Logs
This was an interesting find, well the location was, at least. Went to grab the cache and found a beehive in the hide. They don't bother me too much but I wasn't about to put my hand in there!
Contacted AmstradKid to verify the location. He has and graciously agreed to give me a "found it". Thanks AmstradKid, I'll sign the log when either the bees are gone or I find the new location.
TFTC but not the bees!

I parked the car up by number 85, and had a pleasant walk along the brook for the entire length of the Ghost Train series. For a regular sized cache in 'the obvious place' this one took me the longest to find haha. Isn't that always the way...
After searching almost everywhere else, including the right location but from the wrong elevation, I approached from a different direction, and spotted where I should have looked, and that's where the cache was.
Thanks for the cache AmstradKid!

This series has been on several lists to attempt on previous forays but we had always run out of time to attempt. Today with iluvtrekking, it was on our 'must do list' and pleased to say we found them all on our first attempt - unlike the Anaconda series. A quick find by the geo-men.
Not quite so easy after encountering a huge red back spider geo kids were not to sure. Loving the ghost train series tftc

Hunting ghost trains today with trevkevred....we had a very noisy greeting walking up to this one and a quick find was made. We were trying to carry on along the creek but gave up and turned around, meeting the lovely swaggies on the way back to the road.

Out with Me&B today on the Ghost Train track. Little B wanted to play with all the dogs along the fence line. Quick find and then on our return trip met the Swaggies. Had a good chat and then it was onto the last one. TFTH Amstradkid
We were just about at GZ when we spotted two people coming the other way. Trust me on this track they could only be fellow geocachers. It was wonderful to meet Me&B whose 'Zoom In' multicaches we love and Trevkevred.
Looking forward to catching up again ladies! Thanks for the cache Amstradkid!

[:(!] Went for a late night of caching before flying out for the Oz Mega Event, parked the geocar close to GZ and walked from there, on arrival at GZ I wondered around for several minutes before I spot the obvious spot and finally I had the cache in hand.

Waded through some long and wet grass - thistles sure are vigorous in this area! - and made my way to the cache. No dogs in sight today. Found the coordinates to be accurate for another nice quick find. Thanks for the hunt AmstradKid.
Day 97.. No.3.....
Quick and easy find.... this would be a nice stretch for a walk path if it wasnt so full of the waste of humans!!!!!!

After reading the logs and seen that AmstradKid had confirmed the cache I gave this a go. An easy find, after a little walk in. SL TFTC
Alls well cache still there checked coordinates and got thrown around a bit until settled
While having some minor repairs to our caravan undertaken nearby we decided to check out some caches in the area. We had no luck with this one today. Our GPS had us near the middle of a clearing. We searched in ever widening circles until exhaustion (or exasperation) set in. We'll place this on our watch list. Thanks for the exercise.
Praked at the end of the street and followed 'Jacaro44's footprints towards the cache site but they seem to have done as much wandering around as I . I couldn't find it and I don't know if they did .
Yes the dogs barked at me, but they aren't scary, found the cache are a short search around, neat hide. TFTC
We were accompanied by barking dogs along the fenceline, they were trying to look vicious but they just weren't the right breed . Made a fairly quick find a little further on than our GPSr showed. Collected the Diabetes Bear TB.
Found it eventually but our gps had us lookin in the wrong spot for ages.residents dogs nearby aren't too nice
Called in today to find the caches in this area. Found cache OK.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
It was nice and cool this morning so I new it would be a great time to knock off this little series. This was our first cache and once I figured out there was no train track to walk on it was easy. Young OptimusCache did the finding on this one.
Nice afternoon walk in the bush. TFTC.

Another FTF!! Yay Again!! Well considering these are practically in our backyard! and where we have been looking at placing a cache!! lol
Anyway, I didn't like the dogs barking at us!! They wouldn't stop!! GPS put us in a certain spot but couldn't find anything, after going back out to the clearing and surveying area the obvious spot showed itself!!

Arranged with Duncdonut73 to head out here early this morning. We spent several minutes searching the GZ before Duncan spotted the hiding place. Learnt that we were 2TF and 3TF. The dogs barking in the distance alerted us to the possible presence of other cachers in the area. TFTC
TFTH Took rock, left frisbee.
Saw Bsurin65, Duncdonut73 and ShortcutHicksy on the way.

Arrived early I thought at what looked like a good spot to park. Other cars and people already there so I wondered over to hopefully meet some other geocachers. Bsurin65 and duncdonut73 had just return and the gradem team were just heading out. So nice to finally meet and talk to fellow geocachers for the first time.
I know one day I will have a FTF but I will have to get up much earlier.
