One of a handful of DNF's on the day. Had a quick look in the likely places - by obviously too quike or not unlikley enough!
Found before the log was replaced...Yes co-ords are dodgy, but I had another idea...and there it was. Sneaky enough to earn a favourite from me. TFTC SL
Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 6 of the road trip. Today we were leaving Dunedin region and making our way to Oamaru for the night and picking up a few caches on our way.
After finding GC2K5NZ - "Where everyone can get a smiley" (North Otago), we decided to check our GPSr and noticed that there was another cache that was not too far away as the crow flies less than 250metres, well it was giving us a chance to go for a decent walk and get some extra steps in.
The walk to GZ didnt take too long and as we neared GZ, reading the hint we soon realised where the cache was going to be and decided to trust our GPS to guide us close to GZ and we soon spotted something that matched the hint as we neared GZ, well that was a bit obvious wasnt it.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks Bitsprayer for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5223). Glad that we decided to come and find this cache after hours as I think that it could be muggle central if we arrive here at the wrong time, but tonight the area was deserted.
This was our last cache for the day, what a great spot for a cache, really love these old building around Oamaru, now it is time to make our way back to our motel and call it a night, ell that was a bit of extra nocturnal urban caching and it was great fun.

A reasonably quick find in the dark. Thanks for the cache Bitsprayer.
Found as part of an epic NZ Mega Event trip. Day 6 - Dunedin to Oamaru via Ranfurly and Dansey's Pass with agcnz, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
It took a bit of searching to pin this one down.
Thanks for the cache, Bitsprayer.

Love the way Oamaru is manicured as a historic town, with quaint buildings & is a really lovely place to visit & find caches !
Nice old hall, in fact we have really liked the old buildings in Oamaru and wish we had time to stop longer. Quick find. Log is full, we managed to find a tiny space to sign. SL. TFTC.
Day 9 of our campervan tour of New Zealand with Angel, Teachermom and Hynr. Today was a relaxing day. We found just a few caches around Oamaru and walked around the town a bit.
Thanks Bitsprayer for hiding this cache.

On a caching day with Thee Mole and Miss Smarty Pants great day with 28 finds and 1 DNF. They had tried before GPS is out here but we found today. Great hide log book is full.
Found this cache as part of the Gangster's Aussie assault on the first NZ Mega with Big Matt, FarmerFrenzten and steeba.
We were first drawn to another spot but after expanding our search we soon had this one in hand.
Thanks

This was one of 69 caches for the day along with bogonghazy enroute from Oamaru to Dunedin for NZ Mega. We had sunshine, rain, snow and wind throughout the day. But still got to enjoy a greats days caching. Thanks to the CO and greetings from Oz.

Found with Sully1 on our third day in this beautiful country.
Today we headed from Oamaru to Dunedin, enjoying even more of this scenery
and friendly Kiwis, and finding a great variety of clever and educational caches along the way.
Thanks again Bitsprayer

The GPS was leading me astray so took a chance on my instincts and found it. TFTC
Thankfully The Marble was searching with me today because my GPS had me at the agapanthus! Took us a while to find it, but we got there in the end, though not without circumnavigating the Settler's Hall! Now back to Thames St to take photos of the Opera House and assorted historical buildings. Such a lovely streetscape! TFTC, Bitsprayer. =^.^=
Spent a bit of time looking in not quite the right place, then had a wee read of the info & a wee think, and all was good. A CD muggle drove past just when we were signing, but looked totally unpeturbed so I guess he knew what we were up to. TFTC
Sneaky! I thought I'd already checked there once! Good to get this one done. Log nearly full. TFTC.
Looked for this cache before at this spot and finally found it this time , thanks to Bo & Bronnie
Once at the GZ I just knew or thought I knew where it would be. I spent ages looking and re looking then finally found it just where I thought it might be, Someone had just been over zealous in replacing the cache. But all good now. TFTC. Cheers Bo
On a caching trip with ingidayna to Oamaru and surrounds to get 1000 finds. A sneaky hide. TFTC
Heard that this one could be a little tricky so took some re-enforcements to ensure we didn't leave empty handed. TFTC
Second time looking for this cache, this time with Geomum instead of a school group. Was pretty happy to finally find it ... Mum seems to have a knack for finding micro caches. TFTC!
Found with Mitchell, Nicole and Carolyn. Quick nip in and out during the break in quiz at the pub
found with Lyndsay, Nicole and Carolyn. help from John and Jess. ill put my finger up there!
A nice quick find here. Oamaru has done a great job of looking after and highlighting its old buildings. TFTC #3205

On a day trip to Oamaru and took a very enjoyable stroll around the many historic buildings. Very impressive and more so as they seem to be well maintained.
Found the cache easily enough in a good hide but it took us longer to re-roll the log than it took to find it. .
Thanks Bitsprayer for the cache and greetings from Western Australia. [^]
Day 23 : Cache 3 : Total caches 78

I told the male members of the expedition last time we went to this site where to look, but did they listen! Today we found it exactly where I thought. One up to the female geocachers!
Came back here after a little direction from Bitsprayer that both my GPS, and cachersense, hadn't pointed me at, and had an easy find. Moreso, actually, since the Civil Defence/Rural Fire muggles had left work! Cheers Gav [10506]
Went down this morning and spied what I was looking for but upon retrieval I couldn't get the log out to sign it!.
Thought of leaving a bit of paper with my name on it but I know the cache owners thoughts on this!.
I will have to return better equipped

4120. In the end we had more trouble extracting the log than finding the cache! We were glad to find this one after struggling with previous caches in this area.

Found this puppy. ALmost gave up the ghost, but Bitsprayer's pen advice provided a fruitful find. As it turns out, there IS something good to do while waiting for a meeting at the bank...
Joint up with another school Geocaching group, and yet we still could not find it! Very tricky indeed.
Must be some kind of record, 1 find to 10 failures! poor little garden. Next time
Two of us spent a good 10 minutes all around by torch light but no luck. That garden is going to feel mighty loved by the time the first smiley gets here! Cheers
*FTF* Had to come back for a second visit to find this one. A real tricky little hide. Kept going back to this spot and and with the assistance of a small aid the cache was finally in hand. TFTC
No luck for me either Another tricky Bitsprayer classic I suspect Will be back with a bit more time to spare
A beautiful morning, shaping up to be a good day, supposedly a cache not far from home so off I went nice and early.
Spent over an hour trying everything I could think of and no luck!
