Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).
If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

After a failed mission to come to Walla Walla last week, I found myself with a full day off today to come today. I have been planning to do the ‘4.5 Tree Climb Trail’ for quite some time and collect the pre-solved puzzles located within the town limits. It was full of finds, DNF’s, lunch and conversations with the people I met along the way. I also loved the great locations I visited today. After finishing caching in Walla, I headed north to collect the lone caches around the back roads which lead to lots of backtrack driving. With all this driving I found myself with almost 600kms making it my biggest distant caching day I have ever yet. TB visit on all found caches. On some of the smaller log sheets/books I signed as 5/9 JM. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found, the locations I visited and for the fun I had today.
Today’s totals:
24 Finds (20 Groundspeak and 3 GCA)
3 DNF’s
My third and last DNF for today. I spent about 10minutes looking for this one but it was a no go for me this time but seeing how it is disabled and with quite a few DNF's I highly doubt I will ever find it.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I notice from one or more log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of some help - **there appears to be a need for owner intervention.**
Therefore, the cache is being temporarily disabling so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) I cannot see any log that indicates a recent visit by the CO to this cache.
If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by **15th September,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 9th September). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) the cache on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Called past and had a good look in the places it could be including where I found it years ago. No luck, contacting CO with photos....
Have to log a DNF for this one which is a shame as we travelled here just ifor the cache
Really needs maintenance
Really needs maintenance
Man I really should get out this way and check if this sneaky one is still there. Maybe Rand deserves a second cache?
Another DNF for us today! It's a beautiful day though. We will be back!!
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
As our log was deleted we finally made the effort to get to this cache and resign the log.
We did not take our GPS with us this time as we knew exactly where the cache was located.

Ooooooooh, so sneaky and clever too. Like others before us a looooooooonnnnnnngggg search and a PAF before the little green box turned into a smiley face on our caching map. Yay! We paused in our searching to partake of our picnic lunch in this pleasant shady place. We took in the sights and sounds and passing traffic on this warm Saturday. SL at 1.30pm and carefully replaced the container. #2576 Did a lap of the streets of Rand before heading for the site of Fernthorpe School. TFTC and the fun of the find Lostmonster & Co.
I called in here on the way home from Henty field days today for a look with a mate.
It should be right here somewhere I told him as I sat down to check my phone to which he says "here it is".
You tinny mongrel I tell him, I had looked at that a couple of times and dismissed it as something else.
At least I can mark it off as a smiley.
Thank you Lostmonster & Co

Arrived in Rand with baby&Mrs gopher. Pulled up in the picnic area and greeted almost immediately by the caretaker muggle who was about to clean the toilets and thought we pulled up to use them. Baby quickly engaged her in conversation and was last seen walking her across the street to distract her.

This one was an impromptu find as the chief reason for being out at Rand was for the junior football carnival my son was playing in. In a break between matches my youngest and I thought we'd attempt "Micro", not really expecting to have too much luck.
The Rand footy ground was only 500-odd metres from GZ, so we jumped in Bertha and headed towards the town centre. It was very quiet down the main street, which gave us a good chance of having a search without looking too odd. The co-ords were suggesting a particular spot to look, but there was nothing really standing out to me. Time and time again I walked away then back to regather my thoughts, in the chance that that "aha!" moment would arrive. I looked to all the plaques and info boards without luck, but I discoved much about the history of Rand.
Twenty minutes of furtive searching turned up zip, and then out-of-the-blue I spotted the crafty hide. Clever, clever!
SL at 10.30am. All good with the hide and replaced as found.
Glad of the small diversion to find this one today. Enjoyed the display at GZ and the hide. TFTC Lostmonster & Co.

Great day to be out and about and always enjoy this rest stop area and info board.
The sneaky hide revealed itself but not until a good ten minute search at the wrong area made it harder.
The historical caches are always enjoyable as was this one.
Many thanks to Lostmonster & Co.

Murray July 2014. A long weekend trip down to the Murray to explore and get some great caching dome. I was able to visit some great spots and get some very interesting caches on this trip. I think this was my third visit here, and once again things were looking down, but then I saw it. Out of the way at last. Thanks.

After a micro-search we were ready to give up. Then a recent tooth extraction came to mind..... A very clever cache. TFTC. SuziQ1.
On my RANDom wanderings, I found meself in the gRAND surroundings of RAND today
At GZ I found what must be one of the smallest parks anywhere !!
That's good !!
Less places to search
So I wandered in for a butcher's hook ..... and found one !! [:o]
Turns out this whole little picinic shelter is a shrine to butchery
Now would I butcher this cache find ?
For half an hour I did
There is NO cache hidden here, I finally declared
I sulked off back to the geomobile and read the cache notes again.
Previous finders said that this was a 'tricky little blighter', or words to that effect.
OK !!
So I just was not seeing it then ?
And within seconds of returning to GZ I looked at something from several feet away and knew that it was the cache [^]
A clever little hide isn't it ?
Oh the cache owner must feel so smug everytime he reads another DNF log !!
I know I do, when it is on one of my caches
So TFTC and reason to stop in Rand today.
I appreciated the quirkiness of GZ and the damn simple, but effective cache hide [^]
Fave time !
And anagram time .....
A Mirco in Rand,
A Carrion Mind !!

We were a little nervous as we drove to this one having read the logs. We spent some extra time scoping out G.Z. and coming up with a few ideas were a micro could be hidden in this spot. One of those ideas, one we had seen before, turned out to be correct. Surprisingly we managed to make quick work of the find.

Could NOT find it.
It's a shame there is no hint for this one when it's so far from anywhere and 6 finders (all better than me) have addmitted to having to "PAF".

2392. Definitely a sneaky little critter. I too thought about the paf option, but the phone coverage out here didnt allow so. So I kept looking and BINGO. TFTC.
This was our second attempt today, as we came up empty handed again we decided to PAF who pointed us in the right direction. Very well camouflaged. TFTC
This one is so clever and I'm giving it a favourite. Found on a micro road trip from Chiltern to Wagga.
When we first re the logs about this I thought we'd be here for hours. We searched adn searched and were about to call it a no find but as luck would have it I had a closer look after thinking of a cache in Wagga and yippie it was found.
Yessssss! Finally, and only after a hint from the CO. Very good little one! Tftc And a fave point...
This took age's to find, we were in no rush so time did'nt matter.
A great hide, simple but very very clever, has got a point from us.

Thought I'd get this one on the phone - parked near where I remembered it was, then had no phone reception (Telstra). Maybe a problem round here? Will come back on my way to Wagga sometime..
Looked for a while then decided to give up and move on.
We will be back to find another day and will put it on our watch list.

1988.Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 0810.An early start and this was the first for today. After logging a DNF the first time and having the info on the GPS'r we had to do something about it.Searched again for some time before phoning a friend. The hint given was look harder. Then the penny dropped. That is a little different.SL Tnx Lostmonster & Co.
No luck even with two friends who were helping...spent considerable time looking.
Well after an extensive search lasting almost 1 hour still did not find it so maybe a small hint from the co would help however looked over every human structure and could not find it.
CO please with sugar on top give me a little hint if of course you can see you way to my weakness. It was however an interesting stop and I wanted to get to a location before it shut so off I went to try my luck at another multi.

#2198 Continued our trip around the region and that thunderstorm caught up with us just as we arrived at GZ - and it PELTED down. To keep dry (we could've stayed in the NinjaGolf....but no....) we had to stand at the edge of the shelter on the main drag side, the rain was near on horizontal. Once it settled we got to looking & looking & looking.......& looking & looking & looking. After longer than we anticipated, Dad spotted the nifty container. Nice hide Lostmonster & Co, this kept us on our toes!
PS - I bet the guy from Hehir Transport wondered why we were "stretching our legs" for so long - he drove past about 4 times.

I had a good look round, and I am sure there are as many places I did not see that I did, so I hope it is still there. Albida
A quick stop off in Rand on our way home to tick off this "close to home" cache. Looked here and there for a couple of minutes before making the find.
Interesting feature at the shelter, and not really sure of what its purpose was other than it was in a shop for a long time before being put on display, would make really good firewood
Cheers.

Spending the day with DJ Rascal, and thought we would come the "back" way home to clean up a few of the close to home caches.
Not too many about in Rand today, which made it a bit easier to search. Had a poke here and there before coming up with the little critter! Nicely tucked away.
That piece...chunk....slab of wood would be good for firewood!
Thanks for the hunt Lostmonster & Co. Cheers!

Was headed south to Melbourne, and decided to stop for a leg stretch in Rand. After checking out the history, I started looking in more detail... Then looked some more. I was nearly ready to hit the road again, before I spotted something that gave me an idea... After another look... you little bugger!
Thanks for breaking the trip,
Cheers,

Found in the company of Roostaman while returning home the long way from Blacklegend's Birthday bash. This one really had us scratching our heads and looking everywhere except the right spot. After a lengthy search the evil micro was finally located. A fantastic hide and accurate coordinates.
Thanks Lostmonster & Co.
Thanks Lostmonster & Co.
Found with Fred6603 on the long way home after the Bush Bash event. After being at Howlong recently I was expecting a tricky micro and it sure was. We had a real long look around & then finally spotted the excellent hide. Fred's eyes were very valuable to have with us today, as it's something devious enough like he would do. Very sneaky hide lucky to be able to phone the owner after spending some time looking in the dark! Didnt get to see much of Rand as it was dark.A bit spooky with all those hooks and things hanging about.

*FTF* Found while in the area attending the Pre-Easter event near Bendigo over the weekend with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy) and team Haveanez; and during a five day caching blitz with my two boys (Tyler and Cooper) which eventually took us through the Victorian Goldfields, up to the Murray River in Tocumwal and back down through Wangaratta.
I was at Marshy's chilling with the kids outside when the alerts went off. New caches in Rand and Walbundrie. We considered for a couple of minutes whether to do them or not. Five minutes later we were flying up Woolshed Road heading for Rand, 40 minutes later we were pulling up at GZ in Rand and 40 minutes later we were still looking for the hide, scratching our heads. The kids had gone through the garden bed and we had to keep telling them to get out of it. Marshy contacted the owner for a push in the right direction and it still took a further 10 minutes to find it. A fantastic hide and a great little adventure. Thanks Lostmonster & Co.

Yay, we finally found it at 20:45. We were looking for a very long time. Another find to geodad. We kept being interrupted by muggles who had just finished a community meeting, along with other traffic. Were waiting for a long time. Sneaky hide. But was bordering on being a nano. TFTC

Joint FTF with Quasar3671. We were sitting at home at my place, Marty had decided to stay for a few nights, and we were just letting the kids have a run around, when we got the alerts for a few new caches a bit north east of us, in Rand and Walbundrie. Should we or shouldn't we. We knew it was lostmonsters so he wouldn't be in the chase, so we decided to have a crack at it.
Kids were in the car in a few mins and we were on our way. I almost ran out of fuel, but were able to get some at Berrigan, im sure the car was running on vapors.... From there, we drove not stop to GZ. After about 40 mins we were forced to text the owner for a hint, this was a tricky bugger. A short while later, we had the cache in hand.
Fantastic hide, and i believe worthy of an extra star in the difficulty rating. Thanks Lostmonster and Co for another great chase.
