After a great day caching, we had three DNFs in a row... Neither lochb nor I could locate this one,
Hmmmm. A muggle working on his fence was keeping a close eye on us. We had a bit of a scratch around where we could, no luck today. Not sure if this would affect the cache, but it seems as though (after looking through the gallery of this one), the garden has had a makeover and there is not much garden left
Beautiful sunny day, warm breeze, great location and a cache. All's good. Found by eagle-eyed wife as I overthought it. TFTC.
Found with paulyman while out caching this weekend. Our second attempt at this one, and I think we made this too complicated last time because today it was soon in hand. TFTC.
Second attempt on this one, fairly quick find with snorris. Thanks Wilbert. A very nice spot.
Found with Two Baker Boys on Day 6 of holiday caching streak. Enjoying a mid week holiday in the Kiama area with geohusband. Quick find by Two Baker Boys. Would love to explore the rocks and beach when the sea is calmer. TFTC!!
We took a good 15 minutes to locate the clever hide today .
Scratched our heads for awhile but got it in the end.
Nice cache and location and top views from G as well.
Thanks to Wilbert67 for the cache hide.

With neighbours enoying the perfect afternoon on their back deck we couldnt commit half as much time or energy to this one as we would have liked.
Maybe next time!
Maybe next time!
You have to get lucky sometimes! Its possible we could have been searching for much longer, but the caching gods were smiling, and we soon had CIH =) Thanks for another neat little cache!
6206 + 808 = 7014. Found during a run to the 7th Annual Illawarra Get Together Event with Zsazsa7.
Next stop for the day. A quick find just before the event was starting - happy with that !
Thanks again Wilbert67 !

Fitzy again the eyes, made the grab after poking about a bit. so many spots to investigate!

Thanks for another Wilbert67.
Wandered down to this little hidden bit of coastline after the event. The sea was calm and the views were stunning. The GPS took a little while to settle and as I climbed down and back up the steps, waiting for the muggle and his dog to disappear from view, the CO came along and made my find rather an easy one. I really was going to look there...... really!!! Sneaky hide. I took a short walk across the rock platform to the sea and admired the blue calm water and felt like diving in.
Geo Wife and I attended the "7th Annual Illawarra Get-together & 100" on a slightly overcast morning however the day developed into a most pleasant caching adventure.
Arrived at GZ to find MR and MRS Fish already looking for this elusive cache.
Both our GPSr's had us all over the place but eventually they settled down and we concentrated our efforts. I stumble upon the hiding spot to reveal a very well hidden cache. We all signed the log and replaced it as found.
We encountered a must delightful muggle, a lady who was most interest in this crazy Geocaching adventure.

I was surprised to find this right next to the old house my Dad and I built over 50 years ago, wish we still owned it. While we searched Gazmag arrived and he found it while we chatted to a local about Geocaching and Barrack Point. After signing the log we chatted on with the lady about other houses and changes on the Point. Thanks for the hide in a great location. Except for the Bass Point works, the view is still the same.
Once I realised the cache had to be above storm tide height I quickly found the likely location. A clever hide. TFTC
No luck on this one today, unfortunately muggles kept turning up and we were being watched from an adjacent house. Will have to try again sometime.
we looked high and low for this one (we thought we spent only 10 minutes or so...... 30 minutes in reality) and just when we were going to give up Geojinx says could this be it and yes it was. A clever hide TFTC
Could not find woth roger explosion. Even got in the garden and checked thoroughly
looked and looked.... but alas this one still eluded me... will try again another day...
We did this cache on a very windy Saturday, while our little one was asleep in the car. Found the cache within seconds - sometimes you just guess right. Very clever hide, though. TFTC!
Had a good look......maybe not good enough though as I couldn`t come up with the goods. Cheers.
2nd find for the day - a tricky little hide. The pen was missing from my caching bag, so I was unable to sign the log - will try to get back in the next day or two. TFTC.
Finally.
Limited time but heading past and with a clue from the owner at the annual I was full of confidence but it still eluded me. Even when I looked it in the eye I still wasn't convinced, thought it was a leaf. Sanity prevailed and log signed. Pheeeww.

Five of us, from the 6th Annual ICC, headed off after lunch to find this one. Beautiful day, lovely sea breeze and blue ocean.....purrrfect! TFTC.
Found while attending the 6th Illawarra Geocaching Event. Visited with trackables enjoying the chance to meet local Cachers from this area.
TFTC found with others at the 6th Annual Illawarra / South Coast get together.
Hopped away from the 6th annual Illawarra/South Coast event to find this one. SL TFTC
I arrived early at the nearby event, so went in search of this cache, without luck. This wasn't my first DNF here (but I just noticed I didn't log the first attempt. Oops) so I was wondering what I was doing wrong. As the event wound down a group of Shoalhavenites went to see if we could grab it. We made the find in an EXACT spot I'd checked earlier in the day and somehow missed the cache. Thanks Wilbert.
Great hide, very sneaky. Found myself on the wrong side of things at first but trusted the GPS and was on it in no time. TFTC!
Took a little while to locate, beautiful day watching a bi plane doing aerobatics. Log full, replaced log have old one if you need it. TFTC
Gizmo took me straight to gz. My usual practice when within a few metres of gz is to set gizmo down and let it get a better fix. While doing this my wife (first time cacher) got curious and started looking. Her search gave away the location of the cache. Great Hide!
The log is a bit fragile but managed to get it out, sign it and put it back with out any additional deterioration.

Found at 11.55am GAFF1. With no one around, we could search at ease and just as we started to wonder whether we had to get into the garden, a very nicely hidden cache presented itself. Co-ords are deadly accurate making it a pleasure to find this cache.
Thanks Wilbert67.
Thanks Wilbert67.
Found it! Well not really, sexygirlkel beat us to it! How funny it was to watch her trying to be stealthy, and her watching us "the muggles" just hanging around. There was a short standoff before we had a chat and a laugh. Good find and nice to meet you Sexygirlkel!
Thought I was going to be at this location for a long time but as luck would have it the cache turned out to be in the first place I looked. Also thought I had been busted by some muggles...turns out though they were fellow cachers! Was lovely to meet you guys today Was even funnier when we bumped into each 5 mins later at another cache! lol SL TFTC
This one bamboozled me for a while, until I pafed Webguy, and of cause I was standing next to it wasn't I! Tyanks Webby, and thanks Wilbert67.
2 of 5 today.
Hardest of them all. But only because i didn't look at the cache size. Damn mircos get me every time. I was looking for a hole big enough for a container. Will read more next time. Good little hide.
There was heaps of woodlouse hanging around but the cache is fine.

Found just before meeting up with a local for a walk along the beach.
The cache was tricky at first, but I had it in hand after a short search and thankfully there was no muggles around either.
Another good hide & view from GZ as well.

Thanks Wilbert67 for providing me with the opportunity to discover a great beach location in the Illawarra.
The greatest challenge was waiting for an enthusiastic muggle to complete an exercise program while I was hanging around inappropriately dressed for a beach visit.

Did a check, log is a bit fumbled from not rolling up correctly but other than that all is fine and back of log is still completely empty.
All good to go

Looked around GZ for some time, before we found the (obvious) location of the cache.
It is in need of a new log.
It is in need of a new log.
This cache needs a new log. The old one has been damaged by water and is hard to put back in place, and is also rather full.
4052. [font=Century Gothic][green]Took a while to find where I had to enter as it looked like private property. Once at GZ I was scratching my head and leaned on the cache while pondering. The log is a bit damp but usable.

After the cleanup we took the chance to polish off the couple of caches that we missed at the recent event as we left early . A nice little hide with some nice views. TFTC!

Looked around for this clever cache longer than we thought we would. Whilst Pink Floyd was emanating from a house nearby.
Very clever hide Wilbert67. Many thanks for sharing this cache with us.

I didnt rush and grab this cache when the event was on cause today is one of those days when I had to fill a hole in the caching calendar. That said, I run up and down this everyday so it was only natural that I grab this cache as part of my daily jog. It doesnt get much better - caching, exercise, by the beach, in work time.
Thanks Wilbert

Found cache almost too easy.
Stopped right on it and didnt need to look as it was in the very first place.

We arrived on scene just as the FTF group were putting it back together so didn't really have to search for it.
Went down onto the rocks for a look about and check out some rock pools.

It's always nice to have a couple of caches t find during an event! Chip and I wandered over here very slowly with Dingo, he is still recovering from a knee reconstruction. I have a habit of making simple caches overly complicated. I did exactly that with this cache, but thankfully Chip was there to come up with the find. Alas we did not have a pen and so took a photo of the cache. We then bumped into Krafty Charlie and Gribbly who signed teh log for us.
Cheers

Like many others, found this one soon after it was handed out at the ICC event. Not a FTF or FTL but among the first group to arrive at GZ. We all agreed "a group effort!"
It was just a fluke that found it quick with sevabo and everlasting with no muggles around after the event. Thanks Wilbert67.
Found at the get together with a bit of help putting in the co-ordinates.GPS said it was in one place and after some searching I found it myself TFTC Gotcha16
Reperio at 1245. Received the details for this one at the event, but was enjoying the chit chat to go rushing off after the FTF! Got together with Big Matt, FF, Darwinian and the geopooch, and while FF and I...and the pooch overshot the mark, Darwinian came up with the hide...I blame the pooch for leading us stray.

Wandered over here with Mr Hancock and Spindoc Bob, was hidden how we first suspected but missed it and started to turn our attention to other methods of hiding, was turned up eventually, nice job.

Hoojar, Ding and I to a slow wander to the cache. Once we had arrived we had a quick search but couldn't find the cache, which meant that we had to put some more effort in. Hoojar was convinced it was somewhere in particular (not saying where) and spent most of the time there, and I found it almost by accident while Ding was tied to the stairs.

First to log but by no means the initial finder. Found in the company of Lucy & Roo and Rock Hopper. There were a couple exercising by running up the steps but we interrupted & gave them a breather. Eventually they left & we were able to concentrate our efforts, initially to no avail. Got it in the end with a bit of help. Thanks.

We made a last-minute decision to attend the 5th Annual Illawarra Get together (well, we were bludgeoned into it by Mr_Roo, really).
So, we managed to get a couple of caches on the way there, and quite a few after the event, on our convoluted way home again.
We did much of our caching today in the company of Mr_Roo and Albida, which was a lot of fun!
Joint *FTF* with about 8 other people on this one. Paegle Boy and I were the first to find it, but the others were all helping.

Well this was a nice surprise. After everyone was told at the event about this cache then Albida and I headed over to these new ones. We got there and the cache was found as soon as we got there. So a joint *FTF* with just a cacher, blackbunny, Paegle Boy, and Albida TFTC
A joint *FTF* with half a dozen or so other cachers while at the 5th Annual Illawarra/South Coast Get-together. Pagel Boy and Just a Cacher were discussing the likely merits of this spot and had it quickly to hand. Thanks for the cache Wilbert67
Found in the very pleasant company of Tuena and Rock-hopper, after a gentle nudge in the right direction. Thanks Wilbert67 for the cache.

After a fantastic afternoon at the 5th Illawarra/ South Coast get-together, Tuena, Lucy&Roo and I wandered off to the beach in search of treasure. After spending quite a while looking around the wrong elevation, I reverted to the 'phone-a-friend" option and the cache was then very quickly retrieved.
Thanks Wilbert67 for showing us this lovely beach, and to Tuena & Lucy&Roo for caching company!

Well, I walked to this one with MizMaz and PaegleBoy and was in the vicinity when it was first found TFTC!!
Took off with Gribbly from the event cache to grab this one. Nice place visit therefore a nice place for a cache. Thanks for setting up these caches around the event cache.
Tricky little hide for this cache. A group of three of us looked up and down - and around. I thought one of us had already moved 'that' particular object. Obviously we hadn't. Well crafted and cunningly hidden.
Found this one with Webby & Spindoc whilst attending the nearby event.
