I feel that this cache should be brought to the local reviewer's attention.
The wildlife park is no longer operating as such and the entrance to the car park has a sign "Private Property - Keep Out". According to my GPS GZ is about 5m on the private side of temporary fencing.
At the very least, the cache needs to be disabled until the CO decides what should be done with it. There are possible hides outside the private area, if the CO still wishes to bring people here.

Tftc the guy from the sanctuary came to us so we explained what we are doing. Some big works are going to be done i i think the spot is going to be demolished.
Not many muggles here. Some building works r about to happen. Found cache though. Not sure how much longer it will be there.
Heading out of Albury and having just picked up a coffee at a nearby service station, we pulled in here for a quick park and grab. Well that was not the usual way a cache is hidden haha. Nice hide and a quick find. Thanks a lot
Second deserted and abandoned tourist attraction in the last hour, on the radar only because of a cache. Such a shame a bypass kills off tourism but guess it also keeps muggles at bay and it’s up to cachers to keep the memory alive or what once was whether that be ruins, history or theme parks.
Great place for a cache good hide. A quick find.

Out with nacspaceman to find some local caches. Had this one on our list for some time so nice to cross it off. TFTC The3Rs
Out with Geopop to do some cacheing. This was a nice stop on our way to the big X. TFTC The3Rs
Hope the animals were looked after when this place closed. Dropped 2 tb. Tftc
Quick find, no-one around today and the old sanctuary looks very bedraggled - just another one of Albury's so-called tourist 'attractions' to have fallen on hard times (Ettamogah Pub, Cumberoona, Uiver.....) TFTC
#369. 47 days in a row.
Heading down to Melbourne and grabbed a few caches on the way down.
This one was a reasonably quick find, although I searched the wrong part of the location first.

Found! Took about 10 - 15mins...
Just didn't know how dirty I had to get my hands...

Had to wait for a couple of muggles walking their puggle to move on before I could conduct my search, quickly found it as was off on my next find. TFTC The3Rs
After a DNFS at X marks the spot I was feeling a it more optimistic. It is so sad this placebos closed.as a child I came here many times, I wore a blue dress when I was about 8 and the emus went nuts. Thanks Mr Roo, I hope you also got to visit here as a child.
This cache was sitting out in the open so I have hidden it in the same area but with more coverage. Also there is no travel bug here.
Shame its not open anymore, was a nice place to visit back when it was open

Shame this wildlife centre is closed. Have been here years ago when it was open and quite popular.

Quick look and found it. Couldn't see any animals anymore. Shame the Oze Wildlife centre is closed
Up this way today to catch up with some family business, naturally any excuse to find as many caches also. What a whirl wind tour of the area it was. Many thanks to The3Rs for the effort and placement of the cache SL.
Slink1 had some business in the country so it was an extended run of caches picking them up where we

Headed down the really long thin black line this time to Victoria to try to finish off the HCRT Series. And attempt another couple of series in Northern Victoria. Day four of the adventure left Myrtleford early morning and headed back to the Hoopshot series, To pick up a few more before wending my way home. Hoping to find a few more on the way. What a spectacular place here in what I suppose you call the High Country of Victoria, No matter where I go in Australia I find a place that’s got the Wow factor. Great cache. TFTC
[:(!] Heading to Albury after spending a few days in Wagga, picked up a couple of caches and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

How sad that the park closed....another huge loss to the Albury community. I remember visiting/liking it about 15 years ago. SL TFTC
Stayed overnight in Albury and we decided to collect a few smileys before we headed back to Canberra. Pity the park was closed, quick grab. TFTC
A bonus cache on the way home from doing the GeoTriad series! #97 for the day!

We are having a day of caching in the Albury area, this is one we had on our list to find.
Its a shame that a couple of places we visited today had been closed down.

First stop was way too far from the cache. Once at GZ my first search proved unsuccessful. I took a few steps back and Ahhh thats looks like a possibility and it was
Thanks The3Rs for the hunt. Very sad to see yet another local attraction closed.

Quick & easy find with no muggles. Shame oz.e.wildlife closed down as the kids loved visiting & feeding the animals. Geokids spotted some camels on the drive from bowna reserve to here - quite exciting! TFTC
On our day searching we had a terrible start with 2 dnf but glad to get our first for the day. Tftc
Found with muzzy and poppy. So sad oze wildlife is closed. Good cache for the kids. Thanks.
There was only a matter of one place it could be hidden. But where on that place? That seemed to be the problem.

Does this place still operate? It looked deserted when we were there. still, that meant we could search in peace, and climb over things that maybe you wouldn't climb over if there were a lot of people around.
Took some searching, but we got there. Thanks

We were on our way home to Sydney from Melbourne, picking up what caches we could along the way. We almost drove past this because we missed the first turnoff, but we saw the second further down the highway, so we doubled back. The park looks a bit rundown and was closed when we pulled in to search for the cache. It took a few minutes of searching to spot, but we got it just when I began to wonder if it was still there. Thanks
Back in town for a visit with my parents after having last been here a year ago, and today is caching day. [^] Out and about early and next up was this one. Arrived at GZ and commenced the search being conscious of the nearby shop entry. After a few sneaky attempts it dawned on us that this place was deserted. OK, slightly less sneakiness employed and soon it was noticed in a rather odd positions (according to us), may not have been always exactly there we think, but there is where we returned it. Cheers.
Greetings from Brisbane. Thanks for placing this cache, The3Rs. Found in good condition.

(Found with ywurry and gonefishen07)
What a shame! I guess given it's location it was difficult to get people to come and visit this facility when it was fully operational. I'm glad we made the effort though, albeit a little too late! We had just as much fun looking around this place as we did looking for the cache.
TFTC!
P.S. Sorry for the late log.

As others have said - an essential part of our aussie values - caring for sicka nd injured wildlife, yet sad it's not commercially viable. The place seems to be maintained privately as a few species still evident and well cared for.

Found with Anderka Ywurry and geochild after attending event we headed off to do some more caching.
Very sad that a place that had been running for 42 years had to close. Maybe the local council could have done more to save this educational place for young and old. Geo child was very sad at what had happened here. TFTC TNL1

Took a few minutes the search this one out, a shame about the park being closed due to the freeway bypass.... TFTC
Kids love scrambling dont they?
found with no hassles.
I have posted an old picture of us at the park a few summers ago.
Its a shame it couldn't stay open
