With so many DNFs I didn't spend too long searching. I searched in the surrounds and tried to reach the top of the post, but my fold up stool wasn't tall enough. This needs checking, as at least one of the recent finds was also a DNF.
Went where the gps pointed-both sides of the road at varying times. No find. Thanks anyway
Another cache found during our 2022 South Australia Adventure using Geocaching as our guide.
Thanks for the cache wheres wolly, unfortunately it beat us today.

Time to make some miles and get home today, finding a few caches along the way [^].
WOW ! This was a challenge with the grass growing profusely all along the fence-line and through the saltbush .
Searched 10 metres up and down from the sign, eventually locating it close to where we started .
TNLNSL.
Thanks Wheres wolly.

After traipsing around Western Queensland for 4 1/2 weeks then having to head to Northern Territory to try and get back home that way due to border closures.
I had one of my many permits that I applied for over the course of the last week and I made the NT, SA at 6am and headed straight to Woomera after doing about 830kms.
Settled in at the caravan park had a few beers and some tea.
Got up early hooked up the van and spent the early morning finding all of the caches in Woomera then to continue my journey south towards Quorn which is my next stop.
Nothing like towing a caravan into a 40km head wind, I’m just watching the fuel gauge go down rapidly.
Turned off the main Hwy and are now heading towards Quorn for the night.
This is the last one for the day as with smaller roads it is not always easy to pull over with a van in tow.
Found the Black Kanga and now to get to Quorn and set up.
Thanks wheres wolly TFTC.

At Quorn for the 2019 JLWE and this was a quick stop on the way home. As we pulled over, Barnic thought we had an issue and came back to check. After telling them that we were fine and we had stopped for a cache, they joined the hunt and made the find. TFTC
We are in Quorn for the June Long Weekend. We are pseudo JLWE eventers as whilst we are here we are not doing the game day on Sunday. But with so many cachers around and so much going on couldn't resist making the journey up.
Camping at the Quorn Campsite so the hound doesn't upset anyone, what a lovely campsite it is too.
Had an terrific day of caching, today was about quality over quantity. It was a wonderful day to be alive, the scenery was spectacular, we loved seeing the Pichi Richi train. Quorn is a lovely place, we found the people to be so welcoming. We couldn't do as much as we wanted with the dog in tow but we still had a brilliant weekend.
Without a doubt we will be back up here sometime to head a bit deeper into the Flinders Ranges and see a bit more of the lovely scenery.
Heading our way back to Quorn to get back for the dinner. Stopped at this one, geohusband was about to give me a leg up to a T3 rating hide when I realised it wasn't a T3 at all. Then it was a quick find. TFTC where's wolly

Quick find while spending some time in Port Augusta on my way around Australia... 18 months on the road so far. TFTC
We have been travelling since January when we left Geelong and travelled up the centre to Alice then Darwin. We crossed the border into WA at the start of May and completed the Gibbs river road which has been one of the highlights so far
From Broome we travelled to cape leveque to find the best beach ever
From Broome we have then zig zagged from coast to inland to make sure we saw as much as we could
We are travelling along at our own pace and so will cache and see as much of the area as we can
Honestly it’s thank to caching that we get to see so much
TFTC
We have decided to stop in port Augusta for a few days as it seems to always be a place we drive straight through on our way back and forth up and down the centre

Quick find with a bit of a leg up, on our way back from a weekend away in the Flinders!
With our Flinders Ranges geocaching weekend at an end, jesswrigley and I were headed back to Adelaide via Port Augusta and various geocaches in between.
A quick driveby here, and the higher than normal D/T attracted us to this geocache. There seemed a few likely spots, but only one to have the higher terrain rating. However, the geocache seemed missing. A nearby search of the area then had the geocache found. The coordinates seemed 10 m out for us today. We replaced the geocache in the right place, and continued on our way. Thanks.

Mrs Gizmo escaped for a two day caching trip to Port Augusta with Dr Owl and CPwanderer.
Day 2 had us making a few finds before breakfast and a few more before lunch. Then we made our way home, caching along the way.
A quick find and we were on our way again.

Hi there wheres wolly.
We found your cache **"THE BLACK KANGA"** at 11:38:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15888).
We cached around the Stirling North area today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 11 caches with 1 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book have been soaked at some stage.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Easy find. Book very wet due to recent storms. Left the bag open to dry out. Maybe will come back on hot day and try to dry it out.

Nice little geocache. Needs a little maintainance. Perhaps next to search for could hring a new bag for log.
5481 Found by baby&Mrs gopher on our drive around South Australia with Nodalot today at 1205. The container was in a very sorry state so we replaced it with a clip lid container almost as big as the one that was there. Hidden behind a brown rock. SL Tnx wheres wolly.

Signed log but container will not withstand any rain as it is destroyed. TFTC. SL.
On my way to Dutchman Stern for a week with my walking trails maintenance group. I had some spare time so decided to explore the local area and find some caches.
A quick find but if this area gets its much needed rain the log will not survive as the container is badly damaged.

Found on a beauitful day trip to quorn for the coffee pot train ride container all broken and note pad affected by water
At GZ I stopped the geomobile and found ...
.... THE BLACK KANGA !! [:o]
This black kanga was not as amimated as the one I saw at close range earlier this morning,
but the similarities were all too obvious
Hitting either of the black kangas I met this morning at speed would do damage to the car !! [:o]
This BLACK KANGA is easy to not hit
Real black kangas are better dealt with by driving slower and just hoping you don't hit them
The cache was found within a few moments, just a hop, skippy and jump away from the road
