After seeimg the fireworks at Darling harbour, why not just pass by and get this cutie? Though lots of parties nearby, i still find it without getting noticed. TFTC!
Im here in Australia visiting from the US. We were walking around Barangaroo so I decided to grab this cache. The harbor area is beautiful and there were many people strolling around. I found this cache without incident and when I was rolling the log back up, I dropped the bottom. Luckily, I found it in about 60 seconds and was able to properly attach the pieces back together and replace as found after signing the log.
We Dutchies are happy traveling with our campervan from Cairns to Brisbane and fly to Sydney Found this cache on our adventure TB in: 0TB out: 0
Just arrived in Sydney this morning after 26+ hours in transit from Toronto (via Vancouver). What an absolutely glorious day! I feel like Im in heaven. This is my first find in Australia. Love these wee hides. Many thanks, CO, for adding adventure to my first day in Sydney.
Second time here, obviously I want looking hard enough last time. Signed it as "DTS" and found it with "HampterinaMicrowave". TFTC
We were waiting for a CITO event and walked down to this cache. Taking a rest on a convenient place, I felt around and found the tiny container then logged and returned it. Thanks for a good hide in a very busy place. I probably looked more like a person looking for butts than a cacher though.
Visiting Sydney for four days to attend a conference. In between the schedule when I had free time, I picked up some labs and caches in the city that had cropped up since I was last in town earlier in the year.Put my hand straight on it, but didnt realise until I took a photo of it! No muggles around late at night, which made it easier. My pen is running out of ink, but did my best to scratch my name into the log. Now off to catch the last F4 of the night across the river to save me the walk! Cheers fdsawq!
Up early this morning in anticipation for boarding our ship ready for our cruise. So what better way to fill in a spare hour, than grabbing a final couple of caches before departure. A nice easy find here, and not too busy this time of the morning. Log signed as JST to save space, and replaced back where we found it. TFTC and greetings from Newcastle, England.
Stage 1 of our trip is Sydney to visit Sal. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find. Day 1. Walked from Maroubra around the Malabar headland. Day 2. We wandered around Centennial Park in the morning then headed to the QVB in the afternoon for a bit of shopping (and of course geocaching!). Day 3. Met friends for lunch in Glebe then wandered along the water front. Day 4. After a bit of shopping we headed to Coogee for lunch. The plan was to walk to Bondi but the threat of rain had us abandoning our plan at Bront instead. Day 5. We strolled around Barangaroo. Thanks for this one.
Found with m_5279. Had to sign as m&m since the log is super compact. Our smallest cache find so far! TFTC
Out and about early morning with a couple of other West Oz geocachers (@tman290, @Waalitj & @mychacha) exploring Sydney over a few days and picking up a couple of smileys as we go. Log signed as TCWM. Thanks @fdsawq for placing Barangaview for the GC community to enjoy !!
On Friday 20 September 2024 geodad geomum and geosis headed out for some caching. Thank you fdsawq for placing this cache and maintaining it TFTC, found with @chrisHere and @waalitj and @mychacha. Log signed as TCWM.
This little 1 took way too long for 2 of us to find. It didnt move when I put my hand on it, we only got it out when the Geokid got on her hands and knees.Tftc
Whilst doing ground work for two nearby multi caches (local and international), lets revisit this hide. Graubunden and I were here twice in early April and mid July, but no find. Possible a case of cache creep on the first attempt, missing second time .Today gave me a quick find. Keeping my streak alive so I can compete my 366 days (leap year) challenge (excluding Adventure Labs). Thanks fdsawq for maintaining this cache for everyone to enjoy.
Fun find! Later in the evening, so not too many muggles and a relaxed search, tftc!
Tftc. Took a while of searching but found it before too long. Found with red_ear_slider
Found with Portstevo, didn't take him too long to locate it. Gorgeous day our here today, lots of fun exploring the area after so many changes! Tftc
Its so tiny we almost missed but after spending a little while on our knees, we finally got it.
Very good cache had to touch the ground, a bit dirty in the city of Sydney but well hidden.
Its been a while, decided to venture out while the sun is shining. Find #356 @1.30pm. Sneaky one indeed, had to persevere, SLRC as found, TFTC.
Cache check confirmed that the container was indeed MIA, so I have placed a replacement. Cache on!
Is it me or am I really not searching correctly? Had to drop my earphones to pretend I was just picking them up and almost screwed out a bench
Even with hint and photos we couldn't find it, having searched the entire thing it was on
I couldnt find this elusive cache. I have attempted a few times in April and now July. Theres some reconstruction on the other side of the side way.
Had to be stealthy with this one. Sat and are gelato, then a quick search had CIH. Signed H123 on the log. Tftc.
Found with the fabulous Carlo Turcis while wandering around the bottom of Packer's Pecker, and TB Snowflake
Clever hint! After a bit of searching, GZ was proverbially right under my posterior. TFTC
Tricky little cache, shout-out to the people who posted photo hints. Might want to bring some hand sanitiser, ended up with some gummy hands.
Probably my 4th attempt at this one. Can finally mark as found. The muggles are hard to avoid.
Looked for about 20 mins, then we figured we were attracting too much attention
Funnily enough there is a tiny magnet in the same area I thought I had it.Thought Id have bette luck in the night, still felt like a creeper next time!!
Probably not best to attack this one right before the vivid night cruise with tons and tons of muggles , but I was here anyway and decided to give it a try Found a likely place to search since it fit the hint. Tried to look casual while sitting and leaving over and under whilst using the phone cam to try locate the cache containerSpotted something likely , and it was the cacheSurprising took less than 5 minutes, was expecting a bigger search because of all the DNFSNow onto the vivid cruise TFTC!
Found cache! I must have looked strange to muggles passing by, with my torch searching in the dark.
Found with hubby! First find in awhile and prompted by hubby getting interested again. A fun and quick find (once in the right spot ) while waiting for the second last ferry of the night. No pen so photo for proof. TFTF!
Lovely spot to sit and enjoy the few! Didnt take long to find it but it was well hidden
Hard, especially with the crowds. Told a few people I'd lost my earring. Loved it
