Went to place cache back in its home, to find that council workers had destroyed its hide hole.
Will find it a new home soon

Both logbooks are absolutely saturated so unfortunately some maintenance is required.
This was the second of two while on the way to my bowelling tonight. The spot-on coordinates had me right at the cache but alas, both logbooks were absolutely saturated and I poured about a dessert spoon of water out of the container. I was just able to get my name and the date into logbook #2 before the pen started to cark it so some TLC is definitely needed here.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Cycling_guy.

Enjoyed this one, although wasn't too hard for the Moose, as the container is very familiar to him in his line of work. This park is a lovely, big, well-utilised space. Thanks for bringing us here. Log is extremely wet, water in both bags. May need some maintenance. TFTC. TNLN.
A straightforward find - helped by having found previous examples or this kind of container and building one of my own (not yet placed) Signed log and left my signature path-tag. Replacing it was a little more troublesome with some muggles passing through - had to take a little walk and return it in a break in the traffic. TFTC
Decided to do a few caches while on my way home from work.
This was my last cache for the day. Parked in the nearby street and walked to GZ. My initial thoughts was the co-ordinates were out because it was leading me to the middle of the field, I thought I know where it will be and walked over to the large tree and started searching. No was there. Checked the other trees with still no success. Continued seaching and then finially found it.
There was a little water in both log bags, but the log book is still OK.
Thank You Cycling Guy for the cache.

Went along today but couldn't find it. Probably didn't look hard enough though, as it was raining on me and I wasn't enjoying it. I'll have to try again another time. Thanks anyway.
Very nice spot here, just did a quick drive by. thanks for bringing me here.
3:01 PM, 2/09/11
This was my third attempt at this one, first time in the rain and dark, second time, just dark, and today during the day really helped with the find. Found a nice spot to sit on the grass and relax for a while.
Nice cache, well hidden, sneaky.
Thanks to cycling guy for the hide, this was my 28 th day in a row of finding a cache.

We weren't looking for this cache but we were on a bike ride and took a wrong turn and happened to pass by. After a bit of messing around the trees finally noticed the cache at 3:25. Excellent camo!! TFTC

Find #179
Already running late to my monthly poker night with some other henchmen who sometimes cache and I noted that this hide was just off the road I was on.
As it was do close I thought I had better do the correct thing and quickly stop and make the find. C:geo has ben playing up a lot lately, and I could not get a gps read on it at all. Wandered around aimlessly for a while until the technology decided to play nice, and looking at previous logs the nature of this hide was apparent, if not easy in the dark.
A few minutes later and the log was signed and I was on my way.
Thanks for the cache.

Loved the location! I was so busy working out how to extract a cache from another rather large and suspect object that I was totally off track ! After 5 minutes a local popped his head over the fence and said "its not there!" try the next one! After laughing at myself it was a nice quick find. TFTC SL
Found @ 11:40 on my 3rd attempt as on my previous attemps it had been muggled. Quick find today. TFTC. SL
wanting to do my 4 caches at lunchtime, pushing to get to kinder pickup. had to call a friend,to pick up for me. i was only minutes away.

Tried for this one when it was first placed but was thwarted by a flighty GPS, too many muggles and somebody rebuilding a roof near GZ. Better luck today - met the owner for a chat but still nearly beat myself by looking for the obvious. In hind-sight the name makes more sense now. TFTC.
Rob and I have seen a few like this in our time. The nearby log looked like it had been searched over too.
A good container though mould has infiltrated the housing and the logsheet.
Still easily signable though.
Thanks

Been to this park many time, a few for caches before.
A short stroll, and the cache was soon in hand.
A log was a bit damp (these containers don't really keep water out!)
Thanks, Robmc.

This was a very clever hide which I did not find straight away as I was overthinking how it would be done. One of the best of this type which I have seen so far. There were no Muggles about this morning due to the weather which made the logging of the cache easy. TFTC Cycling guy.

Like otheres i was drawn to a rather nice looking log before we finally trusted the gps and found the cache. Thanks Cycling_guy for the cache.
Found with geokid after a bit of a search. Not where we were expecting, especially at this park. Thanks Cycling_guy for the clever hide.
For once essieg got to make the find before her rascally brothers. She really liked this one. TFTC
We found this cache today at 12:25pm as the 5th of 8 on our Mini Sunday Lunchtime Caching Jaunt. We were preoccupied with the large log for a while before moving a few metres to the east for a nice little find. The old cache "Ghost Watchers" used to sit only about 50m south of this spot which we found over 2,800 finds ago. Thanks from D & H B-A.
Tftc. Had 15mins b4 tennis & decided 2 go 4 this cache. Found easily within my allotted time frame.
Found at 14:26 while I was out bike riding. Nice little hide. Was meant to be the start of an afternoon of caching but turned out to be my only find. Funnily enough the last time I set foot in this park involved some teenage romance quite some years back now. TFTC
Took a while for us to work this one out. Very clever hide! Picked up the Geocoin. Thanks.
Nice quick find right where it was supposed to be. Great hide. Heard about these but never seen one before. TFTC. SL. Ta.

Looked around for a while before spotting this one at 9:30am. Only a couple of muggles to contend with before replacing the cache.

What a day! Managed to find a gap in the showers (showers??? RAIN!) and sauntered along to the park, dodging a couple of doggie types. Co-ords were spot on, even if GZ did look a little epmty at first. Ziploc had been holed and log was slightly damp. Replaced bag and donated some dessicant to try to keep it dry. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Nice hide but not tricky enough for us to spot at

My GPS took me to an object which had plenty of hiding spots. I checked them all in fine detail, but still couldn't not locate the cache. I considered the phone a friend option, but widened my search. As soon as I did I spotted it. If only I'd been led there, I would have had the cache in seconds, not 5 - 10 minutes. There are plenty of caches like this these days, and as soon as I see one, I immediately suspect it. Thanks for the cache.
Found with HangFire7 and dnteychenne at 7:10pm, it was raining and dark which made the search harder. Loved how well it was hidden, its amazing what people think to use for caches. TFTC
Really enjoyed this clever hide, it was well constructed to keep it in place.
Had to empty a bit of water out of the cache container, but the log is still dry even though the bag is damaged.
Thanks for bringing me to this pleasant park and for the cache.

Doing some GPS / Navigation training - I intorduced geocaching to the team. From our depot about ~940m away as the GPS arrow points ! I asked the guys using 6+ etrax, a couple of Garmin Vistas, an Oregon300 and a Magellen to go stand at GZ - it was good to see the variation. With a dozen opions it wasn't long before the cache was in hand.
My thanks again Cycling_guy for your cache (Cheers king Jr)

We'd done one of these before so it didn't take too long to figure it out. Found with Jackam. TFTC
Out caching with caughtatwork today, this was our only DNF.
There was dog-walker who knew what we were doing, but did not know where this cache was, so no help was coming our way!
I think we checked all the obvious places & then anywhere else, but no luck.
Oh well. We'll have to try it again some time.

This cache was simply too clever for The Mini Mob and I here today. Put aside by the potential change/inaccurate co-ordinate logs, we gave the area (and some distance away) a going over, but nothing was to be revealed to us here today.
Finally!!! This one really shouldn't have had me stumped for do long but after trying to find it the day it went live I've returned a few times only to be stumped each time. Luckily Daryllm found it yesterday and with a little hint from his family this morning at school I was able to return this arvo and knock it over easily (thanks James). I can't believe it took me so long it's really not that hard!!! Great hide CyclingGuy TFTC
#527 Another creative cache. I must admit I found it easily as it is the same as one of mine which I had to archive as muggles kept destroying it. As I said with the last cache of yours we did, I do enjoy finding different and creative hides. Left Castor de l'Estrie mini coin. Thanks Cycling_guy.
Heading out after work for a quick cache, I had spent some time trying to find the Kooyongkoot Creek cache, but too many muggles meant I never had a chance to search properly. Drove over to this one hoping for a less muggley area. Thankfully, only a few people at the other end of the park. Headed for the GZ and noticed a previous log about coords being out. This misguided me and I spent a long while looking in what was a very typical and classic cache hid. After about 10 mins I gave up on that spot and sat down to have a think. About then I noticed a guy heading toward me with definite purpose in his stride, and a smile on his face. Just as I was thinking he has to be a cacher, he called out “doing some geocaching?” I nodded and he said, “Yeah this is my one, want some help?” With a nagging shoulder injury getting more and more painful I was very thankful for the help. Cycling guy pointed me in the right direction and we had a good chat as I signed the log. Was great to meet you Cycling guy, thanks for the cache and the onsite cache assistance service!
Found 1439. Great hide - very tricky - went with the gut feeling when I finally saw it!!! Obviously like making us think about we the cache is! Thanks Cycling guy for making us think outside the usual cache box!! SL TFTC
Out on a caching run with lochb, we were very sure of the hide however the location eluded us.
With a previous finder suggesting 'off' co-ords, we gave in a phoned a friend. Whilst lochb was chattning, I made the find - doh!
I made another reading, but I'm not sure how accurate it will be with lots of clouds in the sky this day.
Thanks Cycling_guy for this cache.

PrincessDiala and I had an idea what we were looking for, but someone the cache eluded us. A quick call to a previous finder (who had already helped someone else this weekend), and we had the cache in hand. TFTC, a very nice hide!
King and King with Geoprince
Pretty poor form on our behalf we had not been caching for 2 weeks !!!! So today king and king with geoprince got together for a couple in preparation for a small trip next week.
After spending a while at our last cache and if it hadn't been for Coffee and Cache it would have been a DNF. C&C also had a gnome that we picked up from them - our thanks - we were on our way home when as usual I said "how about just one more" (sound familiar?) anyway we arrived at GZ and were looking in the wrong spot for a while, so we we rang C&C for a clue - which was really lazy on our behalf - as we had see this type of container before - we just didn't put enough effort in...
Our thanks to Coffee and Cache and to Cycling_guy we used to live not too far from GZ but that was a few years ago now...

7.10 Did not need to rush home tonight so a did the geotrail. Good to see there has been one replanted in this park. People were enjoying the play equipment as I went by. Getting closer to GZ there was the typical spot just calling out. Silly me, not there at all. Nice little hide, well done.
Thanks for the cache.

Out for a night caching run with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy) and fellow local night cacher C@H. A nice green and grassy park and a nice quick night find. Thanks for the hide.
Another night caching run, now with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671) and C@H. Another one found on our nightly travels. TFTC.
Received a hint from the owner, so we went back out this morning since it's not too far from home and had another look. Still took a little while even with a pretty good idea of what we were looking for. Should really have found it the first time, but just wasn't in the grove.
Nice cache - Thanks Cycling guy.

What a clever hide, though reading the logs certainly helped in this hunt. GZ is a long way from the playground which means muggles aren't a huge issue. SL TFTC

This one had me tricked for a minute in this lovely green park, I searched a wide area but was unable to locate the cache, read previous logs, rechecked and still no joy so I went back to the car to get the phone to give a friend a call. He had just answered when I saw the well hidden cache, how did I miss that?
Thanks again for the cache

We will put this DNF down to the sun explosion and the effect on gps. Yeah drawing a long bow we know! Will return tomorrow a little better armed.
2nd DNF in a row for me today. Maybe I'm just not in the grove. Of course the cache may not be there, but judging by the previous comments, maybe just too clever for me (or for a 1.5?). I searched a few likely places, but no joy. Maybe I'll hang out for a hint.
Thanks Cycling guy - we've e been to this park a couple of times for a cache - ti's a nice spot.

Another Friday night - another after work cache run with caching mate Slink1 Righteous find! TFTC SL
After dropping MMelb off at Youth Group and having a quick toasted sandwich for tea, we headed out to grab some caches hopefully before the rain hit.
This was our last one for the night as we had spent a bit of time at the first one chatting with other cachers and so as we were driving to this one it was starting to get darkish at about 8.40.
On the way walking to the cache it was really getting dark and we were thinking we might have to do this one another time but seeing we were this close we decided to try anyway.
The excellent co-ords put us in the right area and after a minute or so GMelb spotted the clever hide. JMelb was impressed by this considering how dark it was by now and we didnt have a torch!!
TFTC Cycling Guy - we are enjoying your clever hides!

Out on another Friday caching run with Dunko after work and once at GZ the cache was found and logged TFTC
Green is the word - the grass is positively lush and cushiony. Alansee and I poked around the area where it seemed the cache would be, but after taking a step back and regrouping, found the terrific hide. I like the packaging - no question as to whether it's the cache or not.
Thanks for a terrific hide, Cycling guy. [^]

I have been noting with all this rain how MUCH greener Melbourne is than usual at this time of year. Like others we looked at one item but with the help of good coords Listmaker soon found what is a well set up example of this genre. Thanks Cycling_guy.

It's tough trying to keep up with new caches these days, so it's lucky I can manage to fit a few into my trips to work sometimes. Today, I left a little earlier than usual with the intention of doing 4 on the way in. This was the first, and only involved a short detour to a park that I can remember visiting once before for a cache (something about Ghosts, I think it was). It was a lovely morning and there was a lot of bird-life about, including a number of Rainbow Lorikeets right near GZ - where I think they were nesting. While they looked on, I managed to spot something that looked slightly suspicious and, soon after, was logging my find.

*FTF* with Covert at 2.55pm, we'd arranged to meet at my work as I had a few hours quiet in the arvo and I was keen to have a go at the other FTF that was availabe on Valley of Darkness abit further north. This one ensured that we were straight out the door of my work and quickly pointing my car in the direction of this cache... I made the easy find, and agree that its be best executed one of these that I've found.. Thanks Cycling Guy FTC. dipped FTF tracker..
I had just caught up with Spladem when this one tuned up at 2:40pm not to far away. Once we got our gear together we headed right to GZ and arrived at 2:55pm to find an empty log book. *FTF*. Spladem made the find as I looked elsewhere in vain. TFTC
FTL First to log! We arrived and found that Spladem and C@H had a joint FTF.

Cycling_guy had informed me that a new cache was coming online, so I was prepared - but unlike his previous I hadn't a clue what the MO for this one would be...
Received the email that it had been published while at work, and an sms from cycling_guy soon after. I knew that delaying it would make the FTF unlikely, but had little choice. Nevertheless, I had some errands to run anyway so got out of work a little early and spun past here first. Remember this park well from driving past it so much, and the old 'Ghost Watchers' cache that I found here a while back, which wasn't too far from this one. Took a nice stroll through the VERY lush green grass today and started searching a spot which looked likely, but no luck. Regrouped and then spotted another likely hide, and bingo! Opened the logbook excitedly but, drats!! Beaten by covert and spladem. What a surprise (not!).
Still, a good find. I've seen about 3 of these types of hides now, and this has to be the best executed by a long stretch...
