Sent Mr Unssy down to find this one along with info for the earth cache.I went for a short walk following walk the Yorke. Views were spectacular. What a beautiful place we live in
We visited this one yesterday but had no luck. We were impressed and somewhat envious of the young people we saw swimming and clambering around. I remember when. After contacting the COs overnight we have returned today with a replacement which we have hidden in a SPOR. Glad to assist in keeping this old one alive TFTC yet again Liz and Bruce
I had a good look for this cache today. It was getting on darker so possibly it may have been missed. Looking at photos since, I was in the right spot however was not able to find this cool old cache.

Found with 63Roos, ALL7 & DeafPhantom. What a adventure! . Liz and Bruce, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area. So beautiful views and so challenging climb down and up the hillside. Pleased to be able to retrieve the cache. Interesting rocks in the bottom of the beach.
A big day out with Mattycat, Perfect Di and Jack the monkey, it was nice to see the odd traditional out here amongst the artwork series, enjoyed the views, found the cache only after wandering around the top spying the hide before heading down to retrieve the cache, a beautiful spot

A fishy sort of caching day where we all went out for some fun on the syp.
We all had a stamp or a pen and whoever found it first stamped or signed for all of us. ...
Signature may be one of our stamps or FMD, froghoppin matty Di, or frogs of mass destruction, friggin mad dudes?
The froghoppin duo, Mattycat Purrfect Di, Jack the Monkey, a ?ig brown snake, a black one, a few shinglebacks, some birdies, skinks, roos, a goat, some sheep, and probably cheered on by some death adders in the bushes.......... all found your caches!
It was nice to find a couple of traditional caches amongst the trail ones.
Oh L&B... nice to find one of your great old caches... but really! We followed the name to the clifftop... then... what!!! aaaarrgghhhhb it's not exactly as advertised Some time and some energy spent later, we're not getting younger you know, and the cache was retrieved and signed off!
Nice views
And a range of containers, everything from ammo can to test tube, only a couple of those rusty little minty tetanus tins, some berocca tubes but no nanos! Quite a few of the trail ones had gone, like the fish that got away, but some handy tackle supply stores along the way had us rejigging our lines and maintaining said caches ??
All part of the service!
We rocked the syp cache trails and might have broken some personal records. (Including 265 for the day)
All together a fun caching manic monday!
Tftc
Take care out there, have fun in 2023, a cache a day keeps the boredom away ??

Logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids. No apples or other fruit needed ;p

Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Great of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
We do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Day 6 holiday adventures in SA. Not chasing powertrails and just happened to come across this oldie! Bonus! Down we went. Amazing rocks here. Fav added for the view alone! Thanks for the cache
Today we drove from Marion Bay to Warooka, to Wool Bay, then down to Sultana Point then followed the south coast road past Port Moorowie, through Foul Bay and back to Marion Bay.
This cache here was the cache of the day - for many reasons:
- its age - made in early 2002 it is now 20 years old
- its hiders - the famous Liz & Bruce who have now amassed over 73,000 finds
- its stunning location - the views from the clifftop are impressive - rugged cliffs and small rocky islands nearby. Today we could see the north coast of KI in the distance.
- the rocks in the 2 bays near the cache were just amazing - so many different colours, shapes, sizes, textures - this place had them all. Well worth the walk down and look around. Not many places showcase rocks that are black, grey, brown, pink and orange in colour - and all so close to each other.
- the fun walk down to the cache and back up again - particularly by my Mum who is now 75 years old and who also snapped her heel-bone just over a year ago. We walked down the east side near the cache and then walked west to the next bay and up the sand-dune track and back to the car.
Epic location for a cache. Thankyou Liz & Bruce!

Spent some time this week exploring Innes National Park and the Yorke Peninsula. I wasn't particularly keen on the climb down. Cliffs and heights scare me a little but the other half had no fear and I cautiously followed after. Found it sitting exposed on a rock with the contents strewn around it. Put it back together hidden nicely. TFTC
Lured by the age of the cache and egged on by the old duck's log we gave it a go but had to call a halt at 22m. Now there's old and there's OLD
Stunning location. This old duck had to watch her step, but log signed and replaced, so worth it. Thanks
as we have a look around the area this was one of the caches we found

Wow what a special place and spectacular view, thanks for taking the time to bring us to this lovely place.
Day 4 of caching Gone Fishn’ trail on Yorke Peninsula and a few off trail trads today for a bit of variety with Wollaston and Liz&Bruce.
Wearing gloves and gators today even though it’s cloudy today it’s getting warmer and the less tourist friendly wildlife are on the move. Adding to the thrill of finding each cache was the view of perfectly grown cereal crops almost harvest ready forming a tapestry across the hills, some starting to crop with mega harvesters. Along the way are the odd blue tongue lizards, huge centipedes, flighty spiders, horses and alpacas, birds nesting and singing away, the obligatory late afternoon flies, and the biggest beetles, and of course what would a cache day be without upsetting a few ants!
So much effort has gone into setting up these trails, a few caches were tricky to find, some were under bushes that are now trees, some were found in undergrowth that has overwhelmed the hide, some were under rocks when they were hinting a bush post or tree. For the rest, most were easy, some were duplicated and some were missing. We may have added to rock piles making a couple of cairns.
Maintenance was done by replacing full or wet logs and missing or broken containers all completed with CO permission.
Thanks to the many hands and minds taking time to set out hides and showing us your part of the world

Day 1 of our holidays had us up early and ready for a geocache or two while we explored the Yorke Peninsula. Starting in Edithburgh and ending our day in Marion Bay. A total of 38 caches found today.
Last one for the day, heading back to camp along the dirt roads and took a detour to the look out nearby TFTC

I started out on this one but with my hip and knee issues and being on my own, I decided it was safer to just stop and take photos. Fantastic spot and still happy I came here even though I didn’t manage the cache.
Mrs Gizmo was invited to join mogni, sir_spectre, allister w, Aussie M & M and JJ52 for a big day starting with an early morning event, then some different cache types in the city before hitting the road to the Yorke Peninsula to complete the geo art.
We started at the boat and continued on to the other geo art on a logical route. We stopped at any other caches that were along our route. This being one of them. All logs were stamped with a team stamp of "Mystery Randoms"
We made a detour especially for this cache and to have a break from the geoart. Beautiful location that we all enjoyed. While the girls enjoyed the view the boys continued the walk and located the cache under our watchful eyes.
We had a great weekend full of fun and friendships. My biggest caching trip yet.

A huge day out with Aussie M & M, gizmos gang, JJ52, sir_spectre and AllisterW. We had a mission to complete all of the geo art on the base of Yorke Penninsula and complete it we did. In the process all caches that needed some love were fixed and all mint tins spotted removed. Always good to see an old octopus bucket, sadly it had seen better days but all good ready for the next finder.
Thanks to Liz and Bruce from mogni

Having done about 3/4 of the geoart in the day so far it was nice to be taken to a nice location. Missed the track and went straight down. Quick find. ALways good to get a old cache. Replaced the cache as the old one had a hole in the bottom. Saved the old logbook. fav point for the location and not been a preform tube. After 588 of them i am really sick of them.
All logs today were stamped as " Mystery Randoms ". The team was sir_spectre, mogni, allister w, Aussie M & M, JJ52 and Gizmo Gang. We did the whole geo art in the one day finishing the last 11 under torch light.
This was mogni's last calendar day to fill with 10 in every day. Since it was the 29 th of feb she wanted at least 100 cache finds for the day. We worked out that the geo art was a good choice. She wanted to do 100 caches and maybe some more. I thought all 588 caches was a better idea ( all the geo art ). I recruited some people. I talked to the fishy tales group and got permission to pick up all the caches and replace them. They gave me 300 new caches and enough new logs for the whole trail. Also strict instructions to pick up all the mint tins on the trail so freddo could recycle them. We found 61 of which 49 could be recycled. We ended up using all the given containers plus more and CITOed 4 milk crates worth of old/broken/brittle containers. Over 600 cache finds for the day. With 3 weeks to the 29th mogni decided to expand what she wanted. She wanted as many cache types on that day as well. We got a multi, puzzle, trad, earthcache, event, wherigo, virtual. We started in the dark and also did the last 11 caches of the geo art in the dark, it was a big day.

A big leap day with the Mystery Randoms. Sir Spectre, mogni, JJ52, AussieM&M, GizmozGang and I had a big day from a event in Adelaide to finding all the geoart at the bottom of Yorke Peninsula. We were tired by the end of the day. This one was found along the way. Awesome views. TFTC
A big day was planned for "Leap Day" with mogni, sir_spectre, allister w, Aussie M & M and Gizmo's Gang heading down to the bottom of Yorke Peninsula to complete the geo art and find as many different cache types as we could as this opportunity only comes around once every four years.
We had a fun day/weekend and achieved all our goals, starting with a very early event, then some different cache types before we left the city for the drive down to Warooka where we started in earnest.
We made a detour to come and find this cache and to have a bit of a break from the geo art that we have nearly finished. Made the short walk to the edge of the cliffs and the 2 boys took the over and down option and sir_spectre soon had his hands on the cache which was not in very good condition so it was replaced as stated in his note. We watched and took numerous photos of the lovely views from this vantage point.
Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce and for bringing us here.

Out and about finishing off a big day doing GeoArt. We were close to this one, and Allister and Wayne decided to make the descent. In the end only Sir Spectre went down to the beach, the rest of us took the time to take photos. We came prepared and the original cache container was replaced due to damage.
This was a lovely spot and easily one of Mary's favourite finds for the weekend.

Following lots of travel over the past few months, I arrived back home in Adelaide last Monday from a short trip to Tasmania. However, after only a few days I was getting itchy feet again so thought it might be good to squeeze one last trip in before Christmas. The Yorke Peninsula looked like a good option, so I made a last-minute decision to head down there for a few days.
Yesterday I made my from Adelaide to Edithburgh, across to Hardwicke Bay, then did some of the FT series down the Yorke Highway before heading down to the Innes National Park. Today I continued with some of the geoart before ending the day back at Edithburgh, finding this one as I made my way around the coast.
Thanks Liz and Bruce for the cache.

Completed as much of the geoart power trails as we could, not under as much time pressure as yesterday. Did Fishy Tales, Fish, Jellyfish, Sally Starfish, and Sammy Starfish. DNFs from the Anchor were also found last night. A relaxing dinner in Yorketown, then another night spent talking and solving the problems of the world. This was indeed an amazing place TYFTC SLTNLN Fave
After a mad cap crazy day yesterday on the fishing line Team KAA enjoyed a well earned sleep in. I wouldn't say we were fully refreshed, but it was not long before the demands of the day had us enthused to get out there. Nice to be a cool day (yesterday got to a crazy 42 degrees) so a much more comfortable trip.
Despite the lack of urgency (we did not finish and did not expect to finish the geoart) we soon settled into the same rivalry as yesterday, making for some very fast finding. And like yesterday, lots of getting out of the car only to have someone else say found it ('cause they got out of the car 3 seconds earlier) so a walk around the car just to make the get-out-of-the-car feel useful.
And at the end of the anchor we came out here because... well, just because. Because it is not a geoart and therefore a well earned break?
All caches signed as KAA because the stamp ran out of ink. KAA are the Kiwis and Aussies - Mar1sa and the Seagnoid for the Kiwis, skuzzybear, Munja and DavidWazza for the Aussies.

A long weekend with a massive amount of geocache finds in the Yorke Peninsula! The weekend was filled with a loong day of the fishing line power trail, followed by a subsequent day of the geoart at the peninsula bottom. I managed to squeeze in a night scuba dive, and then it was a slow return home finding a few geocaches on the way. An unexpected enjoyable weekend than what I thought it would be, with great company from locals Munja and skuzzybear, and visiting Kiwis mar1sa and the Seagnoid.
Today's objective was to complete as much of the geoart power trails as we could, and we were not under as much time pressure for running in and out of the vehicle as we did yesterday. It was a later start departing around 9:30 a.m. collecting a few geocaches from Edithburgh to Yorketown before meeting up with the other team members. We then completed the following geoart: Fishy Tales (FT), Fish, Jellyfish, Sally Starfish, and Sammy Starfish. The remaining caches from the Anchor were also found from the previous evening. A rewarding dinner was then had in Yorketown, before I said farewell to the team and squeezed in a night scuba dive at Edithburgh Jetty.
This was a small detour from finding the geoart today, and it was great to collect a nice 01/2002 oldie geocache. We had awesome views from the lookout, and made the walk down the clifftop on to the rocky beach, and back up to find the cache. The Seagnoid and I were looking around and making it much harder than it needed to be before I had my suspicions to its location, and sure enough, I was right. We certainly could have checked that place first before climbing up. Cache was opened, and contents and logbook in good shape. Thanks Liz and Bruce for this golden oldie today! Nice spot!

The third day of the Aussies and Kiwi’s caching trip to the York Peninsula and today we were attempting to tackle the Geo Art. After a quick breakfast we made our way back towards Warooka, and like the previous day we quickly got into our caching rhythm. Whilst we were still chasing numbers, we were not looking to push ourselves as much as we did yesterday. With this being the case, we still were able to achieve some good numbers and have an enjoyable day. As the sun began to sink low in the sky, we finally decided to call it a day and try and find something for tea. All logs were signed as KaA (Kiwis and Aussies).

Stopped by to check out the view and grab this cache. Beautiful views up top as well as down in the cove.
Took a while for the needle to settle, but eventually found the cache in an obvious spot after poking around in all the wrong spots. No need to trample any of the vegetation.
A great spot and a fav point from us.

Found with dty73 and youban on our Yorke Peninsula invasion! All logs signed DTY (dty73/Tankengine/youban). This was the highlight of the day - especially anongst all the trails! Took heaps of photos! Favourite from me! Thanks for the cache!
On a caching trip with Dty73 & Tankengine to Yorke Peninsula. Team signed as DTY. Today is our fourth day on the peninsula and we are continuing with the Geoart trails. We finished the Shark and headed in to Marion Bay Tavern for a much needed break. After lunch we decided to attack some Traditional caches and the Fish. This was a pleasure to do as the containers were in much better condition. A good end to a long but good day so thanks Fishy Tails for the art. This was a spectacular place for a cache with panoramic views. Perfect light for photos. Kutgw
We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.
This was another great spot to discover through caching. With easy parking near enough to GZ, we couldn’t help but take some photos before heading to the cache.
Then we made the trek(?) to GZ. Again we did another one of those let’s go directly across and down! That was stupid as there is a steep path from the main area, but you could easily slide down to the bottom then walk across the rocks to GZ. But of course, we didn’t realise that until coming back and climbed back up that way.
At GZ we saw a likely spot right at GZ, but when we moved the rocks there, there was nothing there. It wasn’t until we went up a bit then turn around that we saw the cache, out in the open. We covered it a little better than how we found it to hopefully protect it from the weather. Tftc Liz and Bruce!!!

We are in our second week of exploring the Yorke Peninsular and we’re having a great time. It’s a really beautiful location and we are so glad that all the geo trails have forced us to spend so much time here.
A few days ago we started on the geo art trails after spending four busy days traveling down the fishing line and finding all 868 of the hides, today we are continuing with the geo art, but mixing it up with random caches spread across the countryside. The geo art gives us the numbers, but the random caches take us to some lovely out of the way spots. A great combination of the reasons we love caching.
As we travel along these power trails we have discovered that a number of the hides have started to deteriorate. Some of the original containers have become brittle and broken. Where possible we have replaced the containers, but we have started to run out of replacements. I would suggest a run by the CO, or another cacher to replace those we were unable 5o.
Thanks to all the CO’s in the area for all the caches they have developed, put out and maintain for us to find. A mammoth job, well done. We appreciate your efforts.
This was a nice change to all the power trails. Great views across the ocean from the time we crested the hill, and then a short stroll along the cliff to GZ. And a decent sized container to top it all off.

This one may be missing so please replace this cache if you are able. With thanks and kind regards Liz and Bruce
We had no luck finding your cache today. It may or may not be there, today it was too good for us.
Despite our best efforts, we could not find anything here today.
With that being said, we were on a quest for big numbers, and so did not always spend the time searching that we may otherwise have committed, so the cache may actually be still here.
Oh well, there is always next time!

Beyond awesome . Challenged myself to climb down a cliff with my companions and rewarded with the cache and the best views and fabulous bay !
Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches.
Yorke Peninsula Day 3: A small break for power trails (after a quick 60 caches from the fishing line...). Then we collected caches around the Yorketown and Edithburgh area and in the Innes National Park. Some spectacular scenery to take in, strong winds to battle on top of cliffs, and another exhausting day. Signed as SWAG-JJ. TFTC!
Cache #3,000! And a great milestone cache. The rocks down here were amazing!

Day 3 visiting Yorke Peninsula from QLD for a week of caching with geo friends Waz and Vic, Ardom, Gcoven, JACS Team and joojoo57.
Enjoying the SA countryside and the vast amount of caches to find. All logs stamped with our team name SWAG-JJ
A big thank you to all CO's for the time and effort in placing these caches for our enjoyment.
Absolutely worth the challenge of getting to GZ and back up again. The colours of the rocks and landscape are amazing, we spent quite some time exploring and examining all the different size, shapes and textures of these rocks after we found the neatly placed cache and a favorite point from me.

Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 3: A bit of a slower day today, did a smidge of the powertrail, a swag of traditionals and a few other randoms along the way.

Omg. Windy day on the peninsula. I tried to access from above but ended up backtracking to the viewpoint, descending from there and then waking along the shore. I found the little bucket with the trusty blue lid and obviously signed the log. Took some photos too. Retraced my steps and up I went. Thanks for the hide. A favourite from me.
Team work required to get this geocache on Australia day. Nice breeze coming off the sea this afternoon SL TFTC
Found on the 13th but never logged it. Found on a four day trip to a friends lovely beach side house. Thanks for the cache near one of their favourite spots!
Found after Christmas lunch with my kids and nephews. Took 22/250 case and left plastic compass. Didn't see any Joe Blakes, but there was a few lizards! TFTC.
Today while we were doing the geoart series we explored Marion Bay and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way with Roostaman and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

**# 19305** Found on the SA leg of our 2017 escape trip.
A perfect Spring day for the last of the geo-art trails with Tassie Trekkers.
Lots more muggles around on these roads, and mostly good quick finds.
Another excellent view and photo op from up top.
Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce,

A beautiful spot for our picnic lunch in between showers, thank you for bringing us here Liz and Bruce.
Unfortunately our GPS was going crazy and we could not lock in a location, we did try but after a search off the beaten track we thought best to leave it today.

Beautiful little cove here, lots of rocks down by the water.
jinta29 and I are in town this week after many months of planning for a week to remember. We are heading to the Yorke Peninsula, Murray Bridge and as many places in between as we can get to. This was one we found along the way.
TFTC Liz and Bruce.
Liz and Bruce, I found your cache Clifftop Panorama on 25/4/17.
This is my find #3834 and find #357 today.

KrabiBoy took the low road and I took the high road, he was right but I still managed to find the cache first
Day 2 of our mammoth week begun with a very early start to try and grab some caches before the Anzac Dawn Service in Warooka . We were in full geocaching beast mode today and signing cache logs like they were in short supply [^].
I had been eyeing off an interstate trip for some time now and made plans to head to SA to power through the geoart trails over here . I roped in my geo buddy Krabiboy to join me and we set about solving [?] caches and highlighting Jasmer caches that aren't available over in WA. Our adventure took us from the CBD over to the Yorke Peninsula and then back across to the Murray Bridge area . We were relentless in chasing down the finds and picked up as many as we could in the week that we had available. Due to the park and grab nature of our visit, the log books which weren't able to accommodate the ink stamp we had made were signed with the initials 'jk'! Fave points will be awarded for those caches which are considered awesome
A massive thanks here to Liz and Bruce for placing this cache here and for tempting us to venture over to this area. Cheers!
jinta29 found your cache Clifftop Panorama today. This is my find #6985 and find #357 today. I was able to get my name in the log book here and we replaced the cache as we found it. Thanks once again Liz and Bruce for placing this and bringing us to this part of the world!

GPS seemed to lead me off the cliff. On the lower path there seems to have been some wash away and a landslide. Definitely would not let kids search for this one.
Was initially a bit concerned with the direction my GPS was leading me when approaching this one, but soon spotted how to approach. Really loved the location, the black and pink granites are stunning. Spent a while combing the beach before continuing on towards Marion Bay. Best cache of the day. TFTC Liz and Bruce!
To start a new caching day,
I headed out this way
A great panorama [^]
Where's the cache ??
Oh !!
Off we tumble !!
And by and by after a slide and a rocky stroll,
I found the cache in its sarcophagus
Good old 'Occy Buckets'

Yorke Peninsula 2016. This weekend I joined Fitzy_1965, Sol de Lune and Luckyl10n for a six day trip to the South Australian Yorke Peninsula to get all of the geo art puzzles at the southern tip area. We had a great weekend and apart from about five DNFs were overall very successful. The trip started on Wednesday after work when Fitzy and I jumped in the car and drove to Narrandera for the night. The next day was a long day of driving to Adelaide via Balranald, Murrayville, Pinneroo and Tailem Bend. On Friday Fitzy and I went to Adelaide airport to collect Sol de Lune and Luckyl10n before heading to Port Wakefield and down the Peninsula to get started on the art. Thee days of art later we were all done by lunchtime on Sunday so went looking for another few short series near Port Wakefield. The trip ended with a two day drive home with all four of us via Mildura and Balranald. A fantastic weekend and I cannot wait till we can do another trip ! This was a great spot, but not quite the cliff top experience I was expecting ...
Thanks.

#5393 - 09:17; Day 2 of Team ALFS (albida 33, LuckyL10n, fitzy_1965 and Sol de lune) geoart appreciation tour of the Yorke Peninsula. After collecting a shark and a starfish on day 1, it was now anchors aweigh as we completed our next piece of art, the anchor. With the anchor completed, we took a short detour down to grab this cache. After taking in the Clifftop Panorama and grabbing a few snaps, it was a scamble down the hill to find the cache. Cache located and log signed, it was back up the hill and on to something fishy again!. TFTC Liz and Bruce
Yorke Peninsula trip with albida33, Luckyl10n, fitzy_1965. Logs were signed as ALFS.
Another neat find off the geo-art trail. Bit of scramble to GZ but the trip out was worth the effort.
Thanks Liz and Bruce.....

One of the bonus caches we picked up along the way doing the GeoArt caches on the Yorke Peninsula. Quick find after the scramble down and were soon on our way again.
Thanks Liz and Bruce !!

Suscoe was out and about today in the very good company of Phetlern catching up with the wonderful caches on the Yorke Peninsular.
It was a delightful day, a little bit of gentle breeze, some sunshine, some clouds and a bit of drizzle on one or two occasions.
The roads were pretty quiet today but the bird life of the area kept us company with various calls and fluttering from tree to tree.
Thanks to Liz and Bruce for this cache.
The day ended with over 250 finds for the day, a very satisfying achievement for we four geocachers.
