Cache has gone missing. It always did cause controversy so I won't be replacing it.
TaurusSix and I spend quite some time looking under every bit of wood, for there were no bits that looked significantly different from the others. Nothing found. As for lunch spot it was very well found.
No no nano for me! I lifted, looked and replaced all over the place but no joy! Must be well hidden. I'll have another go at this another day
522. This was one of the finds out of 52 that I found with Cankid today. We went on about a 40 km bike ride around the Mulligans flat area, and most of the containers we found were quite abnormal.
Lol, this was a very hard cache, even with the hint. All the pieces of timber looked different to me, but eventually found it (thank god). This is a great cache and it gets a favorite point.
Thanks for the cache, Bruces run

#619 This was cache find number 12 for nemo and I today. Took a while to locate. TFTC
Found this one facing shiny side up (animals?), so it was pretty easy to find once the right spot was reached. TFTC.
Found it easily - the sun was shining off the capsule. I covered it a bit and moved it back to where the hint said it was. Thanks for the cache.
drag JJ and friend out doors into the sunshine and away from the computer. Found the cache easily. TFTC
2nd time looking for this one thanks to geowife we found it this time around TFTC
847. It was a bit quiet at work today, so decided to take the afternoon off and have a stroll around "the flat". Definitely a tricky little sucker that took some time for me to located. The iPhone wasnt doing me any favours here either but all good in the end. TFTC.
Our last find for the day and the most difficult, it did not help that the GPS had us out at GZ and we spent most of the time searching the wrong spot.
Thanks for the cache Bruce's Run

Found on a stroll around Mulligans Flat to clear up the caches that have populated the area after our last sweep. The most difficult find today as the GPS was pointing us to another spot and half way through the search we were interrupted by some workers in Mulligans Flat, but we kept at it and finally had the cache to hand.
Thanks for the cache Bruce's Run.

A clever hide, had me scratching my head for a while - thanks Bruce's Run - and TFTC
Picked a good day to do our Mulligans expedition with Hccatcher11415, Allrounder and Shadow! Having been to this one previously at night and was unsuccessful. More eyes today and it paid off. Shadow! located the tricky hide. Almost done, just one more to go!

A trip into Mulligans Flat with FurfacesLL, allrounder and Shadow! This was the 14th find of the day for me. 2nd attempt at this one but last time was with FurfacesLL and in the dark. It was hard enough to find in the daylight and using the hint so we had no chance the last time.

Found @ 4:37pm with hccatcher11415, FurFacesLL and Shadow! on a Mulligans Flat expedition
Shadow! found this one after reading the hint (I didn't read the hint) but it still took some finding. Nice camo! We met a fellow cacher at this one - hello wombat@crows! (I think I got the name right!)
Thanks for the challenge Bruce's Run!

First caching expedition in quite some time. My fellow cachers were allrounder, hccatcher11415 and FurFacesLL
A tough one to find even with the hint!

Spent about half an hour looking for this one with no luck. So sadly headed of to find Bruce's slipper. On the way I passed some young girls out stretching their legs. When I got to Bruce's Slipper I found the log had been signed that by a group of geocachers so guessed it might have been the girls.
Decided to check out whether they headed for Bruce's Bush Nano based on the concept that the more eyes the better. Yep they we on the ridge so headed up to join them. As it turned out Shadow's experience with 800+ caches proved to be successful. So thanks Shadow. And yes allrounder you got my name right WombatAtCrows. I will add this cache to my list for our scouts to try out.
Todays Trivia Question: What is the collective noun for a group of geocachers? eg
A cache of geocachers ?
A box of gc's ?
An expectation of gc's ?

This one took me a while to find even with the excellent hint.
Clearly looking in the wrong area.
Spoke with missus GUIO on the phone and the good karma came through and I made the find.
Also went up the hill to look at the repeater station. Interesting.
Cheers for another Bruce Run cache.

One of the nicer parts of caching in the bush is that it can really get you off the beaten track - especially when you make your approach from somewhere other than where the hider of the cache intended! We were treated to some beautiful bushland on our trek to the cache and were thankful once again that this is our hobby. The cache is in good condition but the o-ring is getting perished. TFTC
I'm not sure about the point of this cache. The only one I could think of was as an exercise in container creation. Which I can understand. After the find CT spotted some infrastructure up the hill and we found the central communications tower for all the camera in the area.
Thanks Bruce.
Thanks Bruce.
Found with noikmeister. A short diversion off the main strack soon had this cache in hand. Like the camo. Thanks for the cache Bruce's Run.
5223. [font=Century Gothic][green]Well that had me going for a while. Eventually called in air support and even with that assistance it was a tricky find. Appears I may have been mizzled by mizzreading the clue. Once air support had moved on the find was made.

Hadn't read the hint but had a very good hunt around at GZ and didn't manage to find.
Back to Mulligan's Flat for navigation training after almost a 24 month absence - new caches to find AND a new fence to deal with. Found GZ very easy but despite the great hint and two others searching with me I had no luck finding this one.
Spent a bit of time looking here just after it was published, but left frustrated. Today, had another look with the enhanced clue and found it fairly quickly. Not surprised I missed it. Good to get another one off the list. Thanks.
On the last occasion we visited, we spent 45 minutes here without success. Today we looked before checking the gps, and Mrs Winglen found it inside 30 seconds! Worth a second visit for that, thanks Bruce's Run.
Found with geo son and daughter in law on nice sunny day - nice cache - well camoflaged..
two of the cachers that i work with had been talking about mulligans flat
and how good the caching was there.
so as i was on leave and the dorrigo codgers (parents)were down we decided to go for a walk arround the reserve. just over 11ks walked and a good day had by all

Found @ 1210 - after failing the last time, I approached this one with new determination, new enthusiasm - and a new hint! Gave it the good old college try before decrypting, but in the end had to take the extra nudge, don't think I would have had a chance otherwise. TNLNSL-TFTC.
This one blends in very well. That is all I am going to say. Thanks.

With only a few hours spare this morning to ride around Mulligan's Flat, it was disappointing to start with a DNF and waste a lot of that time in the process. Phoned a friend who had found it, but by then I'm afraid I had lost interest so we moved on.
No luck on a planned caching rampage through Mulligan's Flat. Time, the weather and Lady Luck were all against me. I'll be back for another crack though!
I can confirm that the cache is still there and still as sneakily hidden as it has always been.
If you need an extra hint,s email me.
Cheers Bruce's Run

4045 + 207 = 4252. A quick walk in to have a second go at this one.
Last time I was out this way I had a look for this one but didnt turn up anything. This time with a bit more time available I had a good look - and there it was - very nicely hidden ! Thanks again Bruce's Run!
TNLN - TFTC !!

Well, I lifted & looked, I poked & prodded - but ultimately I logged a lack of luck then left. Gave up @ 1430 after spending way too long rooting around in the rubble. Many more caches waiting to be found - next time I bring a posse.
We found the area had been chook scratched within an inch of its life but had no luck in finding the cache. Tried all sorts of searches and ideas but no joy. Maybe we were just getting tired after a full day caching from one side of the Flat to the toher and back again? Will have to come back another day, but will attempt this first next time and in morning sunlight rather than approaching dusk. TFTH
We strolled across from a nearby cache today and it only took Ju and I a couple of minutes to spot this one. A nice little one that could take a while if you weren't careful. TFTC
Try as we might for about 40 minutes, geo-daughter and I just could find it. Such is life....
Rode the bike in along the tracks, walked the last bit cross country, parked the bike then spent 10 mins searching everywhere but where the bike was, yep, found it RIGHT AT the bike! TFTC.
Nice ride in the bush. Found after about 5 minutes searching! (where I should have looked first!) It's just my GPS decided I should search about 5m away, so that slowed me down a little! Nice little hide, thanks Bruces's run.
Now this took a bit longer than expected, resting the GPS just near the little sucker, while I searched in vain for about 15 minutes. Then the ah ha moment..
Thanks for the cache. Great location to explore.

Got to the entrance of the park and the ranger was just opening the gate so rode my bike right through the gate and down the dirt road, had cached in the area before and knew exactly where to go. At gz I made a quick find and would say this is a micro not a nano TFTC
Checked it out on an evening walk. It's still there. If we get a long series of DNFs maybe we'll update the clue. It wasn't meant to be easy though!
Logged on and happened to check the MF area on the off chance of a new cache. Surprisingly, there were 2 unclaimed ones. I scrawled a quick note of the GZs from the aerial view & ripped off on the MTB. There were 2 options - Bruce's Ingledene or this one first. Decided on & found Bruce's Ingledene 1st (on account of being longer to get to), then worked back to this one. I stopped to help a stranded cyclist before continuing on.
I spotted the feature I was looking for and GZ. Having done Bruce's Bird, I was expecting a really tiny cache. The cache-fu was too strong today, as the find was too quick (about 30 seconds!) including eyeballing GZ For a second the log looked clean, but Sol de Lune had made the FTF by about 30 minutes...

*FTF* at 10.20am.....and totally unexpected.
Had planned on coming out here today, and the 2 new ones published overnight just added to fun for the day.
Arrived at GZ and spent about 10 minutes peering into possible hidey holes when something else caught my eye, and the cache was in hand. Very surprised to see a clean log sheet. What's up northsiders, too cold for you????
From here it was off to next one, with hopes high for a repeat.......
Thanks for the cache Bruce's Run.
