to head home. I was the only one not to have done this cache so after solving it before coming I was a lonely sight walking up the steps. Once there I as prone reaching for the cache when a dog wanders up and licks my face. Then the owner arrives, looks at me, says nothing and wanders off. OKAY. So apparently this is normal for the Mount. Was finally able to knock it free and retrieve it. Once signed came the even harder part, getting it close enough for the magnet to take hold. Curse this big forearms. Thanks for the puzzle and very clever hide bucketeer.

We solved the puzzle and headed off to the calculated GZ. We searched on and off between muggles coming and going, but couldn't come up with the goods. Thanks anyway for the hunt-we probably wouldn't have ventured this far if it weren't for this cache.
Missmoo's dad was down this way because he needed to pick grapes in Coonawarra. But because of the Lucindale field day, the closest accommodation was in Mt Gambier! So the night before we came down, I looked at some nearby puzzle caches and this one was perfect. I managed to solve the puzzle after a false start and soon some likely looking numbers appeared (although being used to Adelaide coords it required a bit of research). Arrived at Mt Gambier the early evening and went out with my muggle workmate to have a look at GZ. We had to wait out some muggles and wandered around a bit not really sure how we could find a magnetic cache. My muggle friend suggested a spot, and it seemed spot on with the coordinates, so I had a closer look. "What a tricky tricky hide!!" Then we had to wait out some more muggles after the log was signed, but they soon moved on and we quickly had the cache back in its home.
This one gets a favorite point from us as it ticks a few boxes we think make for a great cache. First, it is an unknown, and we really enjoy unknowns. Second, there are some nice clues given which can also be misleading - it has intrigue! Third, the hide is excellent. Lastly, GZ is a great spot and I love it when a cache brings me to a place I probably wouldn't have visited because I don't know about it.

Tried to find this one earlier in the day, but got stumped. GoShaz and Bucketeer both encouraged me to continue looking and persistence paid off when I went back later. Harder to find in the dark, but I had success.
The real mystery of this cache is how ever Bucketeer managed to put it where it is!
Love the mathematical challenge to solve it (although I used to teach this problem to my maths classes way back in the dim dark ages). My initial attempt was with my almost 8 year old geokid, but the successful attempt was solo!

This was a super cache really enjoyed it and even happier whenGZ revealed a cache. Geohound had a good root about at GZ. Getting into solving puzzles now TFTC
Found while in town for the Geozing Race. I was up a bit early for the race so filled in some time with some nearby caches. After solving this cache a long time ago and even looking for it before I went and had another go at it. The cache was very quickly found and I wonder how I missed it before Thank for a good little puzzle and a good cache hide. TFTC.
After solving this (with an error), we returned and found after too much looking

Had worked this one out some time ago and even eyeballed the cache but too many muggles to get it out that time. Took two visits today to get a clear time to get the cache and then nearly got my arm stuck. TFTC
The GPS took us all over the place, so we got a good look at the area. Once at GZ, just as we began to search for the cache, the batteries on the GPS died. Oh, dear! We began searching the area, widening our circle as we went until we had the treasure in hand.
A weekend in the stunning Mt Gambier has to include some geocaching.
After the ThePacman had solved this one previously, we stood watch checking for muggles while ThePacman made the tricky retrieval. Luckily he has long arms .
We enjoyed the views from here while signing the log.

Two weeks later, and here I am again after another 800km round trip to Mt Gambier. This time, armed with a PAF hint to reduce muggle encounter time at GZ, it was a quick find.

I got the co-ordinates quickly enough, as this theme was very familiar to me from my Computer Science 101 days.
Dodging muggles was quite a lengthy affair - had to wait out each "visitors' viewing, and once the coast was clear, the search continued. Repeated several times, and then left with no smilie .
Regardless, it was an enjoyable walk to GZ, with great views.

Suscoe's second visit here today after a EAF last night.
This tricky hide had a few difficulties for Mr. S as it was a bit tight.
Cache extracted and the log signed.
Thanks to Bucketeer for this nice challenge.
A fav from us for the puzzle, the hide and the selection of GZ.

Out with Aussie M & M collecting a few more smilies around Mt Gambier.
I left it to them to solve puzzle as I am not a big Faulty towers fan
I had to turn down the assistance a local offered as he was quite concerned that I had seriously lost something important.
Thanks

Found on the evening of the first day of our short holiday to Mt Gambier in the presence of mogni.
Mrs M and mogni made the significant effort to make the find at GZ, whilst Mr M went off to visit another nearby cache. The most difficult part was convincing the helpful gentlemen that there wasn't anything wrong with mogni who was lying on the ground.
