A lovely area to visit. If it wasn't for caching I probably would never visit the spot. Thanks for placing.
#18310. There were a few hint objects to choose from, but it didn't take long to track down the cache. We enjoyed exploring the area. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 3 of our 4 day trip to Oamaru and environs. The day started with a hard frost, but soon warmed up into yet another lovely winters day. The agenda today included Cape Wanbrow, Devil's Bridge plus a puzzle cache find which I needed for my final puzzle "dot" day .
A quick find for SW while I checked out the wrong place. TFTC.

Thank you for bringing us to this amazing little place. Plenty of birds to watch, and peaceful surroundings. Of course we had to go and get the more challenging ones, didn't we?
Quick find. Saw Devil's Bridge on the map and looked interesting. Will wait and see.
Nice wee find thank you! Wasn’t going to go looking today but after my 3year old cried to go geocaching I thought why not. Thank you
Another busy Oamaru Geofest day.
CITO first followed by some town caches.
Then tracking north to find all the ones I didn't find on Friday.
Now heading SW again to make new discoveries.
A quick find here.

As the rain started to fall... others called it a day. But i still had my cache pants on... wanting to get a few more under the belt. Phone had no signal so couldn't read description or hint, although quickly found. Agree with previous DNF'er, a Cito could do wonders here. Signed as TTT.
The Trans Tasman Team is having a wonderful day, caching all over the place! Thanks to the organizers of the Geofest for bringing us here, and all of the cache owners for putting out so many !!!
In Oamaru for the Geofest.
Day #2 out and about with Gadget169 and sirbennis.

what a beautiful quite spot and the log book is saturated and needs replacing but managed place my monogram tftc Mr bitsprayer
Unfortunately there is a lot of shit at GZ and as I was looking around I got a fairly decent gash on my right hand from the not of rusty wire I there .. I know how to seristrip and bandage (so does Mrs abxt350) .this cache site could probably do with a bit of CITO work before I come back.
There are plenty of cache like containers around GZ.It took a bit of looking to find the real cache. Of course it was in the first place I looked. Must look more thoroughly next time. The lake is looking a lot more weedy since the last time I visited. Cheers
Bother the weather. Showers off and on all day, gumboots a must! Had a great couple of days caching too, though slightly wet at times.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

What an idyllic spot - the green grass, the last of the autumn yellow still on the , the sheep in the paddocks and ducks on the pond. Took a while before finally finding it in a place already searched but not well enough. TFTC #8821
Wow! amazn views. Made my son's day...got a cap gun to swap and I got a real pirates coin. So much fun!!!!!
Found it at a great lake with black swans and various varieties of ducks. M went back to car to get lunch bags as this looks like a great spot for lunch.
Found with Chosen1978. Quick find at a glorious spot. lots of water birds on the lake today. TFTC
A day Geocaching in North Otago from Dunedin. Aiming to achieve 30+for my second highest one day total. Having to move to other places further North to get a better runs of Park and Grabs. 17/20 #873
This was another one that was found in a place that geograndad swore he had already looked at. Found with debsnz

DNF. Was in the area with Mrs Yeetrees trying to do a few caches around the outskirts of Oamaru and this was one of the caches that we had on our list to do. After a couple of DNF in the Devils Bridge walkway we decided that we needed a short break an had some lunch while we enjoyed the views over this lovely spot and watched the ducks swim around the lake quite happily. After finishing lunch we drove around to the next entrance to this lovely walkway arriving near GZ we managed to find a carpark at the entrance of the walkway and it was a short easy stroll to near GZ, but after arriving at GZ and after a quick search we came up empty handed, what a lovely spot, but it wasnt going to be our day today , another DNF in this lovely walkway and this was 3 out of 3, not good maybe this spot wasn't willing to reveal it caches to us today, oh well will leave this one to the next time I am in the area, thanks for bringing me to this lovely spot.
We enjoyed the day caching in this area
Tftfun
So many caches done to remember all, but got a kick out of all that we found (0ver 600 in 8 days)

Found as part of a great day in and around Oamaru. Still reckon this is the best caching area I have ever encountered. Original standard set by Bitsprayer, but now a few others adding to the story. Many thanks to all!
Was quite chilly today. But we did some geocaching anyway. Stopped by the Devil's Wetlands and took a stroll. Visited by TB453N7. TFTC
Missed the first park so parked in the second park to discover we were close to this cache. With a new stile under construction as we closed on GZ was a little worried but all well. Plenty of waterfowl.
Cool spot. some passion going in here. they may not approve, but added a toy gun so some kid can "shoot" the birds !!
A nice, easy find to begin our cache hunt in the Devil's Wetlands, thank you!
On a caching trip with ingidayna to Oamaru and surrounds to get 1000 finds. Took TB. Nice spot. TFTC
I really like this area. one of many to get 1000 caches TFTC found with wethreefourdices.
Another place we would never have seen if not for geocaching. And I thought appropriate to drop a Moa Tb! TFTC
Got this one OK, but decided the others better be done with daylight and some energy... I'm on my last legs.
Thank you for placing this cache.

A quick easy find at this location we have visited before, although the pathways have become considerably overgrown, especially with thistles, since our last visit. TFTC

This was the only find on Devil's Bridge, but we come back! A firmer nearby was hunting, hope he did not aim in our direction. TFTC
3830. All quiet and peaceful around her today. There was just a gentle ripple on the lake with a few swans taking their cygnets for a glide around the water.
We left a Jeep TB.
Thanks

All quiet here when I arrived just before 10am. I guess that all the duck shooters were here much earlier. Nice lake and walking pathways.
Plenty of ducks on the pond making lots of noise. Nice location overlooking the lake. TFTC
Last cache for a long day as we made our way to Bitsprayers for the evening. Cheers Gav [7566]
A nice evening for a wee walk and evidently kayaking too as there were quite a few on the shore further down. Far enough away that the discovery was made in peace.
Thanks

*FTF* Love the peace of this area. Nice hide - a lot of distractors to choose from and put one off the game? In TB
