I ran the new parkrun at Whalan Reserve and then decided to find some nearby caches to add to the experience. I parked across from GZ and headed across, but despite a reasonable search in the likely spots I couldn't spot the container; one of these spots was full of water, so perhaps gravity has taken its toll? I would recommend a CO visit, given previous finders also mentioned some issues.

Easy found took a few seconds to get out but the paper was destroyed from bad weather
Took about less than 10min, and a few minutes fish it out, It’s exactly where it’s suppose to be! Have fun!!
An early early cache for me this morning as i wont have an opportunity to grab one later after work today.
When i arrived i had to wait out a muggle who had decided to stand near the GZ for a couple of minutes before he moved on.
I made an easy find once i was able to approach the GZ and signed the new log left by Jackscruff.
Thanks.

Today I came out west for some caches and a geodog walk.
Now I've been to this Fun Park, just once, of course a long time ago. I don't remember it being so close to the station, but then maybe I drove, but I don't remember it being so far from home. Who knows!
I do remember a fun day spent here with a friend. I also remember the issue of razor blades on the slides which was not long after I'd been here.
I had a lot of trouble finding this. Went to the right spot but couldn't see anything except rubbish so I started checking other possible places nearby. With no luck I read some logs.
Don't you hate it when everyone else, including beginners say it was so easy.
Well that directed me back to where I started, and of course there it was, and very wet.
Couldn't write on the log so I took it back to the geomobile, put the container on the bonnet and fished around for some paper to replace the log. Found something, signed it and by then the container was dry so I returned it to where I'd found it.

I know the geocache is called waterworks, but I'm fairly certain it's not supposed to be waterlogged. Seems like it may have lost it's magnetism and fallen down to where there is a fair bit of water. Took me a while to fish it out. With no where else safe to hide it, I returned it to where I found it. TFTC

Had to be in Rooty Hill for a emergency meeting and left straight after work to be there very eartly. Ended up so early that some time for caching was left. Randomly picked a direction and started picking up caches. Ended up doing six which I tought was not a bad effort for an unknown area. This one was found quick and easy as well.

TFTC. Came here @ 3pm. A few curious muggles around but managed to be discreet in finding it.
Cache found, (owner) wasn't held together very well you should have look, did some quick repairs but may need to be looked at again. 29/09/19
Nice hide. Quick park and grab.
Busy road. Hard to find a time with no muggles driving past.
The log is full so writing on the back now.

Out for another epic days caching with marj01; this time around Erskine Park, Orchard Hills, Kingswood, St Marys and Ropes Creek, suburbs that I would never have visited if I wasn't for geocaching. We found lots of caches; mainly nanos, minties and a few small sistemas plus a good old ammo can.
A big thank you to all the CO's who placed and maintain these caches.

A short Sunday afternoon in the western suburbs of Sydney, with a handful of reasonably quick finds before heading home for a relaxing Sunday evening?
------
After reading previous logs where this cache is muggle central, there was not a muggle to be found while searching for this cache on a Sunday afternoon. With the cache found and signed, a muggle entered the neighbouring business, but after they disappeared, the cache was replaced as found and I was soon on my way.

Found at 14:52hrs. This is my third time back and I was determined to locate cache. Jeez, muggle heavy area! Had to keep doing a u-turn / suddenly vying off in another direction, coz of all the traffic. I was literally glaring at GZ coz I K N E W exactly where it was, frustration was making me grind my teeth.
Quick find but took a little while to retrieve with all the muggle and traffic activity around. TFTC!
#1921 came here after camera club which meets at Dharruk just up the road so here around 10pm via torchlight soon spotted the cache and retrieved from its hiding spot. Came to this park a few times when I was younger. Thanks for the memories

I found this cache on my way to the shops. Geohubby wasn’t impressed with the diversion, so I forgot to write my log at the time! Thanks for the cache The Booos
On my way home from the shops and thought I'd stop and try this one. I will admit it took me a little bit to find, but eventually located SL TFTC
Afterwork, my coworker gave me a ride and dropped me off at mount druitt Westfield. Had my filo food and brought some filo bread.. Decided to walk all the way to coords as this was near.. saw a bogan lady cursing her life away at her phone.. Then being racist to some African aussie kids as she walked all the way across the bridge.. through all the commotion, i looked and f kept in finding until the hint was all it took... Nice official box.. signed.. Cheers. Nice lil memory in Mount druitt as i walked back to the station.. towards home
Stop to grab this one while workings out this way this afternoon. Quick find. Tftc to an empty space in my find calendar.
Searching for awhile, read the hint and had it within seconds, need to time it rite traffic is quite heavy. TFTC
Sunday being quiet was a good time for me to head down to look for this. Parked across the road. No muggles around. A quick find. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Coming home from a day out with friends and stopped by to find this one. Found with Bec.
Thanks for the cache!

Found today while in the area on the start of a road trip. Geohubby grew up here and remembers the water park. TFTC
Quick find. I liked the cache being labelled "micro cache", as it would assist beginners know what really is a micro and that it's not a 'small'. TFTC The Booos.
After missing an opportunity to revisit this one a few months back I was in the area today and noticed that it had been replaced so made a quick stop and a quick find today.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Walked from Westfields should have checked the recent activity first. Oops
Had a good look around but couldn't find it.
Had a good look around but couldn't find it.
Walking past today but couldn't stop as people sitting in the nearby bus shelter and kids at play would have wondered what the strange old fella was doing! I enjoyed the memories of the location as I continued on to another one.
Now that I see all the DNF's I wonder if I would have done any better.
I might get back there before heading north at the end of the week.
Until next time!
(Yes, my phone was nearly flat again!)

Couldn't find it, was told to get away from the fence. The man said its a private fence and to leave .
28/07/15. 1:09 PM. Cache #2734. Streak day #401.
4th of 8 today.
I started the afternoon picking off a few of Blacktown City's western outliers. My last attempt was a DNF, at "Mount Druitt Aerodrome". I then drove to look for the Train Spotter on the other side of the train line, but I was muggled out by a truck full of rail workers parked near its GZ. So I parked on that side of the line and walked over the railway bridge to this one.
I checked the satellite photo and knew exactly where to head for. Thankfully, an easy find. I signed, replaced and then went back over the train line to get some lunch and recheck the Train Spotter. Nup, they were still there, so off to Water Tower #6 at Hebersham. TFTC.

This was the only find for today. I managed to park across the road from GZ but found I should have parked on the same side as it was hard to judge when to cross the road as the cars come around the corner. I looked in a couple of likely hiding spots and after coming up empty-handed took note of the hint. I saw something which matched the colour and considering a few spots, soon had CIH. SL. TFTC.
