Had a look here as wondered why so many cars were parked across the road.
There are construction fences here but they were easy to walk around but was stopping cars entering.
Checked GZ and no sign of a cache.
Where are all those occupants of the cars gone to?
Thanks for the hunt

07-Jun-16
This one has far too many DNFs and may be a candidate for archiving.
I will be inviting a local cacher to take over this spot in the next couple of weeks.

12-Jul-14
After having spent the day with the young ones trying to break me in Back Creek Gorge, it was time to head home. Following OrionJ, all of a sudden he pulls over, so I follow suit thinking he may have a problem. It's then he tells me there is a cache about 16 metres away.

Check the D/T and the terrain is acceptable, as I'm trying to build my average up. Cross the road ands et about the search. Eventually Bubba_89 comes up with the find.

Log signed, cache replaced, TFTH.

12-Jul-14
Finally heading towards home after spending a good solid six or so hours in Back Creek Gorge, seeking out two fun but challenging cahces, with FastEd 59, barbbowman and Bubba89.

I decided I just needed to grab one extra cache for the day to round things off to three Smile and this extra cache fit the bill nicely. I pulled over across the road from the driveway and hoped FastEd 59 would follow, which he did, and was surprised when I said just 16m.

We all wandered across and started the hunt and soon enough it was Bubba89 who made the find. We got the log signed and things back and place and headed north towards home.

25-May-14
Out and about with Couchmen, and three of my kiddies, on a run to do Kilarney Glen cache and others in the general area. Only really a half day caching, but we still managed 12 including the awesome Kilarney glen cache. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

This was the first for the day, and after having lunch in the car park, we made the find. TFTC.

25-May-14
I was out today with Blacklegend and part of his junior team trying to clear out this area.

It was a beautiful day and the bush was looking spectacular.

BL & I both love being out in the country as opposed to suburbia and so we had a ball!!!!

We thought we would grab some cash (or is that cache) before we tackled "Killarney Glen"

The kids were down the hill quick as a wink and the littlest came up with the prize.

Thanks BrisTracker TFTC SL TNLS

Quick find on a study trip for work. TFTC.

A beautiful Autumn Saturday...so I went for a drive looking for caches. Big Grin

When I arrived there was a parked with people in it so I headed down hill first. Smile
A quick find once I got back to the car everyone had left. Big Grin
Thanks for the cache

Out and about with ManicWombat and Bulldozer72 today, it doesn't take much to entice us to grab an "Extra Cache"... Wink As we pulled up though, the other two realised they had found it so I was on my own... Oh, ok... [^]

I checked one spot and came up with nothing... A quick relocation and voila, container in hand nice and quickly... I added my name to the log and tucked everything away. And that's the story of the extra cache... Big Grin

Cheers bristracker.

14-Nov-13
Found with Captain T.... longer log to follow Smile

14-Nov-13
I have driven past this cache many times and always said I wouldn't bother looking for it unless I did the walk down to Killarney Glen at the same time. How's that for discipline?

Nyssaflutterby and I decided that Killarney Glen would be a nice place to visit today, so I felt I had earned looking for this one. We arrived in the surprisingly big carpark and were getting about ready with boots and backpacks to head off when I recalled this cache closeby. I zoomed in on the map, saw it was only a few metres and figured may as well grab it first when we're not so tired. I followed the pointer to the likely spot and a quick look later had the cache in hand. We signed the logbook, left the cash and headed off down the hill. TFTC bristracker Smile

13-Sep-13
We were camping in Sharp Park back down the hill so I managed to sneak up for one grab while we were here. Looks like someone had a bbq inside their Ford Territory at the entrance. Took me awhile to find but got there and added my name.
Thanks again bristracker

25-Aug-13
When we arrived, a man with his little daughter recommended us the trail, but we only wanted to find the cache. Thank you therefore!

25-Aug-13
Little extra time for an extra cache, and a look on the carwreck nearby. TFTC

09-Jul-13
Quick find, TFTC.

I seem to be making it a habit of finding burnt out cars in my chosen parking spots while caching (second one in a week!). Cache located quickly and log sined. Tftc.

After the big slog at the previous cache, it was a relief to have a nice driveby!!

Have been here before on an explore, well worth the visit.

Thanks BT.

23-Mar-13
This was the last one for the day and after we had done another up the road which required a bit of a steep climb it was nice to park and grab this one. Have been here previously for another cache nearby by TFTC

04-Jan-13
Found with Danger_Man after some scratching about. I was cery grateful for the easily accessed cache as I did not have the energy for a long walk. Took slinky, left safety pin. TFTC!

04-Jan-13
Nice spot in a rest area. Once again scared_cat was the better looker and found it before me. Took the slinkey and left the safety pin. TFTC.

Out with IolantheK for a Friday frenzy. On our way to Beechmont today. Pulled in to the parking spot. Made our way to GZ. The cache was located after a quick hunt. Smile

07-Dec-12
Another Mad Friday with teamdfl Big Grin, this time heading south towards Beechmont.

Cute idea for this cache. Walking to Killarney Glen was our next job for today, so this one at the gate was an added bonus. TFTC, bristracker.

10-Nov-12

# 466 Todays Caching was completely focued on collecting the two XoE caches down this way. I down loaded the pod casts and collected the required info but was concerned that they were gone due to the lack of finds over recent time. Contacted Herbz who confirmed my co-ords and assured me that they would still be there. I did the Upper Coomera Road ones the other night, so started with this side on my way down.

I like extra caches, and would love extra cash. Had no intention of going down the hill, but the range is open, and now I'm here.

Anyway, quick and easy find after I was in the right spot but I must have walked past it half a dozen times following a bouncey GPS.

A nice quick find, signed log. TFTC bristracker.

A nice easy find, little bit slippery after recent but very managable. TFTC

01-Jul-12
Nice quick find, cache is in good condition. Cheers bristracker Cool

27-Jun-12
Given the consistent rainfall over the last 24 hours and the hint, we were a little aprehensive as to what we might find. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find and, to our surprise, the cache was in excellent condition. The good camo contributed to a good hide. TFTC bristracker.

24-Jun-12
Quick find short walk TFTC

23-Jun-12
This was number 6 of 14 caches today, with a muggle mate, while we were killing time between dropping off a group of bushwalkers at Binna Burra and picking them up at O'Reilly's about 8 hours later.

A nice easy find.

Easy find - not so comforting hearing the gunshots though.. Found with kadin92.

05-May-12
The good news is that the smell is gone.

TFTC.

31-Mar-12
OMG something has died here lately.

Arrived and got out of the car, me of the weak stomache and exceptional nose skills soon discovered the smell and was ordered back to the car. Geo-hubby headed for GZ and reckons he made it harder than it needed to be.

16-Mar-12
The GPS danced and despite this we headed for the most obvious place and started looking. Found in short time and placed our name in the log. TNLNSL

11-Mar-12
nice easy find before a great walk down to Killarney Glen. TFTC

23-Dec-11
Found while up here at christmas, have not had time off to log as yet.

17-Dec-11
Well, this one was certainly easier than the cache further down the hill. There were a lot of muggles in the car park today getting ready to head down to Kilarney Glen. They all had camping gear with them so we reckon they're having a party down there. Not a bad place for it as they are unlikely to upset the neighbors! TFTC BT.

11-Dec-11
Out and about the Canungra area with Fangsoki.

This was my last one for the day and was appropriately named, given I was caching with Fangsoki who loves saying "just one more" when it come to caching.

Thanks for the cache Bristracker (it's not that steep to the "Kilarney Glen" cache and worth the walk) . Cheers.

While signing the log one of those pesky cache stalking ninjas jumped on in.

Fangsoki dropped in a fancy geocoin as well.

11-Dec-11
Visiting again with Radnoski, I dropped in a geocoin I have had for a wee bit too long.

07-Dec-11
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 9:45am. It was cool and cloudy with lots of drizzle and rain today. It was quite a long drive from Beaudesert where I was to get this cache but it didn't take too long to track down. TFTC

03-Dec-11
Really, the walk to my cache isn't all that bad. Coming back is the issue TFTC bristracker

03-Dec-11
Have alraedy been down the track for Killarney Glen, but a quick stop b y to bag this one. TFTC.

30-Nov-11
I thought this area looked familiar when I pulled up at it Razz It took Radnoski and I a few visits before the nearby area was "open" to the public. Annoyingly, it was "open" today.

I found this cache safe and sound and in good condition. I dropped in a trackable. With many thanks to the gracious Aussie Liahona, I took the "2TF" prize Razz I was confused what it was doing in there - but checking the logs soon made it clear. A lovely area. I do recommend the nearby cache for those who don't mind a bit of a "hilly" trot. Congrats to Aussie Liahona for getting FTF. TFTC Bristracker Smile

28-Nov-11
Having persuaded my geohubby to come out for a FTF tonight that was almost near Nerang, once there it wasn't too hard to convince him to come after this one. It seemed very dark tonight. Is there no moon? Anyway, we travelled out towards Canungra and took the same turnoff I'd taken this morning but this time stayed on this road. Started up the hill, climb, climb, climb and then TomTom told me to turn left. Now the hunt started. Stamping our feet in case of snakes I took a breath and swallowed a bug. Yuk!!! The dangers of night caching! It must have been attracted to the light of the torch. Traversing a slippery slope we found ourselves a cache. A Big Grin FTF Big Grin at 9:40pm.

What a great idea to put one here Bristracker. Nice to have an easy one at this location as well as the one with the long walk downhill, which of course, means a long walk back uphill too. Great spot!

Took: nothing, in the end. We left the prize trackable for the second to find. See, we're not greedy.
Left: a couple of bangles and a dinosaur - no ca$he with me.
