Unfortunately the new tree is too close to GC2A5NF Lighting (Auckland). As such this does not meet the criteria for a new cache or unarchiving.
Was pleased to find this in new position last Friday ....felt it was a bit exposed though . Shame to see it was now found to be too close to "Lighting " ! Hope you can reinstate your snake soon , Snakelion !

As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
A lot of muggles close by and spend a far time looking for this cache by couldn't find. Past logs had problems as well and it seems the coordinated are off. Will look again if fixed.
Spent a while looking in every nook and cranny but had no luck finding the cache.
Had a good look but couldn't find. Was at GZ according to the GPS but may need to get my glasses updated. Kids had fun! Tftc!
Had a really good look around and around but no luck have to bring the kids next time.
The Future Finder and I were walking past so made a slight detour to find this cache. It'd be rude not to! Well, actually we initially did walk past because we were not sure what side of the water the cache was on. Worked it out on our way back and made a quick find of the cache. Gee, what a large bag for such a tiny log-sheet! Bag is in need of replacing btw. Cheers for the cache placement!
Parked the campervan down the road at Parrs Park. Took the bikes and the doggies for a nice bike ride
But this was a DNF for us. Maybe on the wrong side of the water??

Last for the day before my weekly visit to family. Indeed a daytime only cache!
Thx for the hide - tftc

Cheers for visiting my cache Cats&Dogs. No need for the proof, I will take your word
Over this way for a customer, so after last time the gz being surrounded by a work gang and not wishing to venture any closer, today was the day
A quick find however committed the cardinal sin and left the scribe in the car so have photo of the log if the CO requires proof.
TFTC and the chance to finally mark this one off

Was in Auckland for work and decided that I would come up to Auckland early and spend a couple of days in the area and pick up a few caches around the West Auckland and check out the area as I havent really being in this area for such a long time and it was a great little spot to go to and do some caches.
After finding another cache in the area it was time to move on to the next cache along this trail working out where the next cache was it was another short walk to this cache, arriving near GZ it was a short and easy walk to this cache and as I got near GZ I decided to check around GZ to ensure it was muggle free and then after a short search I was able to find the cache quickly without any issues, another great little spot for a cache, thanks for placing it here and for bringing me to this very interesting area that I havent being to before, now it time to go after the next one on my list, TFTC TNLNSL (4651)

I was out doing the Blues Clues series when this one popped up on my GPS. Well I'm in place so why not do it. Like most other people starting searching in the wrong place. Finally got to the right snakepit when it hissed at me.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
8.10am. Bit wet and muddy and it took me a while searching various places until I decided to follow the GPS and there it was!
Thank you. David.

Well made that find a whole lot harder than it should've been, started looking too soon and spent too much time in the wrong area. Cache almost jumped out and bit me, having got impatient with me! TFTC

Took me a while but I found it easily once I was on the correct side of the water. TFTC
Was getting started on the Blues Clues caches today after church, and decided to make an entry in the park in a place that I could get this cache first.
Saw that the distance by the GPS would put me JUST on the other side of the water... so I tried to find an easier access... which I did! Yay! And I biked on over to it along the grass.
- But the GPS was still off! And it wouldn't make up its mind! So, I had like a 40m2 area to search... but in the end it did narrow down, and there it was too!! Cache, looking right back at me! Hehe.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Was out completing the Blue's Clues series and noticed a couple of additional caches at the end of the series, so continued on to find them.
Took the direct route to the cache, which turned out to be a bad idea, but we did manage to spot the cache 10m away from the other side of the creek! So took the sensible route around and quickly picked up the cache.
Had 2kiwis.com with us, who we introduced to geocaching. At the time they didn't have a username, but were with us when we signed the log, and created a profile when we returned home this evening.

9297… Nice spot… luckily we read the logs of previous finders so we didn’t need to get WET accessing GZ. Fortunately no snakes were harmed locating the cache, many thanks, we enjoyed our visit.
Found over two months ago when we travelled up to Auckland for a long weekend. It's taken us a while to log as we've been busy moving house.
Found with Phasevisitor who brought us along while they completed the Blue's Clues series and a few extra caches too. We decided to sign-up in the evening, so we didn't have a profile at the time.

Workmen just below in the stream clearing the sides of the waterways and cutting back vegetation around the new plantings so will have to come back at a less productive time
Spotted this one on arrival, another good hide with no muggles to interrupt our find TFTC.
Having just found the cache further down the path I decided to attempt this one as I was on the correct side of the stream. Quickly made my way to GZ for a quick find. TFTC
Was on the wrong side of the creek (I think)
The council was having a sort of CITO (but without the cachers)
Will be back some other time.

Had a good look but couldn't find. Heaps of broken glass on the ground in the bush so not great for kids to be looking around for the cache.
I believe this is cache 1400 for me
A great little spot. The stream that flows under the bridge nearby runs through my parents property on the other side of Henderson Valley Road.

Spotted from the wrong side but a short walk in long wet grass fixed everything. Lively spot for my first akl cache in about 4 years. Might attempt another tftc
After a wee bit of fossicking eventually found this cache. Being new to GC we are still quite reliant on the old GPS, if we had have stopped looking at the GPS and instead actually looked around a bit more we would have found it a lot sooner! TFTC.
After a hunt around on the wrong side of the stream, we ventured off to where we should have gone in the first place. GPS took us smack bang into the cache. Fun find. Thanks
Decided to take a a detour on the way back home after a swimming drop off, I nearly ended up having to take a swim my self to get this one. But I decided that it would be easier to use the walkway instead. Once I was located in the correct area I soon spotted the snake. Thanks for this one!
This cache took much longer than it should have mainly as I took the desciption a little too literally. I searched both sides of the creek thrice and was about to give up when I turned around and saw in plain sight. Much annoyed at myself I sloped back to the car.

Wrong side of the stream.... as usual. Quick find once I was in the right place. Thanks.
Wanted to do something for my good friend Avi today so after doing a bit of cycling earlier in the afternoon decided it was worth hunting a snake and a lion as a minor shout out to my mate.
Turned up with Mel_Ramsay to find the local neighbourhood population doing some jumps at the end of the street on their bikes. Ignored them and followed the arrow into the reserve. Was initially a bit confused with where the GPS was pointing given the terrain rating but Mel soon saw something sticking out across the creek that confirmed we were in the right spot. Quick re-entry into the right spot and we soon had the cache. Now to find a lion. TFTC mate.

Decided as a tribute to Avi - it would be appropriate to find his caches, so after packing up the bikes, we decided to swing past these on our way home. Arrived at this one, and once we figured out what side of the creek we were suppose to be on, made the quick find. A few muggles around, but they were more interested in their bikes and beers!
TFTC Avi, and heres to you!

Went on a snake hunt after having bagged a lion. Arrived at GZ and soon spotted the reptile. As expected FMZ had been there an hour before us. TFTC.

Just happened to check my email and saw 2 new caches had popped up just a few minutes ago... Yep, it would be rude not to, so took a quick break and raced out the door. At first I was a bit confused here but quickly figured out where to go. A bit moist and slippy underfoot but no worries - had the cache soon in hand for FTF #793 TFTC!!!
