This one took a bit of a look but we found it! The real challenge he was putting it back in place though! A good hide. TFTC 2ystassies!
Thanks for the Cache Find#237Find(GCA)#1Find (Total)#238Search/SL Time=<30S/16:12Today Found/DNF=6/2(!)Today Found/DNF (GCA)=1/0Device= S24 (Exynos)
Took a couple of attempts today. Didn't find it on the way, but got it on our way back. Nice hide.
This morning I jogged along this trail from Turners Beach and then after a big rest I headed back to Turners Beach and collected as many of the caches as i could. Sadly 2 eluded me, I think I have an inkling where both are hidden but neither were spots suitable for checking today. Really enjoyed the jog/walk I am not sure if I am getting any fitter but nevertheless feel the exercise must be doing me some good. Other than the 2 dnfs the rest of this series were found quickly with no issues. Many thanks to 2ystassies for the series . TFTC
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out doing a section of the trail today. Spotted fairly quickly, as we could have been here for a while. Thanks 2y'stassies for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
After a tasty lunch with some good company, it was time to jump on my bike and try and work some of my lunch off
A very nice track to cycle along, at a steady pace, admiring the scenery and finding some caches.

RoadieM and I are enjoying a great few days away, with geocaching on our minds. As we had a park and drive day yesterday on our way to the coast, we decided we would stretch the legs today and do the walk from Turners Beach to Ulverstone, finding caches along the way.
This one took us a while .... this path is so busy with walkers, joggers and bike riders I decided to stand on the other side of the path to give me a clear view of muggles approaching while RoadieM searched. Finally she had the cache in hand and we were on our way.

tassietan and I have planned a caching getaway together for some time. We decided to go further afield and after looking around we were drawn to the north coast and the myriad of caches in the area. Having had a long day of driving yesterday we decided to tackle some caches involving a walk and started on this series from the Turners Beach end where we are staying.
This was a tricky hide! We both searched for a while, but the muggle factor was too high, so tassietan acted as guard and muggle alarm while I looked a bit more closely. Finally got it!
Thanks 2y'stassies for the cache and the lovely walk.

A great start to international geocaching day!
Started the day with an earth cache and now finding a previous 2 time DNF!
I never got around to coming back to this DNF but today I have my whole day free for caching with the goal of beating our most finds in one day! This is our last traditional in Ulverstone! Just a few mystery’s left now.
Time to go and grab some breakfast and do some caching around Railton.
Cache is in good condition and was a much much faster find than previous attempts!

Super sneaky hide and searching without alerting all the passing muggles lol TFTC

This one sent my phone compass crazy so had to wait till it finally settled and then the cache was in hand, TFTC
Thanks for this series of caches 2y's tassies.
RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I are spending a few days in the northwest. We decided to do this track with myself walking the dogs, and RLD4963 on his e-scooter (which is easier on his knees).
Ahhh, this one took us ages. We kept seraching, and searching, and eventually it was spotted in somewhere we had already looked. Glad to add a smiley for this one.

Out and about caching with all the Rafas for our holidays TFTC TNLN log dry, a trial run with a scooter saw this an easy task to get to.
This one took forever...
After a very long search the cache was eventually found. Very sneaky hide! . Tftc

Headed out on the bike to pick up some puzzle caches I had solved around Forth. Got distracted by this series and some others along either side of the river so never made it to the puzzles - but they will be there for another day.
This one took a bit longer. I was looking in the right place, just needed to look a bit better

Tonight KjStarr and i decided to take the geodog for a walk along the Ulverstone to Turners Beach walking path, we managed to find most of them. the only ones we didn't locate was 1 & 6 because for some reason they weren't in our GPS, but that gives us an excuse to come back and walk the path again.
After a brief search the cache was quickly found and signed before some muggles passed by. TFTC

I arrived at GZ with a cold wind blowing. I found the well hidden cache without too much difficulty.
Nice warm evening to head out for a stroll with the geogirldog, while the husband headed off in the opposite direction with the geoboydog! Absolutely had a blast finding these caches. They are very fitting along this great track & took a bit of searching for.
Even though my thoughts where right as to where these should be located, it still took some searching before I had the log in my hands! Thanks

On a mini-maintenance run tonight. Sincere thanks to rhubarbroad for replacing the logbook - greatly appreciated.
A ride out this morning to clean up some missed caches along the bike path, and log the solved puzzle caches a bit futher east. Logging six for the day, and moving a trackable which has travelled nearly 32,000 miles so far. Thanks for all these caches 2y'stassies.
8 caches from this trip. 7 from the Ulverstone to Turner's beach series and a giant trackable hotel. It was a rainy day today so I had my raincoat on while riding my bike.
The final cache of the day for me. It took a while to find as I was looking at the bush and looked past it 5 times before I saw it. The cache was in a great condition but the log needs replacing now.TFTC!!

Our last day in northern Tassie we cached along the coast east from Goat Island to Don. We found a great variety of caches, learnt about the history of the area and enjoyed the brilliant coastal views while managing to dodge the showers, working out how many caches within dry riding distance from a couple of parking spots.
Thanks to '2y'stassies' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Today we were on the road and visited this beautiful series of caches. We always found interesting hiding places.
Overall, we visited many caches today, so we apologize for the unit log.
Many thanks for bringing and saying say the Moorhelmi's from Germany.

After leaving Devonport for Boxing Day shopping for the day. I decide to walk along the path to the end of Ulverstone to catch up some caches. Very warm day. Found it. Thank 2y'tassies for placing the cache
Found hanging about, past searchers led me up the wrong path but moved away and found quickly. Our own out of ink but took a photo as proof.
Tasmania Trip Day 10 - after some very good caching so far it was now time to begin to really enjoy the area so it was off with the bike and the young member of the team was on his own for a few more smilies.
This was a great way to travel on a bike along the coast and see some good hides.
Thanks 2y'stassies for placing this sereis and a great series it was to do. (sorry for cut and paste logs)

So many prickles at first look but the Geo Knowledge kicked and and soon had a quick find.
Out for a nice Autumn day walk with my niece a new geocacher and her boyfriend(Samara & Chandler) So 2 children & 3 Adults working together we thought we could grab all of these caches. We only had 1 DNF at number #8 that we will have to come back for. Thanks 2y’stassies for all the effort gone into this group so many different types of geocaches.

Thoroughly enjoyed this series of caches, lovely to see the variety of hides and containers.

Mum and I came out geocaching for the day. We bought the MTB bikes to do the trail and was a nice and easy ride and enjoyed all the finds along with way! It’s a pity that not all of them are along the trail!

With our confidence somewhat dented due to the no find at number 6, we went oh no, not another one of these ( yes, we admit that we had reAd the hint), and settled in for a lengthy search, but fortunately we had a fairly quick find. TFTC
Back home after being in Tassie for a holiday, now the daunting task of logging all our finds, sorting through the scraps of paper with notes on them.
Had a few days of sunshine, a lot of days of rain, ended up with just over 105 finds all up on this trip, and visited many tourist spots in the north of Tassie.
last day in Tassie....
found this cache in good order
no muggles about. Quick find.
thanks to 2y'stassies for this cache

Tftc this was a hard find but a good one for the smaller geocache hunters...
Time for a walk along the track before flying back to Melbourne. Hardest one so far...and the bushes bit me while looking. One last attempt, thinking like a cacher and there it was. Tftc
Thank you for the cache. Maggie the great GeoWestie caching with Carer. only missed one of 10. Great walk
Lovely day for a ride to the berry patch for brekky. Nabbed this one along the way.
One of those caches where u search high and low and stand there scratching your head. Just about to give up when I reverted to the 'if I were hiding it where would I put it?'... there it be.. thanks..!!
