Looked everywhere for the cache.
I found a dead possum near the tree.
RIP little possum.
Thanks for the hunt

I've given up on this cache. I've looked for it multiple times & live around the corner. I'm almost certain that it is not there, especially after reading everyone's DNF's.
Looks like an awesome place for a cache hide and we extended our search to be on the safe side but sadly, I do believe that this cache has been muggled. If this is the case, I'm glad to have been brought to this spot as it was a great location and normally it has some koalas resting nearby.
Looks like a couple of rainbow lorikeets are using this tree as a nesting box? Not sure where exactly the cache is, but I didn't get too close. Chirping heard from inside the tree, and an angry lorikeet poked its head out when I came too close. Cache might be off limits for now?
If you find the possum you are VERY warm. Possum was sleeping (or playing dead). First time I've found a sleeping possum. TFTC
Geowife and I are having a wander around the lovely Cleveland. No possum and avoided the dead bird.

After eliminating a few spots we soon had this in hand. Out for lunch in the area and taking my mum on a stroll to find a few caches. Tftc. Recovered and returned.
Out with Bill and Di of DiMorgan collecting some caches on a nice afternoons walk. Rick was with us for this run.
This was the cuttest cache ever as we met with this little guy who is living like 15cm from the cache in the same tree. Don't try to catch him thinking it is a strange geocaching box! TFTC!
Nice hide in the nice breeze in the shade interesting cache also forgot pen for log tftc
Out with Mischievous Maverick on the pushbikes today. Beautiful day out in the Bay! Great bikeways in this part of the darkside with some caches to match. Thank you theuknurse for placing this cache
29 of 50 in today's cache run.
Out with MrsGreenGeckos in my quest to leave Australia (for the US) on 999 caches found. This find makes 931

We found it on the ground. As I was looking in the trees I was shocked to find a possum right in front of me ! It was so cute!!! Best cache ever
Yay found with the Geo Ranger Guides on a programmed night out. Who knew 14 year old girls would dig Geocaching as much as me? Joined by my partner in Guiding Crime bancroft5
A bit of hunting as phone gps was wobbling. Found with LJcleavage and georangers. #2 for the evening
cache find # 1658. I was on a kindy excursion with grandson and and were off to a nature walk to the nearby mangroves. We actually came within about 2 metres of the cache location but had to leave finding the cache till after the excursion and home time.
When Mr GT54 had arrived to pick up Mrs GT54 we made our way over to the easy to find cache. TFTC.

That was a good one, it was to me a little tricky but the comments certainly helped!!
Easy find, but watch your footing. I'm not sure if the possum is... In the land of the living anymore.
Sadly this little possum is no more, we saw his little desiccated body on the ground perhaps another will move in. So good to see nesting boxes, Koalas, birds and lizards in this park. Gps was a little off and had to watch out for muggles but found after little while. Thanks for the GC theuknurse
I grabbed a park pretty close and wandered over. Straight away noticing the area look like it had been thoroughly scratched and searched, great a DNF I thought. Not to be discouraged, especially when no one is around I kept looking. Nothing at GZ so I spread out but eventually came back. While I was standing next to the tree and looking at my phone a moving object caught my eye from within the tree. My first thought was a rat but on closer inspection with my phones light I'm pretty sure it's a ringtail possum. While I was taking a photo I spotted the cache. Have a look inside the fork of the tree and you just might see the little guy.
Thanks again, cool spot.

A great day out on the push bikes with Couchmen in the Cleveland area. About 20 finds for the day, and a few kms rode, getting some good exercise and some finds for the day. We decided to do the local geocaching community a favor, replacing 3 missing caches for the day. Met up with another cacher on the day as well, great to meet you Mr Manly.

After only a small search around the area Outback Di and myself finally spotted the cache. We signed the log and replaced the cache as we had found it.
Thanks for the cache theuknurse

Can't really claim to have found it. GPS under the tree cover was way out. Searching, searching when echo882000 and her friends spotted me and asked if I was Geocaching?
They quickly located the cache which we signed.
Am grateful for their assistance with a nearby cache that I had given up on...

Second DNF in a row. Difficult to do a thorough search with so many passers by and one having the cheek to sit on the seat and watch me! Time to move on...
Out today with Angela & Dave on a pre-arranged visit to the dark side of the river
The possum was a welcome addition to the experience

When Lozbucket says we snuck out... What she really means is we spoke very loudly and trampled around in the mulch...
Hanging around here could definitely be considered suspicious, but Meldob and I snuck in and out without issue, and continued our trek.
Few muggles going past but didn't seem to notice us. Tree cover was throwing the GPS in our Smartphones off a little. After looking in a few places saw it, reached in, got it and signed the log.
Last time we visited this area we were walking - this time on the mountain bikes, our caching find rate was pleasantly much higher
Cache number sixteen for the day. An easy find. All Ok with cache and log.

Decided that today I would take my bike out to Cleaveland and have a cycle around and try out a few of "The Path" series and with a few others along the way.
It was a fantastic day, even though it started out quite cold at home, and i nearly decided not to go. But as I drove towards Cleaveland, the temp got to 23 degrees and was nice and warm in the sun.
I parked up at the cricket grounds (Henry Ziegenfusz Park) where i was surprised to see people setting put to fly model planes. Unfortunately they were not flying yet, and by the time I got back they were gone.
Anyways on to the cache. This was the 5th find for the day. Short and quick from the previous cache... had a little bit of a choice which way I was going.
I had the cache in hand quickly and signed the log book, even with the slow muggles walking loops around the park
Cache in good order and dry

Not knowing about the Redland holiday for the Ekka I was in Cleveland to go for an Xray but since that didn't happen thought I would get the one that was difficult to get when kids are in school for one man to be sneaking around. Found the cache right where I thought it would be but there was nothing inside, so I went back to car to grab a new log sheet and baggy so all signed, sealed and placed back in hiding spot.

It has seemed like forever since Geo Wife and I went out for some serious caching together and after a recent stay in hospital which prolonged the situation this just had to be the day when we grabbed as many as we could, within reason, with me still in recovery mode.
This area has been virtually untouched by us and there are so many so close together that it just had to be our choice even though we had to travel to get here.
I had picked out some caches (Probably a lot more than we would ever get to but I can dream) and an order to do them in so off we headed.
We were having such a great day all we had looked for we now had smilies for.
We parked as close as we could and headed the short distance to GZ.
As I approached I commented to Geo Wife "I wonder what that rock is doing there" and a slightly closer look it seemed to be growing moss.
Well imagine our surprise when we found a little possum curled up sound asleep, I recon he was there guarding the cache.
After patting its very soft fur we grabbed the cache, luckily not from under it, and headed off for it to enjoy the rest of its slumber.
Thanks UKNurse TFTC SL

School was about to finished, so had to be fast, before an army of moggles were released.
Out and about on the southside again, with svn07 and Brother Colin for another Binge Friday
One just for me, as the others had already got it. A quick find on our tour of the area. TFTC, theuknurse.

An easy find where I thought it would be. There were a couple if walkers I had to wait for and the GPS jumping all over but log signed. TFTC
Final find in a 4 hour georun/walk around Cleveland as rogaining / adventure racing training. My muggle sister joined me for the final hour of the session. Unfortunately, we were going to continue the adventure but it started to bucket down after finding this cache. The rain was so heavy that we were soaked to the bone within seconds. And the water was cold and set in. We still had a half hour walk back to her car and my motorbike.
