Unfortunately we couldn’t find this one, we think the local council may have cleaned up and little too well..
Geodaughter and geofriend drive to wagga wagga and country for week and She happy help me for find caches in country ... She love it... thanks
Interesting place. I took some photos before signing the cache dsd or darksidedan. The local council was in the grounds doing a large cleanup so I had to wait till they could not see me before I grabbed the cache.
There was a small group of "us" heading off to meet more of "us" in Tumut for the weekend. Our merry band of misfits was made up of MTrax, Tankengine, Joolay, Aquilus1 and myself. In the car we all thought of a name that we could call our gang, but in the end we decided it was a Canberra Invasion Trip that we were on so just went with CBR5. We signed logs either indiviually or with the group name.
It was an awesome weekend all up, with lots of fun with friends. We cached all day then met up with the rest of the Invasion Team for dinner Saturday night, then cached some more on Sunday until it was time to head home.
**The Cache** I love cemeteries. We parked in the alotted car park then came through all the way down to GZ to find the cache all safe and sound. Tftc TEAM DENMAR!!!

Found with dty73, Aquilus1, Joolay and Mtrax on our Canberra invasion of Tumut and surrounds! (Log signed as CBR5). Of course, we also had a lot of other Canberra cachers in town this weekend, and we all had a dinner on Saturday night at the pub! It was a great weekend, and I think a lot of us "cleaned out Tumut" Loved this whole area - so a favourite from me! Thanks for the cache TD.

Love an old cemetery, this one a mixture of all sorts. We searched for the oldest... born 1800, died 1902. That's impressive! Thanks for the cache.

On the road to Tumut now......all these caches were found quickly and in good condition.
What an amazing cemetery to wander around. The oldest grave we found was from 1864! So amazing. Thanks for bringing us here TEAM DENMAR.

Wow what a beautifully maintained cemetery. Thanks for drawing it to our attention. Cache was found quickly and was our final one for the day. Thanks Team Denmar. SL
Visited this great place. Love visiting cemeteries and searching for lost family, they are from around this area many years ago. Some of them are buried here.
While here I said hello to them, they were all doing well. They gave me some hints on which way to head for the cache. After we had our regular catchup I headed down to the spot where it was with their guidance.
I found the cache and all was well with it. In good condition, I signed the log, took nothing, replaced it as was, then back to the geomobile and chauffeur.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR for this great little hide, and bring me to visit past family. Lil Donna

Ok ... time for a road trip - Mum and Dad came down from Qld, in their campervan, for a visit, then Mum flew home (ready to go overseas with a friend) and Dad and I headed off in the campervan, on a trip from Canberra (where I live) to Adelaide (where I was born) for his sister's 80th ... we spent a week driving there the long way, and taking our time visiting some interesting places and checking out a few places we used to visit/live/etc ... and stopping for me to find the odd cache or 5 ... or more ... lol
We then spent a week around Norlunga, Moana, Sellicks Beach, Mt Compas, etc catching up/visiting/doing things with relatives, and driving around looking at places we used to live/do stuff/etc, and a few beaches and other interesting things ... and me finding caches here and there as we went
TFTC - Came for a walk from where we parked for the night at the Showgrounds ... couldn't find a cache in the middle of town, then came for this one the hard way - over a muddy creek and across a paddock (and stepped in a cow pat in the almost dark!) and had to wash my wet/muddy/stinky shoes! walked back in the dark, the way I should have gone - along the road almost straight back to the Showgrounds - lol
I quite enjoyed my silly adventure

Heading home from Tumut,so grabbing a few caches with the geo kids along the way. Enjoyed a wander through the cemetry to make this quick find. But had to run back to car as a heavy storm cloud opened up, atleast it cooled things down for a while.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

A nice quick cache here, sad to see some of the headstones have been cracked in half At least their still there though and someone hasn't moved them away from their grave!

Found on a day trip with my mum. Visited a few relatives while we were here. Pen decided not to work but did leave an impression. Took photos but won't publish the spoilers. TFTC
Intersting to stroll through the cemetery and look at the old headstones. A good quick find to add to the tally. TFTC TEAM DENMAR.

A great spot up here, and lots of headstones to look at including some early ones. Most impressive was William Williams aged 102!
Cache found OK.
Thanks

Today was the first full day of our caching adventure with Rapidlywild in Tumut. I have never really been to Tumut before and was quite surprised by the size and the beauty of the place. Lovely water ways that were crystal clear. Just a lovely place to drive around and explore.
Headed out along another road then collected all the caches on the way back.
After leaving Gold town it was back on the road. Another quick find and on our way again.

After arriving into Tumut last night, we got up this morning with intentions to get as many finds as possible. We seen some wonderful scenery today, and loved the running waters around Tumut.
Nice wander down towards the cache, then we had a nice chat with the local moo cows before heading back to the car.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR for the placement of this cache[^]

Out in Adelong this weekend to show the hound dogs. After doing the show business, I left the missus to wait out the rest of the groups while I went caching. A fantastic cemetery. Million dollar view for the dead. Loved it.

Day eight of our High Country holiday. Another sunny day at Tumut with Bettyboo3747
Got out the deadly treadlies for a relative early morning ride along the river and wetlands.
We then travelled to Adelong for some caches and a walk around the mining area.
Lots of headstones to read on the walk across the graveyard (and back again!)
Some interesting stories, and impressive headstones.
Thanks for another historical cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9975. I got up early today and headed out on the bike to the river path and then into the wetlands. What a great start to the day. Then we got ready and drove to Adelong, collecting a few caches on the way before visiting the old Gold Mining area.
After spending a lot of time at the old Gold Mine area and a cool drink in town we came out here. Another wonderful old cemetery to wander through. We discovered some more interesting headstones here today. A very scenic cemetery too. Left one of my Phryne - Rose pathtags today.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR

Found with my parents Boeing737 and WhiteChocolateMocha. Mum took off ahead of us and encountered the brown snake. I was jealous as I like snakes but Mum was happy it was her and not me!
I thought my wife was going to run all the way back to the car when the brown snake chased her! Not sure where the snake disappeared to but we approached GZ slowly with our eyes firmly on the ground. None others encountered or seen. We still love old cemetery caches, we'll just be more careful in future TFTC Team Denmar
OMG, saw my first Australian snake while geocaching! A brown which I nearly trod on as I walked briskly towards GZ. I stopped and yelled a warning to my geofamily. The brown went into his den then came up for a smell and came straight for me! So I ran! Waited for my husband and son. We went together to the cache, a quick find. Nothing like an aggressive snake to get the ticker going!!!
"WARNING" this cache has a aggressive brown snake.nearby.they are coming out of hibernation
and are "grumpy" so please take extra care

How tough it must have been to live here in older times. Our pioneers were amazing. TFTC
Find 132 + 2 DNF's on an overnight trip to Wagga Wagga. Found on our way back home via Tumut. A quick find, thanks Team Denmar.
A bit chilly this morning, but as the sun was out, we decided on a drive to Adelong,
Tumut and Gundagai to pick up a few caches.
With lots of lovely scenery and a variety of cache hides, we had a good day out.
Most of the caches were found quickly, with only a few hides a little tricky.
Many thanks for placing this cache, TEAM DENMAR, for us and others to find.

One of my ancestors was born here (not at the cemetery !) There were 2 muggles nearby so we had to be discrete. SL TFTC
This cache's name just yelled "CEMETERY" at me
As I was looking for the road to get to GZ, I saw a blue sign pointing the way
I do love cemetery caches [:X]
There's always something interesting to look at, and more often than not ... a working tap
Handy for filling up the water bottles
I wandered through the stones.
There are some old ones !! [:o]
And out the back I soon tracked down this well hidden cache in a shady place

Peaceful cemetery, always enjoy looking at the headstones when geocaching in a cemetery
Found by Mary & David at 1225. Again a favourite point from Mary for a cemetery cache. So much symbolism on the headstones here - the dove of peace, the clasped hands, the broken column, shamrocks, ivy, lilies for purity, the rose, thistle, and laurel wreath. Sad to see the two little Witts boys, aged 3, who died from accidental burns, and an older brother aged 11 who was accidentally killed by a fall from his pony. One elaborate tall sandstone memorial was for William Williams, who died in 1902 aged 102, an extraordinary lifespan for those days. Found after a brief search. Our thanks to TEAM DENMAR.
Tftc! I have relatives buried in this cemetery so was lovely to see a cache has been placed here!
What a great day of exploring and we so enjoy visiting areas we have not been to before. Nice cache and beautiful countryside. Thanks to TEAM DENMAR for placing this cache.
I parked in the shade by the gate; then walked to GZ and made a quick find. Happy New Year and TFTC TEAM DENMAR.
Found on our Tumut trip. Back from the falls now, so it was time to get some others within Adelong itself. A short drive along the short roads, where we managed to find some houses decorated in South Sydney colours for the grand final. Once we got to the gate, we opened it and continued to drive down the cemetery to GZ, for a quick find. A stunning view of Adelong from here. TNLNSL. TFTC TEAM DENMAR!
This one made an interesting walk in noting dates on graves, that later that day tied in with the gold rush info we viewed at the Adelong Reefs Reserve. TFTC.
Found at 5:01 PM GAFF1.
With the sun setting low in the sky there was a beautiful scene from up here across to the town. Very peaceful indeed.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR.

[:(!] Went for a weekend caching run, left Wagga about 5.30am and did a circuit through Adelong, Tumut and Gundagai arriving back at Wagga about 6.30pm the following day and breaking the journey by spending the night in Tumut, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.
