Choose the above ~> down option. Not to forcibly a find even with a seriously bouncy needle. My non-cacher found it and carefully pulled it out of the hidey hole, only to find a red back spider on it. Turned out to be dead. See photo. Anyway, interesting caching experience! Thanks!
After a number of days when we didn't cache, we decided to head into the nearby Belair National Park to survey the area and, if possible, look for some caches. We parked bear the nativr plant nursery - very popular visiting spot this afternoon. It was a short but, at times, steep walk to GZ. Accurate coordinates and a spoiler photo, led to a quick find. As suggested by the previous finder, the logbook was replaced. Thanks treasurehunter190299 for the cache.
Out walking with muggle friends. Oh a cache nearby. I said I wont be long & up the hill I went. Mmm where is the cache. Read previous logs & realised I needed to widen the search. Wasnt going to climb this hill for nothing!!!! Fortunately found quite quickly as I scoured around looking for signs. Log does need replacing tho. Tftc
I took the up option this evening, since I parked at the nursery.I spent waaaay too long at the 'false' GZ. After reading past logs and realising it was 11m away, the cache was soon found.Cache is in good condition. The log needs replacing however. Nice evening walk, plenty of wildlife about today.TFTC
Logging well after the find and guessing the date also. We went up then down, we supposed it was either down then up or vice versa haha. Almost missed the cache but figured we had done the up bit which was the hard bit so we persevered a bit longer.e have already in the past produced recordsThese records were successfulAnd produced considerable resultsBut the funds have been spentAnd very well spentAnd for this reason we'reNow producingA new, unique recordCalled Up and DownUp and downUp and downAnd up and downUp and downUp and downUp, and downUp and downUp and downAnd up and downUp and downUp and downUp and downUp and downAnd up and downAnd up and downAnd up and downAnd up and downAnd up and downUp and downUp and downThanks treasurehunter190299 for the cache, TNLNSL
Bei einer Runde mit Orleon16 nach kurzer Suche doch noch gefunden. Danke für den Cache
What a fantastic day with Azzo! We found many caches and AL’s in Belair National Park. Mostly all found by Azzo. Thank you for the cache.
Sunday walk in Belair with the geo-pup.
The walk was most definitely up then saw the hint for the next step. All good here, TFTC

We were walking past this cache on our way back to the car. It would have been rude not to stop and find it We trod carefully in the long grass but all good.

The Millicent Mega trip had been a long time in the making, for the Tassie trio of stainless steel rat, budgietas and gooseandegg, due to a couple of false starts thanks to COVID19. More and more caches were added to the extensive list as planning was being finalized. We focused on old caches, large caches, certain D/Ts, virtual caches, the On your Bike series and a few other special ones on our journey. Our route saw us caching in Adelaide for a few days before heading north via Gawler to the Barossa in preparation for the On your Bike series, whilst basing ourselves at a gorgeous cottage in Waikerie. We continued on to Renmark for a night before the long trek south to Millicent.
Some of the many highlights along the way were Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin’s Cache, Barossa High and Riverland (the oldest surviving geocache in South Australia).
At the Mega we caught up with a few of our caching friends, made some new ones, and of course missed many who could not make it this time. The weather was not the best in Millicent, and a COVID19 situation in Mt Gambier altered our plans but we had plenty of caches to keep us busy between showers, including tree climbs, plenty of adventure labs, and the entertaining Finding a Fish series - giving the new pole a good workout for the first time.
Thanks to all the CO’s who have placed and maintained all these caches that made our adventure so memorable.
Thanks treasurehunter190299

Early in 2021 I received an invite from GoosenEgg and Stainless Steel Rat to join them on a caching trip to the Mega in South Australia. As planning got underway some caches with high Favorite points, very old caches, and the On Your Bike Series were listed as "must-dos"
The trip ended up being 10 days of solid and very enjoyable caching with quite a few highlights. The find count for the trip was around the 950 mark when all GCA, Adventure Lab, and GC caches are included. The high point for finds was a day of 335 finds in the one day, which would have been more, but a sudden storm put the end to caching for the day. No one was interested in getting out of the car to find a cache in a downpour in the dark
We were lucky enough to find Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin's Cache, and my favorite for the trip Barossa High (From 21st of January 2001 with the original log book still in place) all in the one day.
Unfortunately, the caching around the mega was beset by bad weather and the day we had put aside for Mount Gambier was scrapped due to a covid case in Mount Gambier on the previous day, so we avoided the area. We all enjoyed the Fishing series and just managed to get the remaining of these before the light failed for the day.
In the end I managed to completed my D/T grid for the first (and possibly the second time) which was my aim for the year, although some of the D/T combinations were not really achievable in Tasmania without a 3 day overnight bush walk.

Up from tassie for the Mega and grabbed this one as we were in the area.
Even with the numbers being down it was great to attend a Mega and at least get to meet some fellow cachers after so long and catch up with a few people, we flew over from Tassie on Thursday and after spending a few days in Adelaide we headed Northeast to clean up some series and then head South to Millicent for the start of the Mega long weekend.
This trip has changed so many times since it was first booked and I'm glad we got to do it at long last, to start with it was just myself and GooseandEgg nipping over for the Mega and then it was a few more days with the addition of 1 toolman, then with lockdown it was back to two of us but then another Tassie cacher in the shape of BudgieTas stepped up to the plate and we were back on for an over a week trip to grab a few caches before the Mega and then finish off with Millicent before flying home on the Tuesday.
Thanks for the cache.

Found on the way down! This cache could do with a new log book as the old log sheets are damp and smell rather musty. TFTC
Found! That was a bit of a climb! Could do with a plastic bag for water protection. Thank you.

Looked on the wrong side for a bit before we widened the search. Just happy to get the find after that ascent. Cheers Cobber.
Took a while but found it. Very rusty. Would put things to swap in a plastic bag. Left behind a few goodies and took out some rubbish from the box
Bit of a workout to get this one but definitely getting a head start on my NY resolution! Log signed and replaced. TFTC
We should have taken a look at the closeness of the contour lines before going up this hill!! Still, whatever doesn't kill you...... Thanks treasurehunter190299
This afternoon jafaz62 and I decided to spend it in the Belair National Park and take her doggo, Chewie, for a walk...it was lovely...
We heard lots of birds as we wandered...
A leisurely stroll uphill to GZ...we spotted a koala feeding on a young eucalyptus tree...nature walks are the best...
There were parrots, rosellas and magpies...further on we saw a kookaburra...
There was all sorts of weird fungi growing on the trees...
The cache was located after an extensive search...it was challenging due to the invasion of soursobs...past logs helped to locate it...the cache needs some TLC as I had to tip water out...

Miss 10 ventured up from the playground while those of us with older knees declined. She said it was steep and earned herself an ice-cream on return. Tftc
This is one of those caches where it's best to put down the GPS and use your geo-sense! Found after a short search. TFTC!
Looked in obvious and not so obvious spots and despite previous helpful logs still had no luck.
This evening, I teamed up with [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) to find a few more geocaches in Belair National Park. We each had been here a few times before finding caches, but hadn't explored some of the more further away locations from the front gate, so those were targeted, in particular a few harder Zytheran puzzles that were more adventures than anything. A few sections were targeted, and once the light began to fade, we disappeared before the front gate was locked, and made our way into the city to attempt a FTF. It turned out that we were not first, but the field puzzle was still underway, that we were allowed to join for a five way tie. A fun Valentine's Day evening out and about.
Jesswrigley and I were here six months ago in August 2019 trying to find this one, but unfortunately despite the many places searched, no cache was found. It did look a little easier today as there was less growth around. It was handy having [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) visit with me who had previously found it, and said it was easy as I walked towards GZ. Once I was close enough, I spotted the telltale location of a geocache hide. It turned out to be all good, and nice to have converted this one to a smile. Thanks treasurehunter190299 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

This morning I headed to Belair national park to get an FTF unfortunately I had a DNF so decided to still did a few near by.
This was a nice and easy find once I was up the hill.

found, down hill from the most obvious hiding spot, coordinates out and in poor condition as per other reports.
After a nice morning completing a geocache puzzle down in Waterfall Gully, jesswrigley and I then headed to Belair National Park to a do a few hikes and collect some caches. We even called into old Government House and the State Flora nursery.
We looked for a good 20 min, on this one, but unfortunately had to come away with a DNF. The inaccurate coordinates didn't help, and the soursobs around the place also didn't do us any favours. Checked all the usual logs ends, and then checked the clumps of sticks and branches around the place, but just too many places this one could be. Shame; we'll be back.

The area is so overgrown with weeds it's difficult to tread safely off the path
Will come back in summer

Coordinates off, found it either way. Container is damaged and rusted, papers are wet. Needs maintenance. TFTC Jones Family
It took me a while of searching before I found this cache. Very well concealed. When I found it the lid was off, but fortunately nothing had been taken. After signing the logbook I put the lid back on and put some things over the cache to hide it better. TFTC.
Tnlnsl thanks for the cache. Coordinates were a little off, but eventually found it
Other than the fun brekky at Caffe Paparazzi in Malvern this morning with geo-friends [^], this was my 1st find for the day . I wanted the 'Go for a ride' (GC7GXV3) cache further down but Muggles made looking for it impossible with GZ being Muggle-Central [v] so this one was the next choice.
Got GZ and looked in what I thought would be a 3 Star D spot..... no cache so I tried something else and the cache was quickly in hand [^] Nice tricky hide SL at 10:49 on Sat 24 Feb 2018. The cache and contents are good and dry [^] TFTC treasurehunter190299

earlier today i almost got bitten by a snake ( he wasn't happy i was sharing the creek with him ) and while moving some bark besides a log at gz, i got attacked by a stumpy lizard. Lucky for me he missed my finger and bite the bark. Decided at that point maybe caching in 35 degree heat wasn't the best idea or it just wasn't my day.
1-1-2018. Tried but failed. Luckily we saw a koala on a nearby tree.
Will try again next time if we had a chance.
Will try again next time if we had a chance.
I was just about to say to the team, nup lets go when I hear that sound of satisfaction from another Team member, not where we expected it and a little off 'our' coordinates but it is there. Bit wet inside but someone previously left a nice log sheet which is still dry. One of the littlest team members insisted on a swap, she took a blue butterfly ring, and left an uncut Marvin the Martian key. TFTC, Happy Caching, Jacqui & Steve
We gave this one a good hunt and around the area but drew a blank unfortunately, even with the spoiler pic. Springtime and the soursobs are in full force, we could have been right next to it and missed it if we didn't poke the right place. Maybe we'll try again another time.
Found while working south of the city on my 24K circle of traditionals.
Was not in the first place I looked and as logged already this one could use some TLC by the owner.

Found with @patanders team double dragon. Left a new water prove log page. Needs attention. Good find.
Couldn't find this one, lots of clover ground cover at moment! Will try in summer
Found on a great day out at Nature Play SA's Cubby Town event.
Made it hard for ourselves by climbing up a crazy steep hill on the other side of the adventure playground to where the cache is hidden. Each of us adults had a 4 year old holding one hand and a 2- or 3- year old holding the other (we were there with our playgroup) so it was quite a death-defying climb with all the slippery mud and moss underfoot.
When we finally made it to the GZ area, a few of us seasoned cachers had a good look in some likely spots and then an 8 year old muggle from our group wandered past, bent down and called out "Look what I found!", holding up the cache!
Cache contents and log book pages are very wet. We struggled to write our name on them. Sorry, I left my bag down the hill so didn't have any dry paper on me to replace the log.

Found with vj187. Took a while but were determined to find it once we had climbed the hill. TFTC
A b I t of a climb, a bit of a search but we got it in the end. Thanks for the cache
I came in via the NE corner on Sheoak so approached going downhill after a fairly easy 3.5 km walk. I looked and I looked and I looked but couldn't find the rascal. Bulldozers had been through and made the GZ look like Cyclone Debbie had just passed through. I gave up and assumed that the roadworks had removed the cache. I walked down the hill another 10 metres and just thought I'd have another peek and sure enough there it was. Banged up and wet inside but still there. I checked the GPS again and it said I was right on top of it but then it said I was when I was further up the hill as well. Thanks treasurehunter.
I parked my car at the main gate and enjoyed a good walk to make this find along with a few others. When I found this it was exposed. Earthworks are going on in the area. I placed it in the nearest spot to where I found it. TFTC
