Find#5965Nice hiding place What a epic road trip exploring Australia Thanks for the cache
My 3rd day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. Today I left from Iron Knob and arrived at Kyancutta home for the next 3 nights. This cache would be find number 9 of 49 for the day and find Number 51 in total for this trip away.
Seen this hadn't bee found in over 12 months so went for the long drive out to grab it on my way to Kyancutta. Like the hiding location.

Found during a caching trip to Hiltaba, the Gawler Ranges and Whyalla with e.gregory1 for a few days. On Day 1 we traveled to Port Augusta and Iron Knob then camped out for the night near Lake Gairdner. On Day 2 we arrived at Hiltaba with the main objective to tackle the caches on Mark Bonin Peak 'The Lookout' and Mt St Mungo before traveling through the Gawler Ranges. On Day 3 we drove to Whyalla then camped out nearby for the night. Day 4 saw us return back to Adelaide, picking out a few selected caches along the way. Targeting a range of cache types (Traditionals, Puzzles, Earthcaches, Multicaches, and Letterboxes), a multiple of cache attributes, and a wide variety of Difficulty/Terrain combinations resulted in an entertaining few days with cool weather and great scenery. Thanks for the cache Bowz2!
Found with Redmond on our way home from our annual JLW Pie Run. This years is a bit different to the norm with Covid-19 but still good fun. TFTC
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children.
In an effort to get to find #5000 at Millicent, we have to speed up and slow down our caching rate. On our way to Mt Ive and Lake Gairdner for speed week, we stopped along the way for a few caches. This was one.
We were udderley exhausted when we reached this cache, but milked the hint for all it was worth. Cache found, signed and returned as found. Thanks Bowz2

Found at 2:55pm on a lovely sunny afternoon but the wind is shocking! Interesting to find a cow as we've only seen sheep all the way down the road from Kingoonya. SL TFTC Great to find after the disappointment of a DNF at the phone box, so this is our cache no.1200! Thank you!
Quick drive by on our way home after a fantastic few days on Goog's track, Kingoonya and Mt Ive Station. Very impressed by the condition of the roads this trip compared to 2015. Novel location for a cache. Tftc.
Found on a trip north with Anymules, Laighside legends and Moneydork, nice little hide in a ceative letterbox

Found It!
A quick find here since the Mule and the Frog had the cache in hand before I had even gotten out of the car! No non-metallic cows were seen though...

Found a bit worse for wear laying on the ground, I happened to have the same container spare in the geovehicle so replaced the container using the original log and replaced it where it was according to the hint.
After an odyssey around the entire area we really had to finish with a cache and this was nearest to our route that we hadn't yet done, until now.
I can't believe we drive past iron knob nearly every fortnight and we never knew this cache was here - yet today my phone told me it was here so up the station road we went. Found as the final cache on day 11 if the Great Tree Family Road Trip of 2016. TFTC TFTH TNLNSL
A quick find while on our way to Mt Ives for a short family holiday. Only a few found as caching was just an opportunistic thing. This was our first find for the trip. TFTC.
We found this cache on our Northern road trip, which was to celebrate my significant birthday. We saw some great places, met some wonderful people and slept through some 3 dog nights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and finding caches made the trip more memorable – Thank you and ……Joy to the World!!
Took a detour from out Iron Knob caching hunt to come out here to check this one out. Cache found on the ground so replaced as the CO intended. Plenty of cattle here, enjoying the mild day lazing around. TFTC
A Great weekend away doing the Googs Track with good friends. Lots of different scenery and a lot of fun
We had a great time seeing some good ranges of different styles of caches
Thanks for putting these caches out for us to find Bowz2

We actually did see some cattle. Truly.
Found with the fun and company of the Goog's Group on my getting reacquainted with Goog's Track trip. I'd last been to Goog's in 2003 so the revisit was well overdue. Dunes, corrugations, lizards, birds and beautiful country was the reward. Weather was mostly perfect, as were the campfire meals and star bounty at night, every night. GG members included M's Piggy (Babe), Tk2, Disk, Team Waldron, Gum-Ako, FireSafe, honeysucker and Freddo. Thanks for their amazing company under the many clear skies we had

And there was a cow 50m down the track this morning. Take your time and avoid the beef.

Heading home from Kimba we decided to grab a few caches on the way, this was very bumpy in quite a few places, when we arrived at GZ a ute stopped to see if we were ok, after assuring him we were he went on his way, it was a quick find sign and replace, the only livestock we saw was a red kangaroo that decided to hop in front of the car for a while before going bush. Our last find for the day on this section of road. We needed to heed the caution, but made and easy find. TNLN. Thanks Bowz2.
Boxer found this cache whilst travelling with a group of Vietnan veteran mates, on what we called "Pedros toughen up tour."We travelled west to Ceduna and then north up Googs track, which was a real adventure on its own.We then headed east to Tarcoola and then south to Iron Knob, then home to York Peninsula. We slept under the stars, taking six days to do the trip. Finding caches along the way was a bonus and it gave us a break from driving. Thanks for the hide.
Moo.
We found nothing.
So we replaced it.
Then we found it.
So we replaced it.
Does that make sense?

Found as part of the 10 teams on the way to the 'Hunt for PMB 16' event, Anzac 2013 weekend.
Drove straight past this one last time we were in the area so nice to complete it now.
Drove straight past this one last time we were in the area so nice to complete it now.
I was headed home today from a fantastic long weekend with the group on The Hunt for PMB16!!
Had a hugely fantastic time with some great people and saw some incredible scenery and rock formations in the Gawler Ranges. [^]
I ended my weekend with a stay in Whyalla and picked up a few caches there, too.
All in all, 108 successful locus cache events and 3 DNFs for the 5 days away
So where else would you put a cache on a bovine[?] Although if I remember correctly Tk2 has one in a different spot
We even saw some cows, and sheep, a few metres away under the shade of the trees but they didn't want to know us and stayed where they were!
Luckily they weren't on the road as some international tourists went past because the tourists couldn't seem to miss a huge pothole so I am sure they unluckily could have hit the side of a cow!

Found as part of the convey for the Hunt for PMB16!
Nothing strange about 6 cars pulling up and all congregating around the back end of a metal cow! Well that is until the japanese tourists drive past and wonder what on earth is going on all the way out here.
Thanks to Amy the original cache was located and replaced back (no pun intended) in it's place.

Found as part of the group from 'The Hunt for PMB 16' event, as we travelled toward home today .
Neat little roadside ornament . The bunny ears still survive after more than a year as well. We had sheep and cows grazing nearby today .
The White Dog Gang found the old cache a few metres away, so it was put back in its proper place (not the first time it's gone for a wander). We'd already found a replacement log, so all the pages were combined [^].
TNLNSL.
With all the trucks lined up along the side of the road, a car load of Japanese tourists just happened along past us and went straight through the middle of a giant pothole, sending their wheels into the air ! Some of the things you see .
Thanks Bowz2.

Many years ago I noticed a few like this on my way to Alice, this time though I was out caching with Gum Ako and I was happy to let her retrieve this cache, tftc
Holy cow, I think it had diarrhea! did my best to stem the flow but a magnet might be handy for the next finder.

Holey Cow, well holey container actually
Found the tin lying on the ground, with some teeth marks in it. Some had actually pearced through the tin. Replaced with a better sealing container and placed right back up the cow's ar....tail, with a rock wedged in to keep the container in place.
WARNING!! NO COWS WERE HARMED WHILE FINDING AND REPLACING THIS CACHE!!!
one may have had a tear in his eye though

Love the quirky stuff you find on roadsides. This one brought a smile to our faces, especially the bunny ears. Were they there just fir Easter? Cheers .
Found this one on the roadway some two metres from the anticipated location. Cache still in good condition and hadn't been run over. The magnet if it ever contained one is missing. We wedged it in a spot on the structure and left it in as best a way as we could not having a magnet to leave on it.

It's a DNF, not sure if cache fell from the clue location, had a good look around. maybe another time.
This cache was the main reason for the detour between Whyalla and Pt Augusta. Figured that after 20 odd days, and no logs, we'd be in with a pretty good chance at first. Pretty unimpressed to see that the cache had been found on 12 Nov 11 without being logged. Also noticed that this particular cacher had several other finds in the area that hadn't logged online. Very frustrating when this happens... oh well...20 caches for the day. TFTC and the interesting artwork.
Very disappointed not to get joint first after seeing that no logs had been posted in a nearly a month since being published. TFTC
Who would have thought it! and there were cows around! Great spot and certainly worth stopping to inspect the health of the bovine. Thanks for the cache.
