The log-book is becoming increasingly difficult/impossible to retrieve so I'm disabling this one while I work out what to do with it....
It sure is stuck we weren’t able to get to it either our hands were too clumsy to get the log book out to just a quick visit and we left it as is thanks
Dropped by for a quick check. It's amazing how quickly things can change! Only 6 months ago the cache could easily be taken out from its hiding spot, but now it is indeed stuck as the tree grows around it. The log-sheet is still accessible so I'll leave it active for the time-being, but I'll need to either move the log-sheet to a smaller container or find different hiding spot for it soon, as I fear that the tree is slowly consuming the cache.
Fun to find however the only way to sign log is to unscrew top off as it is no longer able to come out of the hiding place. TFTC
Fantastic little hide! On my way to this I nearly stepped right into a European Wasp nest, please watch where you are putting your feet folks, those little dudes are pretty aggressive. I'll be reporting their location to the local landcare, in the meantime I have put a stick upright into the stump they are coming from and placed a bike reflector on top of the log, mostly so it can be found so these introduced monsters can be appropriately dealt with.
Tried to include an image of the nest location but of course it won't upload -_-;
Enjoyed a lovely walk in the oak forest afterwards, still shedding leaves in preparation for winter.

I started today fairly seedy. I had enjoyed some port around my campfire the previous night and not got going as early as I had hoped. But I had decided to just amble along.
With sunlight fading I set up to do the last few caches for the day before I’d have to start looking for a spot to camp tonight.
Wow, that was hard to get out. The tree is moving slowly and the cache was trapped inside in its hollow as the tree is slowly crushing it. Might need to find a new hiding spot.

Found at 2.30pm, before lockdown at midnight, which has thrown our weekend plans to one side. Have to go home this evening. We found the first 100 acre cache near here in 2006. It is interesting to see how the area has been developed. The oak trees are still magnificent to walk through. Walking to the cache we had to take a detour to avoid a wedding party having photos taken. Once at GZ finding the cache was easy enough. Getting it out of its hidey hole took some effort. The lid had not been screwed on so I extracted that first.
Thanks for bringing us back here, however so briefly.

After the recent DNF I decided to check up on this one since it should have been an easy find. However the coordinates took me to an area which bore no resemblance to my memory of when I found the cache several years before adopting it. I now know that this is because the hide had changed since then. However the coordinates of the newer hide took me to the wrong side of the creek and I found myself searching among a wall of blackberry bushes which wasn't very pleasant. I eventually made the re-find of what's now my own cache after walking around to the other side of the creek and using the descriptive hint. I did a quick check of the coordinates there and updated them accordingly but the tree cover could be interfering with the coordinates so I'm very open to feedback about this. Please note that the cache is on the north side of the creek!
Coordinates changed from:
S 36° 59.816 E 144° 17.198
Coordinates changed to:
S 36° 59.813 E 144° 17.202
Distance from original: 26.7 feet or 8.2 meters.
The original coordinates had me on the wrong side of the creek so updating these so future searchers won't find themselves searching among the blackberry bushes!

YAPIDKA! Taking the long way to get somewhere but keen to check out the talked about mountain bike trails of Harcourt. So after exploring the trails and dodging rain drops could not pass up a clutch of caches in an unusual oaky park. Initial approach WRONG. The contour lines and misleading creek junction had me on the wrong side facing a wall of blackberries. Reassessment and plan B - off through long grass to arrive at GZ and locate the prize. TFTC and fun! ( Apologies for very late log. Just happen to be in another LOCKDOWN and have some DOWNTIME and discovered a list of DRAFTS! )
I dunno if my gps was playing up but I tried to find it. Unfortunately long hair and BlackBerry bushes don't mix. I'll have to come back to this one another time.
Nice find together with Parkermon. Lovely spot, we left a rubber duckie.

Found with exportswede. A very neat hide in a beautiful part of the world. Very bark. Much cone. Many plant. TFTC!
An edit to our find log. Watch out for the bee hive. Got stung on the walk out from the cache. The hive is inside the 30m radius to the cache and you have to walk past it if you are coming in from the camp ground area.
An afternoon of caching with becca85, my kids (AdamSistema and LukeSistema) and her kids (neisha07 and boo09) saw TeamClarmensma form for some caching fun and adventure. Quick find here in a gorgeous location. Thanks for the cache.
Polhey_moley did the hard work on this one as we found ourselves on the wrong side (somehow??) of the river bank. Team work does indeed make the dream work (provided your dream is to find a cache) TFTC
Out and about with the OGomells on a morning adventure. We parked about 100m from this cache. However we made hard work of getting to GZ by not looking at the map carefully and ending up walking about 300m. Got there in the end. TFTC
Nice little hide!
Came up this morning for an adventure in the snow, wasn't disappointed.

Found it, lid wasn't on properly so as I pulled it out it fell down the hill quick trip down to pick it all up. Took the travel bug and put a toy back, can't wait to hide the travel bug in a new place
For a 1.5 terrain I most surely went the wrong way.. reminds me of my school years climbing over and under rocks and getting my guts ripped out with blackberry bushes.. happy days. Thanks for the cache Morris. Didn't even know this place existed. Gonna have to take the mountian bikes here for sure!
Camping here for a few days on holidays. Absolutely ripper spot among the oak trees. Nice walk to the cache. TFTC.
Cache #64
TFTC, got a little bit confused but eventually found it with the help of a friend!

On a well earned break in Castlemaine and I’m spending the time just touring the whole area, enjoying the sites and picking up caches as I go.
There were a few bikes around today either on the tracks or on the roof of cars.
A nicely developed area with the couple of tracks I saw looked like a fun place to ride.
Thanks The Morris TFTC.

On our way to Bendigo for our weekly granddaughter looking after duties, we stopped off in the Harcourt area for a bit of caching.
After finding the Monumental Delight, we walked back to the car, and just kept going to find this one.
An interesting location, and the clue helped a lot.
This was the 7th of 7 for the afternoon here.
**Thanks for placing this cache The Morris**

Thanks The Morris.

Along with many like minded geocachers, we braved the wet and windy winter weather of International Geocaching Day to add a few more smiley tokens to our geo-map.
Didn't we make a meal of this! If there is a 'wrong" way to approach a GZ we will find it - that is definitely what happened today. After we got past the prickly blackberries, fallen branches and steep creek crossings there was no turning back! After checking out two spots that seemed to match the hint we finally found the cache and then the clue made perfect sense.
Satellites today had our GZ 10 metres SW of where we found the cache.
Thanks to 'The Morris' for the hunt and cache placement

Found lots of evidence of digging at gz. Then read logs. Moved to next gz and no luck
I found the bee hive after a reasonable search because, even though the finding device kept jumping around, it kept leading me back to here.. . Luckily I used a stick to investigate the hole before putting my hand in! I then followed the directions of the previous finder had relocated the cache out of harm’s way . I found two likely spotand searched them again. I couldn’t find a cache anywhere there or several other locations near and further away.
I was impressed with this Oak forest in late Autumn colours.

Found the bees, but didn't find the cache. CO should try to find. Previous relocator might be able to shed some light?
Walk in the bush down the gully up the gully and repeat. TFTC. Easier walk out no going down and up gully.
Its fair to say that I chose the most difficult path to this cache. Had I parked up the road a little further I would have avoided 2 steep banks...but it was good exercise! I love this area - thank you for bringing me here The Morris and thank you for the cache
Found today on a caching day with Scarketlake14. While he was running around frantically taking pictures I sauntered over tho the cache and found it easily. A nice little spot here, thanks for showing it to us
NoonaB found this one long before I got there as I was frenetically taking photos of oaks with the sun on their canopies! Thanks for the find
Wasn't actually caching but just looking around the forest when MagickalMumma13 literally stumbled along n found it lol! Tftc
I used to take my kids to a spot in Adelaide we called the Hundred Acre Wood. There is a cache by the same name which I haven't found. This one had just the right feel to it. My friend Migiboo was keen to come here and was very happy to make the find as well.
We had to get petrol in Harcourt, then Fourw drove us up a bumpy track. I had been here before and it was good there was a cache here. I found it and swapped some plastic dinosaur toys.
Some years back I lived in this area and the oak forest wa one of my favourite places, especially when the trees are in leaf, so it was lovely to have an excuseto revisit this magical place TFTC The Morris
Found with Reesylou & her geokid. 3rd for the day. Watch out for the mozzies. TFTC
Found with my boy and his best mate on a chilly August evening! Love this spot!

I went one side of the creek, the Moose went the other. Turns out he was on the right side, but thankfully there wasn't much water in the creek, so I could cross easily. Loved the note by the Viking re-enacters. Thanks for bringing us to this place, another one we wouldn't have found without caching.
Found it 1556 with JulieNicholson8 after a nice little drive and bush walk. What a beautiful spot. Will definitely come back here. How's the serenity!?! Quick and easy find. TNLN. TFTC The Morris
Find # 3185 @ 1334 H
After a visit to Maldon to finish off the SL trail and to grab a couple of others. It was still early in the day so I decided to head over to Harcourt to grab a few smileys along the Calder.
Well looking at all the destruction leading up here I didn't think I could get to any caches but taking the left turn all was clear. sadly the right turn was still covered with big trees that had fallen down.
After getting close enough and parking the ute I was soon hot footing it to GZ for a quick little find.
