It’s been a year since this cache has been found. No action since December. Time to go.
Ok - I've confirmed this is NOT there. I'm going to need to rethink this one, given the current state of the cache location.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there CamBendy,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what they need to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

i am the 11th group unable to find it. Maybe it should be checked up if it is still there
With bustedbridge. Good spot for placing a cache, if only I could the actual location...
In the city in between appointments, Geoboy and I came here to see if we could locate this now elusive little bugger. After a good look around, up and down using our inner monkey we still came up with nothing but a blue face on our treasure finding map.
Didn't find. Had 3 of us searching for a good 30mins. Def in the right alleyway. Look for the aircon units. Might n3ed replacing.
I had a look for this one but I couldn't find it today. I believe I found the right alleyway, judging by the scorpion on the wall matching a photo from a previous finder, but after 20 minutes of looking, I decided to move on.
I hope it's still there. My thanks to CamBendy for placing it.

Searched long and hard, freaked out a pigeon and tried not to disturb what has clearly become someone’s home but no luck today.
Based on all the previous pictures in 99% sure we found the right alley. Looked for about half an hour and couldn't find it. Also looks like a homeless person has been sleeping there...
After a quick look around being a smokers paradise and someone’s home. We had a quick scout around with the hint in mind and a check of previous logs. But with no success.
After the AC/DC Lane cache, the should be next in line. Reading tge write up, I knew it it not going to be a walk in the park type of cache. It will be tricky. With the amount of time in hand (7 minutes to be exact), I knew I could not waste anymore time making my way to the Event venue at QV Centre in Lonsdale Street. Will be back later.
After the Event, a quintet of us us, namely Cliff5009, Cherryslices88, DavidNessie and I went to hunt some caches.
After finding the AC/DC Lane, Cache, we proceeded to this GZ. Looking at the map, started our search. Up and up we go searching along the way, until we could go up no more. And there is no cache. Ww widen our search area but still nothing.
After about 30 minutes of search, we had to abandon our attempt. I had strong suspicion where the cache could be hidden and access to this spot is a bit dicey.
After attempting the Improbable fossil 2.0 cache, we were supposed to make our way to Flinders street to catch a train. Along the way, I walked very quickly to try to attempt this cache again. I tried a different tack from a different route. David and Cliff quickly caught up with me when the smelled the cache. After a short search, the cache was located and the log signed. It was very satisfying to find it.

Found, with a group effort, after attending the Meet a Malaysian, a nice find in a not so nice part of our city, Thanks CamBendy the cache is in good condition
Well, this a bit elusive. Our first attempt proved fruitless, but with Bernard’s keen geosenses, we approach from a different viewpoint. This team effort of Maria, Cliff, Bernard and myself soon located the prize as described. Cache is in good condition and SL TNLN. Thanks CamBendy for an excellent hunt and chase.
Extremely elusive. Found it in the end. Could not have managed it without my friend Bern's help. It was a group effort with Cliff and Dave also. TFTC. Geocaching is best done with friends.
The building picture definitely helped and so did the scorpion. Thanks heaps for this one, was a bit more challenging
Found with teal.samson12. Well we were completely lost to begin with as gps had us in a car park. After finally working out we were in the wrong place we found the scorpion and then the cache. TFTC.
Gotcha! That felt good to finally find it after persisting for 30 mins. We checked on the wrong “level”.
We read thru all the previous logs and looked at the photos which in the end helped along with the clue.
Should have searched in the obvious spot at the GZ instead of being so adventurous and got dirty for no reason.
Thank you for the cache and adventure CamBendy

After finding out we were looking in the completely wrong area, found the scorpion (thanks to that comment!) and clumsy me fell over retrieving the case and smashing my phone. Oh well! Enjoyed the great little hunt! TFTC!
This took some sleuthing! Think I get the clue but no help until after. Art work and pics at least confirmed the location as a wandering GPS made it impossible. TFTC and history
Found but quickly told to move on by an angry smuggle who told us it was private property.
Based on everyone's comments and photos we were definitely in the right spot but couldn't find it even though everyone said it was easy once you're there. I suspect it needs maintenance
Found this a while ago; but logging it now.
I was in Melbourne for an event during the week, so sought out a few caches around the town. Read the cryptic hint, which helped. All good. Thanks for the history too.

Well that took longer than I expected! As usual I ended up in the wrong place, in a carpark looking down on where I should be. Around and around until I figured out how to reach GZ. And being lunch time there were heaps of smoker muggles around. Finally found the cache and very happy now. TFTC and greetings from Wellington Wellington New Zealand.
Can’t say this cache offers a stunning view . Easy find though in a natural place once approaching from the right direction on the right level. Log signed!
Melbourne is hard with the bouncing gps! Used spoiler photos and am sure I found GZ but couldn’t find the cache and a muggle was getting suspicious. I must have looked weird creeping around in business clothes.
Thanks CamBendy for the cache, and greetings from Tassie. A short weekend trip to visit family, and to attend the 6 day cycling last night at Melbourne Arena.
GHAP_Cache_Hunters (geoSon & family) are taking me to the airport for my return flight, we needed to stop mid city, so went in search of this one.
Unprepared, I led the troops on a wild goose chase for a while, but eventually geoSon got us to the right spot, and he was rewarded with the find, after a short search, thanks to the hint.
Yep, bit of rubbish about, but no dead pigeons!

Was harder to find due to the multiple levels.. but at the rooftop i was rewarded with an amazing pre-storm sky
Find #2043 for me. Found at 7:55 am am after getting the early train down from Bendigo to find some city caches before a conference I had to attend later in the morning. This was my second find for the day. I'd failed here last November when a car reversed into the laneway and stopped right at GZ while I was searching so I had to scoot. When I arrived this morning, a car was already parked there. It might have even been the same car. Who knows? But this time the car was empty, allowing me to search in peace. Thankfully I found the cache after a few minutes before the owner of the car or anybody else turned up and soon had the log-sheet signed, cache replaced and was on my way to the next one. Thanks for the cache CamBendy!
Unfortunately we couldn’t find it with 3 people. Maybe we were focused on the wrong...
I saved myself some time by planning my route to GZ.
Great spot for a cache. TFTC CamBendy

Found this one well hidden in a rather muggle free environment. 1 TB out, signed, replaced as found.
After we realized we were in the wrong spot we walked to the GZ and soon enough we had the cache in our hands. Thanks for placing!
Melbourne Day 1: CBD and South Yarra - Prahran.
Flew in to Melbourne from Auckland for one last hurrah on this caching holiday, and got in nice and early this morning. Took a walk around the city while waiting for check in at the hotel and got a few caches along the way. Once I could check in, I took a short break and headed out again in the evening to get a few more. All good and nice in the city today, and picked up a nice number of caches too. Thanks for all the caches!
The following is the specific log for each cache:
Fairly tricky cache to find this one because of the various “levels” at GZ. Looked at some photos and figured out what my mistake was. Got to the right spot and quickly found the cache there. TFTC!

Another city of Australia to explore. We took the commuter train into the city and started a first round of some major spots, before we started a free guided walk through Melbourne. Thanks to the cos for placing and maintaining the caches. Found and logged together with Swerik, Mikaching and GPS-Wickie.
Melbourne, here we are!
First day caching down town. We took the train to avoid expensive parking in the city. From Flinders Street Station it is very convenient to explore the city.
Thanks to CamBendy for placing the cache.

TFTC. We had just disembarked from a cruise to Tasmania. Now with hours to kill before getting on the trai back home to Maryborough, we did what all cachers do. Find a cache or tw and wander the city street in search of that sometimes elusive prizes. We had just completed the Streets of Melbourne virtual that bough us up this end of town. We eventually found our way into GZ and the search was short and sweet.
Was good find thanks. Little rubbishy but not too bad to slow us down.
6th find for the 1st Vic Sea Scouts

Easy find if you disregard the GPS and follow the map. I was stopped by two people who said I was in a restricted zone and they saw me on the cameras. Not sure cause they couldn’t point out the cameras. Explained the game and they were fine.
Another city cache with TMmsS. Tricky to get a "real" read on what the GPS was telling us. TFTC

TFTC. Found this well placed cache with my caching buddy, deathbypizza. Interesting area.
In November 2018, we went to the great Mega Event in Melbourne and found so many caches that we kinda forgot to log many of them. (It was probably the jetlag though!) Thank you so much for hiding the cache and greetings from Europe ??
In November 2018 my husband and I traveled to Australia to attend the Parkville Mega Event in Melbourne. It was my first time in Australia, and his first time in Melbourne, and we spend an amazing 10 days that ended way too soon.
On our first day in Melbourne city center we walked around and took everything in. ..and of course steered our path towards the nearest caches around. This cache seemed like a quick grab, but as we approached GZ, we realized that the alley way that we were looking for was not going through the block, instead there was a coffee shop blocking our way.
So we adventured through a parking garage, a shopping mall (?), and an office building until we found the correct spot and realized why the alley way was not going through the block - it was multiple meters below the next street level!
The cache was a quick grab and a parked car shielded me from a nearby smoking muggle who was more interested in his phone anyway.
Thanks for the hunt.

Who would have thought we'd be seeing this perspective of Melbourne CBD... ? And man, was the GPS struggling here! It liked everywhere till we got there. The phone was better but in the end we really found GZ ourselves. This cache is the sort of awesome weirdness we love about geocaching. TFTC CamBendy.
We wander along the street and came to a cafe right next to a parking garage. Their were people everywhere. The footpath was packed with customers waiting for their coffee. The GPSr seemed to want us in the cafe itself so we had a look through some old logs and saw some photos which gave us a clue as to where GZ might be. Eventually we ended up in the right spot and it was a quick find from there.
Thanks for the cache CamBendy. This was find #3765. Please discover my trackable: MMGJ6B

Over from Perth on a business trip and added on a couple of leisure days afterwards to enjoy Melbourne a bit more After discovering there was a Mega on this weekend my afternoon plan for a few local caches changed completely and after ticking a couple off I then called an Uber and headed off to the event This was one I grabbed beforehand. Things didn’t start well here as I initially had trouble finding the right route in to GZ, I got tantalisingly close through the car park and then looked down... So at least I knew where I had to get so after a wander round I found myself in a little laneway with heaps of rubbish. Sounds like the right spot Wrong. After poking around for quite some time I had given up. I walked out the laneway a different way that I came in...turned a corner and stopped dead. In front of me was something I had seen mentioned in a previous log. Realising I had been searching in the wrong place completely spurred me back on Unfortunately a few muggles were between me and GZ in a staff entrance / loading bay. I faked a phone call to give me time to think as I wasn’t sure how I was going to get past them and into the alley proper without them seeing me - and let’s face it I’d have zero reason to be going down there from their perspective! And then the caching gods looked down and took pity - one of the muggles went to drive her car out the loading bay but she had accidentally left a box of wine glasses on the roof...which promptly crashed to the floor just inside the door smashing glass everywhere. Sad for her but a perfect distraction for me as they all started fussing around clearing up the mess. But I had to be quick so strode up to GZ shone a light in all the nooks and crannies and very quickly spotted the sneaky container Boom, there’s my smiley Very satisfying to make the find here, particularly as I had resigned myself to a DNF earlier on TFTC
I dropped by here just after 8am after catching the early train to Melbourne from Bendigo to attend a team training day which started later in the morning. Well, the alley was empty when I arrived and I poked around GZ for a couple of minutes without success. Then I looked up and saw a car reversing into the alley from the other end. The car kept getting closer and closer and closer until it stopped just short of where I was standing at GZ. I assume it wasn't a cacher as the driver made no attempt to get out and say "hello" and was probably calling the police as my presence there was admittedly rather suspicious(!). Ugh! Time to leave so I literally squeezed past the car which now blocked my exit and moved on to the next cache on my short list. Thanks for the hunt so far CamBendy! I will be back (maybe in another year but hopefully sooner!)
Found the empty cache box in what looked like a good spot for the hide. I had a spare log with me so put that in as replacement log. Dropped Ca Bolani Cork TB . Greetings from Edinburgh. Tftc
Found it on the ground empty amongst the trash. No log or anything in site. Needs help.
Not sure where it should be but placed it back roughly where I guess it’s supposed to be.
