Unfortunately there does not seem to be any evidence that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. It would appear the owner of this cache listing is no longer interested in the cache and the cache has been abandoned.

As such the cache is being de-listed (Archived). If there are components or remnants of the cache, please recover them as we don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.

If you wish to contact me regarding this cache, please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

27-Nov-19
Er, we didn't realise Bunjil had pulled this one until we read the previous logs as we couldn't locate the cache at or near to the posted coordinates. Anyway the clue helped us locate it which was about 14 metres to the south and, yep, it is most certainly soaked so signing the logbook is impossible. I've added more accurate coordinates to the log although as noted above, the clue helps a lot!

27-Nov-19
If anyone *plans* to tackle this cache, unlike us (Mrs B & I) who just amble along aimlessly picking up caches here and there, then a new, small (dry) logbook would be welcome as well as a decent waterproof bag/container into which to place the logbook. The existing (metal) container is fine except it lets in water and as the container is on the ground, well that doesn't bode well for keeping the log dry when it rains or when a passing dog lifts its leg! (Too much information?)

27-Nov-19
Found only with the help of the hint, we couldn't sign the log though, far too wet, it was still on the radar when we did it.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

----------

Hi there Cache Owner,

This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.

Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Cache was found very quickly. Container contained water and log sheet is slimy. I drained it and wiped it out. Though I managed to write my name the log sheet, it won't be long before the sheet is unusable. Mould is forming. Tftc

At first I trusted my GPS which lead me to corner of the fence. Nothing looked obvious so I checked the hint which directed back towards the monument. Cache found safe and sound.
Coords out by 14m.

Thanks for the cache.

***NO CLUES OR HINTS IN THE FOLLOWING TEXT***

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy

I remember this place very well from my old waterskiing days in Hazelwood pondage. With all the 'No Camping' signs at the pondage, I won't admit that we might have just done that anyway

Nice easy cache found in the first place that I looked, even though my GPS said 10 meters to the north

Thanks for the cache Nautilus 7497

Tftc. A quick find and a bit of a damp log but too far gone. Wonder how the Barramundi are faring today? Talk about a massive stuff up with timing: let's put the fish in the pond but wait the power station has just announced it's closure!

Stopped here this morning feeling confidant we could make a find.... alas a car was parked here. We sat for a while, said car left and the hunt began.... we came up empty handed..... surely we should be able to make a find.... we had a few more to do so off we went. We then noticed a new log pop up.... found today.... could that car have been a cacher? Surely they didn't take the cache? We headed back and the cache was in plain sight?.... could we have missed it before?.... four sets of eyes?.... signed now anyway.

I found the cache easily enough, but wasn't able to write in the log, as it was so wet it was practically papier-mache I was nearly going to give up and come back after reporting this one for maintenance, but I've done better - I went back home, made up a temporary log and put it in a ziplock baggie, so at least anyone else who finds the cache in the next few months has a means of logging their find. TFTC, and thanks for helping me find such a nice quiet place!
