Reperio 10:26Up early this morning for a full day of caching around the Yass and Goulburn area, and the rain that was predicted the day before well and truly arrived. In and out of the car in short bursts carried on throughout most of the day until later in the evening when things settled down. Most of the caches were found in good order today. In Canberra for the Capital GeoBash Mega event. Pacmania, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area. ??
Since I'm in Canberra for Mega, I've enjoyed seeing many places as well as the warm weather. Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache ?? Pacmania.
More big days of caching as WAC consisting of Lachlan1.77, Leg5, neva2old, Barnzy12 and me. So many caches, so little time. Too many tree climbs for my liking but Im a chicken from way back. Thanks to other cachers for helping supply some of the required tools for the higher terrain caches. Thanks to you for supplying some of the hides Im finding.
Over here for Capital GeoBash Mega. One of many hidden caches all over the city and surrounds on Mega Day itself. Part of deaf geocachers and friends - WACDG, TFTC
Another massive day with the WA Crew signing WAC. If we arent up trees, we are wading through water or hiking mountains. We are grateful for locals who have shared their TOTT with us. Since we all flew to get to Canberra, it wasnt possible to bring the tools necessary for the high terrain caches. For some of the day we cached with an awesome group signing DG as deaf group; truly a generous and welcoming group. Thanks for your contribution in hiding this cache to make our experience as amazing as its been so far. Please forgive us if the dates are incorrect; we are catching up online logging whenever we find
Hot weather today on country road. Found with a group and signed as WACDG during Mega event. TFTM

Last one before the Barton again. Parked in the recommended area and took a short walk to GZ. SL with beavar at 3.15pm. Time for an IceCream, a cool drink and then off to find our accomodation for the weekend. #10,855 TFTC Pacmania
Geoturtle37 and I made a nice quick find here which was much appreciated as we were chewing on dirt/dust coming across at us. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
In the area to grab a few caches. We found a variety of hides, some easy, and many much harder.Signed and replaced as found. Many thanks for placing this cache, Pacmania, for us and others to find.
I pulled up close to GZ, having passed a solo woman walking along the road. Walking back to the GZ, and trying not to be too scary, I said hello, and she asked what I was looking for. Deciding to be honest, it turns out she wasnt a muggle, and pointed me in the right direction (I was 5m out)! Easy! Thanks for the cache Pacmania
Decided to go on a bit of a cache hunt today with ilook4geo even though it promised to be a hot day. We found a good selection with some being very easy to find and some taking more time. This was a nice quick and easy one and the log soon had two more names on the list. Thanks go to Pacmania for this cache placement.
Shared the find here with goingplaces2 and had no problem with this one. All was good with the container and log, which was quickly signed. TFTC.
A last hurrah for 2022 caching with The Rats today- into and then out of Canberra on some geotrails. A number of different caches were tackled on a hot day.

Heading out to the nearby Shaw Winery to meet the inlaws for lunch I decided that I should grab a daily cache before hand. This one was nearby and fitted the bill. Parked nearby and wandered down. Looked around for a bit longer than most probably before spotting the correct spot.

Had picked up some easy caches out on Dog Trap Road so couldn't go passed this one on the way back home.

Nice quick and easy find. I just followed the well worn path all the way to Ground Zero
After a great visit to Shellharbour parkrun volunteering to as marshal I left home rather late with a full packed car for a long weekend of caching. Took matrass, boat and walking/climbing gear so prepared for most situations. Slowly made my way through the highlands to pick up pieces here and there and then a quick run towards Canberra. Most of today's planning however was just outside the ACT but close to the border . Picked up the trails around Murumbateman and then towards Hall. Got pretty warm along the day, I think I saw 38 at some point. Luckily no long walks and all caches found quick, thanks for putting them out there!

We're camping at some quiet locations and great little towns that should lead us to the Mega at Queanbeyan.
It's a credit to all the cache owners down here, just about all the finds have been well maintained and with excellent coords.
Camped at the Gundaroo Oval to see if we can find some of the trails around here.
Thanks for placing this cache Pacmania . We visited this cache at 10:16 a.m. and it's #4076 for us.

Suscoe was heading to Canberra today after a restful night in Gundagai.
We got an early start to collect a few more finds along the highways and on some of the quieter back roads.
It was great to see the sun rise over the hills and valleys.
We arrived in Canberra early afternoon.
Thanks to Pacmania for this tour into this interesting estate.

Left Port Macquarie heading south to the Mega event At Canberra.
Todays stop was at the showgrounds Gunaroo, headed out to do some of All7's trail.
Good parking & good hints helped with quick finds along these busy roads.

This is a nice theme and reason to have a cache here! Was allways wondering abou the lines. First barked up the wrong tree as there is a larger tree half fallen over and leaning a lot and GPS had me there. But after thinking that it might be lost. I looked around just ot find another candidate.
After the big FTF Hunt for all the new caches in the trail, with growing teams approaching from either sides and a final event size catchup somewhere in the middle of the trail, I felt happy about the 11 FTF I had the pleasure to join in, but I was in the mood for more. The family was at the museum and I don't get every day up to these part (well I have never been on this road) and may as well do some more caching in the area till I run out of time. Continued the trail, stopped at a winery (well once you are up here) and did a few more caches in Murrumbateman and on the way home. Found another 20 caches, a GCA Riddle cache by acident and a surprise FTF on 63Roos. All in all a very fun and eventfull afternoon.
Thank you Pacmania for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Thanks for adding more fun to walking the dog this afternoon kids had a great time finding our first cache.
Out for a 3 hour afternoon drive towards Yass so picked up half a dozen caches during the journey. Interesting properties out this way along with some vineyards. Quick and easy find. TFTC Pacmania.
Left home in pleasant weather - arrived here meeting up with TravelGran in miserable rain & wind. Never mind, our first find for the day - now better cammo. Tftc
A completely new area for us, thankfully we had our "Tom Tom" to help us find the right road. The hint did help us, altho' we added a little more camo! Tftc
Headed to Cowra for a weekend getaway we stopped at Murrumbateman for coffee, only to discover it's sculpture in the park weekend.
Following the road to Tankengines new cache genghicat discovered this one to. I hadn't seen it as it was tucked under my parking icon. We jumped out for a quick find in good condition. Took some photos of the pretty purple flowers and went on our way .

Quick park and grab on the way out to Cowra for a couple of days caching. Thanks for the cache Pacmania.
3 weary woman after an epic weekend at Warrambui for Kippax Konnex.. some of us even napped in the car! Beautiful to drive in the countryside on such a pleasant afternoon. A NFF. Tftc!
I bombed on this one 6 months ago, and since I was doing the caches west of the Barton Highway I was in a position to try this again. Much easier this time around, not sure how I missed it originally. The hint didn't really help as there are plenty of those about here.

The things i do for a souvenir! Found this while Rick stayed warm and dry in the car.
Absolutely pissed it down, with hail, just as i got out to search for the cache, then stopped when i got back to the car to take the pig out which i got stuck in there. Then started raining again as i went to put cache back.

I made a late decision to go for a lobby caching road trip today, but boot wanting to go into the busy CBD of Sydney i instead chose to go into the remote regions via the great southern road.
These scattered drive by caches along country roads are much more enjoyable to find than many micros.
Thanks for the cache.

We are staying in Gundaroo, continuing our journey from the Ozmega. Unfortunately for us we were in Murrumbateman on a Wednesday, so many wineries were closed. We enjoyed the drive to this one as it showed the many new houses bring built.

Set about collecting all the caches along the road north to Yass today - found 20 of 21 targeted, this was the one that got away. A frustrating search - all the "it was easy" logs made it worse. I'll be back
A good parking spot off the narrow road and a short walk to GZ for a quick find. TFTC Pacmania
Having spent the majority of my caching time in the last few weeks trying to solve Puzzle caches around Alexandra and Goulburn, I decided to get outside this afternoon after The Race, to grab some traditional caches. The Barton Highway was chosen as a likely candidate for about a dozen caches, which as it turned out, was right on.
I thoroughly enjoyed being out in the car by myself again after being in a stuffy Club with hundreds of others eating, drinking and talking loudly - except while The Race was on, when they were shouting and screaming!
All the caches were found easily and most were in good condition.
Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy. TNLN Stamped or signed logs as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.

Darksidedan and I headed out to Yass again to collect a few more caches on a fabulous sunny Saturday morning. We both found around 40 caches for the day - a good haul given we were not in a hurry and headed back to the ACT at lunchtime. Another fun filed day with lots of chatter and birds. If not otherwise indicated, all caches found in reasonable order and in short time.
Second last for the morning for me. Sneaky hide
Thanks Pacmania for the cache!
