Tx for the heads-up Norfolkbirder. Yes I'm afraid I have to confirm that the cache is gone, almost certainly because of and during the flash flooding experienced last week. Many houses in Cairns were inundated that had never had problems before, it rained so heavily those couple of days. I regret the loss of some really nice TB's and I apologise to their owners for my incorrect judgement of the security of the cache. I will not replace it at the current site (of course). A great shame as it was otherwise a very good TB Hotel site.

Visiting from the UK with my brother, on the final day of our holiday dropped by to see if any of the trackables needing moving on. Alas, no sign of the cache on either the T Section or the I Girder, and am wondering if it has been washed away in the recent floods...there was evidence of mud on the outside of the girders further away from the road.

Oh dear, my conscience has been bothering me so much I just have to come clean. Yes, I too held an unlicensed teddy bears picnic once - when I was about five, I think it was. Honestly, I had no idea that a license was needed. I hope searchwise will not come around and arrest me. What's the statute of limitations on this?

passed by with a view to dropping off a trackable but noticed that someone has taken up residence very near to GZ. Perhaps our friend and his teddy bears like the park so much that he has decided to camp permanently in the area.

09-Dec-11
Before I left Cairns heading south, I visited this place (closer to my accomodation than expected) and grabbed the stagate coin to share my journey with him. Smile TFTC

I arrived at the park co-ords for the cache to final some hobo having a teddy bears picnic. He had his bike, his chair, his gas camp fire and tea set up. Did I mention the teddy bears, yeah they were their too, all three of them. A little rattled I headed off towards the GZ. The hobo must have decided I was of more interest than his tea dates because he decided to keep an eye on me. Slipping out of site I logged the cache and replaced it. As I proceeded back to the Geo-Landy. The hobo headed in my direction and wanted to know what I was doing in the park. As I was still in my Hi-Vis work gear, I explained that I worked for the government and was checking out complaints that someone was conducting an unlicensed "Teddy Bears" picnic in the park. I summoned all my might trying not to laugh. I then asked him if he had seen anyone conducting a "Teddy Bears" picnics in the park. With a strange look in his eye he said "NO" and walked away. Stayed in the hotel across the road, so this morning after heading back to TSV I came over to find this one and drop off the last traveller I had brought up to Cairns.
Why did the owners of some of those storage units decide that this morning was THE time to turn up there? Wandered around the park a bit playing with my phone, until they finally drove off.
Left "Stargate Geocoin"

Found it before the rain got too bad this morning. TFTC the perfect spot to drop off 'big wheels keep on turning' to continue it on its journey

Nice. Have a trip to Sydney coming up so I swooped by the see if any travellers need a hand to move on. If any travellers cannot be helped on their mission in my trip I will place them back in circulation locally.

23-Nov-11
Quick visit to drop off a couple of trackables. The cache is pretty full now.

Found this one without the use of the gps.
Unfortunately we found 2x syringes and some form of measuring cup with a white substance right at Gz.[:(!] We removed these items from the area, but be very careful when looking for this cache.
Dropped off Taipans TB.
TFTC.

15-Sep-11
Dropping off a few trackables that have been hibernating with me

15-Sep-11
Found the hide amongst some new syringes scattered ready for use, and another item used for preparing drugs - please be careful around here, as this is obviously used by more than cachers. Dropped a TB, picked up a TB. TFTC.

14-Sep-11
A nice easy one as described. Once again we made things harder than they really needed to be.
A couple of unsuspecting muggles about (playing in the nearby creek =@.

Took the pirating GC, left a Ferrari by hotwheels.

OK - took longer than it should have. The offending car-yard vehicles have been gone a few weeks now and I should have re-positioned and re-activated the cache sooner. Happy cacheing all.

20-Jul-11
Park is no longer being used to store vehicles and appears to be back to normal.
Is the cache still in place, as I have a TB that needs to be off loaded?

29-May-11
Listing disabled due to GZ now being not readily accessible (now a carpark for motor dealer). May only be temporary so I will not yet archive the site. Will review in a couple of weeks.

28-May-11

25-May-11
Tftc, finally found one that actually has the trackBles still in it. Dropped two and some carribeeners.

11-May-11
Great idea, well done. I almost went down the wrong side of the storage place via the timber yard but I didn't think that would be too kosher. Checked the description and parked back a bit. Kept well away from the fence on the walk down and a good thing too as some dude was pushing a trolley along there. Found it nice and quickly as it should be and grabbed two TBs, swapping for a GC and a TB. There's a loose TB tag in there too which I left, not sure what it's supposed to go with, didn't record the number to check it though...
By the way the magnets like each other way more than they like the container so they are sticking together now. The cache sits there fine but you may want to stick the magnets inside the cache and let magnetism take over.
Thanks!

Just dropped in to pick up some geocoins. Thanks, Banjo, for letting me know you added them. They'll enjoy the cooler (freezing?) weather in New Zealand next week.
Took: Somerset gc, EMT gc, Sun Compass gc and Cent 5's European Union gc

28-Apr-11
Dropped off 4 x GeoCoins and 1 x TravelBug after they all visited Charters Towers last weekend.
I see the magnets have come adrift. Not really needed anyway fortunately. All OK. Cache is secure without them.

27-Apr-11
Dead fruitbat in drain did not help find. Left compass geocoin. Thanks for the cache

As we are heading to New Zealand next week we took the two TBs that said they wanted to travel the world: Pt Clare Pirate and The Road not Taken. Easy find - didn't bother getting GPS out. TFTC

Changed name from Track-A-Bull Junction to Track-A-Bull Motel [^]. Tx to Spinmeout for the "suggestion". Much better I think. Was stunned how quickly this came on line after I submitted it. My previous two caches have taken several days. This one took about an hour.

08-Apr-11
Oh Gee, You didn't have to change the name just for me. I sort of like the name how it was, as you had to think about the Bull part.
A good name all the same.
Thanks for the cache. I will add my personal GC for a visit.
Cheers.

Found at 5:30pm on my way home from work. Parked next to a familiar Toyota and wandered down to the GZ. Second to find as Team Terrortorian was already at the cache and had found it First.
Oh well, thats what you get for working back late. A nice spot for a TB Motel.

Thanks thebango for this cache. It was a real social spot this afternoon, allowing me to meet the Terrortorian and just miss putting a name and a face to Spinmeout. The cache was an easy find and while nothing was taken, we left an EMT Geocoin and a Somerset Geocoin to assist in filling up the 2 litre container.
