Out on a girls weekend, Beechworth 2023, and who could help the pull of some caches in the area. TFTC. Beautifully placed!
10:25The final day of our time in Traralgon, we headed southward, largely among some previously solved curious puzzles and in amongst the time consuming and very challenging cleverly hidden caches.Nice to sneak up on this one! Thanks to Nautilus7497 for a neat little hide. 35791
I had the morning to myself and thought I would go geocaching in the Gippsland area. The focus was the Virtual Geocache in Yinnar, then the Blue puzzle in town and whatever other ones caught my eye. Been meaning to get those 2 geocaches for a long time.
People need to watch all the blackberries and barbed wire while heading to this GZ. Then once it in right location, it was a quick find.
Thanks for the cache Nautilus 7497

Spending the day caching out with @mtrill3 this one had us sliding to find. TFTC
Today was not my day for caching I had total cache blindness.,including on this cache, I'm still confused with what I missed as I went down 3 times trying to find this cache.supringly even withall the mud and not the grippest of boots on i managed to stay clean. I will have to return.
Out with Blazer Triaz doing what we usually do, caching in the dark. Less muggles this way also makes the challenge a whole lot harder. Before long we had spotted the cache after doing a bit of circle work. Once spotted we signed the log and very happy that we had found another. Will definitely be back around the area to stamp our names in more caches. Tftc
I had organised for a weekend in Gippsland... with Sunday allocated to a run with the MX-5 Club from Drouin to Mirboo North for lunch... yeah, right into the middle of the *Italian Festa!* After lunch was "free time" to make your way home... so I went caching instead.
After unsuccessfully checking out the obvious locations, I upped the ante and tackled the blackberries and locations more fitting to the Terrain rating of the cache. It didn't take long to come up with the goods!
Thanks **Nautilus7497** for the cache.

Beautiful weekend weather calls for a day of geocaching trying to reach our goal of 200 finds with 30 left to find before we reach that goal we started our day with this geocache TFTC
Not initially where we thought it would be, but soon found it further down. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
This one had me stumped for a while - actually figuring out where to park the car, that is! But once I'd settled on taking a bit of a walk, finding the cache was fairly simple (though I had to go a little further than the app was telling me). TFTC
Hi Nautilus7497, I replaced bag and added extra log as it was full. For next people, park on other side bridge away from town - hope that makes sense as it is a little hairy crossing bridge with cars coming.
The Sun had come out and living in Baw Baw shire we were not locked down so i decided to head out for a day out of the house and what better way than a drive around your own area picking up caches, Gippsland has some great locations to visit and lots of caches that have not been found in awhile, so with my new caching gear gloves and sanitizer I had a great time touring around the area finding caches and exploring new places. The parking here is just about none existant and cant say I enjoyed the walk to GZ after recentlly being hit by a truck as a pedestrian.
Thanks Nautilus7497 for the cache.

A quick find once the GPS settled. Not nearly as difficult as I expected. There is a lovely property for sale near here. Bet it's expensive. Farmland here is

OHC made the tricky decent to retrieve this cache. A nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.

OHC noticed this rather quickly and made the slippery approach without any dramas. Thanks for the cache.
Invited for a day out caching today with OHC GT37, P4506 and M&K (as a lot of logs were signed this way), we headed east to see if we could rectify some DNF’s from last time, and cache out some area. Some zig zagging occurred, but all clues & gems were found for M&K, a puzzle OHC & GT37 solved found, and some very high quality hides and scenic spots were discovered. A great days caching! OHC found this one, looking at a spot I wasn’t to keen to go near. Thank you so much for placing this one for us to find Nautilus7497.
Out on a girls day out with OzHockeyChick, geoturtle37 and becNmonts caching in the local area.
Managed to park on the correct side of the bridge this time with made the find easier. TFTC

A girls road trip today with Sebastian taking Mrs Papi4506, (Mark&)Kelly, beckNmonts and myself for a ride through Gippsland.
Being very careful not to slip further down the embankment, I spotted the cache nice and quickly. Could have been way harder.
Cheers Nautilus7497

Lovely spot, no muggles around today perfect time to grab a cache.

Camped at Dumbalk after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. Fourth for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
Needs a new log page very soon. Hard to find a spot to write. Very nice spot thank you
**# 20376** Found on a drive around the area while staying nearby.
Not many muggles around today and a few quick finds for a change.
Yes it's still there, nicely hidden and unloved for over 10 months.
Thanks for the cache Nautilus7497,

Parked in a terrible spot and wanted to get back to my car so didn't have the best of looks. Not sure if I'll be back to this one. TFTC anyway

08/03/2015 18:03 Couldn't locate this one as I was using a phone GPS and had a lousy lock. Plus it is quite dodgy running across the bridge relying on hearing the sound of traffic. Nevertheless I searched the usual places and hide types and came up empty. More research and accurate GPS required here I think. BTW: I may have dropped my Walking pole at this cache (or at In The Wrong Town cache.) Please let me know if you locate it! - David
Update: Phew, found the walking pole. Dropped out of my car whilst dropping off one of my kids. I was very lucky as it lay there for some hours before I went back and found it!

It's been a while since this cache has been found and today we gave it our best shot and came up with nothing. Parking is a problem and the road was busy today.
Driving slowly this morning so not so sneaky. Second find for us on our short trip through the Latrobe Valley.
I would not suggest taking children to this cache. or anyone who is a little clumsy..

Found this little sucker with Kato Potato this morning after unnecessarily getting absolutely filthy climbing right up and under the bridge. Watch out for the barbed wire and make sure you pop into the nearby town's general store - charming shop! TFTC
Number 2 out of 8 found today with kyabbott. Bit difficult to find a safe parking spot and had to do some careful running along the side of the road however made a successful find after unnecessarily introducing ourselves to some spiders in the local area! TFTC
Thanks for the traffic warning. It was a sort of peak hour along the road and the bridge has no verge. But we safely made it to GZ (and back), comfortably searching for the cache. TFTH
Sneaky bridge and awkward parking. Even walking along the road felt a bit precarious as cars appeared around the sneaky bend. Nice spot once off the road and at GZ. Thanks the the cache N7497
Did my best to park off the road (which was not too easy) and then walked back to the bridge, a quick look around in the obvious places but then soon after spotted the cache. I thought that this size is usually marked as a 'micro' but it was found without issue none the less. Lucky there was not much traffic at this time of day, so got back to the car and on my way without any trouble at all.
Looks like a big branch came down in the winds yesterday evening. Would have been a shock to come around the corner and find the road blocked. All cleaned up now. Cache was quickly found but a sneaky hide. SL TFTC
This is also a spot that you need to be careful of traffic . It is in a 100 Kmh zone and parking is around 100 metres away
Fairly easy find though

Went back today with my reluctant teensy, he even got out of the car and walked to GZ with me, after a short search he had his first cache in his hand.
After all this rain in the last few days there's lots of water around but the cache is nice dry.
