I parked the car up by Ghost Train 85 and walked along the brook to this one on my way along the series. I was happy to make a quick find here, and didn't encounter any snakes along the way. Thanks for the cache AmstradKid!
This series has been on several lists to attempt on previous forays but we had always run out of time to attempt. Today with iluvtrekking, it was on our 'must do list' and pleased to say we found them all on our first attempt - unlike the Anaconda series. Another easy find.
A nice find jnr geo's are having a ball

A cache that I have been meaning to collect for quite some time, so I decided to scout this one out today. A quick but careful walk was required here as the track was a little muddy, it would be interesting after a bit of rain. As I approached GZ I had this feeling of foreboding as I could see the numerous possible hiding spots. The GPS'r was again being a little touchy, due to the trees here. This one took me a little while to find but a systematic search of the likely objects soon paid dividends. SL TFTC AmstradKid
Hunting ghost trains today with trevkevred.... my little etrex does not like to be under tree cover so it kept jumping around a bit, but once it settled a quick poke with a stick revealed the goods.

Out with Me&B on the Ghost Train track. Nice easy find once Me&B found herself a nice stick. TTFTH Amstradkid
[:(!] Went for a late evening of caching before flying out to the Oz Mega Event, parked the car close to GZ and walked from there, on arrival at GZ, the GPS was spot on and the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes. TNLNSL TFTH/TFTH
Went straight to this one, didn't search well enough and after 15 mins came back to the first spot I looked and found it

Continuing down from previous cache was most pleased to cross of yet another DNF from my list. It wasn't where I expected it to be, which is probably why I missed it last time, so I am learning that preconceived ideas often lead to sad little blueys. Thanks for another hunt AmstradKid.
This one is nice and watertight. Was not in original location but have left there for an easier find.

Looked at the obvious spot, the mangeled grass tree, but didnt stretch out to far, will be back to try again.........and see if I can find them sunnies!
If there is a choice of four that is how many I'll check before finally selecting the correct location! However it was a nice day for strolling through the scrub. TFTC
It's good to do an easy one after coming from a hard one.But what is hard for one is often, you no the rest
Found cache easily. We went down the wrong path originally but soon found our way to this cache
The comment about the grass trees threw me but found the cache once I started looking in other places. TFTC.
My GZ was slightly out but looked at the obvious spot nearby and found the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Tough find, GZ was out by a few meters. A thorough looking over finally yielded cache. Nabbed GC. TFTC
Easy find after nice stroll. Thanks for taking us out here Amstrad kid. Sure are a lot of big engines sitting around that have seen better days. Dropped GC. TFTC.
For some reason this was the easiest one to find for me. Probably because the kids had almost had enough so I was under pressure to make the quick find.
Nice afternoon walk in the bush. TFTC.

There are times when you walk into an area and go straight to the cache, then there are other times
when you stand on the cache, check the area... check it again, curse under your breath, check the
same area again that the GPS is insisting is the spot, curse out aloud.... Then you phone a friend who
did the caches in the area that day and get some direction... only to find it in the same spot you had
checked (just not well enough) at least 10 times before... Alls well it was found at last.

Yay!! Another FTF!
After not much luck last night went with the early morning light today! This was about 6m away from where the GPS and phone were pointing to for GZ.
But an obvious place when you stand back and survey the area!!
