This is the 2nd of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here being attacked by ants at around 1:16:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

Searched around GZ for a few minutes but not happy with the traffic rushing by constantly. Will have a look on a quieter day.
Quick find while getting out to stretch our legs. Container is very wet and smelly and log book was too wet to sign- might need replacing or drying out. TFTC
A very big, dead and stinky kangaroo was right at the co-ords - not the most pleasant place right now.
A dead kangaroo at GZ did not enhance the ambience of the area. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find (thankfully). The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Team Waldron.
Found on a Road Trip from Mexico to Iron Knob and Whyalla, a) to do some caches and b) a few of us wanted to see this area. The log was signed by Team Vic consisting of The Empire, wozzle68, SnapHappy and yours truly. A nice quick drive by. Cheers and thanks to Team Waldron
[Red]I apologise for the late log... Problems with GSAK and crashed computer...[/Red]

A bit of a stroll, a short search, found cache, stamped and returned... Great company and a fantastic day out... To save space in the logs, we logged as TeamVic...

Heading toward Whyalla, we left Port Augusta and grabbed as many caches as we could along the way. Sully1 and I, taking turns, jumping from the car for the search and Snaphappy driving. With the bulk of the caches out of the way, just a few more finds in the fading sunlight. Thanks for the cache.

A nice quick find for us today, found with a car full on our SA road trip on the way around to Whyalla. thanks for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1700. A good and appropriate name for this cache. Our thanks to Team Waldron.
Day sixty nine of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
On the road again - Whyalla to Tailem Bend.
Did a few caches out of Whyalla, then had no more loaded!
I don't think you can call it a real drive-by if you have to get out of the car to reach the cache!
Mind you I, as driver, didn't get out, so I suppose that counts.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8390. We are making our way steadily home. Today's run is Whyalla to Tailem Bend. Luckily we had a quick run of caches as we left town as after that our PQ ran out. We even scored a FTF that I discovered on the iPhone by chance as we neared it. As it was so new it wasn't in Rob's PQ.
We just started to drive off as the road was pretty busy just before 9.00am. As we moved off I yelled 'Stop! I can see it' so we reversed back and I jumped out for a grab and sign - and still the traffice poured past.
Thanks Team Waldron

Picked up mogni to head to the Creepy Cleve June Long Weekend Event. Of course we were very responsible and broke up the long drive by caching along the way.
Another quick stop but at this rate it will be tomorrow before we arrive. Thanks team Waldron.

This cache was such a drive by, that I drove straight past it [:o]
About half a 'k' down the road I realised that the cache was now behind me and did a quick 'U-turn'
Back at GZ, it was a quick find
I still can't remember much about it, other than I did have to go back and get it [^]

Day 6 of our Whyalla trip
Today we headed out early to do the PT sereis and some more of the local caches. We ended up with 56 finds and a few DNFS. Once again we found a variety of differant cache containers and a lot were found quickly but some had us searching for a while. This is our last day in whyalla before we start heading back to perth. We were hoping to find a lot more caches here but we have ran out of time so maybe we might have to come back sometime to finish them off. TFTC

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today we moved camp to Murray Town and just grabbed a few roadside caches as we travelled. It's no mean feat doing roadside caches with a caravan totalling 28feet in tow.
Loved the scenery as we came through towards Melrose and Murray Town.

Yorkshirekiwi83 and I are in South Australia, visiting from New Zealand for the Aussie Mega. Today we teamed up with Funkymunkyzone and Slieschke and headed down to Whyalla for the day, from Port Augusta, picking up a few caches along the way. For simplicity in signing the logs, we adopted a team name of "FYVS" meaning Funkymunkyzone, Yorkshirekiwi83, Vistra & Slieschke. We made a quick find of this cache along the way, thanks for the cache!
Caching around the Whyalla area today with vistra, yorkshirekiwi83 and slieschke. Found on our Adelaide to Murray Bridge via Uluru road trip for Oz Mega 2014. TFTC!!!
Found on our way out of Whyalla heading for Port Augusta and then the SA Mega 2014.

found it but be very wary of the big black ants in the tree. They stick to your clothes and are very hard to get off
Found this one on our way back home to Victoria for Christmas.
Cache was quick and easy to find the ants that were guarding the cache became a bit fierce!
Thanks Team Waldron for the cache!

Found easily enough as I dare say was intended. However that traffic roaring past at 110kph was a bit concerning! All was well though.
Found on a trip to Cowell to visit our daughter and family.A quick find and sign. Thanks for the hide.

South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
This is the beginning of the journey home, we really only had half a day caching before the driving began to take over. We drove from Whyalla to Peterborough doing what caches we could as we went. Everyone has done a great job of placing a great variety of caches and we had a great day.
Thanks.

Grabbed with Albida on our 2 week caching run from Canberra to, and around, different parts of South Australia including Loxton, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Yorke Peninsula and around to Whyalla before heading home via Broken Hill, Cobar and Parkes. We completed a few power trails and left a couple to do when in the area again for next years Mega event.
Overall a great many different styles and types of caches found. A great time was had caching for 16 days straight as well as camping along the way.
Thanks for adding to the fun with this cache.

On our way to Whyalla for a birthday party so just had to get a couple on the way.. This was easily spotted and retrieved.. Hadn't noticed at the time but I seemed to have collected a couple of 'big' bullants while doing this one and was still brushing them off an hour later...
Thanks Team Waldron for the cache

After a very enjoyable couple of days in Whyalla picking up quite a few caches, meeting some of the local teams at the 4wd event and even clocking up our 10,000th cache find it was time to start heading home again but of course we had to grab a few on the way out. This one did live up to the cache description, it was quite a busy road so we parked a little further up where we could get off the road with the camper and on coming back it was a nice quick find so it was more of a walk by for us but it gave us a chance to enjoy the view of the ranges off in the distance.
Thanks Team Waldron for he cache.
