Oh, if only these old building could talk. What stories of woe they would tell. Stood on tippy-toes to peer inside.T4TC
TEMBO! and I managed a stop at the cache "Crying in the Chapel". At the Moment Nobody was Crying. Thanks to Lostmonster & Co for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
Very cute chapel. The sheep seemed more interested in this, than in the recently-chopped wheat.
No crying here today, although there was a bell heard ringing.
Cute little chapel to explore to break up our trip.

Another historical site that we pass regularly… but have never stopped to have a look. So thanks for taking us there!
Caching around the area with +Wife after attending the Rutherglen Event.
We decided to stick around for another couple of days and see what else we could find.
This was one of them.
Working our way through the area on our way home.
Thanks for the cache, Lostmonster & Co.

I had been given a nights accommodation with a couple of the Canberra boys, Loci and Seb. It was a fun night and I feel asleep in front of the fire. We woke in the morning to grab a couple of local caches before we hit town. the boys were off to ride the bike trail. I meet up with James and we went off and did a couple of labs and caches to the south and east. We all grouped up after lunch and raced around grabbing a few of the remaining caches in town before Seb and I headed towards Canberra.
It was a really long day and for some reason we kept missing the food stops but got in the cache stops. A few tree climbs a few unusual stops and we finally got to Canberra by 9pm. Thanks for a great day to my caching buddies and to the CO’s for the variety of hides.

This is a lovely chapel which we have often passed when visiting or cousins nearby. It is great to be able to log a cache here and also create a waypoint.
Thank you for placing the cache here. The log is very full after the finds from the Mega.

Over in Rutherglen for the Mega! No shop on this trip, so we had a chance to get out and about! Our last day today, and before packing up, hooking up and heading off, we decided to finish off an Adlab that we started yesterday, and of course grabbing the caches on the way! A quick find here, lovely little church and the log was full! TFTC
After lunch we set off again to find more FTF info and some caches south and east of Rutherglen. This was one. Nice little Church

A lovely little chapel.
I was fortunate enough to be invited on a roadtrip from Adelaide to attend the Rutherglen mega. Across the week we cached with many different teams and signed the log various ways, but most often my own team name/ initials, or as Fabulous Randoms. I spent most of our time with GoodLook, LiB and feathertop, but also teamed up with AnyMules, Brisal, micaparamedic and others.
What a beautiful area of the world to explore via the lens of geocaching.
Thank you very much for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Heaps of tumble weeds in the back of the church. We may have rung the church bell whilst in the area collecting this and other caches.
Today was another FABULOUSly RANDOM girls day out. LiB, feathertop, TheDame and myself joined forces and our logs have been stamped "Fabulous Randoms".
We also ran into a number of other teams today whilst out and about. A number of caches were on our hit list and yours was one of them.
Thanks so much for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find.

Exploring rural North East Victoria and South West New South Wales as part of the SPINZ team: Sidewaze, paddle chick, Isis58 and Nanzie from New Zealand. I’m really enjoying the landscape and seeing what goes on in this neck of the woods. All the different eucalypts, the pepper trees and other interesting plants. The colourful birds, some quite noisy and some very noisy. The many vistas - - beautiful in sunlight and shade. I loved visiting each and every cache and really appreciate the effort required to hide and maintain them. Thanks to the cache owners. Greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand, happy caching and if you have yet to visit us across the ditch to see what we have to offer, do make sure you enter such a visit on your “to do” list.
It’s MEGA time! I’m in town with hundreds of other teams to enjoy the Rutherglen Mega. Plenty on offer, plenty to do, and another great Geocaching Victoria event. This is just one of the caches added to the collection on the adventure.
Got a little wet finding this cache!

Unfortunately the chapel door was locked so we couldn't go inside but we did get a good look in through the windows. Sidewaze rang the chapel bell - you know what the "old folks" have to say about that! A very enjoyable stop on our way further afield. Picked up caches today with Marchwood and Agazo while in the area caching and attending the Mega at Rutherglen. This was an easy find as we travelled out to this area on our way back to our accommodation at Chilton.
Kiscardi, Marchwood and I headed out to the east of Rutherglen so that these caches didn't get neglected. TFTC.
Back down south for another mega weekend!! Great to be able to visit the area again and enjoy some caching and catching up with friends. Cached with loads of different people over the weekend and checked out the local yummies. Out on the hunt with GLISS! today. Always a blast. Thanks to all the cache owners who set and maintained the caches. Great to have been able to add this one to my collection. Thanks for the cache.
Decided to have a few days in Rutherglen before the mega so we could spend our time at Easter doing mega mania stuff.

We planned to get down to Rutherglen to try and collect all the caches in the area before the mega so we could relax a little more as Mega’s always seem to be a little hectic. With the Canberra day long weekend on the horizon a plan was hatched, and accommodation was found. Our attack group ended up consisting of Rapidlywild, DARKSIDEDAN, Sui_001 and only half of the FurfacesLL team as the other member is broken, seems we are taking turns. We ended up collecting all the trails we had intended to do and many others in varying shapes and sizes and types.
After finishing up the Brolga Bill's Bike Trail (BBBT), the Brolga Bill's Puzzles (BBP) and the Rutherglen Beginner Challenges with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506 we went our own ways. We spent the rest of the day driving around collecting everything and anything we came across. All caches this afternoon were signed AB+G's (Adventure Boys and Girls) This team consisted of DSD, Sui_001, Rapidlywild and myself. A very enjoyable and successful afternoon of caching.

Plans were put in place for a Rutherglen attack over the Canberra day long weekend with the FurfacesLL, DSD and Sui. We spent 4 days away from home and collected a number of caches of various varieties.
After attacking the Brolga Bill's Bike Trail (BBBT), the Brolga Bill's Puzzles (BBP) and the Rutherglen Beginner Challenges with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506, we split and went our own ways. We spent the rest of the day driving around collecting the Ladders series, trads, multis, virtuals and basically anything that came in our path. It was an enjoyable day caching around Rutherglen. This afternoons caches were all signed as AB+G/AB&G (Adventure Boys and Girls) representing myself, FurfacesLL, DSD and Sui_001.

It all started with the computer. Had he known what was to follow, he would have never logged on that day. But the truth was there was no way to know what was about to happen. So Dave pressed the start button, the computer booted up, the screen came alive, and everything Dave knew to be true no longer was.
The day had begun on a bright note. The sun finally peeked through the rain for the first time in a week, and the birds were singing in its warmth. There was no way to anticipate what was about to happen. It was a worst-case scenario and there was no way out of it.
The amber droplet hung from the branch, reaching fullness and ready to drop. It waited. While many of the other droplets were satisfied to form as big as they could and release, this droplet had other plans. It wanted to be part of history. It wanted to be remembered long after all the other droplets had dissolved into history. So it waited for the perfect specimen to fly by to trap and capture that it hoped would eventually be discovered hundreds of years in the future.

Found by Rebel Acts, in the Company of my good friends Roostaman, Mrs Roosta and Ski Pair, we were all able to find a free week to get away and do some caching around the Rutherglen area, we had a great time despite some very frustrating hides.

Day 4 in Rutherglen. Plenty of rain overnight, which continued on and off throughout the day.
We weren't to be thwarted however and headed out anyway dodging the heavier showers and getting wet in between anyway.
We looked for a range of caches in the immediate Rutherglen area and headed back out to complete some in the north and north-west we had run out of time on yesterday.
Puzzles, multis and trads were the main fare with good-sized hides in most caches. Congratulations to the local cachers.
With good company and a lot of fun it was still another good day.
