Me & my family, we went to this beautiful Nan Tien Chinese temple to pray & visiting as well, this place is huge & massive. After that, we went searching for this cache very nearby to the temple, we stopped by at the car park beside an electrical compound. At GZ, GPS took us to this exact location but no idea what is GR8 coz we are from Malaysia. After awhile, we went further but get further, back to the exact location, cache has to be here, with a bit of shaking it, something moved, we knew it we got the right spot, cache was found in a very unique place.TFTC to Co for placing a cache for us to enjoy geocaching
Came with Ramakristan together with our son & his wife to Nan Tien Temple before 12 noon for lunch & do some prayers as well, a beautiful temple, heard it is the largest temple in NSW.After exiting the temple gate, we went looking for this cache, we knew we had the right spot, checking other logs, it sounded easy peasy, finally after further checking, it have to be the likely place to hide, wolah in the end we found it, a nice unique cache.TFTC to Co, our very 1st time to Wollongong .
I'm glad I managed to make this a smiley face after my previous failed attempt. Basically, I think I really rushed this the first time I attempted this cache . I really didn't read the description well enough . Thankfully, the CO pointed out my failings . At the end a very clever hide for a cache and its even engraved looks like someone has a good TOT to be able to this so professionally . TFTC Playfly
I came and looked for awhile without any luck . My initial thought it would be in the G8 but that proved fruitless
Oh what a gr8 idea! Searched this one at night but was probably to my benefit as no foot traffic around. What a fun find and a clever cache idea. No tool was needed to retrieve tonight but could see how it might be needed
What an awesome hide. Took a little time. As we are n00bs!Log is a little damp from all the rain.
Find # 1225627/5/2024 09:05DAY 3Caching adventures continue and trying to tick off as many on the solved pile as I can. Headed across to the coast for the long weekend to meet up with a few other CBR cachers. The main target is the SES series, having worked on these puzzles last year and gradually made the solves. Some with help and others straightforward. Either way it was an enjoyable series, generally. Now its time to collect. And of course with so many others to choose from in this area, its a busy weekend.Always shenanigans in a group as you never quite know what might happen but its guaranteed to be fun! The group consists of Joolay, KittyKatch, isopeda, minniek, and fitzy_65. Signing as SHIAll caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks Platyfly for who's looking
Out for a long weekend caching with friends, but only Contesta and I had not found this one previously. We were lured by the high FP count and were not disappointed. So we quickly stopped here between caches and made the find. Very neat cache!I was unable to get the wet mushed up log back in it, so removed it. TFTC
Day 5. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.
Wollongong to Sydney today with lots of detours.
A very clever hide here, glad there was no one around while I was searching.
Thanks Platyfly for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Love love love this one! I finally understand now what everyone means by super creative! Excellent work with this geocache! Cheers for the fun
We found it on the 16 of july 2023 we were scared at first because of the voltage but then I found a little screw magnet and then I found the metal part with the bag inside with the goodies thank you
Found It!
Neat hide that I spotted after a short search. The cache has (so far) survived the construction work happening here.

Found with Mrs BillHill, doing some around the Wollongong Areas, Getting away from Lake Macquarie for a couple of days, on this fine Autumn day. Nice container larger then expected, no TB though.
Signed log and Cache replaced as found.

I'm after at least 6 finds today to appease the Calendar Caching Gods, but why stop at 6? Decided to head down to the Illawarra for a day of finds, but unfortunately I racked up a large number of DNFs as well. That certainly wasn't the idea! As a result, it was a much longer day than it should have been.
And I suspect about half of the DNFs I just simply missed.
Ah well, that's caching for you.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
A surprisingly quick find of a cleverly constructed container - have a favourite.
Even though I brought my tool I didn't need it. But council workers had done a good job of camoing it.
Signed, replaced and away.

Day 5 of our Christmas Travels. Travelling and caching with RoddyC to Canberra Bathurst and return.
Heading now to some target caches.
Our TOTT was too short for this one so had to bring out the BIG one.
Happy Christmas everyone.

On a five day trip to Canberra collecting the odd LGA here and there.
Nice fit makes it a clever hide. A Favourite therefore.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10:31 AM on December 19, 2022. TFTC, Platyfly

Find with WaywardWoman while caching in the Wollongong area today. Hints from previous logs made our find easier. Very tricky. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
#6659-Very well done! Found with thomo31 while heading for the nearby AL. A favourite point from me
Most times we just bypass Sydney via the M7 & M2 so haven't had the chance. However this time we thought we would try to grab a few new LGAs taking the East Coast home. Unfortunately the standard (nee - terrible) Sydney weather, stopped that happening. Yes I can bag Sydney weather, I lived here for 5 years.
Interesting hide but I was onto it straight away and had a tool. I played the "I'm supposed to be here card" and just ignored all the traffic.
Thanks for the cache Platy Fly

The posted coords made me look in wrong places. Hint: gr8
The hiding spot was one of the first spots i checked, with a pen ..and felt nothing.
Later, after going through previous logs I realised that I should have gotten on my knees and looked through

Day two on our caching weekend away and Tankengine and I were looking forward to the day.
We had all seasons and it was rather warm - I even got sunburnt. We made some great finds, saw some sweet views and then caught up with the rest of the team before dinner.
This cache: A well made cache and so much effort put into this one. The engraving is very interesting to see. Thankfully easy to retrieve and nothing lost. Tftc!!!

Very clever hide. Glad for the tools left lying around to let us know we were at GZ. TFTC
OCW Mizcupcake tonight in the area and out late/early again. Have to say it might even be the best time to be attempting this one. Tricky hide that had us thinking until we searched all the usual areas, i suddenly spotted something I missed that made me think and we headed to it. Okay, lesson not learned here, we still do not read descriptions and attributes after all this time. But we we’re lucky to have some available TOTTs that always come in handy for this type of thing. Soon had CIH and we SL happily. Got to give this a FP! TFTC!
Find #167 for the tribe, day 20 of our mini streak.
Came to get this one this morning but gas pipeline worker muggle was looking at the gas pipeline sign close by and there were also some council guys nearby looking so went to work instead of having a proper hunt.
Came back again after work for another look. This time thankfully nobody was looking so I had a look and found the good looking cache. My tool of the trade was an agapanthus flower stem. Nice and long with a perfect diameter and did the trick perfectly.
Cache in excellent condition. Wow some effort has gone into this cache. Very impressive Platyfly. Replaced zip lock bag.
Thanks for the cache! Really enjoyed this one.

12:20 Found a 30min wait to get into the temple. Decided that was a sunk fallacy and came for this instead. Found a suitable stick, which I left nearby. Excellent hiding spot, very tidy engraving work on the container, quite enjoyed this hide.
Took lego man, left band aid and hair ties. Also sharpened the pencil.
Log dry and plenty of room. The pen may not work, but the pencil does. Bring a replacement bag at least for the log, the existing one is a bit torn up.

Wow what a stunning find, this one had me stumped for a while and after even reading the logs for clues and looking at the pictures in the gallery, it still took a while for it to “click”. My fastened my make shift tool which was a rolled up cardboard backing for a head gasket made for a Toyota 5sfe engine. This tool worked a treat and the cache was in hand soon after, thanks for the cache!
Now that was just excellent and a definite favourite for us at the 4,700 milestone. A few weeks ago Mrs Gaztek rescued a TOTT that had lost its head, been discarded in the bush and was previously used in a game chasing a tiny ball around. It was perfect for here. What a well constructed and professionally ‘labelled’ container. We admired the handiwork and placement. Really, really good! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Thankfully the cache wasn't as hard to get as I thought as I didn't bring a tool (that's what I get for not reading the description)

Our family found this one this morning. We waited until Sunday to hopefullly reduce the amount of people around. There was no one around. After a bit of looking around using the tool we were recommended to bring we found it. Took an army man and left a character tile. Thanks for a creative hide.
4 blokes and a truck driver. Yes the gates were opened.
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.
