Thought the last one was going to be the last one for the day, but as so often happens we’re driving right past this one so we’ll get it while we’re here! TFTC
I always enjoy a drive to Beechworth. Haven’t been in this area before. Lovely views. A quick and easy park and grab. TFTC
Quick early morning find after a fish/walk at Lake Kerford. What a magical location. Thanks for the cache
We overshot our navigational skills, well Steve did, I didn’t have any to start with, when trying to drive back to Wangaratta after picking up some of the Nutty November caches.
We would have shot the view, except the sign clearly prohibited this action, instead we settled for a quick cache find.
Thanks for making us smile BettyBoo3747.

A nice quick and easy find, and we stopped to check out the view.
A nice tranquil spot on a sunny but fresh Spring day.

Checking a few random caches on the outskirts of town. Hadn't been here for a very long time and was surprised to note that this cache is just 2 weeks shy of its 10th anniversary. Log sheet was almost full so have left a new log book and all is good with this one.
Found on a Vic high Country trip
It has now got to the stage where we have over 750 draft logs waiting to be completed. These range back over at least a couple of years.
We are not a fan of generic logs but with everything that has been on our plates recently we reluctantly have to admit this may be the only way we can get this back log cleared. If your cache is in our backlog it usually means it is one that we wanted to spend more time creating a much more bespoke log than this. But we are not managing to achieve that goal. So in the interests of getting the backlog cleared we have decided to resort to this long form of TFTC as a way of getting a large number of them cleared.
We apologise for the lack of commentary specific to your cache or event. We are somewhat targeted in what we go after. There are unfounded caches within a few kilometres of our home which we published before we started 8 years ago. We have just never got around to o looking for them. We like unusual cache types, puzzles in particular, older caches, and tend to target a much more wider group of caches when we travel. We like remote caches and caches that bring us to an interesting place. It is likely that this cache found its way into our find list because it fits one of these criteria.
As cache owners we appreciate the effort that goes into hiding and maintains caches so thank you for that.

Came on a mission to somewhere back of Stanley and happened to be passing by and could not resist or pass by without a search! No shooting anything today. Quick enough find poking around but with usual 8 m out. Nearly time for a 10th birthday! TFTC
Making our way down the mountain after chasing some of the Nutty November mystery caches, Muggle Hubby kindly stopped to allow me to sign this cache.
Having had our plans shot to ribbons thanks to the Covid lockdown, we couldn’t even shoot the view here either as the sign on the best viewpoint said ‘No Shooting’.
Thanks for the cache BettyBoo3747.

Out and about exploring this great area. The cache was found quite quickly. Thanks for placing it.

A quick find here.

After spending a week away camping from Melbourne I’ve now moved on to Beechworth for some caching with OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and Papi4506.
No firing today, although we sure are off to a bang for the start of the caching day.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Found with MuggleMoo on our great escape day trip.
We had an eclectic list of tidy up task caches on my to-do list to find today. This was not one of them but how could anyone drive straight past a lonely BettyBoo cache? [^]
We were just heading home from Stanley after coming down from Mt Pilot via the CFA Track. That is a pretty hairy ride in a in a top 4x4. [:o]
We were in my daughters Rav4.
We just had to stop for this cache and to admire the view, but we couldnt shoot it as local signage forbade it.

I walked up here from the lake, so forced myself to have a rest and properly enjoy me some nature.
A quick find at gz, it's always nice to see the original logbook in play, had a read of those who had come before me.. last finder was in july!
Woohoo go the five months unloved.
And an early bettyboo too!
Thanks for showing me this place with a cache!

On our travels from Brisbane down to Mount Buffalo we searched and found som Geocaches. Thanks to all owners for the Caches.
Quick easy find. A few swaps to choose from too which is always nice for our little four ear old. Left a beautiful Christmas tree broach.
A solo drive around Beeech and Stanley today. 11 finds with 2 dnf's. Enjoyable day.. Thanks for placement of Cache/s.
while I was on a break from Sydney visiting friends in Beechworth, we decided to walk to Yackandandah and found this cache on the way. It was quite a walk and we welcomed the drink at the Star Hotel in Yack when we arrived! TFTC BettyBoo
Easy find today on our drive out and about exploring the area. Unfortunately no view today. Cache all dry,
Thanks BettyBoo3747
Thanks BettyBoo3747
Hadn’t been this way before but thankfully an easy road for the Subaru. Quick find -cache was a little exposed but camo returned and signed as the 4WDs headed down the nearby track - TFTC
Found on an afternoon drive to beat the heat.. I love exploring new areas..
#2766 Poor old Wally the Wombat had met his fate on the roadside near gz. There was no escaping old Wally during the cache search as he is really on the nose. We were glad to make the find and grab the PT before 'shooting' on out of here to fresher environs . TFTC BB.
As we were driving past I decided to stop and check the cache. All OK here, dropped in a pencil and one of my Glitter Girl -Roses pathtags. Put the camouflaged back in place and all good here.
Found on a nice wet Wednesday afternoon drive. Good hiding spot found by eager kids quickly. TFTC

Found by Mary & David at 1205. Glorious views of iconic bush across to green pasture. Can just imagine the poineers here. Our thanks to BettyBoo3747.
Glad I drove up that hill from the lake instead of walking or riding! Took me longer than expected because of all the great potential hiding places around there! Very nice place..
I set out for two days with the intention of doing some high D/T caching, starting in the Cathedral Ranges and then working my way to Mt Buller where I would spend the second day. I was looking forward to the caches and hiking around Mt Buller but unfortunately mother nature had other ideas with my plan as on the Friday afternoon, as I arrived at Buller, severe storms hit the region and thats when the downpour started and continued for the next 48 hours. So the long hikes were out this time and some slip sliding muddy 4WD caching resulted instead up around Yackandandah and the Barandudah Ranges.
Up bright and early this morning, the weather was still atrocious, so I decided to head north and try my caching luck up there. Making my way along the wet and muddy dirt tracks, I stopped here for the view and the cache. I initially was searching on the wrong side of the road so tried the other side and soon had the cache. Thanks BettyBoo3747.

Found by the travelling sisters on a road trip from sydney to beechworth! Decided to do a whole day dedicated to geocaching in victoria
We were spending a few days in Everton with Alansee and The Drovers trying our luck on some of the power and Rail trails in the area. After a good morning riding up hill we spent the afternoon more leasulaly picking up some of the other local caches.
We do agree this is a great location to shoot the view, which we did while trying to locate the cache, which turned out to be quite easy when you look in the right location.
To save time and not take up room on the logs we signed as ACDC
Alansee AC The Drovers Team Crackers. (Mainly because it sounded good. )
Many thanks BettyBoo3747 for another good view.

Met up with Team Crackers and Alansee, for 5 days of fantastic caching around Beechworth,
Myrtleford & Yackandandah.
Took a break from the power series, to do a few other caches in the area.
This cache found quickly, and in good condition. Log signed as ACDC.
Many thanks for placing this cache, BettyBoo3747, for us and others to find.

After a nice lunch in town we were off to find an important cache and this was on the way there.
Was out collecting some souvenirs for August & took the scenic (4wd) track from Yack to Beechworth. Ph came into range & hang on a minute.... We just drove past a cache! Back track a bit (disturbing a swamp wallaby) & notch up find #199. Tftc great hide

My thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

This one took a while, we went a bit late so it was dark by the time we found it TFTC
As it was a wet morning and I was already out and about in the car I decided to try this one as a quick drive by grab for my daily smiley.
Found a handy parking spot close gz.
Looked around for a view but couldn't find one here today, only a wet fox wondering around feeling safe beyond the gate and sign.
Made the short walk to gz where I found a smiley waiting for me.

We decided on this Good Friday to visit Stanley and get some of the caches on offer. Wow, the views are amazing from up here. We stopped, admired and then headed to GZ. Mr V was very happy as he found an old bottle (1950's long neck) with no cracks and chips on it. It wasn't long before he discovered the cache in its hiding hole and we were on our way.
I was enjoying a stroll around the Beechworth Historic Park and somewhere up the hill from Lake Kerferd got to this great view
Not a soul around to spoil the peace and quiet
TFTC and excuse to get some exercise [^]
It was easier to walk here than try to drive around the dam from where the geomobile was parked.

Was surprised how busy this little bit of road is, while I was here 3 cars and a jogger passed by.
All looking liked they wanted to stop and offer help so didn't stay to long.
Was a nice view of the valley below, I knew I should have bought the camera along.
Probably the best use I have seen for old Armco barrier here to, used as the stockyard posts, great way to recycle.
TNLN, TFTC and the great view. Cheers.

Lovely quiet spot and a nice quick find after leaving the GPS to settle while taking in the view. There are quite a few clouds around and a nice cool breeze as well but probably not much chance of rain. Had to move along as the bugs were getting out of control. slt: pt l: pt t4tc

A favorite point just for that trip i think!
The cache was a nice quick find and we traded a pathtag.
Nice view from the car too!

We weren't here to shoot the view, we had more important business in hand! This cache was more like a bit of a bribe to come out here this morning
A quick find just off the road, but no time to admire the view - we were off!
Thanks, Robmc.

Dropped by and picked this one up on the way home from Beechworth. A quick find with coordinates spot on. Must admit I was feeling a bit leery on anything that may have decided to hibernate for the winter in there with the cache, but it was retrieved, signed and returned without any unwanted guests.
After getting this one we kept on driving through to Stanley. We haven't been on that road in quite a while and it is NOT good for 2WDs at the moment. Very rocky and rough with a lot of stormwater damage. Just a heads up for anyone who may want to venture on to collect further caches in the Stanley area.

The last stop for the day before heading back to Albury/Wodonga for the mega event, and this was an enjoyable drive out to this spot, and one that I hadn't been to before. Didn't 'shoot the view' as such, but certainly did enjoy the views across the plains.

A quick find and then a pause to "shoot the View". Thanks for showing us this spot.
Found at 6.25pm in the company of Skullracing & the Geo Princess. We had met up at Cattle Crush and had a chat about various things. Finally we asked if they had found this one and on hearing they had not we all set off to do so. Our GPSrs took us along an unfamiliar track, but we continued on to the right spot. Mrs Skullracing quickly located the cache and we all signed the log. TN Left: possum. We were all talking to each other so much we almost forgot to take in the wonderful view that seems to go on forever. TFTC BettyBoo3747 #883 for us. Think that makes the last one of yours crossed off the list.
#2178 Found on our BettyBoo afternoon with the Harrowangs. After meeting up at Cattle Crush we realised that neither of us had completed this cache as yet. In fact we did try this the other weekend but we were on the wrong side of Lake Kerford. The Garmin was creative with its auto routing and took us on a dirt deviation instead of the bitumen alternative. Nevertheless it got us to GZ and the cache container was soon located. Our thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the placement in a tranquil area - such a shame we have to go back to the lights and sounds of the city.
Dropped by to retrieve The Travel Turtle Trackable, let some trackables visit and pop in a Pathtag.
The walk up from the lake was a bit steeper than expected, but easy enough on the road. This was our last stop before walking back into town. In the end we'd walked 12km. Not bad for a Sunday afternoon stroll! TFTC
4th for the day - great views from around here, interesting to see people living up here again after many years... Left Turtle geocoin.... TFTC
Thanks again BettyBoo3747 for another quick find on our weekend caching.
