We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Planning to collect some of the solved GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and Wallacia, then visiting the Blue Mountains from Springwood to Wentworth Falls (over two days) for numerous Adventure Labs and other targeted caches.
Today (day 2) we collected caches and Adventure Lab stages from Linden to Wentworth Falls, then completed an Adventure Lab around various parts of Wentworth Falls, before ending the day with a walk around Wentworth Falls Lake to complete an Adventure Lab and collect some more caches that we passed along the way. This was our 11th find of the day (day 2), and 27th find of the holiday.
Parked close to the cache and then headed over to GZ for a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. We then spent a short while browsing inside the Antique shop, which was fascinating and very well stocked with old wares. TFTC apple crumble88.

Find #5296
Most embarrassing find ever. So many people around, and I’m trying to be sneaky. One of the guys working on the roof wanders over to point it out to me… I guess he just wanted me to get out of the way. TFTC
A quick U turn was made to head back to this one while the sun was setting, one of the locals with me for the hunt soon had the cache in hand after hearing the hint. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Lovely little cottage. Looked like someone was home but they did not appear. Made a quick find.

As the ladies went shopping, the boys went caching, well really trigging this morning. Five trig points out past Wentworth Falls was the drawcard, and the lack of walking kept the team enthused.
I'm glad you spelled out what to do here, I doubt we would have poked in there otherwise! TFTC!

Had a bit of help from geo son who had found this previously.
Beautiful sunny morning with brisk cold air.
Thanks for the great cache.

What a pretty town this is, especially on this western side of the railway line. I've never been on this side of the line before but came this way this morning on my way to Katoomba, for some geocaching stops.
With my first find down the road at the bridge I headed further west listening to the ABC, 702 as I drove along. They had a segment on about antiques, very appropriate for where I ended up for this cache. I didn't visit the shop today but I find these places fascinating so I will return!
Now the cache.
The GPS led me to a particular spot and with that hint I assumed I was at the right location. No one was around this morning, could have done with a helper as my arms were too short to reach the cache although I could see it. Much manoeuvring and care with the garden and I finally had CIH. SL and replaced the cache then headed on to Katoomba.
TFTC, interesting spot.

Discovered with Chippyddd on the way to the Blue Mountains NSW. Quick easy find but very sneaky. Met the CO Apple Crumble 88. Pleasure to meet you. SL TFTC TFTH Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher. Thanks and cache on.
We met the CO, instead of a TB getting dropped off, he wanted a 65" TV, maybe another day or time. Found ICW geo buddy Mystic Seer. TFTH TFTC SL.

I searched a couple times and did not find anything. I have no idea what the clue even meant
We were driving by so we stopped for this cache. Two cute and well behaved dogs came out to talk to us. Wish all dogs were like these. TFTC
A group of us carpooled and house hopped to the mountains for a day caching and bushwalking. Thanks for taking me I had a fun day. Thanks for the cache hide.
TFTH *Geomonster10* a group of us carpooled (*10011010*, *HappyUke*, *SueDan83*, *Little Kitten*) in one car for a trip up the mountains, while *DustyJasperJet* and I were in my car, all out for some fun caching.
Our trusty guide DanSue38 had been talking about two beautiful loop walks up in the Blue Mountains. The more he talked about them the more people jumped on board for the walk... he is that convincing! The date was set and the leapfrog carpooling was organised. Again we got a day with perfect weather. Luckily with the rain last week the waterfalls could show off a bit of their splendour. The GPS was a bit bouncy due to the tall rocks and canopy... with a bit of a search, all the caches were finally found. Little Kitten was in her element climbing, jumping, swinging and sliding to each cache... definitely now Little Panther! It was a great day, beautiful scenery and fantastic company... can’t wait to hear more of DanSue38’s stories. Thanks for placing this cache... it gave us a reason to come here!
Quick and easy find, felt a little awkward collecting the cache though as to where it's placed
Taking a break on the way to Ironfest with the geokiddies. This was a fun find once I realised where it had to be. Interesting-looking shop but sadly no time to stick around and explore. TFTC!
Muggles were at the place where my phone indicated so we rested on the seat nearby. Then I mailed it....er nailed it. Up visiting friends from the big smoke.

Having recently grabbed a bag of caches on the north side of the Highway at Hazelbrook with geobrother (Forereach) we decided to launch out again today but on the south side this time. Weather forecast was not promising but we spent a lovely cool morning on our mission before showers started in the early afternoon. We passed a number of walkers on the tracks including John the "Captain" of a Korean bushwalking group from Sydney who was doing a recce for future walks. This was our first cache for the day and although the cache holder has taken a bit of a hit we successfully retrieved, signed and replaced the cache.

I have two aims for today's caching trip.
First, of course, is picking a cache for my 5600 find milestone - need to find three others first, though. The second is to try to grab some caches at above 1000 metres altitude so I can qualify for a challenge cache up Windsor way.
In respect of the milestone:
for the last few I've been choosing a cache placed by great cachers from Sydney (or in this case surrounds, ie Blue Mountains) whose company I've enjoyed.
Then I continued on over the 1000 metre contour line and grabbed eight more finds in Blackheath.
And I found all the caches I went for - except for a muggling out at a bowls club.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I still need one before my milestone due to being muggled out. So decided on this cache. Yes, a nice old house.
Slightly baffled for a minute or two, until I had an evil thought. Well, I was right, but the hide was executed differently to what I expected.
Signed and replaced, and away to my milestone.

We are been looked after by our Geo Nana and poppy, we think it’s great cause we get to go caching with them. We did a swag of caches today. This was one of them. Thank you all the COs for their hides.
It was such a beautiful Sunday morning I couldn’t resist a trip to the mountains for the day. Having hiked Kedumba Valley last weekend I had noticed a nice little group of caches around Hazelbrook and made that my destination.
This was my first stop. An easy and quick find albeit a bit uncomfortable so close to homes.

Easy find wasnt to sure if it was appropriate to look here until owner came out
Found by Mary & David at 1140. Would have loved 5 minutes inside, but more caches are calling. Certainly some distressed wares crying out for a home. Our thanks to apple crumble88.
Tftc - followed the lettres and found GZ. Met the lovely owners and had a chat, unfortunately the shop was closed
