Put in our best effort but decided the mini Cachers should have a go at the cool swings instead.
Just too many rocks. There were places where it could have been or should have been but no luck. Just too many rocks.
Although the coordinates were accurate, there were a lot of hint objects, but fortunately it didn’t take too long to locate this cache. TFTC
Oamaru very positively surprised us, there are not only pinguins but super old houses and nice views. TFTC
Found it after a bit of searching, and not quite in the expect spots either. Coincidently had a chat with Bitsprayer on the phone at the same time - didn't get any hints for this one of course, but did for one in town that I'd very recently DNF'd. Cheers Gav [10500]
4121. the GPS was accurate so then it was just a matter o "which one"?

As the reason we came to NZ was to celebrate Clare's Birthday we were being taken out for a meal (and a very good one it was) so came a little early and did a little caching.
Took a little searching as the clue was hard.

We grabbed an ice cream since it was so hot and went to sit near the water and eat it. Turned the GPS on, and there's a cache 28m away. Thought we better get this one! TFTC
Found it while back in Town for Christmas with Family. Near froze though it's a bit cooler here than Queensland Australia
Took a little time but we got there

Good find, took a bit, but had to find a good viewing angle. Left Redcliffe District Scout badge, TFTC!
The place has changed a little bit since I was last here, much more civilised than before. TNLN THanks
Just arrived to Oamaru, was not easy to find somewhere to stay since
almost every bed was occupied by someone visiting the Elton John consert
in Dunedin. Soon time for the Little Blue Penguins to arrive from the sea
and we took a walk out to the coloni and was passing by this cache.
A quick log together with wasawasa.

I must go down to the sea again the poem goes so I did today and was rewarded for my efforts.
This area is certainly changing everytime I venture down this way.
Thanks

Met Cacheasaurus Rex at the location and joined the hunt. Managed to turn it up for the joint FTF. Nice to met you!
