No Bandicoots but certainly and inquisitive Wallaby at GZ. This is a case of trusting your GPS as you can easily miss it. TNLN. Cheers.

A day as nice as this ment that getting out and caching ws definetly on the cards. For ages I have looked at this area and decied that it was finally time to give it a crack. The sunshine made for a peasent walk through the area, however the recent storms that came through the sate ment that there was water a plenty. Even to the extent that i had to perform acouple of "Creek" crossings just to keep following the path. Even though it wasn't a huge hall today, it was more of a case of quality over quantity, and there definetly was some quality. A enjoyable day was had.

Last find for the day! Miserable day but a great day at the same time.

Passed through a big bunch of kangaroos here but thankfully didn't frighten them off too far when passing by. Walking around GZ it was strange to see so many black trees and logs surrounded by so much green.

Thanks for the great day out!

29-Jun-15
Lovely walk , never been here before

28-Jun-15
Found it

07-Jun-15
The last time I was here about a year ago, there had been a recent fire and the cache was MIA.

Better luck this time around and I found it no probs.

Mission accomplished. Thanks, bregor

16-May-15
Another great walking area not too far from home that we didnt know about.
Found the cache in good condition, we were worried it may have melted as some of the nearby trees looked burnt, but all good.
Thanks bregor for the cache and a lovely Saturday arvo walk to clear the head.
Took TB to move along.
Signed log and replaced cache safe and sound.

30-Apr-15
I think I almost stepped on it before realising there was a cache there! TFTC

20-Sep-14
Found on a sunny Saturday with The Supermonkeys and geoDad on 20-Sep-2014. Lots of wildflowers, butterflies, and some kangaroos spotted along the way. Got a bit of charcoal on ourselves traipsing through the regenerating burnt bushland.

20-Sep-14
A lovely walk. We saw lots of flowers and some kangaroos. Found on a sunny Saturday morning, 20-Sept-2014.

24-May-14
Enjoying the day caching around Mark Oliphant and Scott Creek CP.
Realised that I had driven past the car park when driving to nearby Mackereth Cottage.
A car load of teenager with P plates were parked in the car park,
but at least they gave me enough room to park the wagon.
Quick find with the cache, the bush is still very black but the signs of green are there.
Car still there, on to the next destination.
Thanks for the cache bregor Cool

21-May-14
New location of cache should be safe in a fire but hopefully there will be no such future risk.

26-Apr-14
Cache replaced today. It appears the original did not survive the fire.

24-Apr-14
I don't like to start the day with a DNF but that's the way it goes.

Unless this cache was made from asbestos, I don't think it would have survived the recent fires. Had a good look at the tree at GZ - burnt. Then checked the trees around it - also burnt. Didn't see any ashes or rements of a cache. Will keep a watch and return when there's evidence of its existance.

Cheers Bregor - IBB

15-Apr-14
Didn't think we would find this one when we saw the fire damage. Not sure but think this one would be burnt to a cinder. Might need a new cache at this site.

Part of the excursion through Scotts Creek Conservation Park with Mrs Aussie M&M, CP Wanderer, Locuscache and Dennis52. With the previous finder in the car, this was going to be an interesting one. Fortunately Dennis52 again came to the rescue and found it while the women were still milling around the wrong place.

22-Mar-14
Found while caching with Locus_cache in "Harry", AussieM&M, Doctor Owl, and CPwanderer. One of 29 for the day. Took nothing, but left a Path Tag. TFTC.

20-Feb-14
Wow - a cache with a difference! Oops, just surprised a massive roo while writing this on way back to the road! Found an amazing ball shaped and spiny spider on huge web by cache...wonder what kind it was? Had to wait for a well kitted out muggle to pass me before heading off the path. TNLNSL - thanks!

26-Aug-13
An easy find on a lovely Sunday walk. TFTC

This was to be our last cache after our afternoon around Scott Creek, and after a series of easy finds, this one has us a little stumped.
After a bit of walking around in circles, we spotted something a bit out of the ordinary, and the cache was finally in hand! TFTC.

25-Nov-12
Out early with Mogni and CpWanderer to get some nearby puzzles and anything close, ahead of the warm weather and snakes! Wink. My GPS had me walking in circles until somebody tripped over a clue to this clever hide. Thanks bregor. Big Grin

25-Nov-12
Out with brisal5 and CP on an early morning caching adventure. One day I am going to work out how to get CP not to tell us.... good hide.

24-Nov-12
Out very early this morning before it gets too hot.

I cleaned out the Scott CreekConservation Park and then a few Beagle caches and then a few on the way home.

A surprisingly easy find for a Bregor cache in the bush. My heart was lifted when I saw it was a small.

Perhaps some pain lays ahead?

TFTC

28-Oct-12
No Peramelemorphia were spotted in the finding of this cache. The last bandicoot I saw was bouncing around on a TV screen, first name Crash. An interesting bush hide, I found myself standing at GZ not realising I was standing on the cache. TFTC bregor.

14-Jul-12
After doing the Netball run to Mylor, I spent the afternoon caching the way home through Scott Creek Conservation Park.

I found a track that could have been made by a bandicoot to get to GZ but found the easy way back. TFTC. Big Grin

01-Jul-12
Stayed nearby overnight with friends, walked to GZ in the morning. Seven pairs of kids eyes and six adults nearby, we soon found the cache! A crafty hide!!

We too spent a bit too long searching in more obvious places before resorting to past logs. As I was reading through them, Mrs J stumbled upon the sneakily hidden cache! That seems to be the way things happen for us.

If there weren't so many other caches to find in the area, we'd have enjoyed exploring this track a little farther.

Thanks bregor.

21-Apr-12
Well, this one had everything...
I pulled up at the wrong parking spot, only to discover an amorous couple that were being way more amorous than smooching in a secluded parking spot! She quickly put her top back on, minus her bra, and hurriedly pulled her skirt back down! Then quickly jumped in the car, not before grabbing the knicks off the ground! LMAO
I never saw him, I assume he had jumped in drivers seat out eyesigt and started the car while the show was put on by the gf!
Anyways, I head off up the firetrack only to find it wending it's way away from gz... So at 200m from cache I head bush following the arrow, hoping I have the right coords in gpsr! And hoping to come across another track.
Well I found another track, within metres of gz! bugger.
Then spent the next 15 mins scouring the scrub, like so many before me so obviously had. No notes on me, no hints, no words of wisdom to enlighten me, when....
A call from the Starman about another matter yielded some insight, just as I was about to leave with tail between my legs. I did find a baggie at base of nearest tree, so had been thinking a muggle bandicoot had run off with the cache!
Found the cache right where the gpsr said it would be! Nice hide.
Grabbed the Catony frog tb, which wasnt logged in the cache LNSL
Thanks for the walk Bregor, 1st of 5 of yours this morning.

09-Apr-12
Third for the day. 3 kms and the little ones are tired TFTC!

01-Apr-12
We were on to this one before we knew it. There has been plenty of searching around the trees here. Thx bregor for the hide.

24-Mar-12
Placed hops the frog. Only a short trip!

15-Jan-12
I parked and came in from the Bandicoot gate. As I wandered along, the sweat started to build on the brow as it was quite warm. I did not see any birds or roos - it was really quite. A bit eerie.

The cache was found in the third spot I looked. If you are reading this and can't find it, I looked as you did in the 2 large obvious places. It's not there! But you know that. Wander around a bit and you will see it. Enjoy your wander. GZ is pretty much right on so just have a wander and don't sweat.

Thanks to bregor and clear skies from TeamAstro.

26-Dec-11
This one had me going. nearly gave up. Read all the logs so widened the search from the obvious. Bingo! Thanks bregor

05-Nov-11
A pleasant stroll into this one! Like a previous finder we basically fell into this!!! Thanks Bregor for the hide!

05-Nov-11
A nice small walk along a track, then off track briefly. CPWanderer almost fell onto the cache hide.

29-Oct-11
Saw lots of 'roos grazing this morning and even got within a couple of metres of one, before it hopped away Big GrinCool.
Looked around for a few minutes at GZ before finding the co-ords to be spot on [^]!
TN. Left 'DDRAMS' Round Tuit' GC. SL.
Thanks Bregor.

24-Sep-11
Nearly fell into this one after looking in the wrong location at first. Big Grin

03-Sep-11
New log sheet placed in cache today, inside small container.

21-Aug-11
Really enjoyed our walk through the bush to find the cache. We took the long way but it was a great walk. At the top of the track saw a camelia bush which was covered in flowers. Also saw a group of walkers who had stopped for a cuppa.

The cache was full of water. Emptied the water but contents are still wet.

21-Aug-11
That was neat. The bush is looking a treat. To find the cache was no great feat. It was right there at my feet. No rain today at least. No muggles to greet. We were gone in a fleet.

16-Jul-11
Found by Jacob on a great day walking. Signed log, LFTN TFTC, Cheers Team Sheplaw.

11-Jul-11
I was enjoying the walk so much I went past it. The find was a bit tricky as I was going to declare a DNF but then remembered something unusual.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

13-Jun-11
A pleasant little walk in the park to this one.
No Bandicoots were seen while hunting for this cache just some muggle walkers [^]
Cheers again.

08-Jun-11
Came at this one the long way with a hike along a creek bed then up to the cache. The GPS was a bit flaky but settled down and the cache was found but not where I expected it to be.
Thanks for the cache!

04-Jun-11
Found during an afternoon of caching in the Scott Creek to Clarendon area. Thanks for the cache bregor!

04-Jun-11
Found fairly easily by D, almost by 'accident'.

I ended up sending the 4Bs back to the track as sadly, the area around GZ is getting a bit trampled, but it may be a little more sparse in the summer months I suppose!

A lovely short walk in Scott Creek Reserve this afternoon. Spent a good 10 minutes until I located this one. So many possible hiding spots with dodgy satlock. Eventually fluked it and found the hiding place. SL. TFTC.

Day 302 of non-stop caching.

27-May-11
Close to the GZ met another cacher "DavMal60" who was on his way back to the vehicle. He'd just beaten me to the cache close by. A big hint enabled me to have access to the cache which I thought was pretty sneakily placed. (one of those that you find "accidentally") I enjoyed the chat. Thanks bregor.

27-May-11
Took about 5 minutes of searching before I literally tripped into it. Ah, there it is and the twisted ankle was forgotten about.Smile I was on the way back to the car when I met a person heading towards GZ with a GPSr in his hand. Turned out to be "Are we there yet" Thanks for the pleasant chat. TFTC bregor

Big Grin Bronze for me Big Grin ...a cunning hide.. Twisted ... Lucky for me because it only took me a few minutes to find it. I enjoyed my walk. Took TB
