Was worried about the recent DNF but after about 10 minutes of searching finally looked in the right place. TFTC
I tried several ways to get into the gully, but none really worked. How about some parking coords and a trail head way point?
Couldn’t find the cache, but we went for a walk in the gully and found some firewood. TFTC
I’m on a bit of a caching mission…. My 6000th cache is coming up soon and I want it to land on GC12559 Basket of Dreams in Queenstown on the 26th. So I’m doing my best to make that happen! So today I’m grabbing all the park n’ grabs I can while down in Hamilton.
Today, unfortunately it's pouring with rain. I arrive here at GZ with my umbrella. Ditch it so I can go under and after a few trials and errors I found the cache! Believe me.... every park n' grab that isn't a bloody DNF helps, cheers C+D for the cache.

Nice stroll out now that the cloud has lifted, reached the area quite quickly then it was all a matter of getting the correct depth. TFTC
Headiing home after the NZ Geocaching Adventure MEGA in Turangi (yeah, I know, has taken awhile to catch up on the logging, but sometimes I have to actually do some work, while at work).
Great place to stop to stretch the legs. TFTC

Decided as the fog lifted this afternoon, it was time to go out and find some geocaches for the first time in a few weeks. so out for the walk we went. This was a nice walk from Oderings down the gully to go collect this cache and back again.
Parked near here and wandered down to locate this cache, Ryan came up trumps fairly quickly so wandered along to the other cache near here that we had to locate. Thanks for the nice hide
Sneaky little cache, my 4 year old daughter was not impressed with all the webs though! TFTC!
Day 36 of a hopeful 50-day caching streak.
We cruised into Hamilton with the intention of finding the most recent placements for our current license challenge. Unfortunately, time didn't allow us to do much, so we had to be satisfied with a couple of cache hunts... There were so many possibilities with this one. We had to systematically check each one, just to be satisfied that we'd looked there. We eventually found a bizillion spiderwebs and were initially reluctant to put our hands into certain places. After dismissing a couple of sections, we put our hands onto the cache for a reasonably quick find. TFTC.

Gazzminclan, found after 2 visits and still needed a little help from a friend! good search
Tried searching under the bridge...saw lots of spider web but no cache...noted that it the last find is in dec 2014...wonder if spiders have hidden it away?
Had to wait for a family out for a Christmas walk first and then we could have a good hunt around. Pleased to find it after 10 weeks since the last log too. Tftc
Lovely! Did not do our heads in looking for it. Just the right amount of difficulty & hints
Nice sunny winters day, saw the cobwebs wondered if it was one of them. Soon found cache from co-ords.

Took me a while, there were quite a few plasma bandits around, I guess that's why there were so many cobwebs, the spiders were chowing down on them
Had to use a function on my Ph to find it that I haven't had to use before, but found it after 5 mins of searching. TFTC kids enjoyed it
A great find by the junior caches in our group. Great stickabilty and perseverance those who missed recently had best return for another crack at this clever cache
Drats. The only non-find today. Looked all around. Lots of 'healthy debate' about what sticky meant. Will give it another shot sometime. Signal there was up and down with the accuracy around 6m most of the time. Doesn't help much.
After our success with Vic's Nuts we thought we'd give this one a third try while over this side of town. Another quick find today, I can't believe it eluded us for so long. We're on a roll now, or, as we say, " rocking in the plus fours" (a quote from the show Auckland Daze), but still not confident enough to try yet again for Hukanui Oaks!
Walked in here from Sexton Rd through a lovely gully restoration area, thanks to the photo posted I knew this time what I was looking for, never seen so many cobwebs in one place.
We were on a roll today everything just seemed to be in places where we expected to see them.

#410 - First attempt was on 01/01/13, but we couldn't see a thing as we it was getting dark. Came back the next day and LOVED the little paths, which we didn't know even existed. A favourite point from us. TFTC
Hooray! found it! My first one too Sticky properties have been restored; took me 3 visits to find it as i was looking for it in a non-sticky place. SL TFTC.
Had a nice day geocaching my way from Hamiton to Auckland. Found this cache easily - liked the location. SL TFTC
Think I took the long wet muddy route - but all good fun - area would be lovely in the summer TFTC
This one had us searching (and finding interesting items!) for quite a while, then about to give up when had one more look in the obvious spot - ahuh! TFTC!
4:16pm
easy find. 4 more spaces on log before it needs replacing.
nice to see the restoration work that's been done too.

A little detour on the way from kids' sport. Good to see the gully being re-planted. Nice hide! TFTC
I really like all these walkways through the new subdivisions. Easy find. Liked this hide a lot. Thanks very much Cats&Dragons
Found while updating this part of Hamilton area to Open street map Lovely area, and weather today.
Didn't have a pen on me so uploaded photos

Used to travel daily from the Tron to Huntly in the 1970s when all was this was farmland. With it rapidly disappearing under roads and housing it's a small wonder we are losing our reputation as the worlds' foremost dairying nation. Rant over. Thanks for the cache and the assist that went with it.
Whoops forgot to log this when we found it... a week or two ago? Nice spot, what a shame that the path doesn't go very far, after seeing the satellite image we were hoping to be able to go for a walk along the gully. TFTC!
Have been to check on this this morning and still in place, as it should be, noticed in improved access to the cache since the time of placement.
4 of us (2 adults and 2 mini-cachers) spent a good 10 minutes looking, and trying to think of anything other than the obvious that might match the hint, but no luck! Obviously didn't have the proper eyes on today, as this was our second DNF of the day. Will have to come back another time...
Great first cach for me and my family took two separate visits to find it but very fun and the excitement when finding it was just great...Thanks cats&dragons.Good hide.
second time lucky came back to today to have a look and found it straight away very well hidden
Its places like this that makes an Aucklander like me jelous... Maybe Ill move down here
Spotted a young couple leaving GZ as I arrived, a bit unusual as baby was left in a buggy nearby whilst they visited the area, suspected they might be geocachers but no logs to match.

Hmmm.... decided this is not the place to be during an earthquake, would quickly turn into a flood if not all contained!
First cache hunt for a long time and too slow in the company of Dolphin diver to find it before her. signed the log TFTC
Didn't know this pathway was here and it is used by lots of locals, saw a baby pukeko below, very cute. TFTC
Our third hunt and second find - we are on a roll and see these as a bit of a challenge for a Sunday! Found this one - once again it was great to see what sort of vessel it was so we have an idea of what to look for for others. Signed the register - Liv.
Had to give up trying to find this one for today, as there were a couple of lingering muggles around
This took me ages to find! Was looking in the wrong place for a while. Great little hide!
