Making our way towards home over the next few weeks travelling with 2 dogs and a cat we have found caching a great way to give the fur babies a break. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining.
Found with DennisC52 while on our half lap of Australia. Thanks (owner) for the cache.
Found with Loopy1972 on our half lap of Australia via Darwin, QLD and NSW. Log is 10m from GC and very wet. Thanks bassinaround for the cache.

Been working around Canungra for a couple of months and on the road back home to Manda.Stopped here for a quick grab on the way past.Despite he best efforts of CO water has got into cache container and the log is a little soggy. TFTC
This doesn't appear to be the original cache. I found shards of a previous cache, which I picked up and disposed of. It was lucky this cache was out in the open, because my Garmin was out about 9m, preferring S 31 28.675 E 145 50.360, I was looking where the GPS took me, but then I glanced further away and spotted the cache. I tipped water from the cache. Needs a new more waterproof cache, and a dry log. TFTC Mchfam.
We found your cache today 26 May 2024 10:48am , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC bassinaround
#19577 - 8:27:00 AM; Day three of a road trip taking the long way to Adelaide from the National Capital with the geohoney. Spent the night in Cobar, so set off this morning for a caching run around the town to collect a few more caches before hitting the road for Broken Hill. Managed seven from seven this morning. All were in reasoable order and were returned as found once logs were signed. Picked up some bindis here as I started by barking up the wrong tree after following the GPSr. Read some earlier logs and headed for the track along the fenceline and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC Mchfam
On our travels we found ourselves in Cobar and took the opportunity to grab some caches, our gps was way out on this one but still hawk eyed geo hubby spotted it, the cache was a bit wet but still able to sign the log, thanks for placing it
Out caching with my caching buddy, MrsShep77, and our faithful drivers. Thanks for the great hides.

Staying a few days in this great town went for a Sunday drive to get a few caches quick find thanks for the cache .
Freddo and Team Waldron headed to warmer climes around Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Cunnamulla
and Charleville.
After a cold start in Broken Hill the weather improved once we got further north. Sadly our last night in Broken was wet which, pardon the pun, put a dampener on things.
All up it was a great week away and lots of caches were found with only 3 dnfs.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained their caches. The occasional cache was damaged and we refurbished it and we also left new logbooks as required.

We continued today our tour in NewSouthWales, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to bassinaround for the generation of this nice cache Cobar Auto (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.
By chance our geocaching friends The Bebes and PelDroedGwin were in Cobar and we teamed up to clean up the remaining caches in and around Cobar. Some fun tracks were conquered with our big 4WD truck.

Staying in Cobar for a few days, caching is a great way to see the sights of the town.
Took the off road route to almost make this a p’n’g.

Ocw the Bebes to clear a few caches in Cobar today. We went down the track at the back and got real close to an obvious spot and there it was. Tftc
A definite bush bash through the weeds, only to find this quite some distance from where GPS had GZ
A bush bash to this one. Not sure if we took the hard way but log signed and job done. Thanks
Found with tassie expat. Container needs attention and we didn't have one. Thanks for placing it.
A quick find with frmen1. Was going to report the broken container, but someone has replaced it since (thank you to the geocachers who were better equipped than us). TFTC
This cache is one of numerous caches that I found on my trip from Cobar to Charleville. I found most of the caches were either too small (the area lends itself to much larger cahes than nanos, bison tubes and mint tins), the coordinates were out, or there was no real reason to have a cache there except to boost numbers. Which is a pity because the area is full of history and magnificent views and wonderful spots that geocaching could bring people.
I have this cache on my list of finds, so my name is in the log book, but I don't remember actually finding the cache.
I did however have an amazing drive, full of scenery. Just a pity about the caches.

Decided to knock off this cache as I’ll be hitting up the powertrail tomoz. And then pop into the store as it’s a public hol on Monday. Cobar surely couldn’t get much quieter
Nothing at the posted coords ‘tho there’s a shady tree I searched around thoroughly. Then read a log and realised I needed to expand the search. The cache is around 9m closer to the fence so just keep walking until you see a potential hide.

Another early start from Broken Hill for our caching trip with Wilbert67.
Trip so far has been quiet good except the COVID-19 that made us do a trip diversion.
Now travelling to Cobar and picking up caches along the way.
Thanks to all the COs for the placements of their hides.
Glad for a quick find in the 48 heat. SO HOT

After a very hectic day we managed to escape SA, Ending up in Wentworth way after midnight. This morning on day 6 of our road trip it was re planning time, no caches for hundreds of kilometers either way. So we ended up heading to Broken Hill and Silverton. Great caching day, but again very hot!

West New South Wales trip 2020. Day 2. I was joined by MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a trip planned to go from Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranald. After a sleep in we left our overnight stop at Warren and headed to Cobar via Nyngen. There were a few caches along the way, but most of the action was the Australian Towns series North of Cobar, and a great selection of local caches. The two Earth caches were the highlight.
The took a bit of finding, and when it was found it was about 10m off GZ.
Thanks for the cache Mchfam
