Given the string of DNFs (if you exclude the claimed find for Mothers Day that isnt dated Mothers Day - a bit dodgy?), can the owner please check and confirm that the cache is still there?
Thanks
Thanks
Today was DNF day, my attempt to find caches previously DNFd. It proved to be DNF day in the more obvious wat though, as I racked up more DNFs.
This is my 2nd attempt since my previous DNF, I searched thoroughly both times, but even with some intel from a previous finder I still came up empty.

I looked very thoroughly for a very long time in the dark. A good 25 minutes and then rereading logs and listing I tried again. Motivated by making my critic of the cache more believable with Find than DNF.
I really think hiding something in bushes is not a good idea, its no the first time I have seen this but luckily not too many cachers do it.
1. You can say be careful with the plants, if you hide it in there people will have to look through there so inevitably the plants will suffer!
2. It is extremely hard to confirm if it is gone or I am just blind not seeing on the hunt. In this example I am pretty sure it is not there (after reading all hints in logs and description and rechecking) but then again I might just have overlooked it. Something that is just impossible to convince yourself of with this sort of hide. And so if it is gone walkabout then people waist tons of time searching for it....
Thanks for the effort of setting up a cache, but please in future not again in bushes like that.

Searched and searched, got a paper/grass cut! Coming back with gloves next time.
Having tried this one some time ago and being muggled out, today in the rain was the time and a quick find had. TFTC
A little spooky at night in a storm. Those little statues gave me a heart attack, very creepy. I'm sure it's a lovely spot in the day though. Found the spiral and the cache soon after. TFTC
Haha! Gotcha.
We avoided the family having a BBQ, and enjoyed our wander through this cute park (which I didn't even know existed!)
I've never seen a cache container like this before, so it took me a few attempts to open it. Silly.
The artwork nearby is... interesting? However, I think my favourite part of this cache is how the spirals look on the satelitte.
Very cool!
Thanks for the cache geo-hack.

Found @ 1815 in the rain. I spent a bit of time searching where my GPSr thought it was with no success - it's been a bit unpredictable recently, so I snuck a peek at the hint to confirm I was on the right track. D'hoh! Missed by one! TNLNSL-TFTC
Looked around the area for ages getting spiked in the wrists and forearms by various plants but all to no avail.
Spent a fair while searching in the place suggested in the hint when hey presto there it is! An original container and quite difficult to find something so small in vegetation like this but the co-ords are good so that helped. Just work your way through and you will get there. TFTC
Tried to grab this cache while I was frog hunting, but it eluded me with its elusiveness. I will try again another time.
Cheers

A funny little park in this older part of the city. Found quickly with the hint, to avoid being too obvious, although there weren't many people out in the sun on such a warm day. Thanks geo-hack.
Oh the sweet smell of success! The longer it takes to find it, the more satisfactory it is once you do. TFTC!
Interesting container, this was a first for me. A lucky find soon after arriving at GZ. I think I was just extremely lucky as I thought this was going to take a while.
Nicely hidden in the second spiral ring. Another interesting development in this suburb. Check out the wetlands not far away.
Second time lucky here with others today but cache definitley not in this exact spot a couple of weeks ago. Made a less obvious rehide. Its a nice spot here and we did some reminiscing about parts of our childhood spent nearby.

Wow, this park is so close to some of our extended family, so we parked at theirs & took the littlest cousin who had cached with us down the coast. She has bright eyes and found it straight away - loves the experience. TFTC
Ah yes the old micro in the long grass trick!! these caches can be really hard to find and you never know what your going to come across along the way. We had to consult the hint for this one and after a short search soon had the goods in hand. Thanks for the cache geo-hack.
Found at 7.30pm GAFF5 in the company of Blackie_71, Browngang, Chewinprickles, and Robmc. Captain Tomato was also there as an observer to this expedition.
We totally avoided looking in the area where the cache was located as we thought - "surely we are not meant to go searching in and destroying that!" But we eventually had to ( (not much destroying btw)
Thanks geo-hack
Feedback: This would be a much more enjoyable cache if it was placed in one of the more solid structures.

Interesting little sculptures nearby. We spent a bit of time looking in the middle of the spiral before consulting the clue. (The whipper snipper helped )
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
There was a bit of discussion here along the lines of "it's not there surely" but it was. Once again there's advantages in numbers. I remember a similar place in Adelaide.
Thanks geo-hack

Found on the way to a caching blitz to Canberra, from Port Macquarie with Blackie_71, pprass, Robmc and Chewinprickles. tftc.
#229 YES I found it was a bit worried beacuse of recent DNF'S.

Definitely needed the hint for this one, but pleased to make the find.
Thanks for a good hunt.
Thanks for a good hunt.
Found with The Rats and Hoojar on long days run through Canberra.
Very interesting art indeed! The sculptures were interesting to say the least and thankfully with the hint and the co-ords spot on we had the cache eventually. Thanks!

What an unusual/interesting cache. Despite the darkness we eventually found this cache thanks to a very thorough description!

First of quite a few finds tonight in the company of hgl. This cache was discovered much faster than expected! TFTC, and hi from Melbourne!
Back in Canberra for work I grabbed the opportunity to head out with Lochb for a little capital city tour and night cache raid. This was the first stop, watching the GPS needle I was in the middle of the spiral before I even noticed that there was one! Stepping back we used our cunning orienteering skills to decipher the clue and make the find! Lochb tried to squeeze a couple of TBs in the cache, however as they did not fit - i took them. Thanks geo-hack for an interesting tucked away spot.
Pretty quick find even though we thought we would be there for awhile. Seems we are following the Bushies2 around which is good for them, since we have also found their phone. Does that count as a cache?

No joy with this one...didn't like to damage the plants but tried to search as much as we can but couldn't find...then we came back here an hour later because Mr Bushies2 lost his mobile and thought maybe it fell off his pocket here and we searched again for his mobile but nothing.
Started on a big walk, thought I'd pick this up the way. Forgot pen, so went back home to grab one...take two! Nice to see a cache in this park, TFTC.

On a quick night ride in from belco, i thought i would swing on by(pun intended) and have a look at this park...the sunlight was fading, and as i approached GZ, i noticed a bunch of young kids playing soccer close by.. As i rolled up and started searching, a very polite kid asked if i had lost something.. I said i had lost a watch, and he replyed" someone else was here not long ago and i think they found it and took it".. He asked if he could help and i said no thanks, i think my "friend" may have found it.. He went back to his game and i continued searching.. Found the nicely waterproofed container shortly afterwards..thanks for bringing me to this unique little park..tftcsl

What a nice little park! I had to be stealthy here as some girls were playing football on the other side, but I managed to find it without problems. Like some previous cachers mentioned I was a bit worried about damaging the environment while scrambling through the "grass" there. Thanks for bringing me to this lovely spot anyway, TFTC!
Found in the company of Marcus Vitruvius on chilly early morning in the ACT for a big days caching.
Found this cache after a brief search - could have easily been here for longer - a good start to the day thanks Geo-Hack.

Reperio at 0620. Off to an early start this morning on a caching run around the ACT, and with the help of Haveanez on the hunt, the unusual container was soon discovered. This one could have easily taken a lot longer to find, so we were grateful it was found quickly.
Gratias geo-hack.

Was slightly easier than expected following dire warnings from RedcrowX. A lovely little garden, great for kids. TFTC!
Great little playground - being used by a couple of littlies today. Too good to be inside. needed the hint tftc.
The green belts through Canberra suburbs are fantastic and this one is no exception. It was a popular night for dog walkers and more than one pooch took keen interest in what two people were doing searching around their park. The container was in hand after about ten minutes and the log signed not long after. Time for the pub! TFTC
Found @ 1:51pm
A relatively quick find (despite using Geosphere on my iPhone4) but the log was jammed deep into the container. Luckily I had some tweezers and was eventually able to extract it - hopefully the next finder won't have any trouble!

Got to this gz with Albida today, found while he was watching me, thought it was going to be a sort of cache that I have seen using this type of plant but it wasnt. TFTC geo hack
Lots on at work today and a late after dark finish. I tried this one on the way home, and did not realise it would be so difficult until I started reading when I arrived. As it turned out it did not take too long, but that may just have been luck. Thanks.

This area was familiar; used to ride through here (but no park then). GPS wandering a bit, so had to go around a few times. Hint slightly useful, but generic (although I notice it has been updated since my PQ!). Found OK in the end. Would have been quicker with the new hint!

Rated: for Overall Experience
A great park with some great landscaping. Ms RedcrowX & I spent quite some time searching to no avail. Trying to avoid snoopy kids and not damaging the flora made the searching even more difficult. I was starting to think we were going to have to log this one as a could not find, when along came Tankengine to add some new blood to the search. Thankfully Tankengine decided a 'phone a friend' was in order for some clues, and with that the cache was found!-Yay!
I agree with some of the other posters about some aspects of the flora here being a little too fragile for repeated searching by cachers.
Thanks for leading us to this great little park. TFTC

The first for me today while out enjoying some sunshine... nice spot. Thanks...
A cute little garden.
I too would like to express my concern about the grass and the garden - it will take a beating over the months/years by people even carefully searching for this. Like the previous finders, I too would like to suggest it be removed out of the grass/garden. (Or put at the base of a tree with a clear hint - at base of tree).
But anyway. thanks for a nice little surprise in the middle of O'Connor.

Lovely spot! Pity about the hide but… (Wouldn’t want to see this place trashed…) Either a much better hint is required (The existing hint was about as useful as a wet nappy), or the cache should be moved to where there is less chance of damage to the environment… I met the RedcrowX team here, and they had been searching for quite a while – so I called the hint line, to narrow down the search. Found it! Mind you, there did seem to be some excellent locations to hide a cache here – maybe they could come into play? Thanks for the fun anyway, and introducing me to this interesting place!
What a great day to be out and about caching with my mate Secret Squirrel. The sun was shining and the sky was nice and clear and 21 more caches ticked off our unfound list. TFTC
Interesting grass spiral and park, tucked away in the suburbs.
A little concerned that hide is in a pretty delicate area; might not stand up well to lots of searching.

What a glorious day in Canberra! A beautiful clear blue sky with no wind. Crisp in the morning and warm in the sun. 21 geocaches found with my best mate Captain Tomato.
A lovely little hidden playground - with an interesting spiral, some sculpture and inset mosaic tiles on the path - nice

Now....I saw where this was and had to park just a teensy little further than the ideal location because my Dad actually grew up not very far from here in the 50's. I parked right outside the house...took a few sneaky pics... and regaled my companions (who probably weren't all that interested in a dilapidated looking fibro) with my ability to draw a floor plan of it despite my last visit inside being in around 1974. Many memories.
visiting the area after a few caches in the nearby bushlands and Batgirl had this in her GPS thankfully, on approach with Batgirl and Dopplefrog , I was a bit worried as the playground was fully occupied with muggles but we seemed to be in luck as GZ was just out of sight.
A nice area to be sure, and very interesting use of grass.
After a bit of searching eventually doppelfrog came up successfully with the container
Note I am a bit worried /concern about the placement on this one as it might encourage damage to the garden over time, so I would suggest moving it out of the "grass" to avoid issues later.
thanks for the cache.

Only had one torch between us to search GZ with but still managed to find the cache quickly. TFTC what a great hidden pocket of Canberra.
Saw this pop up, it was lunchtime and no 2o'clock meetings to rush back for, so jumped in the car and crossed the lake in the hope of a FTF. Arrived to find M_Family and Black Bunny already on the scene. A few minutes of searching between us and M_Family spotted something out of place and giving us a joint *FTF*. TFTC
3832 + 186 = 4018. Found this afternoon after work with Sol.
This one appeared before we left work so it was added to the list for this afternoon run. We were lucky that we were shielded from all the muggles by the shrubs. It took a few minutes of searching but then Sol made the find - well hidden geo-hack !
TNLN - TFTC !!
Cheers....

WooHoo! New cache.
Just time to grab the caching cap and out the door.
On the way I came across some strange people who fore!t they were invisible. While I was still yelling at them McPhan drove up and started yelling at them too.
The lights changed and I figured that I had company on the FtF hunt because the McP mobile followed me almost all the way to the GZ parking spot. As it was he drove within 100m of the party that was already going on.... and kept going.
I don't know why I thought that I was going to get first this deep within M territory.
It was a good chase with many caching teams found along the way.
Oh yes. GZ and the cache are great too.

A new cache not more than 1500m from work, I thought why not, M_Family may be busy so I can get in and out quickly, alas it was not to be. Arrived at a nice empty GZ and was in the middle of checking the cache information when M_Family joined the hunt. About 3 minutes into the search and JustinCBR joined in for a mini mini i-caching event and hunt for the cache. After lots of discussion about the gravel and the varying GZ options given M_Family finally made the find. After a quick "will we see a TE sticker" the cache was opened to a nice clean log and a joint *FTF*.
Thanks for the cache geo-hack and showing us this nice little park.

I arrived at GZ to find Black Bunny staring at his iDevice. Then JustinCBR rocked up with his larger iDevice. I happened to have mine also:-) A few minutes of search and guessing at the description and clue and I lucked upon the cache! Nice container:-). So joint FTF (M_Family, Black Bunny, JustinCBR). No sooner was the device signed and hidden but senior Sam Walkers arrived and found it fairly quickly. TFTC!
This was a case of heading in the right direction. Fitzy and I were off looking for a few others when this one came up before we left work. Parked in the nearby street and started the search. Took a few minutes to find the hide, even with the co-ords being just about spot on.
Thanks for the fun though.....all good
