Day 10 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. A leisurely drive up. Avoiding GC power trails. Randomly driving to various spots that take my fancy. Geospouse Graubunden now with me for five days. Before heading south, lets find some city hides. We found the box and the bicycle, but the bus kept running away from us. Wont stop. Searched the obvious structures a few times. Tried different combinations. After a little nudge from CO, still cant find it. Nor did Graubunden. We persisted and spotted the magic code. A favourite point from me too. Thanks 1MinnieMoo for your hide, my 2247 find.
My geocaching spouse and I are geotourists from NSW. Its been very challenging to work out mystery. Found it. Thank you
What a creative cache ! Unfortunately despite some ideas of what the bus could be, I was not able to make the association with the bike
We found the box and bike but the bus eluded us today. Not ready to seek assistance yet. Love the creativity here. Will be back on a cooler day to give it another go,
After attending this mornings event at Kangaroo Point it was only reasonable that some of us would continue on in search of caches in the area. The directions were followed, the cache located and the log signed. With everything back in place the crew moved on. TFTC
Before today's event andas I was early so I headed off to find a cache. Searching around I found it in a place that was 10 mtrs out from the posted. I signed the log and replaced it as found. It was then I watched a few more people turn up and go to the published coordinates and not find it there, it was funny. But I did help out and let them see where it was. From there I went to the event and then a few of us decided to head off and grab a couple more in the area. It was nice to grab a couple that I had sitting and not signed. This was an interesting cache to complete and a nice hiding spot.
A target cache that I had done a few years ago as RoddyC. How things change.Done with geofriends.TFTCache 1MinnieMoo
I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! A few days ago, I arrived in Brisbane and today I explored the city again. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I struggled a bit with finding all the needed information. Therefore I got some help and I could eventually log the cache. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
I arrived in Brisbane, from New Zealand, last Tuesday night, for a couple of weeks work. During my time here I hope to find several geocaches, but for many reasons none was more important to me to find than GC8E - Queens land. I always enjoy the old ones. So, after a morning of effort to 'fuel' up the car I had, I headed out to find that and have a walk around. Then on my way home, I stopped for a few more, like this one.I always enjoy a good field puzzle, and in preparation for this trip had looked at this one and knew I had to come and take a look. And look I did. I found the second and third components with no trouble, but where oh where was part one? I spent some time looking, and found a few possible options but clearly none were correct. So, I reached out to the CO - and got an immediate reply with some guidance that eventually got me what I needed. I'm not sure I would have found that without help. With all three parts, I combined them all together and the log book now has my name in it. What fun!---Thanks to K8'n'Co. and 1MinnieMoo for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.[DGSc-Puzzle] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.
I found it.TFTC!!I came from Japan to study on the Australia for three weeks. It was last day and free day in Brisbane.I was having trouble finding the key number and the CO gave me a hint and I was able to sign this wonderful cache. This is the most memorable thing I have found in Australia.Thank you for the cache and place !
I'm having an amazing time visiting da Bush Girl Downunder and sightseeing some new spots with da Bush Family. Last time I was in Australia was some 13+ years ago and I still love it here. It was only my final visit all those years ago that I became a Geocacher, so I had so many caches to find now I didn't know of! I only have limited time, so I picked a few good ones to target TFTC I really loved the cache setup here and see why it deserved all those favourite points (plus one from me!). Admittedly, I had some trouble solving the field puzzle and struggled to see the essential clue hidden in plain sight. After a half hour da Bush Girl and I didn't want to leave empty handed, so we reached out to the CO for help and she was most gracious - thanks! It was the icing on the cake to meet you the next day at the Crissy event! Thanks for an experience we won't forget!
Up in Brisbane for Magic Round (and of course caching!)- bit of touring around to different parts of the city.I needed a hand for this one which was much appreciated- the box clicked quickly- the bike- doh! But got there- the problem was the number- that took an age but also got there in the end! A really clever cache.TFTC!
What a great idea and hide. Thank you CO for something a little different. Tftc
famerlor_dragon saw that this cache was reactivated today. So we came in the late afternoon and the Box and the bike were quickly found. But the bus was a big problem. I don't know how long we were searching for the code...too long. But after a long time famerlor_dragon found it. We were finally able to sign the new logbook.TFTC geovi
FTF! Today, right after the reactivation of the cache, there came the opportunity to visit the GZ and we immediately jumped to it.The box was easy, so was the bike due to its proximity. Yet, the bus took us plenty of time despite looking right at it. Also, it is a quite challenging area if you look for the bus and supervise a kid at the same time. Lots of fast-moving traffic here.Yet eventually, fortune favored the bold and we found the bus (by association). That was quite a deserving feeling, when first the bike gave way and then the box as well.Thank you for making it straightforward yet challenging. A rare feat which we quite enjoyed.TFTC!
Aiming to get over with the replacement during the holidays once I get back from Canberra.
Yes Ive been slack with this one but havent completely forgotten about it, I promise!! Hope to get to it soon with the box replacement
Elina_maree and I managed to find the bus and the bike today but couldnt find the supposedly obvious box. A message to the CO and a few previous finders confirmed the box should be the easy part of the find but it definitely wasnt there.
That was such a fun cache! I arrived close to dark and figured out the box and the bike quickly, but got stuck on the bus. HmmmIll just sit here and watch buses go by, not looking dodgy at all! After far too long fruitlessly searching and musing I reached out to the CO for a hint. I was so happy I did, got a quick response and solved the final clue. What a ripper. You Brisbane folk do great caches!
Visiting from the Great White North. I have to say this cache might be one of my favourite if not my favourite in the 200 caches I’ve found so far. Figured out what I had to do when I approached GZ and found the box and the bike. Took a few attempts of utilizing the bike but got it on my third try. You have differently earned all the favourite point you’ve gotten.
Left some uniquely Canadian swag in the cache, and for anyone wondering, the boat on the 10 cent coin is called the Bluenose and it one of my favourite coin designs of Canadian coins.
TFTC very much as this was super fun

A friend was having a surprise milestone birthday party and a trip to Brisbane was required to attend.
After accidentally (on purpose), booking my flights a few days earlier, it was time to do some pre party caching around town.
Following my 4am wake-up to catch a 6am flight, the plan was to head north to find some challenges and other targeted caches.
Wow, why can’t I give this 3 favourites! I arrived at GZ well after dark and on approach noticed something odd. It wasn’t long before I had worked out the first two elements. I then proceeded to look for the third and thought this would be obvious, however my plan stumbled at this point as the obvious did not work.
I then discovered there had been a change and that my original thinking was likely to be correct, however since the change no longer works. I then spent forever trying to find the new replacement element and this took some serious time, as it wasn’t what I was expecting. I eventually found it, although I do hope you are able to restore it to its original method in due course as the current third element didn’t do this incredible cache justice.
With all parts of the puzzle complete, the logbook was soon in hand. A favourite point for the fantastic idea and excellent hide.
Thanks 1MinnieMoo for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Sometimes you find a cache. Sometimes you find an excellent cache. Sometimes you find a great cache. Sometimes you are amazed. So good.
Quick find of box and bike. Needed an assist with bus.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

We spent a lovely day out in the bikes today, cycling up and down the river and all around Kangaroo Point. After having a good look around, I found the box on my second attempt and saw why I needed to find the bicycle. Finding the bicycle led me to figure out why I needed the bus and that took the most effort, A bus even pulled in as I was hunting for the bus but it was of no assistance to me. I’m sure I must have looked over the correct area three times before realising that it was there. Back to the bike and the box and the logbook was finally accessed. What a novel cache this was! Thanks 1MinnieMoo
NAILED IT! It may have taken two attempts, and some help from the CO, but I got there eventually! I swear the bus didn’t show up on my attempt yesterday; perhaps the schedule doesn’t run on a Sunday (kidding… or am I?!)
Thanks for the cache and the great maintenance!

Oh this one is about to become my nemesis. Luckily my commute brings me nearby and I can keep trying after some planning at home. I decided to give up after more than 40 minutes here as I promised I’d have dinner with the grandparents. I’m sure I tried all the possible ways but I’m going to go home and work out how to be more methodical about it. The CO helpfully shut down one wayward thought - sometimes a bolt is just a bolt! I’ll be back, and hopefully soon!
Found at the second attempt and only after help from the CO. Thanks minniemoo!
After logging the Story Bridge virtual, I walked down to this cache, excited by the favourite points and interesting logs.
I found the box and eventually figured out what the 'bicycle' referred to. But I couldn't find the 'bus'. After quite a while at the stop, I went for lunch and messaged the CO.
After a bit of back and forth, I finally had a lead. I met Sharanyaexpress at GZ after her workday, and after a brief geocaching session with monorail7.
We followed the new information and finally accessed the really cool box.
Thanks for such a creative geocache!

Found with Jomingara. Thank you 1MinnieMoo for the very enjoyable cache and for the extra hint.
What a rippa cache !!!
Our first trip to Brisbane, and with soooo many FP's this was well worth a visit and we weren't disappointed...
A muggle waiting for a bus was keeping an eye on our movements, but lucky we made quick stix of signing the logbook
It was only a matter of minutes to find the box, the bike, and the bus and decipher what was required, it was our lucky caching day !!!
Great cache design and construction K8'n'Co. and 1MinnieMoo, another well deserved FP added to the loooong list !!!

Amazing fun. Took some help but the combo is there. Thanks for maintaining the cache. Travel bug found on its way to it's new home across the ocean.
Found the box and bike then got stuck on the bus. Took a bit, but finally found the info. Giving it a fav. TFTC!
Super cool cache. If it’s not the bus stop number, what could it be? I asked myself over and over. Stared at that bus schedule for 10 minutes. Then wallah, I saw the number that had eluded me. 30 seconds later the log was signed. Gets an FP. TFTC
That was a super cool cache. Logged onto the GC website and found that this was one of the most favourited caches round brisbane. Can definitely see why now!
Thanks for keeping this one up to date!
Everything in great condition here. Lots of workers about but far enough away to be stealth.
Left a little friend!

Once I figured out what I was looking for I did a good search but couldn’t come up with the bus. In the end I messaged the friendly CO who assisted me. What you need is there now.

Today I took the bus to the bus stop and found the information needed this time. Found the bicycle and the box and signed the log. Thanks for maintaining this fun puzzle cache. Fp for something different.
Back again, found the bus straight away, that has not been in place on my earlier visits. As I had located the box and the bicycle it was a quick log and away.
Leaving a fav point here

Bus has been replaced for now (will need an alternative style for future it seems). All good once more.
Found the box and bicycle easily but couldn’t find the bus. I contacted a previous recent finder, Willis007, and she gave me a hint but still no luck. I had been on the right track. She happened to be not too far away so kindly offered to meet me here but she too couldn’t find it so the bus information is definitely missing. Such a shame. Hopefully it can be replaced soon.
Third time looking for the bus tonight. Have located box and bike but the bus eludes me
I found the box and bicycle easily although I didn't realise the bicycle was the bicycle so I was doing an extra step. I think I was making it harder than it was. I was doing more maths than I think I needed to. I will go back and try again on the weekend.
Found it! is pretty proud of herself for finding the bus and the bike! A favourite point from us! TFTC
I wanted to finish an AL I had started a little while ago, seeing I was in the same area as this one I wandered up to suss it out.
Box was found straight away, bus took a little longer, the bicycle tripped me up. I had an idea in my head of where I should look, but came up empty handed. Scrapping that idea, I then noticed something I had discounted earlier and made the connection. Very shortly after I was signing the log!
Thanks K8'n'Co and 1MinnieMoo for putting this fantastic cache together and keeping it going. A fav from me.

Found but not too sure everything is where it should be. Was a lot easier than what is suggested by others. Thanks for the find and love the effort that went into this!
Rain rain and more rain was forecast for today! So the original plan was shelved (who am I kidding! I think this was plan F or G!) and we decided on doing some drive-by caches, labs and whatever else we could grab in between. Turns out the weather was a lot more pleasant than was forecast, which was rather fortuitous.
I had the pleasure of being watched by a prior finder while trying to solve / find this one. Thankfully I didn't emerge with egg on my face and it was rather quickly dealt with. What a clever clever cache! I was (and still am!) impressed. Well done Log signed and cache returned as found, were back on our merry way.

We found all the right pieces but we were a bit short on time (and maybe short on coffee?) so we couldn't figure out the missing key to the puzzle. Absolutely loved the setup though! Will have to come back in a more caffeinated state.
It was a lovely morning and DanSanHai had a great idea - try to find this cache that we had been eyeing off. We easily found the bus, box and bicycle... And after a bit of detective work, solved the puzzle. Tftc guys, this was a fun one. Another fp to add to this cache.
Was keen to find this one with Millzorz now it is back online. TB dropped off to continue on its way. TFTC.
Will us all there it made light work and so pleased to get this cache. Well set up and fave point from me!
Yes! I have had this cache on a watch list since learning a a great challenge cache in SA. I have since been collecting them. With three of the top faves off line it was a wait and see, finally yesterday the last of the three came on line and it was on the highest of priority list. Arranged to meet the group and turn this to a smile and then get some other good city stuff that a Sunday afternoon is perfect for.
Love the set up and is totally deserving another FP!

I was alerted that this cache was now back again. Given how long it had been on my todo list, it was time to finally grab it. Group assault made quick work of the hide. TFTC!
Group assault on this one meant it was a quick solve & sign. TFTP. Lots of fun
After a maintenance run w it h Fangsoki today, all components of this cache have been replaced.
The Box, Bicycle and Bus is once again running on schedule.
Thanks to pPrime for providing the 240volts on the run this morning!
Thanks to pPrime for providing the 240volts on the run this morning!
With school holidays now here, I am working on how to viably replace one of the missing components. Hope to have news on this shortly.
Have sourced some required replacement parts, and am getting bits as ready as possible for when I can head over to complete repairs on this one.
Called in to confirm 2 important parts are missing and dip my new shiny TMNT Raph.
Well, he couldn't actually get into the cache, because of missing components, but you know what I mean.

The Box, the Bicycle and the Bus was transferred from K8'n'Co. to user 1MinnieMoo
Had a look for this one tonight. We found the box, however were stuck on the Bus. Couldn’t find the bus so we asked for a hint, which confirmed we were looking in the right spot, but nothing could be found
Tried this one on our way to the airport. We found the box, but no luck with the bus or the bicycle. Maybe next time we’re in Brisbane.
Visited twice and came up empty handed. Found the box, contacted recent finder who confirmed I was searching for the right type of info in the right place so may be missing and couldn't find the bicycle. A little disappointing but thats caching. TFTC!
My hunt for this cache began a few weeks back when I arrived at gz finding a box. By association figured out where the bus should be, spent a long while finding a clue. With clue in hand I made some assumptions and headed off, past a suspicious tatty old bike chained to a post with a combo lock I could have sworn I had seen in a geocaching site. With that bike still bugging me I headed to to the coords I had worked out. Hunted around but no luck, Maby a mistake had been made, that bike is mighty suspicious Spent a bit of time trying to open the lock without drawing attention to myself real hard as it is now past 6pm and busy as. With light failing I message CO for a tip and head home. CO rapidly reply’s that the suspicious bike is in no way connected to the cache lucky for me the owner did not arrive as I was trying to “steal “ their bike!!! Returned today with a clearer head spent a bit of time hunting at the spot I originally should of tried and out pops the next piece. Signed the log, swapped a key ring for a key ring left all as found. Awesome adventure with danger and high jinx to boot. A FP from me for the sheer audacity to hide a box in plain sight in the way you have TFTC
Found the box and the bus fairly quickly. But not the bike. Looks like a great multi, but we got stuck here. Too bad. Thanks anyway.
Found with stairman1 and geopuppy. What a fun cache. I can see why it has a lot of favourites. Another one from geopuppy and I
Found with goldielover this beautiful morning. Checking out caches with favourites. Easy to see why this is one of those. Have another point.
Loved your cache. Very similar to one we found I Vancouver. Also got many favourites.

We enjoyed this one very much even though we were stuck at the bicycles for awhile, a quick PAF had us back on track and soon enough the log book was retrieved for signing. Definitely a favorite point from me, well done and something different for a change.

Thoroughly enjoyed this mystery! Had us scratching our heads and bushes at wp2 that a muggle thought we lost something. I saw 2 things at one stage but failed to suss it out, only when a PAF happened that it clicked.

We came across your cache, K8'n'Co., after attending an Event nearby.
We were here (by association) with E and Snickersallan. Found a bus and a bike. Oh, and a box! But we needed a FAF to clarify some things. WP2 very tricky. All sorted in the end.
Log signed and cache replaced at 1.10 PM on August 4, 2018. TFTC.

I found this one a little while ago when I was in Brisbane visiting family. Unfortunately I had to "flash" my phone, and I couldn't work out how to get my C:Geo backup to restore my data, so I lost all my saved logs, saved final coordinated for dozens of puzzle caches, personal notes etc. I'm only just catching up now on the last few logs.
Mr STW was still back in Malaysia, and I was on my way "home" after picking some locks with one of my kids. It was still quite early and I decided to stop and have a look at this cache, that has had me curious for some time. I must say, the cache didn't fail to delight! At first I was confused as to how to get to GZ for stage 1, but as I was coming from south, I found a convenient park (there were plenty, perhaps because it was night?) and I was thrilled to find a pedestrian tunnel going under the road, as I don't think crossing that road would be at all advisable. There I found ample parks that I would have been able to use if coming from the north, close to GZ.
I sort of worked out what I was meant to be doing, but after spending many minutes searching, I sat down on the conveniently-placed seat and started scrolling through the logs for clues. Didn't find anything especially helpful, except that it was cleverly hidden. Yes, indeed, a clever hide and ironically the first place I had looked! Seems like I could have saved the wear on the knees of my good pants!
What to do for stage 2 seemed obvious enough, so off I went, commenting to myself that, while bicycles can't go in reverse, cache titles sometimes can. now, if I thought stage 1 was tricky, stage 2 nearly go tthe better of me. Spider webs everywhere, but the next stage (even though I thought I had an idea of what to look for, different to stage 1) eluded me. More reading logs, more puzzling and searching. It didn't help that the GPS wanted to send me into some nearby apartments, but I worked out that a) it wouldn't be on private property, and b) where I was looking seemed far more likely. I was so close to giving up when I saw something just not quite right, and I had the sneaky little thingin my hand. I've seen a hide like that only once before, many years ago, and this one truly had me fooled!
So then it was back to the box, which I'd found straight away, sign the log and put everything back as I found it.
Thanks for the fun night-time adventure on a brisk winter evening. This was indeed a challenging and adventurous cache!

I tried. I found the box but that was about it. Maybe on another visit from SA. I did find the underpass to take me to the correct side of bridge for the virtual and had a nice ferry ride, so thanks !
Was curious and maybe even fearful of this one after reading the logs but today was the day! Spied the box straight up and after a few laps and poking about found the bus on probs the 3rd look at its location. Off to the bike which wasn't too much hassle and triumphantly back to unlock the box! Had a fun time. Very curious as to what the old bike used to be!
I have persevered with this cache for ages and it seems like forever. I first looked when I had no idea what a Puzzle cache was but didn't have any idea of what to do. Back sometime much later but still no idea. Then I was sure that the box was the box and later came the bus, now just the bike so I spent an hour looking for the missing bike and had to wait for it to be replaced. Then I couldn't find the bike but was close by so tonight I thought I would just drop by and gave a look before all the holidays are over and on closer examination I found the bike. Having found all 3 I then had to find the log to sign but that was easy because I had all the info I needed. Paperwork completed and cache and components all replaced as found. Great cache. TFTC
Back up and running with a slight change. You are on your own, phoning a friend won't help you now.
I have had a report that a component of this cache has gone missing for the second time in as many weeks. If this is the case I will have to re-think the component placement.
After a walk around the area enjoying the views, Selva Girls, my eldest geoteen and I proceeded to this cache I had heard so much about. With the geoteen busy taking selfies, and Selva Girls as a previous finder sitting down to enjoy the show, it was up to me to locate what was required [:O)] The first two items were located quickly, the third took a bit longer; with Selva Girls helping me along a bit with a game of "hot and cold". With everything located, we did what was needed and soon had the container and the log in hand. Loved this one! Take another FP K8'n'Co.
Tonight was our lucky night. Found all that was required pretty quickly and soon had the cache in hand. What a beaut cache!
Thanks for the fun. A Fav Point from us.

In brissy again for a couple a days before shooting off south (for the summer?), so thought i'd mosey on by on the tredly now the puzzle's all in place.
Knowing what to do, had the log signed and tucked back safely in it's niche in seconds. Pity it was a two part puzzle (for me) as the initial surprise would have been priceless.
Easily another fave, for the sheer ingenuity.
Thanking you immensely for the quick sally forth to right wrongs and making us all smile!

Well, funnily enough, found the box and the bus that everyone struggles with really quickly. Then went round in circles looking for the bike, until the heavens opened up and i had to get on my bike and scoot off.

Visiting Brisbane for the day with Eskies5 to collect a few caches that were on our to do lists. Our second on the list for today. This one had us scratching our heads and waiting for the bus to arrive to take the muggle away. Once he was gone I went back to check a place I had already search and I had the bus sorted. The bike quickly followed and all was left was the box. A great hide and TFTC K8'n'Co
Down from Toowoomba with Kestal to tick off some caches from different "to do" lists...mainly caches with lots of fav points and hidden dates. Arriving reasonably early we were fortunate enough to snag a carpark relatively close to GZ. We spotted the first two on approach but unfortunately a muggle was occupying the bus stop so we ignored them and vaguely wandered around seeing if we could spot from afar our last item. Beginning to wonder if we should move on when a bus approached and thankfully we waved goodbye to our "friend". Right...down to business! A quick once over of the area revealed nothing. I began thinking about other caches by the CO and an idea formed just as Kestal announced she had the bus...turns out it was the right method of concealment I was thinking of, I was just looking at the "other" common thing found at bus stops. Had everything we needed and voila...we soon had ourselves a log to sign. Thanks for the fun K8nCo...another fav point added.
I have heard about this cache and always wanted to visit. KerriMG and I had some time before school pick up today so decided to drop in here. Managed to find 30 minutes of free parking nearby so that was our time limit.
Well the box was easy to find. The bike was easy to find. Now we really need that bus. We looked high, we looked low and even lower but couldn't see it. Kerri had voiced her thoughts and while I had had a quick look there I went back for another look and there was the bus. Very well camouflaged.
Showed Kerri where it was and she remarks that's where I said it would be, but never actually looked there.
Log extracted and back to the car well under the 30 minutes.
Thanks K8'n"Co for another great cache. Add my name to the FP tally.

Out for the day caching with nikid1.
I drive past this bus stop on my way to work everyday & have always wanted to have a look for it & today was finally the day.
We quickly found the box & the bike but now where is the bus. After reading the hint I immediately said the bus will be on 'x' or 'y' & proceeded to search 'x' & completely forget about 'y'! Luckily Nic didn't & after a second look found the bus so we had all the information we required.
Log book found, signed & replaced nice & safe.
TFTC K8'n'Co, it was very cleverly done & lots of fun, a favourite point from me
