Knew exactly what I was looking for at this cache, was satisfied to spot it aligning with my expectations ^_^Cache was dry enough for me to remove it without my trusty tweezers that Id managed to leave in the geomobile which I was thankful for! Signed the log and replaced as found A fantastic cache idea, TFTC!
Found this one as my first for the day. It was a great hide worthy of a FP and I must say I have thought of doing this myself but havent come across an appropriate prop. Logbook in good condition. Beautiful little track in and a quick find today TFTC
It'ssssssssssss great! Scared the life out of me, especially when geo-ing at dusk but found it nonetheless. Also found with MaxI125. Also Also for adding 10yrs to my life I'm giving you a favourite point.

A pleasant location for a cache. We could hear a number of different bird calls whilst at GZ. A very nice cache camo. Amused us youngsters, hence a FP. TFTC Sat Down
After a DNF nearby, came to find this one the GPS was jumping from 1 to 3 mtrs. Searched and searched until read it was a micro, a micro in the bush?
Saw that one of the last finder said that they poked around, when wazza9 said did you move this and there was a container, I said I am not picking that up. But if I wanted to sign the log I had too, signed and replaced. A very good hide, thanks to Sat down.

Now that Covid19 restrictions have been eased slightly, I am re enabling this cache
Due to COViD 19 and the social distancing/ stay at home laws, disabling this cache for now. Will re enable when the laws are relaxed
I was out again today to tick off some more caches in my local area around home and this was one of many on my radar for today. I parked as close as i could and made the short walk down to gz. I circled around gz without any luck but on my second pass of the area i managed to spy something cache like and the cache was in hand shortly after. Its all in the name! Thank you for the cache!
It was there somewhere and I had to prod it a couple of times with a stick to make sure it was the cache not some unsuspecting hibernating critter. Great hide and everything is in perfect condition.

With a nice, clear day forecast we decided a bush walk was in order.
After a walk on the nearby fire trails to collect the other caches we drove closer to this GZ and followed the path.
This wiggly stick was a little less wiggly than the one we saw at our first cache stop of the day

That is one way to make sure a geocache isn't stolen. Still had to double triple quadruple check though. Thanks for the adventure, didn't know this track existed. TFTC
Today I made the are north of Engadine unsafe! 8 finds!
Luckily not as scary as the one near CRONULLA, TFTC!

#3833 (3 of 3 today)
Dinner with friends in The Shire, so I headed south early for today's finds.
Was originally going for a hike a little further south, but that was canned thanks to the wet.
Found three, and picked up an unwanted hitchhiker I only found once at my destination...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Time or one more, so came here as the rain was still in abeyance.
Driving up I was unsure where the ingress to GZ would be, but quickly spotted a likely area, with a trail. OK, that'll do.
Followed the trail (very boggy in places) and made all the right choices leaving it, as well as looking in the right spot first off. Ah, yesssss!
CIH.
Completed signing duties and replaced, then headed back out.
Time for red wine and cheese!
I suspect I picked up a bloodsucking hitch hiker here, which dropped off at my friends' place after sating itself. First one I can remember picking up in The Shire. It got salted, and I'll be itchy for days.

Still awaiting the impending hazard reduction. Will place back within next month if it keeps being canceled.
Hazard reduction had been post poned twice. Keeping disabled until it has been completed
Disabling as thete is a planned hazard reduction burn scheduled for this weekend. Cache removed until burn is over.
Yesss it'sss there alright! Ssspotted sssomething sssuspicious from a ssstep or two away. But realisssed they would be sssleeping thisss time of year. Ssso it wass CIH. Brought my twezzzers to asssissst with log retrieval. And a fresssh one to boot. Not FTF but first to sssign!
Lovely quiet ssspot on thisss pleasssant winter afternoon.

There is a hazard reduction burn scheduled for this coming weekend. The cache will be replaced after that.
Log was scrunched up and packed quite tightly in container. Could not remove without damaging.
Clever little bit of camo. Fortunately the name and some logs tipped me off for what i was looking for. TFTC
Find without too much drama, the coordinates are good. Had to check the camo carefully to make sure it was actually camo...TFTC!
I took a long hike around today from North Shore II and K9 to grab this one. The find itself was easy but navigating my way out was a bit harder because I'd come from below. I'm out! Don't send the search party! TFTC!

Find #1627 - 6 for today. Found on 17/05/2015 12:53 pm
Apparently I left the track too early and after a short trek across the rocks found the ssspot. Clever idea, hope it doesn't freak out the geokiddies. Thanks. TNSLLN

Even though I knew what the hide was my body could help but instinctively jump back when I first saw it. Used my tweezers from the First Aid kit to extract and sign the log (you need to bring your own pen for this one)
After a brief sojourn along a suburban street we picked up another fire trail and thankfully left the houses and re-entered the bushland. Bit dubious about this being a "micro in the bush" but we needn't have worried. The camo took it back up to being a proper size. Nice camo too and a good location.
The track to the cache was quite lovely as it led us back down towards the creek below. Sir Altaire spied this interesting micro. This gave us a laugh. Good one.

Enjoying the long week end break and having just done a bush cache which took less time than expected and having found the large cache at the end of the road this only looked like a short detour and we thought we knew what we were looking for. We headed down the short track behind the substation and then continued on as we followed the needle. We soon got to GZ and found the hide as expected. We careful gave it a poke with the tools just to be sure and then extracted the log. We completed the signing duties and re hid, TFTC
Isss foundsss itssss. Butssss Issss tooksss the wrongsssss toolsss.
Got it out with what I had anyway.

Went looking with my offsider and he spotted it while I was a short distance away near GZ as I thought.
Surprised him a bit.
Signed the log and replaced the cache as found.

A simple walk down the track from Geelong Road to this one. I suspected what camo might be involved and was pleasantly surprised that it was much smaller than I expected- I've found a couple similar ones now that are 'normal' sized and they freak me out. TFTC!
Yes, spring is here and the wild life is starting to appear. Plenty small spiders about and even small snakes- watch where you step and sticking your hands in! Nice location! TFTC (579)

Quick find. I didn't have a pen handy so scratched my name in the log with the tweezers.

TFTC,
Visited with a group of trackables picking up some local experiences. Lucky find to keep the run of finds going for another day.

No rpoblems parking and soon found the track in. Close to GZ I had to slow down to give a muggle the opportunity to get out of there (she was going uphill very slow!). After this I made an expected find!

Over from NZ for a few weeks hunting geocaches around Sydney. Took a bit of searching to locate the good creative hide. SL TFTC
Nice easy find. I left a extraction tool on top of the camo. It's just a stick that I used. Perfect size, came out easy. TFTC
Unlike me, you could almost walk to the cache on a track. I left the track too early, and had a short bush bash to GZ. A fun find, thanks Sat down.
Found in the company of Usat31 whilst on a boys day out grabbing a few local caches. Nice camo!

A good excuse to get out for a walk with geo-dog Tally. A quick and easy find, thankful I heeded the direction regarding tweezers though!

It was a warm spring morning as we walked into the bush. I was concerned about snakes because I had the Dusty dog with me. We did spot one but it was harmless.
This was The first time that I used the Groundspeak geocaching app for Android.
So far I am not that impressed but I think it's because of the Samsung Phone GPS not the app itself. TFTC

Found FTF with muggle relatives. The location that we were going to place a super cool multi. Tested out new GPS and was spot on. TFTC
